Bunk Hotel Amsterdam

Loved the quirkiness of the Bunk. The staff are super friendly and the overall ambience is very relaxing. Very close to the Metro which was one stop from Centraal Station. Perfect introduction to our first visit to Amsterdam. Comfy bed, and a good restaurant (which was great for staying in on a very wet and windy night).

Nothing I didn't like. Alll good.

Hostel original vu le bâtiment d'origine. Personnel tres serviable. Bar intérieur mais sans bruit. Les pods sont confortables et bien faits, douche pratique avec un espace pour ses affaires et demi cloison pour qu'elles soient au sec, métro à proximité

Le prix reste très élevé pour des pods et plus que d'autres endroits qui sont identiques en services.

The shelves in the bedroom were in a poor location. Kept banging our heads on them. Ouch!

Great location 10 mins walking distance from Metro 52 or 15 mins walking to free Ferry to Centraal. Clean showers, free toiletries, towels and bed linen. Great on site restaurant and bar with great burgers. Great staff. Stayed in a lower pod. note upper pods are very high up and you will need to climb a ladder.

when busy pod rooms get noisy even after curfew, and curtains on pods dont block sound or all of the light. Avoid the pods if light sleeper.

El check out era a las 11:00 me demoré y a las 11y15 estaba saliendo de la habitación pues a las 11y5 tenia a una chica de recepción picandome a la puerta para el check out . Lo hubiese entendido si era personal de limpieza pero era de recepción vestida con ropa de callr que no sabes si es trabajadora o no. Nunca me habia pasado en ningun otro hotel ni en hostal .

Parking for the car was 22 euros a day. The room did not have a window.

Дуже цікаве місце. Само по собі - це арт обєкт. До парома ходили пішки і в день і в ночі. Паром на другу сторону безкоштовний. Платна парковка біля готелю за шлагбаумом. В нашому номері була хороша звукоізоляція. Привітний персонал. Розслаблена атмосфера.

The staff were friendly, although check in and out was so self explanatory we didnt actually talk to anyone. Room was just what we needed space-wise, it was comfortable and good value for money. Great space for crashing if you plan to spend of your time exploring the city.

As other reviews point out, the room got pretty hot as the air con didnt do much. Also the shower and toilet turned into a wet room so we put the bath mat to mop up the floor. The privacy of the bathroom left little to the imagination. Thankfully myself and my husband have been together for 10+ years but still the frosted glass and gap between the closed toilet door and the bed space meant we turned the other way and played music because we still want a bit of mystery.

The pods are excellent and feel very private, cool building, cool decor, great facilities!

Saalprust was er niet. Geen voldoende ruimte voor even zitten en met laptop je werk doen. De enige restaurant die er is was bedoeld voor algemene publiek en vaak ook bezet als je niet vooraf reserveert.

Odalar baya kucuk, ve cam acilmiyor havalandirma zayıf. Biz otelde 2 gece konakladik, daha uzun konaklamalar icin ben tercih etmezdim. Fiyat fayda dengesinde olumlu ancak romantik oldugunu soyleyemem.

La estancia en si, el edificio y todo lo que tiene. Además de estar muy bien decorado y de tener contrastes de estilo que lo hacen único, es muy original.

En las duchas de la parte de los PODS faltaba algo de limpieza. Las papeleras llenas siempre y todo mojado por ser unas duchas para tanta gente.

Die Lage. Paar Minuten zur u Bahn oder Fähre. Anbindung gut. Auto konnten wir für 22 Euro am Tag auf Parkplatz direkt daneben abstellen. Frühstück war gut. Konnten bei dem "mit" Frühstück unter 5-6 verschiedenen auswählen. Kann aber auch sonst ohne gebuchtes Frühstück dort nach Karte bestellen. Die Zimmer funktionell eingerichtet. War mal was anderes.... Personal sehr nett.

Nicht gefallen kann man nicht sagen... Da kann Hotel nichts dafür. Nachts alleine zurück hätte ich persönlich bisschen Bammel sind schon "komische Leute" unterwegs. Aber ist vermutlich bei anderen Unterkünften hier auch so.

Logements très originaux, très très belle réhabilitation d'une ancienne chapelle. Équipements propres, neufs et confortables. Déco atypique et onirique.

We waited to get into the car park for a long time, even though the staff told us they would open it once we called. Staff is poorly reachable by phone. Airconditioning in hot days works poorly.

I like the "hominess" of the location, yes a church, unbelievable. The warm colors and fascinating architecture. Felt like a home, not a standard, business hotel. Close to the city center by train, approximately 10 minutes.

The staff did not listen to my requests clearly, such as: "I would like to re book the room". Instead a whole new form was brought onto the screen when the information was already available. The staff member found my previous booking. The lighting in the pod rooms is not optimal. I had to walk to where the lighting was good to dress myself.

Camera troppo piccola, claustrofobica. Piccole finestre non apribili.Rifanno le camere ogni 3 giorni senza dirlo prima. Manca ascigamano viso, mani. Colazione non a buffet con eventuali aggiuntea pagamento (anche solo una fetta di pane).

The mattress was very very firm. First couple of nights, didnt get much sleep. Would have preferred a bit more privacy in the bathroom. Open glass walls weren't to our taste.

Avendo dormito nella camerata con pod, si viene svegliati a svariate ore per le sveglie. Sarebbe consigliabile silenziarle tempestivamente per non disturbare altri e soprattutto portarsi il telefono con sé quando si và in bagno per evitare che risuoni per tempo prolungato nella camerata.

The pods was very comfortable and we have the privacy that we needed. The bathroom and the shower were cleaned and the personnal was also very nice. The architectur was very original. We like our stay there. The quality/price was good for a stay in a big city like Amsterdam.

The wifi connexion was not very good in pods and the location was a little bit to far away from the city center because you needed to take a ferry to go to the hostel. But other than that everything was very good.

The breakfast ingredients were good quality and delicious. Friendly staff. The beds were comfortable enough. The spaces were clean. The common spaces were beautiful and cozy. Wood everywhere.

The breakfast was not buffet, so protein is limited to one egg and one slice of ham. Overall, you get full but I would have liked to have more protein. If you are in the upper bed of the bunk, it's quite hard to get in and out. I'm a 30 year old athletic person, and it was hard for me. If you have limited mobility, stay away from the upper bed.

Pekne, zajimave misto, v byvalem kostele. Ciste, moderni, neobvykle. Na pokoji jsme meli silene horko, personal nam vysel vstric, nabidli nam moznost prerusit ubytovani a vratili nam penize.

Jsem ubytovani bez okna ktere by slo otevrit, na pokoji bylo tak 30 stupnu a klimatizace nestihala. Vedle ubytovani je nejsks ubytovna, pohybuji se tam divne individua..

Everything was perfect. The breakfast os amazing and even the restaurant didn not disapoint. Near the free ferry for central Amsterdam, it is a wonderful place to Stay.

La particolarità della struttura in sé. La prima volta che soggiornavo in una chiesa sconsacrata. Ottima pulizia della struttura. Ottima cortesia ed efficienza di tutto lo staff. A 5 minuti a piedi c’è la stazione della metro che ad una fermata arriva alla stazione centrale, comodissima.

Le camere un po’ piccole e senza finestre che le rendono un po’ claustrofobiche.

Very good location and great prices for the weekend stay. Metro is 7min walk or 10min down to the free ferry. Very clean and tidy. Very respectful other guests even during a very busy and lively pride weekend.

Pods were warm but it was in the middle of a heat wave so cant complain.

Super freundliches Personal, alles war immer sauber, mega lecker Essen und tolle leckere Drinks, man brauchte kein Shampoo, duschgel und so weil es vorhanden war und ich fand es roch toll..

MEHR oder generell Sicherheitspersonal einstellen, da mir gleich bei Ankunft mein gesamtes Gepäck gestohlen wurde oder dann die check in /out Zeiten ändern. Sicherheitspersonal wäre auch gut für die obdachlosen, die da immer wieder rumlaufen und betteln.

De stijl en sfeer in het hotel zijn geweldig, veel te zien, leuk ingericht. Ontbijt en diner waren uitermate goed. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, en veelvuldig aanwezig.

De eerste kamer die we toegewezen kregen had helaas een verstopte afvoer, waardoor de badkamer overliep. Na overleg met de receptie hebben we een andere kamer toegewezen gekregen, helaas was deze net afgekit (zure, chemische lucht). Helaas kunnen de ramen niet open, dus deze niet kunnen luchten.

Die Lage ist super – nur eine Station vom Amsterdam Centraal entfernt. Das Hotel ist sauber, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Das Essen beim Frühstück ist gut und die Portionen sind ausreichend.

Die Zimmer werden nur alle drei Tage gereinigt. Wir waren vier Tage dort und haben am Morgen des dritten Tages extra um eine Reinigung gebeten. Als wir gegen 16 Uhr zurückkamen, war das Zimmer immer noch nicht gereinigt und wir mussten erneut nachfragen. Das Frühstück à la carte ist etwas unorganisiert. Manchmal hat man das Gefühl, dass viel Personal herumläuft, ohne sich wirklich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Teilweise wartet man sogar 10 Minuten nur auf einen Kaffee.

L'hôtel est extraordinaire, les photos ne me permettaient pas de me rendre compte de la configuration des espaces, j'ai adoré l'esthétique du lieu. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et le personnel très sympa

Rien ne m'a vraiment déçue. Le quartier n'est pas dingue mais on est à 10 min à pied du ferry, on est donc rapidement dans le centre ville. La taille de la salle de bains est évidemment calculée au millimètre près mais pour quelques jours, ce n'est pas gênant.

Kamer was wel heel krap, maar voor 1 nacht was dit wel oké. Brandalarm ging af om 8:00 wanneer vele mensen nog sliepen dus dat was wel even schrikken. Raam kon niet open waardoor het wel heel warm was.

The atmosphere and breakfast were great and people were very nice. The bed was really nice and with earplugs you could have a good sleep.

I was missing a nice lounge possibility. The Atrium wasn't really comfortable and exposed. The showers were small and it was difficult to keep things dry. The bunk beds could use some airconditioning. I was really warm.

La déco est vraiment sympa. Le restau adossé est très bien (le service impeccable)
