Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Clean, comfortable hotel in a safe and peaceful UCLA campus location, with a thoughtful welcome and excellent management response when an issue arose.
Poor soundproofing with considerable noise from neighboring rooms, and one staff member was particularly rude and unprofessional. His attitude was unnecessarily rude and not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. However, after I reported the situation to the manager, she handled it exceptionally well. She listened, took the matter seriously and showed a genuinely professional and customer-focused attitude. Her response made a significant difference and, in our opinion, saved the overall experience.

This female manager is so unreasonable. She wouldn’t let me check out late at all. I told her I was happy to pay a half-day rate for the extra time. I’d even asked her about this the day before, plus I’ve been staying here for over two weeks. But she tried to force me to pack up and leave right away. I told her that was impossible since I hadn’t packed my luggage yet.the funniest thing is she said the hotel is fully booked , really flimsy reason. In the end, she only gave me a tiny bit of extra time. I think she’s really unsympathetic. At any other hotel, they’d at least let you stay until 2 PM.

The tables in the lobby were not kept very clean. There were coffee stains and stains on the chair seats. The coffee maker in the room did not work, and there was an error saying it needed to be “descaled”, so we could not make use of it, also the shampoo had very little content therefore could barely pump anything out. Of course, did not find that out until already showering. Not many dining options within walking distance.
