Couldn’t park outside the lodge either not enough spaces for the amount of guests staying or possibly golfers using those spaces

Furniture in room needs upgrade. No bedside cabinet on one side of bed in room 7, had to use narrow window ledge for bits and pieces. Restaurant not open for 2 of our 4 nights.

Room was very hot and stuffy, there wasn’t a shower, just a shower head to the side of the bath, which wasn’t easy to sit or kneel in the bath to wash and wash hair. This wasn’t in the details

We enjoyed the short walk into town and the quiet. We also made good use of the pool and spa. The breakfasts were of very food quality and filling enough for the day.

I was not overly impressed with the shower in the spa, I believe it needs a water flow increase.

I really enjoyed my stay here, very clean, staff were friendly, food was delicious, spa was great, plenty of parking and overall a really nice setting. Close to Bournemouth beach and the shops too.

The only thing I’d like to mention is the shower didn’t work can’t remember which room we were in (Tuesday night). Forgot to mention on way out yesterday. Apart from that I was very happy with everything and would stay here again.

The Lodge ist super schön gelegen - weitläufig im Grünen und fußläufig zum Strand oder ins Stadtzentrum. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Wir haben das Lodge gebucht, weil uns die Möglichkeit, das Schwimmbad zu nutze, sehr angesprochen hat. The Lodge gehört zu einem privaten exklusiven Golf- und Sportclub, aber uns hat es enttäuscht! Das Schwimmbad ist ungepflegt insbesondere im Duschbereich. Die Duschen müssten mal ausführlich gereinigt werden (Schimmel in den Ecken). Die Duschbrausen sind altbacken wie in einem öffentlichen Schwimmbad in den 1980er Jahren. Die Möblierung im Hotelzimmer ist abgenutzt und müsste erneuert werden. Das Toilettenpapier ist billig - dünnlagig!

Frühstück und Gästehaus an sich waren schön

Um zum Zimmer zu gelangen, musste man vom Parkplatz eine steile Treppe nutzen, was für mobilitätseingeschränkte Reisende sehr beschwerlich ist. Außerdem gab es vom Zimmer aus nichts zu sehen, dafür die nahegelegene Schnellstraße zu hören. Nach Bezahlung des Abendessens verschwand der Koch. Essen gab es keines mehr, das Geld wurde erstattet. Eine andere Verpflegungsmöglichkeit gab es nicht.

Had a fabulous stay to attend a local event with friends. Quiet comfortable room. Great setting. Lots of treese. Lovely helpful friendly staff. Use of absolutely brilliant pool and spa facilities, which i had virtually to myself. A very enjoyable stay all round. Highly recommended.

Location is really nice. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Use of the gym and other facilities is a really great addition. Gym is well equipped and not overly busy which is exactly what I wanted. Breakfast was really tasty, ordering fresh from the menu.

The room I had was ground floor, without air conditioning, and during a heatwave I really wanted to be able to open the window and have good airflow, however it didn't feel very private because of this. Continental breakfast options a little limited.

Requested an upper room and got a basement one . Mattress was 2 singles made into a double so very uncomfortable. Round pin plugs on beside table lamps . Toilet seat not aligned with toilet . Leak under basin . People could look in when walking past the room . TV on wrong wall also heated towel rail was on wrong wall and difficult to sit on toilet seat . That was room 15 and would not book this lodge again .

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The location is also much closer to town than we realised. Finally, it’s a lovely green, foresty space which is calming.

The rooms are a bit tired, but very clean and good quality linens. Road noise was an issue when trying to sleep with the windows open in the heat, but it’s a gentle hum that you get used to.

The accommodation was appalling. We were provided with a non ventilated non airconditioned superior double room at the top of the house. It faced south. The temperature in the room was about 30C and it was humid. A small was useless. The management either would not or could not change our room. My wife and I are in our late 70s and the conditions were such that we were obliged to leave the intolerable conditions in the room the first night and left to travel home. We could not stay the second night of our booking and the management refused a refund. I would never stay there again. Dr & Mrs Michael Powers

This golf and leisure centre has a lodge with 17 rooms, situated near trees, nice and quiet in the evening. We had a standard room, which was quite warm, the window can only open a little way, but the bed was comfortable, there was quality coffee and tea in the room, and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Twice a day we went for a swim, sauna and jacuzzi, all spotlessly clean and not too busy. We had 2 evening meals in the bar that were fine, only complaint that the meals should have been hotter. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very tasty. All staff very friendly and kind

We stayed for a birthday getaway which we were provided with a couple of free drinks and a birthday card which was an unexpected touch! The property is beautiful hidden gem in Bournemouth town. The swimming pool was lovely, with the jacuzzi and sauna being a nice touch. The club house dinner and breakfast was wonderful. Super easy to park a car here, and that it is free to park was a wonderful bonus. The staff were faultless and helped with a great experience before during and after visiting. Staff even assisted with returning a forgotten item in the room. Definitely would come back!

Staying in room 1 while being tall people was an adjustment not to hit your head on beams/doors but this was the only fault. The room was a lovely overall size.

The lodge is in a great location with amazing on site facilities. All the staff were super friendly and the rooms were so clean and full of the essentials. It was 30 degrees and the rooms had no A/C but were not hot at all. The fan in the room was perfect when sleeping under the covers in the evening. Would definitely stay again!

Modern comfort in the lodge rooms- clean, modern bathroom, well equipped bedroom and quiet. Lovely health club facilities- large gym and great size pool, staff were very helpful and friendly and good choice of breakfast items. Will definitely return and stay longer

Run down, dated rooms with old furnishings. Room smelt of drains and sewerage. Really lovely surroundings until you step into the room. Luke on reception is the best thing about this venue.

Reception staff were very pleasant

The accommodation was very bad. It was the top of the building (no lift). Heat in the room overnight was 28C+ and very humid. There was no air conditioning and worse, the small windows of the south facing room had very limited opening. It was impossible to sleep and the staff were not able to provide alternative accommodation. In the end we left at 04.00 as it was intolerable and we cancelled the second night we had booked. The hotel refused a refund even of only the second night despite the conditions. We would not stay at this place again

This location was perfect for our needs. The club house was welcoming and the food was first rate and reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly.

The Lodge is part of a leisure club, and we were able to use all the facilities throughout the days we were there - even after check-out. That included pool, spa, excellent gym, classes, and golf. All this is just a few minutes walk from Bournemouth town centre. Staff were very welcoming, and breakfast was good.

Our upper floor room was in the eaves, which meant there was no space for a walk-in shower. That's the only reason to mark down our stay. We'll definitely stay again but I'd enquire about getting a downstairs room with shower.

We arrived late due to the Poole ferry and was greeted with locked doors and a very dark driveway up to the lodge. The night porter did his best though.

We booked this mainly as we were looking for free parking and a gym. The gym exceeded all expectations, being part of the Meyrick Park Golf Club. Good breakfast with choice of cooked meal plus buffet of fruit, cereals, yogurt etc.

The room was a bit small and we requested a change of room as, while it felt like we were in the middle of the countryside, there was quite a bit of traffic noise from our original room.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice. Staff were so helpful and lovely. Lovely pool.

Biggest disappointment was the breakfast - the smoked salmon was about one dessertspoon of trimmings on a piece of toast! The pool was lovely but it would have been useful to have a member of staff on duty to stop a very amorous couple in the hot tub!

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms were clean and well-stocked with tea, coffee etc. The bathroom was very clean and felt newly renovated. It was good value.

The exteriors of of the Lodge are quite drab, worn and unappealing. I think they are in need of refurbishment to feel more modern or at least less old fashioned and neglected.

Breakfast wasn't the best Continental choices where minimal Hot breakfast was to order but was cold on arrival & toast was warm bread even though we asked for it well done Unfortunately the chef was ill and had gone home so no evening meal available Had paid for superior room in Lodge It wasn't anything special small bathroom with over bath shower The shower screen door didn't open had to climb in to run the bath and get in again to turn off before bathing. The tile grout at this end of the bath was grubby obviously the staff have a similar problem when cleaning Could do with refurb

A very comfortable room with excellent facilities, including a sauna, swimming pool and steam room. Just a short stroll from a sandy beach, and perfectly placed for beautiful coastal hikes.

Very quiet room with a lovely view into the surrounding woods. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable.

The club house with it’s fabulous facilities where such a bonus. We all loved the swimming pool. The sleeping accommodation is quite dated but perfect for a few days. Extremely comfortable beds and modern bathroom . Everywhere cleaned to an exceptionally high standard

Limited parking in front of the lodge. However there's a big car park nearby. Would recommend check in (there's a parking space in front of the reception) , return to the lodge, which is a different building, drop the baggages and park the car after that.

The rooms were good although parkining is a bit spread out. The facilities are also good, with the inclusion of the gym and pool a bonus. We didn't play the golf course as we were booked to play other courses, but it looked very inviting and well maintained. The breakfast experience was thoughly enjoyable on both days and the staff were genrally good to excellent.

We were late arriving on our first night, but inside restaurant hours, but had issues ordering food and then with delivery. The service was generally poor and affected not only us but other customers as well. The restaurant manager was apologetic and explained that they were operating with a temporary chef. They then shut the restaurant for the second night of our stay but we'd already decided to walk into town, which is only 15 minutes.

Set in beautiful grounds the location is perfect for us. A few minutes drive from the West Hants Tennis club where my husband was playing in a tournament and a twenty minute walk from Bournemouth beach. We love the facilities and use the swimming pool, gym and classes are available but unfortunately never time to fit those in! Staff are always helpful friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good and service always with a smile! The executive double is very comfortable and overlooking the golf course.

We had a really enjoyable stay at The Lodge at Meyrick Park and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The room was clean, spacious, and very well presented, with an exceptionally comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff struck the perfect balance—bright, welcoming, and friendly, while never being overly intrusive. The leisure facilities were a real highlight. The pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi were all excellent, and it was a genuine bonus to be encouraged to make full use of them throughout each day of our stay without any restriction. Another plus was the location. The walk into Bournemouth was short and enjoyable, offering a pleasant route into town. Overall, a relaxing and thoroughly positive experience.
