Clean and modern. Breakfast was decent.

Hotel entrance is on a side street and not obvious. Where to park for valet parking was also not obvious at all, with room for only two cars especially at night. I was traveling alone and had to park in a lot to call the hotel to figure out what to do. It ideal for a woman traveling alone.

The breakfast was very well done and the staff that presented it was excellent.

The weight room had a Precor tread mill down for three days duiring our stay so my wife could not join me for our three mile walk. I reported the outage to the front desk person after three days thinking you may not have known about its disrepair. The windows could have used cleaning throughour the facilty as well.

Room was small, no closets and dressers. Also hated paying $40 per day for parking. With Reservations parking should be free.

The location and price was great. Its located on a great street with good food and not far at all from the water. Also if you were going to a game, im sure you'd love it.

My first interaction with staff was not good. They must have been busy or understaffed or stressed but they were extremely short with me, explained nothing about the hotel or amenities like breakfast or check out, and handed me my card without even telling me my room number. The only words were "what do you need?" And "I need a card for incidentals." The floors were covered in bits of garbage in the elevator and on the 4th floor. Room was clean but the pillows were real bad. I know they can't make it perfect for everyone but when you put your head on these pillows you literally were laying on the mattress. I understand I could have asked for things but after the initial interaction, I didn't want to ask staff anything.

I loved everything . Breakfast was amazing and delicious. I loved that the hotel keeps us safe by having a key card to get to each level. We weren't able to get in the pool but it looked really cute. Everyone that worked there was really nice. The best of it was the walk in shower.

It would have been nice to be able to park our own cars if we wanted to. And the price 40 dollars a day was a little too much we decided to have family members take us down to st.pete from Tampa because the parking was just a little pricey.

Great hotel, was clean, breakfast was good, staff was helpful. Keke at valet was very welcoming and a pleasure to interact with.

The Hotel valet team was amazing during our stay at Tru by Hilton. A big shout out to Zack A. (Valet worker) who was truly a pleasure to deal with. We have stayed at many Hilton hotels and this one by far was our favorite. Very clean, awesome staff, great breakfast and it was in a great location. We will definitely come back and give it the highest rating possible!

Putting a warning out there because I didn’t expect the amount of the hold to be literally greater than 50% of the room rate. They put a $75 hold PER NIGHT on your card. I’m used to $50-$100 hold for the whole stay so to say this is excessive is an understatement. The hotel and stay itself were fine but if you’re on a tight budget you need to be aware of this hold. They don’t mention the excessive amount of this hold anywhere online.

We got room 327 and it was located next to a utility room. The staff was in and out all night moving things which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Also the 40 dollar parking fee was a complete surprise as it was not noted online. I thought it was excessive. The property clean but overall a disappointing experience.

We booked a King Suite, was given a 2 queen room.

I cannot say enough good things about Keke. We used the valet service today, and my mom was feeling really unwell. Instead of just doing her job and parking the car, Keke went completely above and beyond. She was incredibly caring, attentive, and sweet to my mom. She even took the time to personally walk her to the drug store to help her find Motrin. It’s rare to find that kind of genuine kindness and compassion these days. Keke turned what could have been a really stressful situation into a wonderful experience. Thank you so much, Keke—you are an absolute gem!

Our was very good, I really like the soap and shampoo dispensers and the Breakfast was outstanding. We had to search for an American restaurant downtown was a little disappointing, there were many indigenous restaurants and a bar and grill without waitress and Waiter Service. We walked almost 1hour and a half to look for dinner. Why with the Sundeck I had to step up to get into the wading area needs to be more accessible please and thank you. Need a quick stay after our AC went out. Didn’t check in until super late.. staff accommodated us with allowing us to check out later. Good breakfast options and quiet.

The room was smaller and parking was 40 for valet and 25 for self park. If I'm paying for a room that should include a free parking option. I can pay less per night and park at the stadium. Your prices are ridiculous.

Wonderful stay. Perfect location for watching a ball game at Tropicana Stadium ... easy walk. I liked the layout of the room -- no wasted space, quiet, very comfortable bed and especially clean. The lobby and breakfast space was attractive and airy. The breakfast offerings were very good. Valet parking was convenient and very responsive. The service was exceptional with all the staff being friendly, helpful and pleasant. I would commend one of the valets - Keke - for her service and helpful tourist advice. I was so impressed with the hotel, I have already made another booking there later this month when I come for another game at the Trop.

Location was perfect, it was an easy walk to the Tampa Bay Rays stadium, we are Detroit Tiger Fans! We walked to a sports bar and grill “Ferg’s, easy walk and great food. The coffee and breakfast in the morning was delicious! Most of all was how nice and courteous the staff was from the staff that parked our car to the staff at the counter so friendly and helpful. Even the gal cleaning the rooms when we were on our way to the room said hello and said if you need anything in the room let us know.

In room coffee maker? …I went downstairs about 5:30 am and took back to our room 4 cups of coffee was nice and fresh tasting.

We were in for a one-night stay. All of the staff that we encountered including the valet, were very happy and pleasant. The room was comfortable, the shampoo, lotion, shower gel containers were full. The towels and sheets smelled fresh and were soft. They did not have the over bleached smell at all. The location was perfect to I-275 as well as the eateries. Very Very pleased.

The bathroom looked a little outdated with some wear and tear but acceptable for us.

Very cute place to stay with nice shops in a walkable area. Keke, the valet provided exceptional service. Just an overall great personality. Very refreshing to see these days

I did not like that. The rooms were not cleaned daily and we were there for four days. They would just come and give towels and sometimes switch out the garbage. I would’ve loved for them to make the bed, etc..

KEKE , Absolutely outstanding valet from start to finish. She was professional, SUPER friendly, fast, and made the entire experience feel smooth and stress-free. From the moment we arrived, She was welcoming and attentive, and our vehicle was handled with great care. What really stood out was KEKE customer service — every morning , we watching her pulling cars. she stayed calm and organized even during busy hours, and She treated every guest with respect and professionalism. It’s rare to find a valet that works this hard while still keeping such a positive attitude. Thank you for providing such an excellent experience. This level of service truly makes a difference, and I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting.

We had a leadership meeting and stayed at the Hilton Tru hotel in St Pete. It was a wonderful trip. Jimmy helped us get everything coordinated and was amazing to work with. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful from the front desk (Ameer) to Valet (Owen and Ayden) to management (Jimmy). Very satisfied and looking forward to hosting our next team meeting there.

The location had a lot of places around it to explore and really good restaurants. It was close to the highway to travel to and from Tampa. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. There were activities and games to play with for the younger kids.
