Need more lighting in the room for guests because it’s so dark. Also, it was so cold when we entered into the hotel room. My little kids were complaining very cold.

The breakfast was cold, the oatmeal was like a runny soup. The taste was mediocre.

Breakfast was good. Property well maintained. Staff were great and the B55 Bar and Grill was lovely. Walking distance to the Farmer’s Market.

Our toilet would not flush well when we first arrived. I advised the front desk who sent up a maintenance worker while we went out to explore the area. It started to back up again later that night so the front desk thankfully offered a different room up. The next room the shower door would not stay shut while trying to shower which lead to a wet floor when getting out. The room was equipped with only 3 bath towels, which was not enough for myself, husband and 2 daughters.

A quiet place in a midsize town. All the facilities I needed are either with the hotel or at nearby shopping area.

The staff were very professional and the hotel room was very clean.

I requested an early check in when I first booked the room but the hotel was unable to confirm that was possible until 1pm of the day I was arriving. I understand why but still feel I should be able to request an early check-in. (I was only requesting a 1pm check in versus the normal 3pm check in due to a wedding that started at 3pm in the nearby town of Wellesley, Ontario Canada)

The person at the reception was so helpful. We arrived late at night and couldn't find a cart to load our luggage, so he helped us carry it to our room. It was such a sweet gesture, and we truly appreciate it. Additionally, the breakfast was decent with options for all, and the space was ambient. We stayed only for one night but it was really good overall.

Perfect location for dinner, the market and theatre. We went to all of them! Spacious room, good lighting, comfortable bed.

The price this visit!! $130.00 more than last year at the same time. Steep.

Breakfast was good, pretty good selection and good coffee. Great location close to St Jacobs Market and easy driving when I was traveling to Fergus.

Overall everything was good, room was clean and quiet, staff was nice, breakfast was quite good. Gym and pool were good.

Pillows and bed need replacement, well used and old. Pool was nice but noticed ripped up paper on the floor and a coffee cup on a table for our entire stay ? Not sure if pool area is cleaned daily

Everything was great. Everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, towels and linens are of good quality. Breakfast has something for everyone and is well stocked. The grounds and gardens are well kept. The location of the hotel is very convenient for the Playhouse Theatre, restaurants and the village of St. Jacob's.

The only thing I can fault is that there is only one chair in the room. Two chairs would be very much appreciated.

The farmers field outside our 2nd floor window was so nice. We saw all kinds of wildlife looking outside. The hotel & rooms were spotless. The hotel was very quiet as well. The bathroom was a great size, you didnt feel crammed in.

The hotels need to bring back hottubs. It add such a relaxing atmosphere to your stay. The hotel restaurant was closed on the Sunday. This was a huge disappointment and inconvenience. My son's graduation was the next morning. It disrupted the relaxation of Sunday evening having to drive else where.

We had to ask for face cloths because house keeping only worked every other day. I don’t like that There are only three face cloths and if all the occupants showed before going to bed there is nothing tho wash with in the morning.

Really handy location for doing things in St. Jacobs or North Waterloo. Nice looking hotel, they have an aesthetic that's nice and modern. Breakfast was pretty good, mostly standard fair and not a lot of variety but the coffee bar is nice,

If I'm going to pay $200 for a room I would like a nicer shower, but if I'm going to pay $200 I'm going to insist the shower be clean. There was hair all over the shower so I only got in, noticed, and got out so wasn't able to use it and it was so late I wasn't going to move rooms. Noticed a stain on the carpet but wasn't too bothered but when I went to breakfast I went to a booth and the bench was stained as was the wall. Someone had also dropped food outside the elevator and when I went back to my room it had been 'cleaned' but while the main spot had been cleaned there was still stuff further away all over the floor. All together it just paints a real picture of lack of care and thoroughness when it comes to cleanliness and after 2 stays in 3 weeks I'll try one of the other hotels that are all in this same area.

I chose this property because of the customer service that Hampton Inn is known for. However, when I called to request a one hour late check out time, they refused to accommodate that. It was my graduation from a nearby university and i wanted to keep my room for a short time after the ceremony to come back and change out of my dress clothes. Instead they refused to allow that 1 hour time frame and alternatively, i had to haul my suitcase with me and change in a bathroom stall of a restaurant! I was told the housekeeping supervisor would not allow my request. So much for customer service!

I felt like my customer request was not given proper consideration and accommodation. A special request, which didn’t feel unreasonable, was made in essence of what would be accommodating for the customer. My preference should have had weight, not the housekeepers’ time schedule.

All good but the mango juice was really awful. The orange juice was good but this seemed off although the helper said that’s the way it normally is.

We did have an issue with the changes to making up the room. Part of the fun in getting away is to have the bedroom made up DAILY. The garbage was overflowing, calls to house keeping for towels, toilet paper we required more than once!

The breakfast was different during our 2 day stay. Excellent options, clean area, nice seating area, very friendly staff. The food choices had something for everyone.

The bed was rock hard and the blankets were quite thin. Not sure why the toilet was so low. Both of us were not happy at all with it.

I thought it was very good, better than expected. We were both very pleased.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Bar area lovely with live music and ext time we will eat dinner there instead of going out.

Really uncomfortable sofa bed Desk needs to be replaced or reconfigured. Extra chair would be nice for third guest

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional

the room was cold and the heating could not be adjusted from the wall panel; it always reverted to about 70 degrees, no matter what I tried to set it to. Too cold. TV remote needs to be replaced, or new batteries, wouldn't change channels easily. The heating would kick in, on and off, when really cold and was noisy, loud rumbling (silent heaters do exist).

I offered exactly what i was looking for. Arriving on a Holiday weekend I was very much taken care of. Could have done without the snowstorm. Won't hold you responsible,

Fantastic breakfast. lots of variety. meal was yummy. My kids enjoyed the breakfast and always looked forward to coming downstairs for breakfast.

The fact that I had a reservation for 2 nights and I came with my family. After day 1 I had to repeatedly remind the staff to come clean my room. It was not encouraging, given the fact that we enjoyed the rest of the comfort and the complimentary. I suggest improvement on that.

Breakfast had a nice selection. We had enjoyed the breakfast here before. We were in a hurry due to very difficult weather conditions and had to leave early to reach home. We had a lot of help from the staff due to the weather our handicap conditions and my husbands heart problems. The reason we stay there is the attention to the customers and the caring manor of the staff. We were offered a free stay in the city but opted for your accommodations.

Nothing we can think of at this time. We will be back.

Breakfast was great.

We were doing a girls trip to the St Jacobs Market so the location was perfect. Walking distance to the market, restaurants, outlet mall. Short drive to downtown, Breakfast (included) was very good & ran until 10:00 am!! Staff very friendly & attentive.

I went back to get the water bottles offered by the first staff. I forgot to take them, the second staff hesitated to offer the bottles, I only was given one. Breakfast was OK, not what I thought the Hampton would provide

The rooms were quite large and very comfortable. There was space for me to work and move around. I also appreciated the breakfast each morning.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were happy to find that after an evening swim, we were able to dry our swimsuits afterwards. The breakfast buffet was very good. We would stay again.

my husband does not sleep well and went to the lobby hoping to get a coffee. Unfortunately there was none available.. Not being familiar with the area he did not know where to find one. Just would have been relieved to have found coffee in the lobby, but def not a deal breaker.
