Cleanliness superb, lacation is great and also near the dam. Breakfast was delicious and prepared on time. Great staff, welcoming and very great service.

Shower takes time to warm the water and the water get cold while busy showering.

Breakfast was wonderful, had a nice variety and I liked the fact that we were given an option of the time we can have it, so we did not have to wake up super early. The room was clean and neat, great customer service from Carla and her staff.

This is just me - I did not like the fact that the bathroom and bedroom is an open plan, not much privacy, but that's just how I am wired.

Breakfast was the best and Carla went all out to prepare our breakfast on time and on point. Her staff is as friendly and very respectful as well.

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Carla is a wonderful and bubbly host. She accommodated our dietary requirements for breakfast. We requested no meat so she got a little extra stuff for us like muffins and pancakes and fruit.

This is in no control of the host or accommodation, but the overgrowth of the hyacinth on the dam mixed with litter thrown into the dam is an eyesore.

The host was so nice from the moment I booked till I checked out. Many times you book to stay somewhere and seldom meet the hosts but here you get welcomed by Carla’s warm energy and I remember we even had a long conversation which just made me love my stay here even more. The views are insane and the breakfast is also so nice . I loved how peaceful the place is.. even for walks . I would come back The staff is also so kind

The place lives up to its name, definitely cozy for a couple. Lovely views, the host was very helpful. When we encountered an issue with the shower she made sure it was attended to. Made sure breakfast was ready for us at the time we requested. Absolutely loved it here. Will go back again when I’m in Haarties

Upon arrival we were told that breakfast would be served at 9, which is really late especially for people who are there for a night or have activities lined up, we even had to make a request to have it earlier, which was done

The host treated us very well, she made sure we were settled and even before check-in, she checked in on us. She sent a list of activities to while we are there. Even though we checked in very late she was understanding and waited for us. The facilities were great, place was cozy and warm, well cleaned up. I would like to come back and in summer and see the experience then

Our host was a darling, she went am extra mile for each one of her guests. She explain everything, and she is so sweet together with her stuff. The dam view was everything in the morning.

It was really nice and quiet. The room was clean, the staff is super helpful. Carla is on the premises and always ready to help. Also loved that she sent us activities ahead of our stay which helped me plan the trip.

Breakfast was lovely and not the same meal every day. The log cabin was the absolute best!! Cosy and an Nincredible view! Carla was an absolute darling, very hands-on and on top of things, even though she gives you your space. I would happily go back!

Room 4 is exceptionally cold. It was warm outside but supper chilly inside. If an airconditioner can be added in the room it will go a long way to keep the room warm.

The place is cozy as the name and it offers spacious rooms and rejuvenating facilities. It worth the price or more. Plus the security to the village is well secured. We forgot to state our diet requirement when booking but we were sorted!

The host was very friendly and engaging with guests. Very knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The views are amazing, there's peace and quiet. I personally loved the frequent raws from the lions across the dam.

The view is stunning from the chalet. Proximity to surrounding areas is convenient. Facilities are very clean. Host is lovely- has lots of great recommendations for activities in the area and restaurants to eat at. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice - they are able to make adjustments based on request for dietary restrictions.

The staff was absolutely amazing. I had an issue with the TV remote late at night, and they went out of their way to get it sorted immediately. If you’re looking for an incredible getaway to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the perfect place to go.

The bed was comfortable but a bit noisy. It would have been nice to have winter sheets. The gas shower did not work well, the water would get cokd mid-shower.

I like that it is exactly where it has been advertised to be, close to the dam. I like the place outside so beautiful, I rate it 8/10 because of poor parking.

I didn’t like the room at all, I rate it 3/10, the toilet with no door on top on the bed, I felt like I was in prison. The furniture in the room was no value for money even my house is very beautiful, It didn’t feel like a holiday room, so small, no chair we had to seat on the bed, no tv stand, poor room setup.

The location is really great as it offers beautiful views across the dam. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained. Carla is extremely accommodating and also very thoughtful. She’s very hands on and her staff are also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great too. I would’ve perhaps liked a fruit option, but the English breakfast was very good. There is also a braai facility and you may use the kitchen microwave to warm any foods. Local takeout can be delivered right to your door, if you feel like staying in and watching a bit of Netflix.
