The King room was very spacious. Location was very central to town and convenient for shops.

Quite noisy. The shower could do with a spruce up (mould around the sealant). No hand towel was provided.

Bed was comfortable and the location was great.

Bed only had a duvet with no top sheet. The location was very noisy every night. Walls were in need of help, one had hand prints all over it, another is missing a large mirror but the glue is still there, kitchen backsplash is plastic and curling up. Windows were filthy, floor in bathroom is a plastic sheet that barely hides an uneven floor, 2 of 3 lights in bathroom were burnt out. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. No cloth or towel to wash dishes. No paper towels or facial tissue. Trim around toilet flush button is falling off. Even with the heaters off the room got very warm. It was only 19C outdoors.

Very clean and well maintained, amazing location too. Right next to the market and also close to the coach station and central station. Everything is within walking distance.

Some extra amenities can be provided like oil, salt and pepper (so we can actually cook something). Also a hair dryer can be provided.

Shower in particular needs attention there is mould or rust all around, the basin in the bathroom does not drain correctly. Sugar sachets had been wet at some point, sugar was hard. Floor was not clean, bedding was fresh although the wall beside the bed is worn or dirty, mattress and pillows very cheap quality.

The space and the location of the property and how secure it was. Felt like home from home.

Was able to leave our bags in the room 1 hour before check-in as we were greeted by the cleaners. Once-checked in, we asked if there a free-standing mirror available, but the cleaner reported she had a replacement for the missing mirror in the bathroom. It was replace on our return to the room. The staff we came across were polite and very helpful. The location is excellent for a night out. We went to the Mayflower and had a meal before and drinks after. We was never no more than a few minutes away from everything you was from a city centre night out.

It would have been useful to have another mirror in the room for doing hair/makeup - near to an electrical socket. There also wasn't a hairdryer in the room. Some upgrades like USB sockets would be good too. The wooden blinds look nice, but shut out little light in the morning. Our scoring would be higher if it was priced lower, but for £100/night, I think if should feel a little more like 'home-from-home' with all the amenities included.

Entrance used as a toilet by homeless people nearby, strong smell of piss when you try to open the front door. Very noisy, dirty and dated.

Location is excellent for West Quay and the Mayflower theatre. The apartment is well equipped with a kitchenette and TV.

The bed mattress is very soft - it's like sleeping on Tigger's bottom. Even though there's a decent lift to floor 3 there are still stairs to climb and they're not all a consistent height. Right in town so can be noisy if the nutters are about.

Where do I start Amenities listed was not there, no wardrobe, dirty walls, cleaning sponge was awful, oven no oven gloves, coffee facilities, nope. It was a kettle. Windows not sound proofed, shouting going on every night below woken up by screams and Greg’s delivery van. No writing desk, there is a table, bed mattress caused discomfort throughout stay.

The location was probably the best thing about this room. The fridge was a good and decent size too and was clean.

The room was not cleaned properly upon arrival and the bed sheets had staijs on. Called the properly and they did send the cleaner in again which was very evident and they did a good job but shame we had to ask for this. The door kept in bsnging and did not feel secure we had to put a chair behind the door to feel safe and try to minimise the banging. The next day we bought so tape and cushion the door to also try and help. The windows has broken seals which meant the wind whistled through all night and did not stop much outside nosie. The cutlery was not suitable for 2 people with only 1 knife provided. The kettle and toaster were hard to read as up on a shelf and right next to the plugs (also on shelf) and out of date for PAT testing. The bathroom sink would easily spill out without much pressure from the tap so we had to keep a floor towel down . The bed was uncomfortable. We had to ask for extra pillows. There was a random gap behind the bed. The bedside light had to be moved to the other side of the room as no plugs near bed. We had asked to change rooms as have stayed there before and the other 2 rooms we have had had been a very decent size but was told it was fully booked all weekend. Brown stains on the wall and what appeared to be mould spits on the ceiling too

Very uncomfortable bed felt every spring in the matteress, shower was disgusting with black grime all round it. The toilet seat wasn’t attached properly. Needs attention payed to paint work on surfaces. To big of a gap at the bottom of the front door made us feel uneasy. The drainage in the bathroom in the morning smelt really bad.

Le logement est super bien placé dans la ville, on est à 5 minutes à pied du centre commercial, de la vielle ville et des rues principales ! Il y avait une kitchenette, ce qui est très pratique si l'on souhaite cuisiner sur place. J'y suis allée quand il faisait un peut chaud, la présence du ventilateur était bien pratique !

J'ai eu quelques difficultés avec les fenêtres de la chambre dans laquelle on était, donc pas très pratique pour aérer (surtout quand il fait un peu chaud). Il y a peu d'ustensiles de cuisine et la plupart n'étaient pas très propres.

The check-in was automated and very easy.

This could be the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Nothing like the pictures when booking. One bedroom had quite a potent smell of urine. The whole place needs a huge deep clean and redecoration. We were in room 15, it was terrible. Almost as though a student had been living there and sub-let it for the night. No amenities. No hand soap in either bathroom. Stains on the walls, I’m pretty sure in one bathroom there was blood on the wall. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Zentrale Lage im Stadtzentrum in Bahnhofsnähe. Fahrstuhl und geräumiges Treppenhaus vorhanden. Großes Zimmer mit eigener Küchenzeile. Bad und auch das Zimmer teilweise renoviert und neu ausgestattet.

Schimmelbefall in der Dusche. Alte Doppelfenster mit einfachen Jalousien, die weder wirklich verdunkeln noch den Straßenlärm wirksam dämpfen. Daher kein wirklich erholsamer Schlaf möglich. Alte abgenutzte Küchenzeile. Insgesamt wirkte das Apartment trotz halbherzig er4olgter Renovierung lieblos und nicht wirklich gepflegt.

Good sized studio,excellent location near the Guild Hall..A fan was provided to cool the room.

These are quite minor points but would improve the property to excellent.I had to refit the curtain rail above the sink as the curtains are too heavy for the rail.While overall the studio appears clean it could do with a deep clean in the corners and shower tray.The doors on the cupboards next to the bed need adjusting so they close.

The floors, fridge and bedlinen were clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV worked. There wasn't a lot more that I can say to be positive about the place

On arrival there were no covers on the pillows (they arrived about 15 minutes later). No towels were initially provided either - I had to go into a shop to buy something to use. When I returned to the apartment late at night someone had been in to leave towels but by then it was too late. The shower was disgusting. The sealant around the edges of the enclosure were covered in black mould, the flexible pipe to the handset was damaged and water leaked everywhere, and the shower could not hold a temperature, going constantly warm and cold. The toilet seat was dangerously loose - one fitting seemed to be missing entirely and the other was so loose that the seat swung around if you didn't sit on it carefully (it was also too small for the bowl). The toilet bowl was dirty all around the rim where it did not look to have been cleaned properly for a long time. There was no covering strip between the edge of the bathroom and main room flooring that could potentially become a trip hazard. In the kitchen area there was damage to the edge of the glass hob, and I was not confident of its safety. The kettle had not been descaled properly and had loose limescale in it. The cutlery that was provided did not look all that clean, and although washing up liquid was provided, the sponge that was there was so dirty that I didn't risk cleaning anything. The windows were filthy and one could not be completely shut, which did not help with the noise from outside. Not all the blinds worked properly. This apartment is right in the town centre which is a convenient location, and obviously the owners cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of the general public, but forget it if you want to get a good nights sleep here because drunkards were shouting and banging things around all night, even setting off a shop burglar alarm at 4am, which sounded for a long time. I doubt this was a one-off situation. There was also no facility whatsoever for hanging clothing, truly bizarre.

This flat is situated two steps away from the high street. This is the most positive point of this studio.

The studio is in desperate need of tlc. Mattress has a big dent and needs to be replaced. Mattress protector was dirty. Ceiling on the kitchen area needs cleaning. Top of shower pipe and ceiling needs repair. Fan is very dirty, bottle of handwash liquid soap was dirty. If these issues get sorted, and a good coat of paint and clean all over, it will be a very nice studio.

Room No.5 The Apartment was nice, well thought out. Bed was nice, plenty of shelves and cupboards to put belongings.

There was no hand soap, at all through the entire apartment. The Shower Doors were damaged, and almost fell on me when I was having a shower. I was lucky to catch it.

I booked this place due to the lack of options in the city; I stayed in two different apartments in the same building. I liked the "home away from home" feel, and I also appreciated that one of the apartments had a nice, wide full-length mirror—whereas the other only had one where you could see yourself down to the thighs.

In both apartments, I felt there was a lack of kitchen utensils, such as pots and pans. The units were clean, but they only had blinds; the back window lacked blinds or any curtains, meaning a lot of sunlight streamed in. If you follow a skincare routine or use facial acids, this might not be the best place for you, as the sunlight could cause skin discoloration. The blinds in both apartments were broken, so I had to use my own clothes to cover the gaps. All in all, I found the accommodation expensive; I don't think it's worth the price charged. I believe the owners set exorbitant rates because it was peak summer season. Only one of the apartments had a fan for the summer, and it was very hot; in other words, not all units come with a wide full-length mirror or summer fans, and since so much sunlight entered, the place heated up very quickly. I hope that if you are thinking of booking accommodation in this city, you find a better, better-equipped option that offers better value for money.

That it's very flexible with check in times and the staff were easy to contact. Location was also good.

Not clean especially bathroom and beer sheets has so many stains, broken plug sockets, one was nearly fully exaposed, front door had holes filled with paper and gaps so people could see in. No hand soap, very cheap shower gel. To charge over £100 for this property is actually awful its worth £60-£70 max for a night, being central isn't a good enough reason with the state of the room is in.

It was very noisy, very warm & the shower door was not attached to the shower.. it was just inside the shower. More pillows would have been good.

The location worked for the training course I was delivering at.

The room was basic at best, there was a Temu version of a kids desk fan to push hot air around a 2" surrounding area of it. It was the 1st time I have ever had to buy bug spray to eliminate any flying friends that were lurking in the room. Having spent time in the military, abroad on operations I have never smelt a toilet so bad Give me a thunder box on 40 •c any time .

Plug sockets without power are a fire hazard. So having to decide between a fan or the TV in a very hot room was not great. Charging my phone at other end of the apartment as literally only two plugs would would of the six there. It was tidy. But the noise of the door rattling all night left me with little sleep. Also think it was secure building. But don't think it's worth it's charging rates.

Property management is not able to generate simple invoice, even after several contacts/messages. Booking is useless to support business travelers as well. In some countries to provide invoice is law obligation, here they just don't care only to get money and no service, from both sides Booking and owner.

The location is excellent. Close to the train station and to a pedestrian street with restaurants and bars. The room is good as well as the size. The staff is very helpful. I asked an early check-in to be able to get dressed as we came for a wedding. We had the room at 1.30pm.

There wasn't a breakfast so why ask? The location was convenient, not far from the train station and close to the dock. There were a number of eateries within a 10 minute walk. The bathroom was clean.

The floor was filthy. I wiped it with a wet wipe and it was dark grey. I noticed the floor because my feet became so dirty. I had to wash each dish and cutlery, as the first bowl I took had a film of grease on it. Obviously it hadn't been used in a long time and the grease from cooking had created a film over time. The windows and windowsills were dirty. The bedding was obviously polyester as it was very uncomfortable, especially in the heat. I realize there's nothing anyone can do about the heat but polyester is never comfortable.

It was our last minute booking but we were pretty happy about the value of money and the place. 1. Close to everything, right on the high street 2. It has most of the essentials (even a small kitchen) 3. Check in was easy

1. The water temperature in the shower was a disaster, it’s in between too hot and pure cold, we found a balance and it was towards to cold. (Fine in the heatwave but winter might be a risky) we were there when it was rainy and chilly 2. As you’re in the apartment and the main entrance is PIN code and doesn’t close automatically, we saw someone who probably wasn’t staying in the building came in as the door opened, didn’t feel too safe. 3. The price of the prime location comes with noises. As you’re right on high street, there are drunk ppl and homeless around and sometimes they start early or they gets quiet late at night. (We dodged the weekend but even weekdays were quite loud the windows aren’t the most amazing)

Really disappointed with this accommodation. NOT how the pictures depicted. Booked for two but the apartment was a SMALL double but set up for one person. Bed uncomfortable and could do with a deep clean and refurb. For the price when booking was expecting a higher quality of apartment . NOT room that was very tired and of the lower end of the scale accommodation. I stress again not what the photos depict.

The location was good

On arrival to the room the corridor was littered with dirty linen and cleaning material. The time was later than the allowed check in time. The room itself was very dirty, the window frames inside looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. No clothes hangers were supplied. Even if they had been there was no hanging space provided. We had to clean the accommodation ourselves. We had to wash all the crockery, glassware and cutlery before we could use them. It was obvious that some of these items had not received any attempt at washing after the previous guests. There was only one fork provided for 2 people. The toilet was badly stained and the seat was broken. The shower unit was disgusting with areas of black mould. The shower head support was broken so the shower could not be used properly. When showering the water went from hot to cold every few seconds. Fellow quests in another room on the floor above reported the same issue. The supplied toiletry bottles were dirty. The drawer under the sink was broken and fell all the way out. There was a damaged table lamp on the bedside table. I am amazed that Booking.com have this property on their listing. It’s a disgrace.

Very convenient location in town, great little kitchenette

Only 1 fan in the room and the shower needs regrouting as it has quite a bit of mold. Also the water pressure varies with boiling hot to cold in between....

The property was spotless, and modern, very comfortable bed, and a huge tv. Tea and coffee available with a kettle.

The house looks nice and polished but has an unwelcoming vibe. The smell of hospital disinfectant is everywhere. There were not enough plugs. There seems to have been some design board glued to the wall but must have fallen and just some traces of dirt mixed in dry glue left. The window frames not so clean, a small part was cracked, there was noise from the street. Communication with them once ypu are there is impossible. Phone number is unavailable.There is no reception staff on-site except for cleaners that come and go. They missed to leave any towels in my room, I had to go twice to ask and it took 30 minutes to get them so I could shower. Bathroom floor was sinking next to shower cabin. It wasn't dirty but you sort of wanted to avoid touching anything. Funniest thing, they had a notice on the door saying to not take away the toiletries as you would be charged but there were no toiletries. The so called soap or shower gel were so scarce and diluted that it almost seemed a joke that they had put that notice there. We were lucky though to find it because the whole city was fully booked but in other circumstances I would never think of paying 200 eur per night for this room.

The location was perfect with easy access to shopping and sight seeing.

There was a lot of black mold in the shower, the shower head installation was shoddy and the water temperature kept changing. We arrived during a heat wave and the only way of moving the air was the tiniest toy table fan that I have ever seen which was completely inadequate for keeping the apartment cool even with the windows open, and sleeping at night was very difficult. Upon contacting the staff their reply was simply that they only have that fan, and no offer to provide something more substantial. We had to cut our stay short and find another hotel with air conditioning for the last night when the daytime temps hit 36 degree Celsius (95 fahrenheit). There were no paper towels of any sort. We did our own cooking, and had to buy everything since the apartment did not have any supplies but thankfully there are several grocery stores nearby, especially a giant ASDA.

Private and relatively peaceful, clean throughout and the shower was good.

The headboard of the bed was badly broken, barely attached to the wall and possibly quite dangerous. The blinds were not enough to keep out the early summer light at sunrise and there wasn't enough in the way of cutlery, plates etc. Very expensive for one night and for what you get.

The location was perfect and the room did what it needed to, the bed was really comfortable and the cooking facilities were just needed for a one night. The emails giving the door codes were easy to understand and follow.

The toilet seat seat did not fit properly and needs replacing, urgently. I could not get the television to work maybe a folder with helpful information would useful including how the television works and the cooker. It would also be useful to to have somewhere to hang clothes

I checked in to the apartment and left immediately. The conditions of this apartment are unacceptable. It was dirty and unsafe. The shower was filthy with mould. The blind was broken. The window did not shut, and the door and lock was flimsy. As a female solo traveller I did not feel safe to stay here. I did not stay. I requested a refund and thankfully it was granted.

Good area very central There is a lift which is a big plus. Adequate facilities

No tea or coffee or milk. Only two mugs and one wine glass one regular size glass better to have two regular for those of us who drink water. We had an unfortunate experience in that when we returned at 8pm the smoke detector was alarming. This was due to the battery running out. I contacted staff and got through to them I think around 8:30pm maybe 8:45pm they said they were aware and were dealing with it. I was really tired and was desperate to get to bed. I called again at 09:50 when they finally offered a chance to change rooms. Why not just do that immediately! If they had done that they would have had a better review! It was ok I feel that they didn’t have enough staff. Perhaps some proactive management for something like this! It happens it’s how you deal with it that’s important!

There definately is some finishing touches required..roilet seat was hanging off, certain areas were rusted, could hardly see out the windows as so dirty.

The shower had a thick layer of mould which looked like it was not cleaned in a very long time. When you open the bathroom odour, the smell of the mould was prominent. The vent was so dusty, the the dust was hanging, this is how thick it was. On the first day, I tried to close the kitchen curtain, the railing fell off. It was just wedged and actually had no firm holding, as I tried to put this back in place and just could not. So the kitchen window was open, as you can imagine this is a studio flat, so that meant the kitchen and bedroom was visible. Text messaged and never received the response and I was there for 4 nights. I requested an invoice almost half a dozen times, no response and no invoice. The booking stated 2, however, only one plate, etc. we had to locate the cleaner and request more cutlery. No microwave, but an oven was present, but when you opened the door, the oven moved forward. An oven was available, but for health and safety reasons no oven mitts or kitchen towel was available for removing hot food from the oven. There was a mirror, but instead of it being hung up it, this large mirror was placed on this small table with the 2 chairs. This small table and 2 chairs become key when there is no sofa to sit on. Most uncomfortable experience with poor customer services.

How central it was

The thick smell of smoke, the smoke alarm going off three times in the space of an hour because someone was clearly smoking in their room even though it states not to.
