Very clean . Great location and professional and helpful
Location is great
Clean and good location for what I needed . Staff extremely helpful
Fire alarm went off first night
The property is nothing like the pictures. The staff have not responded to our messages regarding the deposit and stated a bit of makeup did not come out I. The wash. I have booked numerous times with booking and this is the only issue I have ever had in years!! Still awaiting deposit and nobody is replying to our messages. It also took us an hour to get into the property customer service is shocking very very dissapointed
Easy checkin process, comfortable and clean
Great value and location, good cooking facilities as well
Nothing
Parking
- many hidden charges that were revealed after the booking was done - the property asked £100 deposit -charged admin fee + key card fee -asked about early check in , no fee mentioned until deposit payment was done and free cancellation time was over (£15/hour) - extra admin fee to return the deposit - will still charge you key card fee even if returned (why putting a fee if the keycard is returned to its original state) - admin fee to retune the deposit ? It is a deposit you have requested , so it is your responsibility to return it to the customer , as it was given to you All these fees should be mentioned on their page when advertising the place , not after the booking and the payment is done . Playing tactics to scam and charge more
Easy to access, cheap and cheerful, clean with everything you needed
The bed was broken on one side so it was a bit low but was fine to sleep on

Bed was amazing
Location
Poor customer service (you can’t get though by phone, only text) Misleading facilities - no EV charger that worked Car park very squeezed and felt unsafe Poor hygiene - hair in shower and bits on bed - I refused to stay (I was barely there for 20 minutes) and they are now refusing to refund me Adjoining door in room that felt unsafe and had loud music playing Damage deposit is taken within seconds, but takes a week to return (even though I didn’t stay there) and then they charge £3 deduction for the admin processing…for a task they impose Really awful experience. I’ve been left out of pocket and very stressed. Please save yourself the stress.
I really liked the property because it was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The location was great, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing.
Loved it—clean, cosy and in a great location.
Clean and comfortable. Immaculate shower-room with great water pressure - might sound a strange thing to say but it really does make a huge difference to me not to have to stand under a trickle of water!! Very comfortable bed. It was VERY hot weather when I was there and, while there was no air-con, there was a very good free-standing fan. I read some reports of bad phone/wifi reception and noise and was starting to get a bit apprehensive before I arrived, but that wasn't the case. Yes, it's beside a main road, but it is exactly. As seen on street view - nothing hidden. It isn't a boisterous area - no hours hanging about the streets at night. There's some traffic, but if you book a place on a main road that's hardly a surprise. I was at a poker tournament in the Arena and chose to get a taxi there and back. The return each day was about £12 on average with Bolt. I am going back to the tournament next year and plan to book again.
Not much....only 1 towel when I arrived, but sent a message and had another delivered to the door in a few minutes by a lovely, smiley young man. The owners/management are a bot cool with their correspondence, but I think that could be a cultural thing. I had no problems. My deposit was also returned immediately.
we had to pay a £100 deposit that was not advised before booking. It was difficult to gain access to the building
Awful
Nothing
It was good
The room was clean and I really like it
Ver nice an clean xx will defo return again
Nothing
Good property, great space and ideal location for me Would stay here again. Deposit returned on time as well
Front door said it needed a key but was actually permanently unlocked which was not what we were told. Be nice to actually talk to someone at different times in the night if you have issues.
It was easily accessible.
The room quality was poor, the staff weren't very helpful, the comfort wasnt great. It wasnt an expensive place so its okay in a pinch, but I wouldnt stay again personally.
Room was comfortable and reasonably well equipped.
Two negative points from my stay there. Firstly, despite choosing to use the app to access the room, an entry card was provided on my arrival in the lockbox and I was charged £5 for the privilege, as well as £3 admin fee. So be prepared to pay £8 just to access your room. I appealed this decision but was ignored. Secondly, the room was facing the main road with major roadworks taking place outside, so it was noisy, and windows couldn't be closed because of the heat.
Nothing - I can’t believe that they advertise in the small print a £100 damage deposit to be sent to a random bank account before they let you check in. I refused and ended up leaving to find alternative accomodation. Would never have booked if this was made clearer.
Policies not advertised clearly. I doubt many people would book if they realised a £100 deposit was required before checking in. Customer service was non existent. Truly don’t know why anyone would rebook here.
everything
no toilet paper
Very beautiful room with awesome decoration
No customers care Staff not freindly and aggressive No patient and maner with customer All communication through a chat box Can't reach no one through the phone
I liked the comfy bed and kitchen facilities, although the bin is tiny so not sure how that would be on a longer stay.
The smell of cannabis as you enter the property. Needs to be tighter restrictions on smoking rules in and around the property.
The parking was free. There is an Aldi to grab bits if you need about 2 minutes walk.
The main entrance door was not secure, anyone could walk in just by pulling the door. The room was very dusty on all surfaces, I had to get a spray cleaner and give it a once over. They didn't provide any toilet roll and the toilet itself is square and very uncomfortable to sit on. There is no air-conditioning, a fan is provided but it doesn't work. The floor mat in the bathroom smelt so bad I had to put it outside. I found the bed and pillows to be extremely uncomfortable. The spot lights are extremely glaring and uncomfortable when laying in bed. We had 2 rooms, one was painted a deep purple and the other red, which we found pretty odd and looked like a brothel. There are a lot of unsavoury characters walking about in the vicinity at night.
Nothing. Wouldn’t recommend it as it appears it is run by liars and criminals
The owners are scamming guests and taking money from the £100 damage deposit.
Great location, very clean and car parking at the rear. All you could want for a trip to Coventry.
Nothing, it was great
Simply awful start to finish. Most importantly they trick you into sending a deposit and they cheat and keep some of it. DO NOT GIVE ANY OF YOUR MONEY TO THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE
Great place and easy to access
Cleanliness
Nothing
Nice clean room with a nice comfortable bed
It was to warm even with a fan it was uncomfortable need air con
Quite easy to find and ample parking on arrival. It was during the heatwave, so, thankfully there was a fan. Good quality bed, and enough space for storage, a good table for dining, and a minimal kitchen, to whip together some food.
The property is next to a busy road, so it's not the quietest. The bathroom has no windows, and the ventilation was limited. The log in app with a bluetooth lock is a lot of pfaff for no reason. It obviously didn't work at first, and if your phone dies, you're locked out. The deposit is also a little fishy, you pay £100, they give you back £97, unfair. Alternatively, you can lock the money for 30 days, which we did, but it seems a little long.
Great communication, had everything that was needed, clean apartment
Absolutely nothing...........
Everything from arrival to rooms. Far to much information and 100 pounds deposit which hasn't been advertised oh and got back 97 pounds of my deposit from the 100 pounds, as I challenged them about the 3 pounds missing. First they tell you to download an app which would have a virtual key and does not work then after a good 45 minutes they said I have to pay 100 quid deposit and which I did and ended up getting a pin and taking card from lockbox, nightmare just starting as got in the room and it 30 degrees outside and the room was a sweatbox I booked for 2 nights only spent 1 night as didn't open front ground floor windows as the area was a rough as it gets. I ended up booking else where, will never be back ,even the fan was blowing hot air , never will be back pand should of read the Google reviews and probably of never booked.
Clean and good facilities
Parking on site shops & takeaway near by
Messing about with a security deposit
Facility and cleanliness cant go wrong. Car park and location is spot on
They took a further £15 off my deposit for laundry allegedly. As my partner got a little makeup on the blanket. No where does it mention extra charges for laundry. You'd think sheets get changed regardless of being dirty or not for the next client. But clearly another way to make money. On top of the £3 they already take for "service" charge. So a further £18 deducted from deposit on top of obviously what you've already paid for the room
The whole setup of the apartment, the parking and location
The system to gain entry, very cumbersome process to know if you have done everything right and will get key card
I like that the level of cleanliness is maintained. I'm in Coventry on a monthly basis and I have been staying here for the last 3 years
Unable to reach anyone after 9pm. I've never had a need to but it'll be ideal to have an emergency contact contingency process in place.
The car park
The smell and also didn’t clean the towels and have extra toilet paper
I had a great stay. Check-in was easy and straightforward, with clear self check-in instructions provided by the host beforehand, which made the arrival process completely hassle-free. The onsite parking was a great convenience, and the rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable, and well presented. The location was also excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would happily recommend it.
The apartment was very clean and smelled nice
We had some issue with the fire alarm
Clean and modern
Not much
The property was very clean and in great condition
The noise from the other residents. Lots of door slamming and music playing in the early hours
the bed sheets were dirty, hair stands in the bathroom, toilet was dirty
Esay to get the key (via phone) as the system allows a digital one (standard card key also available). Cooking facilities mean I can cook my meals, rather than have to buy either sandwiches (which can be costly) or eat takeaways (prefer them as a treat, as not the healthiest option). The fridge helps too. Private parking, away from the road, and quick walk into the city centre.
Can't think of anythimg, as this is the hotel I use most weeks, while in Coventry.
It was very clean and cosy and had everything needed. The bed was so comfy.
The set up was very odd with having the wardrobe in the kitchen.
Ease of access, great facilities, nice and quite
Stanza molto bella e accogliente!
Clean and easily accessible I finished work early and was allowed to check in early with a quick phone call
Clean and well kept. It's in a decent area and access is easy enough
The security deposit issue was not properly disclosed, while admittedly, it was a last minute booking, however, finding out you needed to pay it, and then it coming back short makes no sense. What exactly is the charge for? It's incredibly dishonest. Secondly, I'd intended to book a longer stay even with all that said after a short trip away, but response from property owner didn't come when asking for clarification as such had to book elsewhere. Found better accomodation, so maybe that's a plus?
Parking was good. Overall the flat was fine
No air con. I know the hot weather could not be helped but with both of the windows open in the bedroom, bathroom window open and the fan on the thermostat was still reading 31 degrees at midnight. Barely slept all night. Air con would be a wise investment.
I find it the beşt ap in Coventry clean easy comfort thank you sky city ap
Clean comfort
Live this place always nice clean and tidy
Had some food shops and convenience shops across the street. Close proximity to the University and station via cabs. Bathroom was nice
NO AIR CONDITIONING. Absolutely boiling in the room. Room was on the ground floor and thus couldn’t leave the window open as there was no barrier from pedestrians entering the property. Anyone can just walk on and climb into the room. Noisy neighbourhood at night. The fan did nothing in cooling the room down. Communication from Sky City themselves was poor. Loads of instructions, and unjustifiable service fees and deposit requests. Took ages to answer questions if they did answer. They also take £3 from the deposit they request from you (£100) and they only send £97 back. Also be careful when leaving the room as the door doesn’t always close properly and stays unlocked. Finally upon arrival, the floor was not clean, could feel particles on the floor when walking around
It was compact but it had enough facilities for a 3 night stay, a double bed, small kitchen, small table and 2 chairs, hob, fridge and microwave. It had a very nice bathroom with a great power shower but very little space to move around in when you got out of the shower.
I booked this property at the start of the heatwave and there was no air conditioning, just a small desktop fan to try and cool the room. There is no human interaction, it is all booked online with instructions on how to get access to the property once you have paid the fees including a refundable damage deposit of £100 which I didn’t know about until I had reserved the room. The table and chairs were a bit flimsy and I felt I had to be careful that I didn’t break them when I sat down, but thankfully I didn’t break them.
Stayed here several times before so know what to expect. Location perfect for our needs. Comfy bed, good shower, space to sit & to eat, can prepare breakfast. Good value with kitchenette. Thanks for the fan!
Bottom sheet old & scratchy, EV chargers not working (and arrived late so not much parking near them anyway). Appear to be no longer connected. Might affect our choice to stay here if they remain out of use.
Lovely big room Satellite tv on a big television Will return
Nothing
Clean n tidy. Cooking facilities. Tv with apps. Parking. Needed to amend my dates for stay and was completed with no issues and even refunded the difference from previous dates

It was very clean and peaceful.
Location and the deposit situation.
Everything was clean and perfect best place I’ve stayed in Coventry and the cheapest so far
N/A
Very clean well equipped.
Smooth check in
Broken shower head, toilet flush not working properly and unclean. When I requested a short extension to my check out time for a work meeting, it was refused despite challenges at the property.
The check-in system was terrible and the customer service was extremely rude. Before arrival, I was asked to pay a security deposit through a message that felt very unsecure and unprofessional. When I arrived at around 9:00 pm, I was immediately pressured to transfer the money or I would not be allowed to check in, despite being told I would still be charged for the room. The person messaging me was impatient, unhelpful, and showed no understanding of the situation. Once I finally got into the room, I found hair all over the bed, which was unacceptable. The bathroom also had a strong unpleasant smell. To make matters worse, I was charged an additional £5 for no apparent reason, even though I followed all check-out instructions and returned everything as requested. I have since tried to contact the property about these issues, but nobody responds to messages. I would not recommend staying here unless you want unnecessary stress and poor customer service.
The room itself was clean and nicely presented. Minimal noise from outside. We stayed for an event at Coventry Arena which was further than expected... 3 mile walk. Relatively easy to access with Bluetooth key. It was lovely for the one night we stayed. £196 per night.
Communication with the property was difficult. We had to do a bank transfer of £100 for a damage deposit as the LINK option wasn't working... Not ideal especially when both options were given, good job we had £100 otherwise we wouldn't have been able to stay, with LINK the funds are secured but not taken from your account which is a better and more secure way to do this. When it came to getting the deposit back we had to chase this through booking.com as the property were not responding. We were told we would have the deposit back by 6pm on the day of checkout (as per screenshot attached) goalposts were then moved to 48 hours with a £3 fee applied... Had a feeling we would have to chase the deposit and we're right...
Nicely fitted out and well equipped
Terrible smelling drains , extractor fan running excessively keeping us awake neighbours very inconsiderate at 2am banging doors and talking loud
CLEAN,PARKING AND EASY ACCESS
Own kitchen and bathroom. Iron and ironing board. Overall good facilities provided. Biscoff biscuits!
£100 bank account transfer needed for the deposit in order to gain access to the property - this isn’t mentioned at the time of booking. £5 deducted from this upon them returning the deposit to me - because they left out a key card for us (not because it’s lost or anything, just for you to have a keycard for access!), then £3 deducted from your deposit for the privilege of paying a deposit! I would have given a higher rating if this was displayed honestly at the time of booking, but it’s a sneaky process. I will stay closer to the CBS arena next time as the walk was long and complicated. Ended up flagging down a taxi. Walls and ceiling are painted too dark, large TV in the way next to the bed.
Everything we needed for one night
We were attending a concert at the Ricoh arena and it was a little further out than we thought, but this is not a fault of the property.
Everything you needed good location
Toilet didn’t flush
Good location for CBS arena. Free parking. Tea and coffee facilities. Bed was ok.
The toilet did not always flush. Not enough towels for the room (1 large towel, 1 medium towel and 1 hand towel for 2 people). It was real hot - underfloor heating was on and could not be turned off. There was a fan provided. We paid double the normal price because of the gig at the CBS arena.
Corridors were dark, warped flooring in the bathroom, room was too hot, no air conditioning, had to keep windows open all night.
A good place to stay, especially if you want cooking facilities, private parking (off the main road, with CCTV) and a quick walk into the city. It's my go-to hotel for Coventry and I use it most weeks (from one night up to four, depending upon my requirements).
Can't say there's anything I can think of. It matches all my requirements.
Got it! Let’s adjust that review. Checking into a hotel should be simple, but at Sky City Apartments, it was a nightmare. They charge £5 just for a key, unless you use their app, PocketPass. While I managed the app, I can see how it would be tough for older guests. The whole experience, from cobwebs and cleanliness issues to the awkward check-in and a £100 deposit (not fully refunded, only £97), left us feeling unwelcome. The apartment was small, dark, and overall, it’s not a place I’d recommend.
Needs a clean!
Very clean and comfortable. Easy key fob using phone meant checkin was a breeze as all logging on was all done prior to arrival. This meant as soon as we arrived key was there on my phone and we were in in seconds
Comfotable bed.
Hard pillows and hot room
Place was pleasant and cosy
Nothing
Wouldn’t even let us check in
Wouldn’t even let us check in
Very clean there was scratches on the mirrors and a bit of paint scratched before we come in there
The room and facilities available were good. Honestly nothing to complain about. Overall loved our stay!

I love the property, very neat and clean .Cleanness was excellent.Bed is really comfortable.Very happy to see small table fan bec weather was hot and when ever I need help online staff help me thanks
Only one disadvantage in washroom no hook or towel or cloths hang things
Good value for money, apartments aren't usually available at the price I paid. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk. Good size. Clean. Free parking on site. If you required secondary parking, there was space on the road as well.
The area is not the best that's probably reflected in the price. Could do with some fine cleaning in some areas (not a major issue) like top of sockets and switches etc.
