Great pub, fantastic staff and lovely location. I’ve already booked to stay again but a ground floor room as the stairs last time were challenging, steep and narrow. Compact room but spacious bathroom, really lovely stay.

Lovely pub with a nice garden, and the rooms are great value for money. Nice location, not far from the river and other restaurants.

Accommodation wasn’t clean, floors were dirty & nothing had been wiped down, stains on the toilet seat, the bed was fresh & clean, the housekeeper needs to have further training, we bought some cleaning wipes from town & cleaned the floors, toilet & other bits, lots of cobwebs everywhere.

The food was excellent. The manager and staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable.

The stairs to the room were very steep and needed vacuuming. The water pressure in the shower and from the hot water tap was very low. Which meant the shower wasn't very good.

The room was nice and tidy. Comfortable bed. Fan provided in room to keep room cool. Bathroom was a nice size. Staff very nice and patient with customers

however shower head was not very good it either needed replaced of descaling as it was dribbling water out and made the shower very slow. The taps were also incorrect the H and C was on the wrong taps so I was using H water when I wanted C.

Location was good. Ability to eat and drink other than breakfast, which wasn’t provided.

The staircase to the bedroom was steep as was described but the foot of the stair turned at a 90’ angle.

Very nice friendly place to stay, it was just an overnight stay as we attended a friends 90th birthday party. we was met by very friendly staff and although the room was small it was ok for what we needed. I would recommend that you stop here if in the area.

As a pub venue it was nice with everything you would expect from a pub

Stairs are so steep you have to use sideways or you fall, shower pan was slippery and dangerous even dry, shower head didnt work correctly, shower drain didnt drain so water over flowed plus little bits of mould on tiles

I thought the rooms were in the main building, not in the rear outbuildings

The service from the pub was excellent, a superb selection of ales and clear instructions for essential information. Free parking ( limited spaces). Great for an overnight stay. We were happy to have ground floor access. Lovely breakfast

The sink was slightly blocked my partner found so I washed in the shower. It wasn't a massive inconvenience. Room on the small side and could hear the activities of the occupants above

Flip side of being a pub room was the noise. We were in a room opposite a very large party who were having loads of fun but naturally because of it were noisy. Stopped by about 11.30pm.

Clean and freshly decorated room. Quiet and comfortable! V cute pub dog!

Good walking distance to the town centre. Bedding and towels were clean.

Shabby, very steep stairs to the accommodation. Room was very small and had a worn-out, cheap feel about it. The pillow was very uncomfortable .

The location was decent for our journey, and the food at the restaurant was okay. Pricey, especially with a 2poundnmeasly slice of bread,.

The room was so small you could barely get in past the door with a small luggage. The bathroom door could not open all the way—it had to wedge into the bed. And maneuvering around the bed was a gauntlet to hope to not stub a toe on a bed post.

I chose the location as it was close to The Waterside Inn

Ideally situated for river walks, walks to the town centre and the station. Meals are very good and staff are always helpful and friendly.

Local to where I was volunteering. Excellent food in the evening (best nachos EVER!). Friendly and helpful staff. Superb selection of beers. Ground floor room.

Wi-Fi was a bit flaky in bedroom. First room I had did not have bedside lamp. Usual complicated and unmarked shower taps. Room had beer garden one side, and car park the other - not possible to have windows open and still sleep.

Location was good, close to local shops and of course a pub below for a drink. Fan was a plus

1) Not to much you can do about the stairs but there massively steep and made it difficult to get upstairs with a dog. 2)Toilet and Shower was dirty

the shower did not work well the mattress had not been rotated often enough, so it was not really comfortable to sleep in

Great location and parking. Very friendly staff. Beautiful bed linen and towels!! Much nicer than some much more expensive hotels I have stayed in. Big bathroom.

Awful shower, lukewarm/cold, and literal drizzle of water.. A bedside lamp would be good rather than just a central light that you have to get out of bed to switch on/off

Comfortable bed

Door didn’t have a lock and didn’t appear to close properly had quite a gap which meant I didn’t feel safe. The bolt on the inside had been removed.

The bed was comfortable though there was a slug on the duvet.

The room is very small and outdated. The bathroom needs ripping out, the shower water flow was weak there was no hot water. The show and sink had black mould, the extractor fan didn't work. There was no shower mat and the shower was slippery when getting out, which isn't great when your freezing cold! There is no reception and the staff inside the pub, dismiss any issues with the accommodation claiming it's separate despite them issuing the keys. Check out maybe difficult if you need to leave early for work as the pub is locked until 10am making it impossible to return the key. If staying on the ground floor be aware that there is alot of floorboard moving and noise from the upper floor. When we stayed the fence in the carpark was down, a member of staff had to hold it up for me to enable me to park, the only problem with this was the following morning when I had to leave at 8am nobody was available to assist in leaving. "Major breach of health and safety" I complained through booking.com for some form of compensation they said the accommodation refused and as a gesture of goodwill booking.com gave me 13 pounds, what a joke!

The staff were lovely. We had a really warm welcome on arrival and it was a painless check in. We also had dinner in the pub and it was delish.

The bed has a memory foam mattress which felt like a valley of lumps. Sound from the room above was distracting (although it was quite fun trying to guess what the occupiers were doing).

It was close to a gym and a coffee shop so I could have a shower and us the WiFi there because the shower was cold and slow at the hotel and the wifi did not work in my room and I had no phone signal

Shower was cold and slow pressure. Window handle was broke and the window would not open, wi fi did not work in my room and I had no phone signal. I used a local gym to have shower. Staff could not help with any of the issue and said they would raise it with the manager the next day. It was only a one night stay so that was no good for me.

Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, blisko do Slough i do Windsor. Pub który oferuje dobre jedzenie i drinki w rozsądnej cenie.

Wysokie schody do pokoju, które były bardzo niebezpieczne. Pokój brudny, podłoga bardzo zakurzona, jak postawiłam plecak na podłodze to był cały w kurzu. Łazienka - podłoga bardzo brudna zwłaszcza za drzwiami, woda w prysznicu zimna/ letnia. Lusterko na drzwiach bardzo brudne- smugi, brak wieszaków do zawieszenia ręczników czy płaszcza. Filiżanki do kawy i łyżeczki bardzo brudne.

The venue, was great if you like good beer and decent food!

Parking was a little tight. The room was a little musty, damp and dark. It also needed a deep clean.

Lovely pub, and food, and the location suited us really well.

Extremely steep stairs to the room and really not very clean at all- linen and towels were clean. The shower hardly let any water out it was clogged up with limescale. Windows frames black with mould-really only a good clean needed!

Good position for walking in to Maidenhead with bus stops close by. Room nice and warm and with good size TV. Decaf coffee. Very quiet even though public house next door. Free parking off road round the back.

The room 3 we stayed in could do with a refresh, water on floor in bathroom after shower. Extractor fan dirty and not working. Toilet seat loose and fitted wrong as slid one side to the other. Bed been repaired on legs. No mattress protector or pillow protector. Bolt on door not fully fitted with screws not tightened. Mold on bathroom blind.

Very comfortable rooms in a quiet location. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the pub is very atmospheric. Great value for money.

The room. Bathroom floor was dirty. Shower line scaled and water came out only from the middle. Lino was dirty/moldy around the shower and floor was dirty around the toilet

The rooms are dreadful. This would not pass as a cheap student accommodation. The mattress must have been changed just after the war. The shower head doesn’t look as if it’s been cleaned in decades.

The breakfast was great. Extra to cost of room. But really tasty. I had an all day muffin and partner had a build your own. The pub next to accommodation was lovely great staff. Good beer. Sunday roast and other foods available till 9pm. Lovely
