Ryan's River Lodge B&B

I would happily return to this wonderful B & B. The rooms were small but comfortable. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast was spectacular. The location is perfect for exploring Cong and we had no difficulty parking the car

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms and dining room were very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Location could not have been better.

Room was quite small, and toilet/shower was tiny. Barely room to turn around. Probably can't be helped due to the building itself.

Very good hospitality like you can expect from a b&b with an excellent healthy breakfast. Little room but comfortable and very clean and neat. Car park just in the front of b&b with numbered pitch as the bedroom. Juste in the middle of the city centre, perfect for exemple to visite "The Quiet Man"museum. We highly recommend the address everything was perfect...

Just a little bit noisy with the adjoining bedroom where we heard the persons speak high. That's all.

Road noise at night. Windows had to be open to get breeze and vehicles passing by were very loud. Not a fault of the property. Just a inconvenience.

Location was very convenient to all the attractions and amenities, such as the restaurants, Ashford Castle, the Quiet Man Museum, tourist information centre, post office, toilets, petrol station, etc. Convenient to good fishing spots., bicycle hire and walking routes. The B&B provider was really excellent at pointing us in the right direction of what and where was available with things to do in the area. Overall, an excellent location and a knowledgeable host.

The noise throughout the night from the passing traffic on the road outside. It kept going all night long!!

Beautiful spot and a lovely house.

This was a lovely B&B. Martha was an excellent hostess. She made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. There was a fan available, which was very welcome. Breakfast was lovely, especially the sausages 😋. There was enough parking for all rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a room at the front of the house which had lovely views. However, the lorries driving by in the morning made for an early morning awakening 😩. If visiting again we would ask for a room at the back of the house.

Best B&B I have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean amazing breakfast and Martha was lovely we just met Dave once to thank him for two days we had breakfast. Highly recommend Ryan's River Lodge they even supply a fridge for guests which came in very handy because the weather was so hot.

I've been to Cong 4 times now and I can honestly say Ryan's River cottage has been the best by far , Martha the landlady and staff went above and beyond for myself and my 2 sisters which was their first visit they also thought the hospitality was amazing which made their visit perfect , I would definitely recommend Ryan's River cottage to anyone looking to visit Cong ♥️ Thank you for a very enjoyable stay 😊❤️

We had lovely stay. We had check in with young man he was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean lovely view and so comfortable. In morning lady who served us breakfast was really nice, friendly and serve us amazing breakfast . Perfect location

The location was excellent. This was my first time staying in a Bread and Breakfast, and it was the best sleep I have had while traveling through Ireland. The breakfast, room accommodations, and the staff were excellent. I would highly recommend it to others traveling in the area.

Location was perfect by the river, village is quite magical. We loved that we had our privacy and independence with a side entrance key to come and go as we chose. Lovely room and breakfast. Very friendly hosts and staff. Could not fault.

The accommodation is right next to a stream and has parking available in front. The breakfast was delicious and served hot. The room was clean, convenient, and close to a supermarket.

Distance from town was not for people with mobility issue

Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked for the time you requested. There was also cereal, yogurts and fruit on offer as well as a variety of cooked breakfast. Martha was a great host and very knowledgeable about all the sites we asked about. This trip was all about The Quiet man but my husband will be back for a fishing trip which they also organise.

There really was no negatives about our stay at Ryan’s River Lodge B&B.

It was so nice to crawl into bed, after a busy day, to wonderful smelling bed linens...the rooms themselves were so clean and fresh.

Absolutely loved this B & B !! Martha was so lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was the best we had during our holiday in Ireland ! The location of the B&B is perfect , right opposite the river and near to the abbey and a lovely area for a walk. Cong is quite a sleepy little place ( in March anyway ) but we had a lovely evening in the local pubs and found one with live music. Would definitely like to return!

Les murs n’étant pas très insonorisés , les occupants de la chambre voisine ont regardé la TV jusqu’à qu’on fâche : il était 2 heure du matin… C’est juste une question de politesse de personnes et non la faute de l’établissement.
