some parts in the room were missing cleanliness. Still at an acceptable level for the price I pay.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026excellent location in Georgetown. Amazing value for money. Staff on whatsapp are really lovely and easy to speak to/sort out luggage store. Check in process really easy. Good shower (important for backpackers!). We were only one night so can’t comment on facilities but they don’t claim to have things that they don’t. Good shop next door.
We were having a relaxing evening and the tv didnt work, not a major issue but would have been good for some noise. One towel was stained with make up, doesn’t majorly bother me as I know make up is difficult to get out!

Super slow or no wifi. No hot water for showers, just luke warm. Also weak pressure. Room located with a public patio outside my window and I felt uneasy/unsafe as a solo female traveller.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026The biggest advantage is its excellent location—it's within walking distance of many of George Town's famous attractions, street food, and the ferry terminal, making it a convenient base for exploring Penang.
One thing to note is that soundproofing could be improved - can hear neighbouring guest, hallway and street noise quite easily.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Fantastic location, right next to little India, the ferry terminal, and major heritage streets. Very good for those travelling by train. The ferry terminal is also a major bus destination, so you can easily go around the island on the cheap.

Reviewed May 22, 2026It's nearby to some attraction and eateries. Walking distance to Ferry Terminal and easy access to public transportation. Beds were cozy and we slept soundly after walking around town.
Our room furniture arrangement could be better in order to have space for prayers and walking around in the room.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Der Check-In erfolgte kontaktlos. Die Infos erhielt man dazu über Whatsapp und waren leicht verständlich. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, aber ohne Fenster. Darauf wird man bei der Buchung aber hingewiesen. Die Lage ist seht gut und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar.

Reviewed Apr 4, 2026Really good location, walking distance from the sights around but need to take grab or taxi to get to penang hill or temple. Had a water filling station in the lobby which was great for hot days.
When we arrived the room had not been cleaned properly and there was hair all over the floor but the staff were amazing and we were happy to clean it again. The worst part was the smell, unrecognisable but smelled of burning. Other guests agreed that they could smell it and were unhappy too.
