Central location. Adequate and clean facilities

Extremely rude and unhelpful reception. I asked for an adapter for Malaysia plug from a male receptionist, while he was watching taplet. He looked irritated and just carelessly picked one adapter. It turned out that the adapter was incompatible ( not 3 flat square prongs), so I went to see him again. However, this time he was even more displeased by disrupting his watching tablet and grumpily said “ you need to buy outside “. I didn’t mind buying a new one if the receptionist cared more to look at a few more available adapters behind his desk or nicely said to me.

Buena ubicación. Incluye un desayuno muy sencillo de pan, mermelada y mantequilla. Por el precio que pagas, no puedes pedir mucho más.

Falta de limpieza. Nos encontramos una cucaracha en el baño de la habitación. Caía agua del techo del baño. Al aire acondicionado le faltaba limpieza y mantenimiento.

Nada. Es penoso, estaba sucio, viejo, estropeado... da miedo.

Todo. No llegamos a dormir, nos tuvimos que buscar un alojamiento alternativo. Estaba lleno de mosquitos, sucio y muy estropeado.

La ubicación.

Me quedé en una habitación compartida con mujeres. El baño estaba poco cuidado, la habitación olía mal, dejaban a los demás huéspedes comer dentro y no tenía ventilación. Lo qué más me molestó fue que me quitaron mis sandalias para la ducha y no me ofrecieron ninguna solución. Ni si quiera me tuvieron en cuenta.

Sehr günstig, aber leider nicht empfehlenswert – besonders für alleinreisende Frauen Das Hostel ist zwar sehr günstig und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind grundsätzlich nett, aber ich habe mich während meines Aufenthalts leider sehr unwohl und teilweise unsicher gefühlt. Im Dorm und allgemein im Hostel gibt es an mehreren Stellen deutlich sichtbaren dunklen bzw. schwarzen Schimmel. Teilweise war es außerdem ziemlich dreckig. Besonders problematisch war jedoch ein Vorfall in der Dusche: In einer der Duschen gab es Löcher, durch die man hineinschauen konnte. Während meines Aufenthalts wurde tatsächlich in meine Dusche geschaut. Als ich darauf hingewiesen habe, dass ich mich dadurch sehr unwohl und unsicher fühle, wurde leider keine angemessene Lösung angeboten. Die Löcher wurden lediglich anschließend zugeklebt. Ansonsten wurde nichts weiter unternommen und auch ein Entgegenkommen in Form eines Rabatts oder einer anderen Lösung gab es nicht. Mir wurde stattdessen sinngemäß gesagt, dass man nichts machen könne, weil die Person nicht eindeutig zu erkennen gewesen sei. Gerade als alleinreisende Frau fühlt man sich nach so einem Vorfall besonders unwohl. Für mich ist es daher definitiv nicht empfehlenswert für Solo Female Traveller, insbesondere weil nach einem solchen Vorfall meiner Meinung nach viel konsequenter hätte reagiert werden müssen. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr einfach: Toast mit Butter und Käse sowie Tee – mehr gibt es praktisch nicht. Im Dorm selbst gibt es außerdem kaum Platz. Wenn man sein Handy laden möchte, muss man eine Klappe öffnen, was ziemlich umständlich ist. Besonders enttäuschend war auch die Möglichkeit, nasse Kleidung draußen aufzuhängen. Man muss zunächst die Rezeption fragen, damit die Wäscheleine geöffnet wird. Am nächsten Tag wurde leider nicht darauf geachtet, dass es draußen regnet, sodass meine Sachen am Abreisetag komplett nass waren. Noch dazu befindet sich die Wäscheleine direkt über einer Leitung bzw.

La camera "matrimoniale superior con vista" non aveva vista, era sporca, piccola, rumorosa con rumori provenienti sia da strada che dai bagni all'interno dell'hotel. Colazione inclusa offriva un toast con burro. Letto sporchi. Camera piena di insetti.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Georges Town.

Bruyant, peu confortable et à propreté laissant à désirer. Personnel très désagréable (pas la dame mais les messieurs). Le petit déjeuner est d’un ridicule absolu, il est là juste pour permettre d’augmenter le tarif de la chambre mais la vérité c’est que si vous ne demandez pas, il est vide ou presque, il reste quelques restes si vous êtes chanceux. Et lorsque vous le réclamer, on vous l’apporte, sans sourire et en soupirant bien sûre mais il est de très très mauvaise qualité (tartines, beurre, pastèque) le tout dans une vaisselle sale.

The location is good, right on the street, so it's very noisy when you're sitting there with a cup of coffee or tea.

Bed bugs — I was badly bitten and saw them in the bed. Unprofessional, rude service (it's quite rare to see such terrible service).

The location is fantastic. The staffs are friendly. They provide a complimentary breakfast consisting of bread, butter, jam, fruits, tea and coffee. There are other guests in the hostel; so, you can talk with them when you are in the front lobby.

There is no lift. So, if you are staying upstairs,you need to walk up the stairs. However, it is understandable for a budget hostel.

Room had only 4 beds; I requested and received a lower berth. Strong ac in the room. A nice lockable compartment right above the bed, plus some shelves; hooks in the room for hanging clothes. A limited but adequate free breakfast. Staff were super nice and helpful. Location perfect for exploring the old quarter.

Showers a little funky but no big deal really.

Female dorms was safe for me. Both lady receptionist was helpful and understanding.

Breakfast only using the same white bread everyday. The wholemeal or whole grain bread would taste nicer with butter and jam. Example; Massimo green packet bread is wholemeal bread. The butter is actually 'marjerin'...it is not 'butter'. I suggest to use brand "Buttercup" butter is cheaper and healthier than using marjerin butter which not for health. I'm only suggesting and i'm not complaining. Thank you for your good service.

Near free bus stop.traval to komtar, ferry to and from Butterworth, Penang Sentral.

Both the female receptionist Alice and the malay lady was kind, respectful and understanding of my request.

I'm suggesting to have a long wall mirror in the female dormitory. I had to walk in and out of the room many times to use the mirrors outside the bathrooms. Long wall mirror is needed when wearing long dresses. So, we can admire ourselves during changing and wearing our dresses.

ロケーションが良い。フェリーターミナルから徒歩圏内で無料循環バスキャットのセントジョージバス停のすぐそば。両替所が同じ通りのすぐそばに多数ある（7〜8軒？）トイレ、シャワーが複数あった。ドライヤーがあるのが良かった。入口が開放されており朝夕通りを眺めることができる。内装がレトロで趣がある。

エアコンが稼動してないのが残念。 深夜にチェックインしてきた中国人が大声でしゃべり床を踏み鳴らし、荷物を狭い床の真ん中に置き暗い中トイレに行く時つまづいた。彼のマナーの悪さにうんざりした。

Qualité / prix c’est très correct. J’avais une chambre privée et c’était très bien. L’auberge est bien située et proche des centres d’intérêts. Le personnel est très gentil et la réception est ouverte 24h/24h.

Le petit déjeuner est léger (tartines, café, thé). Quelques tâches sur les draps et serviettes. Comme c’est une auberge il faut s’attendre à entendre un peu de bruit quand il y a du passage.

Stinky and moisture on the walls as other side of the wall are toilets from every time you can hear the sound of water pipe from toilet. So annoyed when you sleep. All of sudden in the midnight or any time in the night you can hear the sound of water pipe for continuous noisy. You can’t sleep well, Bed has bugs I am not sure how to call them those are black color go in your furniture and spread of more and more. Very dangerous. I complaint about water Pipe at the reception woman name is ‘ALICE’. First of all about her behaviour is so rude and no idea of what is the meaning of hospitality and how to treat to a guest. While complaining to her, she said this is hostel and cheap, so ?? as she showed me that I never stayed in the hostels and why we can’t give you feedback what is wrong here. When my friend ask me about this issue, I was explaining to him, she start to tell me rudely, you can change your room but I will not give you lower bed, so I had no option to change because I have issue in my leg I couldn’t change it to upper bed in another room. She said you are not allowed to speak to other anyone???? What’s that mean, she spoke very rude and made me more frustrated from this hostel. One day prior they had issue with another Chinese couple where they removed their bags in the day time from the room and they opened their room from spare keys without their presence. So I will see this Red inn hostel is Red flag for travellers. I am posting pictures about breakfast as they removed at 10:25 though 10:30 am is breakfast time. Also watermelon they count how much people are taking and they never have watermelon available for breakfast.

I don't get the low rating! Aircon works good, they work hard to make sure there's no mold. If there used to be, it's because people leave wet stuff in the rooms. There is NONE now. Breakfast is simple but free. Free clean towels you can have 1 a day! Enough shower facilities. Location is terrific.

Not a social hostel and fruit with the breakfast quickly runs out. Rooms are a bit small.

L'escalier menant à la chambre est difficile à monter plus il faut laisser ses chaussures en bas et monter pieds nus. Il y a souvent du bruit à cause de l'utilisation de la salle de bains commune qui se trouve à côté de notre chambre. La chambre est petite et il n'y a nulle part où ranger ses vêtements,...

It was the 1st time experiencing bunker bed with strangers, it was good experience. Toilet was clean, room was cozy and bed was comfortable, too good for the bunker bed price.

La habitación se caía a pedazos. Estaba sucia. Se escucha muchísimo el ruido de las otras habitaciones y de la calle. El baño era compartido y también siempre estaba sucio, no lo limpiaba seguido. Les mandé mensajes desde antes y no me respondieron. El desayuno muy precario, no fue nada barato por lo poco que daban y las condiciones del alojamiento.

Sehr zentral, alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr nettes Personal. Und trotzdem ruhig.

It was dirty like they were trying to hide it not doing a good job. When i open the curatin to my bunk the comforter was folded in however the bed sheet is really dirty so many food spill(i think) it was awful. Like yes u were cheap but cleanliness is BASIC

Very great location. Near the Armenian Street and Little India Street. They also provide fresh towels by request.

Shower Room. The shower room's entirety needs improvement. It looks dirty due to the wall and floor. Too cramped and not much space to put your towel or fresh clothes on. Shower head needs replacement and cleaning. They also don't allow indoor slippers in the room that I had no choice but to walk barefoot from shower to room as they'll call you out. It's unsanitary. Bedroom. I am situated at the top bunk bed it's disappointing that there is only one ladder for two bunk beds with no handle at all. I sometimes trip due to this. Bed sheet seems like not being replaced every after user. Socket is inside the small cabinet you have to open it every time you want to use it.

Die Lage des Hostels ist gut

Leider nicht so sauber - sowohl das Bett als auch der Rest des Zimmers. Wir hatten Bettwanzen im Zimmer und haben dann problemlos für eine Nacht ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Danach sollten wir angeblich wieder in das alte Zimmer zurück, was wir nicht wollten, weshalb wir einen Aufpreis für ein anderes Zimmer zahlen mussten. Allerdings war unser altes Zimmer trotzdem nicht nutzbar, was den Aufpreis für das andere Zimmer nicht ganz rechtfertigt. Bei unserer Nachfrage wurden wir unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass wir nicht in das Zimmer zurück wollten und deshalb selbst schuld seien.

1. 交通方便，出门吃饭、散步都是走几步就到；2. 早上8:30-10:30提供简单早餐，面包、西瓜、咖啡、茶，可以坐在一楼大厅慢慢吃；3. 洗浴间和厕所是干湿分离的，且总计有六间，一般不会产生排队的情况；4.提供浴巾、洗发水、沐浴露，日常个人清洁可以完全满足；5. 工作人员非常友善，预定时说明了需要女生房间，入住时也分到了女生房间，非常感谢🙏。

1. 比较老的建筑，木地板隔音很差，楼上的脚步声可以很清晰的听见；2. 房间和公共区域比较狭窄。

Location, Many options for food around. Everything nearby walking 5-15 minutes, Breakfast was just ok but enough. Cats but they was nice cats. Staff was good & polite. Komtar Bus terminal, 15 minutes easy walk. Budget traveler, solo traveler best option for them.

I stay there 04-07/12 3 nights or 4 days. But they doesn’t change bad sheets. Towels can change everyday. And there was in my room a person disturb all night and day bad number B, he switch off fans, air-con, even room air purifier also. All night, afternoon disturb. Go out never close door. Cough all nights. But it’s not fault of Property.

I really like the vibe, the decor, and the greenery outside the front door. This kind of vibe can easily make one feel like home. I miss it. The facilities are old but clean. Showers and toilets are in separate cubicles, which is good. The staff are friendly. Being able to get a simple breakfast at the beginning of the day is a huge plus for me (toast + jam/butter + watermelon + coffee/tea). I especially like that there is a shelf on each bed, with a small locker for valuables (you can put your laptop inside, but bags cannot fit in). There is some small space in between buildings on the ground floor where you can hang clothes and they dry quickly.

Poor ventilation in the dorm. The windows are all sealed with non-removable plastic sheets, and it is a very small room, with mold spots on the ceiling, I can smell the dampness when the air-con is off. All these made me concerned about the air quality, though to be fair I did not actually feel unwell during my 3-night stay. I think they are to some extent aware of it, as an air purifier is placed in the room. This may be a minor issue for others: when I stay in the common area, every time someone smokes outside, I can smell some of it due to the inward airflow.
