Quiet, clean and comfortable

Perfect location Right beside train station and 6 minutes walk to other train station. Just a couple of minutes to shops and Windsor castle. Everything you would want in a room. Clean comfortable bed and nice size room. Was perfect for my needs. Room cleaned daily

Great location in middle of town and 3 minutes from station.

Room wasnt ready at 13.45 was told to leave case and come back in half an, 15 minutes after our check in time. Wanted to leave our case for an hour when we checked out but despite ringing bell several times nobody came to help.

Good central location. Clean, good sized room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Easy access.

No car park, ended up paying £26 for 24 hr parking. No reception, although staff there were friendly and helpful. Also the shower head didnt work fully but was ok and plenty of hot water.

Hervorragende Lage mitten in den Einkaufstraßen von Windsor. Schloss, Park, Restaurants usw. sind leicht und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Matratzen waren gut und vor allem gab es kostenlosten Nepresso-Kaffee auf dem Zimmer.

Die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen, sodass die gesamte Nacht die Klimaanlage laufen musste, was wir aufgrund des kalten Zugs als unangenehm empfunden haben. Ferner ist lag ein uralter Teppichboden aus, der unangenehm auf uns wirkte.

Only that the reception wasn’t manned. But ok as instructions left to gain access

The woman who helped check us in, had to also maintain all the rooms, etc. While she was extremely hardworking, she had too much responsibility and so we didn’t feel taken care of fully. This was no fault of hers, however.

Amazing location! Best night sleep I’ve had in years, aircon was incredible in the hot weather.

The only small issue we had was that the room was on the top floor of the building and there was no lift. Getting to the top in 30 degree heat wasn’t ideal! Only a small irk and wouldn’t put us off coming back.

A lovely bright and airy room, which was spacious. The air con was an absolute treat in the heat wave. Location was fantastic, with great links to legoland as well as london centre itself.

Excellent location in the town centre, close to train station. Large room that had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Only stayed 2 nights and room was cleaned and towels replaced after first night. Will stay here again

This fantastic room was brilliant in this heat wave. We were booked in the Travel lodge but it was like an oven in there so we left our booked room and found this amazing place!! Air con was fantastic!! Beautiful room. Perfect location comfortable massive bed and pillows. It saved us! Only thing we found that could be better is the shower it was slow and not alor of pressure. We would definitely stay there again.

The location was close to the castle but there was no car access

1. It is a boarding house not a hotel 2. We asked for first floor due to various demands and even asked the previous week in person but they still put us up 5 sets of stairs without a lift and over 10 pieces of luggage 3. They locked us out before 530 and do not provide a central key just a door key 4. It’s down a back alley next to a busy pub

The "self-service" element of both arrival and breakfast was a bit strange

Clean bedroom and bathroom. Good location beside Windsor castle. Entrance up an alley way. Scary at night as nightclub beside hotel with drunk behaviour at night.

Scary going into hotel via alley at night time as it’s beside a night club. Lots of loud drunk people with a fight one of the nights. Could be heard and seen from our room.

Can't complain it was all good

The closeness to high street and Windsor Castle was amazing.

No restaurant or cafe just your room. No view from room 510. All you could see was other windows. No one to for assistance after 5:30 when cleaners go home. There is a phone number to call for help.

Location was great and it was clean.

A little difficult to find due to the entrance being down an alley. We were on the 3rd floor and there is no lift.

Location was excellent, staff were amazing & rooms were so comfortable.

It was tricky to find, but once we realized it was in the middle of everything in Windsor, we were happy.

The hotel was easy to find, and the staff were very friendly.

The room was pleasant.

There was no food offered at any time. You could not access the hotel by car, including taxi (we had a rental car). The nearest parking lot was at least 0.5 miles away and it was not obvious how to get to the hotel from there. Non of this was on either the hotel or booking.coms website. we were in the midst of a very long trip with significant luggage. Once we hauled it to the hotel we also had to find a way to get it up several flights of stairs to our rooms.

Excellent location Comfortable bed Stayed just for the evening because attending an event and was very convenient for central Windsor

Location comfort space

The Goswell was situated in the heart of Windsor, close to the Castle & surrounded by great shopping, restaurants & bars. The rooms were very comfortable & well maintained. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We loved our 3 night stay!!

It was a little tricky to find & to be dropped off close by, but we figured it out (even with lots of luggage), stairs, no lifts, but big open space stairways.

The location was amazing. Just steps from Windsor Castle. We were only there one night but I wish we had more time to enjoy this place. It was quite large compared to other places we stayed at around London and Europe. It was perfect for what we needed.

Room was nice and spacious, a really good location.

Didn’t do breakfast as no eating areas available although basic non cooked breakfast available on request. Location was very central so able to walk around destinations easily but too close to nightclubs but noise wasn’t as bad as expected.

Finding it. It was not on google maps. I Thought parking was included. It was not and it was very difficult to unload an alleyway away and then park The car a good 10 Minute walk away. The room itself made up For That but this is not a hotel for Elderly people. No Lift and lots of stairs to our room. Luckily I Was with my Daughter and grandchildren who helped! 😉

There wasn’t much to dislike. As with other Windsor hotels we’ve stayed in with a similar budget, there is room for some updating.

Bathroom very dirty, had hair shavings all over the floor and bedroom was very dusty. Safe wasn’t working and beeped all through the night.

Die Lage auf der Hauptstraße, Nähe zum Läden, Restaurants, Schloss , etc . Einrichtung im Zimmer , nette Personal. Mein Glück.. Es hat ziemlich viel geregnet und das hat geführt zum Wasserschaden in der decke, was ich nicht wahr genommen hatte . Aber der personal wohl und mir wurde sofort ein anderes Zimmer angeboten

Wonderful room, easy check in and out, bang in the middle of Windsor

Everything was well communicated and the hotel is so nice - staff attentive. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as it's in the heart of town and v close to rail links.

Nothing they can do about it but the single biggest issue was the noisy nightclub very near my room; that was the only issue, everything else was good.

Great customer service, comfortable spacious room, incredibly clean.

No USB outlets, toilet roll holder loose, check-in instructions weren't clear long enough before arrival so I didn't realise I needed a door code after hours to get in

Housekeeper was friendly. Bathroom was decent. Room was nice size. All sorts of pillows was great.

Room showed some wear, especially the carpet. Linens were clean, except there was a long dark hair on the top of the comforter. And in the corner near the door there was a massive clump of hair that looked like it had been there for days, weeks, months. Minifridge would be nice.

The hotel was in the heart of Windsor , very close to the train station . Nice helpful staff , big enough room , comfortable bed . We stayed over the weekend and was aware that there is a night club next door , but we didn't hear anything . Plenty places to eat nearby , lots of shops , beautiful parks . After checkout we could leave our suitcases at the hotel for a few hours. Will definitely come back to Goswell House hotel when next in Windsor .

The staff were very helpful and always made us feel we could ask them for any help any time.

The view wasn't the nicest but we weren't worried about that.

What a fabulous property. Great welcoming room with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed and linens. Great host. Amazing location. We just wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely book here again.

Location was fab. Lovely big room, nice and clean and very comfortable bed.

There is secondary glazing - make sure it is closed, the bathroom window has some and was open which mean we could hear some street noise. It is fine if closed.

We booked the room last minute and arrived before official check in. The manager put the heating on in the room for us, prior to getting out bags. So considerate. The room was warm and comfortable. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect.

There was an issue with the front door lock at the time we stayed and was planned for repair, so slightly concerned about security. But informed there was on site /oncall person staying there in case of issues.
