I liked the location.

There was never any staff or front desk person ever available to ask for any assistance.

My room was fantastic on the top floor facing west. Some people were commenting that their room was noisy. I saw a few silverfish in the bathroom over my 21 day stay. My room entry pad was fussy and it frustrated me but it was corrected and I was given a key. Send messages to the Sonder app I tightened the shower door handle, the toilet handle and the shower soap hardware...that could have been done by staff My horizontal blind was fixed at 3/4 closed but I didn't mind.

L’emplacement tout près des rues Mont-Royal et St-Denis, l’accueil des travailleurs sur place, la propreté des lieux, les bons matelas et literie, tout est de bonne qualité.

L'insonorisation avec l'extérieur et les chambres voisines est tres tres mauvaise. Cela perturbe grandement le séjour. Le prix du check in/out early est exorbitant.

Quartier animé, station de métro proche de l’appartement, boulangerie au pied de l’immeuble, appartement spacieux, pratique, présence lave-linge et sèche-linge. Wi-fi ok

It was super comfortable and the location was amazing.

Emplacement idéal pour une visite de Montréal. Proximité du métro,on peut profiter du quartier qui est le plus vivant de la ville. Enfin on peut partir en randonnée sur le mont royal directement à pied depuis le logement. Les fournitures comprises ( café,thé,sanitaire,lessive)simplifient le séjour. Je recommande.

L'absence d'un représentant de l'organisation. L'alarme incendie couinait toutes les 60 secondes et nousnavonspu voir personne pour regler ce problème L'alarme incendie s'est déclenchée en grillent les toasts. Personne.ne pour l'arrêter.

Nous n’avons pas réservé de petit déjeuner. Grosse erreur de notre part

Not the exact unit in the photo. I'm ok with it, but there are some noise and smell from the street due to the location.

Le quartier, on se sent comme dans un village. Il est facile de se garer le soir. Les produits en libre service (body lotion, pastille lave linge…).

Impossible d’arrêter la clim.

Loved our time in this apartment. The area is bustling with lots of bars and eateries. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a power outage when we arrived but sonder responded promptly to our query and kept us up to date with what was happening. Great service. It's very close to the metro into the city but has lots of parks nearby so you get the joy of not being in the city but easy to get there when you wish. As a lady in her 40's I travelled alone into the city to see a show and both the metro and the streets felt very safe

If you're looking for somewhere quiet at night, this is not the apartment for you. Saying that, it was college orientation week so this may have made it louder at night than normal.

The apartment was clean and spacious for 5 people. The kitchen featured all necessary items to be useful. The location. Is perfect with lots of restaurants and shops around In a vibrant neighborhood. We had a problem with a dryer, that was addressed by the staff quickly and resolved in minutes.

Tout était parfait, emplacement idéal, pas de clés mais un code qui facilite les allers venus. Très propres et tous les équipement nécessaires, notamment de quoi cuisiner et faire la lessive.

Rien, à la limite juste le manque d’insonorisation entre pièce principale et salle de lavage quand une machine tourne.

The location was great. Very close to the metro station and close to shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet.

The a/c unit worked very well but it would have been nice to have it in the bedroom instead of the living area for those of us who like sleeping with fans. But it worked well and the room was very comfortable.

Excellent location near av. Mont-Royal with lots of restaurants and cafes, easy walking distance from Mont-Royal metro station, spacious room.

Bed was a little bit hard. Sonder changed its login system between the time I registered and the time I arrived, causing some delay on arrival.

Très bien situé dans un quartier animé, mais au calme. L'appartement est bien équipé. Très pratique pour se rendre au centre ville (station de métro à proximité). Cela fait plusieurs fois que nous réservons à Sonder le Guérin.

L'absence de présence humaine peut poser problème, par exemple en cas de panne d'un appareil. On peut contacter par messagerie: réactivité d'une IA, puis, sur place, d'un technicien (un humain sympathique!) qui constate la panne de l'appareil mais ensuite il ne s'est rien passé. Ce n'était pas bien grave (le sèche linge en panne) mais ce n'était pas pratique.

The location was brilliant and the easy access and no contact check in was great.

There was a strong unpleasant odor in the apartment for the first 3 days. It was a mix of cleaning products and something else. The bed could be bigger, especially because the room is large.

Location was fabulous.

We needed refills of tea etc because we stayed a week. Staff was super nice and showed me where to restock myself.

Chambre impeccable, parfaitement équipée, propre, lumineuse et confortable. Literie de qualité. Isolation phonique efficace malgré une chambre au rez-de-chaussée. Contact aisé, accès facile. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous reviendrons!

De devoir quitter les lieux à la fin du séjour...

J'avais réservé une chambre de type "Studio Lit Queen-Size", dont l'annonce indique 52m2, et dont les photos montrent très clairement un coin salon avec canapé, télé, etc. En arrivant dans la chambre 401 vers 20h, je constate qu'il n'y a aucun coin salon, et que la chambre fait nettement moins de 52m2 (probablement plutôt 35). Bref, elle ne correspond manifestement pas à la description. Sur le moment, je crois simplement à une erreur, ça arrive après tout. J'appelle donc le numéro indiqué à la réception. Etant passé 18h, seul le service en anglais est disponible (pas sûr que ce soit très légal au Québec, mais peu importe, je parle anglais couramment). J'appelle donc, et la personne au téléphone me sort des énormités du genre "les photos ne sont là que pour la représentation", et quand je lui explique que c'est pas comme ça que la loi fonctionne : "on fait comme ça chez Sonder". Donc évidemment je m'énerve, parce qu'elle est littéralement en train de m'expliquer "on vous a arnaqué et on assume". Je lui demande donc de trouver une solution, et elle me dit qu'il n'y a aucune autre chambre dispo de toute la semaine, ni dans ce bâtiment, ni dans d'autres. Je demande donc à ce qu'on me rembourse, ce qu'elle refuse (si j'ai bien compris, parce que son manager lui a déjà dit de refuser si je demandais !). Je cherche à creuser un peu pour savoir si la chambre de la photo existe vraiment, et quel pourcentage des chambres louées sous l'appellation "Studio Lit Queen-Size" ont réellement un coin salon. Elle bafouille un peu et me donne des informations contradictoires, d'abord que c'est la seule comme ça, puis qu'elles sont toutes comme ça sauf une... Bref, devant l'absence de coopération évidente, je raccroche, et décide de gérer ça directement avec Booking le lendemain.

Je résume toute la situation dans un message sur Booking pour garder trace du litige. Sonder me disent qu'ils vont m'envoyer quelqu'un "très bientôt". Plusieurs heures se passent, je les relance pour savoir si leur définition de "très bientôt" ne serait pas un peu large, et ils me disent que quelqu'un passera LE LENDEMAIN. Foutage de gueule total, disons le. Je décide donc de réserver un autre logement. En attendant qu'il soit prêt, je reste dans la chambre, et vers 18h, quelqu'un vient taper à ma porte. Très gentil, c'est le premier employé de Sonder à savoir faire son travail. Il comprend bien la situation, il admet complètement qu'il y a une différence avec l'annonce (ce qui est évident pour quiconque a des yeux et de l'honnêteté), et me dit qu'ils ont une chambre qui correspond à me proposer. (la personne au téléphone la veille m'a donc soit menti, soit avait les mauvaises infos) J'ai vu la chambre, et effectivement elle existe, mais malheureusement j'avais déjà réservé ailleurs en non remboursable, donc je n'ai pas pu accepter la proposition. J'ai ensuite ENFIN reçu un message d'excuses de Sonder qui m'a proposé de me rembourser les nuits non passées dans l'établissement. Heureusement que quelqu'un de compétent a fini par voir qu'il y avait un souci et que Sonder était en tort. Cela dit, ça me semble révéler deux très graves problèmes : 1) Sonder loue une chambre qui ne correspond pas à la description (et à ma connaissance c'est toujours le cas, je ne vois pas de listing distinct pour ce type de chambre). C'est très clairement illégal (au Canada et en France), et honnêtement je ne sais pas pourquoi Booking n'oblige pas immédiatement Sonder à corriger ça. 2) Le problème a mis 24h à être résolu, avec une communication absolument catastrophique, alors même qu'une chambre était dispo !

The location was excellent and despite being in a lively neighbourhood, the room was very quiet.

Location is great. Seemed generally clean.

No visible onsite staff to help you check in, etc., just cleaners somewhere presumably. The online check in process is tedious (and god help you if you have issues accessing the internet while traveling internationally). Toilet was running when we entered the room, but I was able to fix that myself. AC was weirdly difficult to manage.

No pude ingresar con el código que me brindaron. Por suerte se encontraba uno de los responsables que me facilitó un nuevo código de ingreso. Increíble que esto pase. Punto a mejorar. El barrio se volvió más ruidoso.

L'emplacement est idéal, au coeur du plateau et proche du parc Mont Royal. Le studio est bien équipé. L'arrivée est facile et nous avons apprécié le fait de pouvoir utiliser l'espace de stockage des bagages le jour de notre départ, jusqu'à 22h.

Nous y avons séjourné 6 jours mais nous avons été extrèmement déçus d'être au rez-de-chaussée, avec vue sur le mur d'en face et sur une ruelle sale, jonchée de détritus et dégageant une odeur désagréable. Nous ne pouvions donc pas ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer. Cela contrastait complètement avec la photo présentée sur la réservation qui montrait une jolie vue dégagée depuis un étage supérieur. Nous avons réclamé d'être transférés dans une chambre correspondant à cette photo, après avoir discuté une heure avec le service client, on nous a promis de faire quelque chose, mais nous n'avons plus eu de nouvelles jusqu'à un e-mail une semaine plus tard disant qu'on ne pouvait pas nous transférer. Nous étions déjà loin de Montreal de toute façon. C'était la 3 ème fois que nous séjournions dans cet établissement et la première fois où nous avons été déçus. Pourquoi ne pas montrer la photo réelle de la chambre qu'on s'apprête à louer et nous laisser décider si on l'accepte ou non ? Nous ne reviendrons plus dans cet établissement et nous le regrettons.

Très bien placé, quartier vivant mais étions au calme, très bien insonorisé, tous les équipements à disposition … literie très confortable… rien à redire en fait !

The location was amazing. We loved the pedestrian streets, and there were so many places to find good food and drinks. The apartment itself was lovely. Getting more supplies for the apartment was easy. And so great to have a laundry in the apartment!

The air conditioning unit was probably in need of a service; it iced over and was leaking and making a lot of noise. The dryer also left black marks on our clothes unfortunately.

La localisation est top, le stationnement est possible dans la rue à la journée, il faut connaître! (Voir sur le site du stationnement de Montréal), grand appartement en duplex, très bien équipé. Une bonne expérience donc.

Die Lage! Mitten drin aber ruhig. Die Bäckerei im Erdgeschoss ist super.

Truck making delivery to bakery ran engine for 30 minutes filling our apartment with exhaust fumes.

Clean, air conditioned, washing machine. Large clean space.

We were fine with parking but worried about it. Clearer instructions with parking would help ease the worry.

The location is the reason. It is my favorite area. Very clean place. Comfy bed. Excellent shower products.

We loved our stay and I always appreciate staying somewhere with a full kitchen! This apartment is in a very cool spot and felt very comfortable and safe amidst a busy metropolitan area.

Stay was overshadowed by a non-functioning air conditioning unit, during a heat wave stay in the summer. A/C was not functioning on arrival, staff informed me over chat that it would be fixed the following day. It was not. They said the task was escalated to 'urgent'. Not fixed the following day either. I slept terribly the entire trip. Very frustrating when A/C was a critical factor when booking. No face to face interaction the entire stay. I felt neglected and unsupported. Clearly Marriott / Sonder underestimates what is required to maintain apartment units. Also, wifi connection was terrible in the unit.

Lovely spacious and clean apartment, perfect location.

Communication was disorganized and unclear. The air conditioning was broken and wasn’t fixed for almost two weeks, despite multiple messages I sent on the app, by email, and even when I called them. Conflicting messages about when maintenance would arrive and about checkout times. An employee came by once and was very nice, but the communication overall was really not ideal.

Air conditioning was questionable at best. Furniture was a little wobbly.

The AC didn’t work and the room was hot and stuffy. We got in touch with them every single day asking for someone to come look at the AC. We were promised someone everyday and even told it had been looked at implying the AC was fixed. Nothing. We finally checked out early to find a different hotel.

Fantastic lively and central location in the Plateau, but my room at the back was very quiet. Clean, spacious, all the amenities. Recommend.

It was close to the metro, to restaurants. It’s a very good location. It was grey quiet during the night even on the weekends.

The entire place was very dusty. Especially on the walls in the bathroom, which probably comes from the filthy air conditioning filter. This is something that can be cleaned monthly. We do that at home as well. Same goes for the filter in the dryer, that filter can be vacuumed to keep it clean. Also something that can be from time to time. What I don’t like is, when I found hair in the bathroom, something g that is not acceptable especially in the shower and sink. There is place for improvements.

First time with the Sonder company definitely will be back to this location and future locations that they have. They have a great concept that makes it feel like your home away from home.

Lovely apartment, very spacious, kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was great. Bedroom was comfortable and the lounge space was nice.

The delicious smelling patisserie that was underneath us that woke us up every morning and made me eat fresh croissant!
