The Old Coach House

A very warm welcome by Kath who took time to explain the routine for breakfast and showed us our superior room which was on the ground floor. Tea & coffee making facilities with kettle. Also we were able to park off road nearly outside our ground floor window which was very handy and secure. We loved everything about our 5 night stay in a very friendly atmosphere with hosts Kath & Rick.

There is nothing not to like about staying at this wonderful accommodation with so much character.

The property is absolutely ideal for fans of historic architecture, boasting a rich history which is evident in its confident yet understated grandeur. Despite arriving on one of the busiest weekends of the calendar year, we found it incredibly fairly priced given its location and relative locality to the Pleasure Beach Resort. Kath and Rick were excellent hosts and really delivered a personal experience which enhanced the stay. Will definitely stay again upon our return to Blackpool.

Everything!! , rooms were very clean warm and comfortable. Kath and Rick were great hosts. Parking wasn’t an issue with off road parking available. We had the king room and it was probably the best we’ve ever had in Blackpool.👍

Location and cleanliness

Cozy old style, wonderful hosts, easy access and parking. Quiet and reserved. Short way from everything we wanted to seek out by foot around Pleasureand tram was close for the rest of our trips.

Loved everything about this property! A beautiful building with a luxurious feel, the rooms were elegant and classy with a big 4 poster bed. Ample space with lots of storage options and a big en suite with both bath and shower. The room was equipped with everything we could need and the hosts were very accommodating with providing a bowl and milk for our son’s breakfast each morning. We did not make use of the breakfast option as had other plans however it was very reasonable at £5pp. The hosts were so lovely and friendly, we felt at home straight away and had great communication with them throughout. The property is in an ideal location, only a few minutes walk to the seafront and South Pier but set back enough that it’s not really noisy. Only a five minute walk to the pleasure beach too. We highly recommend this B&B and would happily stay again.

This is a very clean and tidy small hotel, very close to I everything you need. Room was not huge but perfectly good. The two owners were available whenever needed. Honesty bar was very reasonable price wise but we never used it.

Lovey & clean & bed was really comfy. Location was close to South Pier which is what we wanted. Only minor grumble was breakfast as they don't do sausages! The bacon & poached eggs were cooked to perfection though & Kath was very attentive. All in all it was a lovely stay 😀

Great little hotel run by lovely couple, Rick and Kath. Very friendly and made to feel at home instantly. Breakfast was very nice.

If I had to be critical, a little dusty and hair was in the plug of the shower.

Really comfortable and cosy. Everything was clean, well-maintained and easy to use. The property itself was exceptionally well looked after, both inside and out. The hosts also provided extra coffee and milk for guests, which was a very generous touch. We had the pleasure of meeting the hosts, and they genuinely seemed like such kind and courteous people. We really can't complain about anything. We've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was definitely one of the cosiest places we've ever stayed. We can't wait to come back in the future and wish the owners every success and good fortune.

Kath and Rick are lovely. They're very helpful and made us feel so welcome. The hotel is in a great location for the pleasure beach, south pier or the bus / train to Lytham. We were there for the Lytham festival. There's a bar, pool table, breakfast availability, parking. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It was a great little find.

Excellent location, plenty of places to get food nearby, very cosy room and comfortable beds and hosts really lovely.

The decor was really nice

Lovely b&b in a great location with a beautiful garden. Kath & Rick were great hosts, very friendly and gave us some useful information about places to eat/visit. Everything was extremely clean. Bed very comfy and generally very quiet so slept well. There was tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room which was a nice touch. Parking facility was a big bonus for us too. Thanks for a lovely stay. We’ll be back.

The Old Coach House was in a good and quiet location, it was beautifully decorated and comfortable with lovely furniture. It was also spotlessly clean. Kath and Rick were very welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend the Old Coach House.

Met Kath and Rick briefly on arrival and were very welcoming. The guest house was ideally suited for my stay . Room was very clean and spacious with a king size bed. Most of the time I was there it felt like I had the place to myself it was that quiet. Will definitely rebook next year.

Was a lovely location really close to the Pleasure Beach ( the reason for our visit) Had shops and food all within a few streets too, and less than 5 mins walk to the beach. Parking was great, the cars were all parked up by the owner and kept off the road. The rooms were lovely, had a homely feeling and all the facilities that we needed for our stay, the rooms were a good size too.

Only thing for us was the breakfast time was a bit late as we were off out in the morning, so we didn't get to try it.

Kath is super welcoming and available to help with any queries, the guest book in the room with recommendations is a great touch, Room is clean and comfortable and environment is quiet (no noise from other guests or street etc) Location is a very close walk from south pier Car park is small but Kath and Rick accommode as much as possible and honesty box at bar is perfect for my partner who always ends up needing a can of pop at random times through the day or night!! Fantastic Stay! Would highly recommend

Such a beautiful house - inside and out. So peaceful too with the best nights sleep in a super comfy bed. Kath and Rick are the perfect hosts! Breakfast was optional which was great. We were able to choose if we wanted breakfast up until 8pm the night before with the choice of continental for a fiver or only £3 extra for bacon and eggs. Brekky was fab too!

Kath and Rick were very welcoming and very accommodating arranging 2 rooms with a door between for us. The hotel was clean and well cared for . We had a great night's sleep as the beds were so comfy( the little one wanted to take his bed home with us ) breakfast was lovely lots of choice with the Continental and the best poached eggs John had ever had with delicious bacon. Would definitely recommend and next time we are in Blackpool we will be back .Amazing stay many thanks from the Field family.

At breakfast some of the tablets had high tablets and chairs which I struggle to get on with not being very tall

Beautiful guesthouse in a quiet street near to major attractions. The rooms are beautiful, from the breakfast room, to the bedroom. Bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage space and a large en-suite. Heat was welcome on a very cold October day! Cleanliness throughout was superb. Breakfast was good. Kath & Rick were so welcoming to our party of four adults and two children who arrived late at night. Their hospitality and warmth was outstanding. We will definitely be back for another visit.

The room was spotless and spacious with a lovely ensuite. The ensuite had both shower and bath which was perfect as hubbie prefers showers. The bed was comfortable and room warm. We had received text messages before arriving so when we arrived they let us know our room was ready and its great to be able to contact easily. The hotel was very well laid out and we loved that alot of the older features were still. Would definatley recommend and visit again.

The rain on the day we arrived but you can't blame that on the hosts. They made sure the room was warm.

Great building with lots of character. Amazing four poster bed, stained glass windows and nice communal lounge with bar and pool table. Wonderful welcoming hosts, good breakfast, everything you need in the room and close to Pleasure Beach and other attractions in that area. Would rebook in future.

Kath makes you feel very welcome, she upgraded our room for free which was very nice of her. The room we had was very nice, the bed was very comfortable,so we slept very well. Well recommended.
