The hotel is in a good location and the property itself is beautiful and impressive. Our upgraded one-bedroom apartment was spacious, with a separate bedroom, kitchen, dining area and living room. The extra space was appreciated.

I originally booked a Premier Double and accepted an upgrade to a One-Bedroom Double for an additional ¥15,000 (approximately A$134). The confirmation specifically stated “Total Additional Amount: JPY 15,000,” with no mention that further taxes or fees would be added. I was therefore disappointed to be charged additional amounts on arrival. The upgraded room was spacious, but unfortunately not particularly comfortable. The bed felt small for an upgraded room and the mattress was very hard. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable, and the TV was positioned too high above the seating area, making it uncomfortable to watch. I was also surprised that the TV was not a Smart TV. We could only watch local channels and CNN, with no access to Netflix or YouTube. We had just stayed at Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo, which appeared less luxurious but provided a Smart TV where we could enjoy Netflix and YouTube. For an upgraded one-bedroom apartment at Citadines Namba Osaka, I expected at least the same level of comfort and facilities.

Свежий и современный апарт-отель, поддерживаемый в прекрасном состоянии. Наш номер был небольшим, но очень комфортным и оснащенным всем необходимым. Классно было освежить одежду после уже длительного путешествия в прачечной самообслуживания. Станции метро в 5-7 минутах ходьбы.

The location was great, the rooms and hotel facilities were lovely, and the pillows were amazing! The coin laundry on our floor was a blessing after many days of travel. The community food hall downstairs was a bonus.

The location was convenient. A 10 minute walk from the main station, 5 minutes to the nearest metro station. Fairly quiet as away from the super busy parts but still within walking distance.

Nothing really. It would have been nice if there was a lounge or bar to relax in. Perhaps it was there but we didn’t see it.

It’s very new, modern and spacious. Beds and pillows are comfortable. It has excellent facilities and the staff is very friendly. It’s also very well located, a short walk away from many attractions. We loved it.

La atención del personal de recepción y especialmente el recepcionista que hablaba español . La habitación es grande , comprando con lo habitual en las grandes ciudades de Japón . Baño nuevo e impecable Lavandería con secadoras a moneda A 10 minutos de la estación de Namba y de metro . Restaurantes ,supermercados y tiendas de manga cercanas.

Modern, clean and location cannot be beat

The location.

The front desk staff has attitude. I have indicated in my booking to have a less noisy room but was instead put near the corridor and lounge area even after repeat reminder. No common sense . And no smile on their face. Unlike Double tree Hilton , the staff are all with smile and greetings. The room has no dresser. Accomodation not recommended for those who do make up.

Citadines Namba is an absolutely beautiful hotel. It was comfortable and had all necessary amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

Posizione centralissima, in zona Namba, che permette di girare buona parte del centro a piedi. Stazione del treno e della matrona 3minuti. Ottima struttura e personale molto accogliente e disponibile. Buona colazione internazionale. Consiglio vivamente la spedizione del bagaglio nella città successiva attraverso il servizio che l’hotel mette a disposizione.

La habitación (nos dieron un upgrade) y la ubicación, cerca de restaurantes, cafés y de la estación de tren.

Très belle expérience dans cet hôtel ! L’établissement est agréable, bien entretenu et nous nous y sommes sentis très bien dès notre arrivée. Le vrai point fort reste le personnel : toujours disponible, attentif, souriant et extrêmement serviable. Ils ont pris le temps de nous accompagner et de nous aider à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin, ce qui est vraiment appréciable dans un pays où la barrière de la langue peut parfois compliquer les échanges. Leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme ont largement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous repartons avec une très bonne impression et recommandons cet hôtel sans hésiter.

L’emplacement idéal dans un quartier très animé. Le personnel à l’écoute. La chambre spacieuse.

Pas de douche, uniquement une baignoire avec un rideau de douche en PVC, franchement c’est un peu obsolète.

Spacious room, we have a very good experience staying for 3 nights in this historical building. Everything was so good in this hotel. The location is also we good, we have many choices for dinning and shopping nearby.

Location was perfect for us who are anime and manga fans. Every big anime store was on this street. Also Dotonbori and Namba station was very close, walkable distance. Stuff went over and beyond to make it the best possible. Very nice with laundromat for us who are staying weeks in Japan. All was perfect.

Ich wäre gerne noch geblieben:-) Die Ausstattung, das Interieur, das Zimmer, die Betten, die Annehmlichkeiten, man kann sich Kaffee holen, Wasser und Bonbon. Nos tenían la habitación preparada antes de la hora y nos hicieron un upgrade. Habitación super espaciosa, teníamos hasta cocina, cama cómoda. Muy bien. Ubicación muy buena, a 10 minutos escasos andando de Glico y muy bien comunicado.

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WILL CANCEL YOU LAST SECOND IF THEY CAN SELL THE ROOM FOR A MORE EXPENSIVE RATE** The most bizarre service experience of my life. 48 hours before my reservation was cancelled out of the blue. I gave them a call asking if there'd be an issue and if we could resolve it. The person I spoke to was just bizarre. At first he insisted that the cancellation notification was a scam - I knew it wasnt. The implication here is notable which ill circle back to. Then he started shouting at me saying I should have booked direct - it was startling - I was being perfectly friendly and jovial with him and he just started being unbelievably aggressive. He started shouting at me rebook it then but I said this doesnt seem fair as presumably it would be on a new rate given its 48 hours before. I asked to speak to the manager and his name, he said he was the manager and wouldnt give his name. He then just hung up on me and left me and my wife with nowhere to stay, 48 hours before we arrive. It's only after ive pieced it together. We got a really good rate on our room when we booked it. The same room had 2x'd in price. The earlier implication - this hotel will leave you with nowhere to stay at the last second because they think they can get more for the hotel and wont honour their original price. Even if it seems like a good deal there is no price worth the stress of this on your travels and these are not people you should give your hard earned money to. Im not sure if theres been a change of management or the reviews here are spurious but you can check my previous reviews im generally quite generous. Scandalous behaviour, avoid at all costs.

Este hotel es perfecto para visitar Osaka: tiene ubicación fantástica muy cerca del ambiente de Osaka pero con la tranquilidad de no estar cerca, los servicios que ofrece son muy buenos, las habitaciones muy cómodas y el personal es muy amable. Lo recomendaría x1000 para familias con niños ya que cuenta con una sala de juegos totalmente equipada que nos encantó, además, dejaron un detalle en la habitación para nuestra hija pequeña.

Estaría bien ofrecer una ducha de cortesía para después del check-out.

Staff was very helpful, either with the rooms and with recommendations for restaurants. There is a very comfortable residents room with free coffee and space to relax. The rooms are large compared to other hotels in Japan

The location was great, convenience stores nearby, 5 to 7 minutes walk to Kurumon Market and Train Station. Hotel was clean, great customer service and amenities.

The bed was too firm for my liking, feels like a cardboard with a thin foam.. I requested a lot of pillows to make it bearable.

Rooms need to be little bigger

We loved the location, being close to Dotonbori, and subway stations. The children's play room and lounge were excellent. The buffet breakfast was also good and had a good variety of items for everyone. Ie, pancakes for my son, eggs, yogurt, Asian options, and coffee for the adults.

The bathroom was tiny and the space around the beds was tight. I would have expected a better room for the price. The decor was very nice, so that was a plus.
