I did like the breakfast

Very steep stairs to level two. Very slippery floor tiles, especially around the pool area which was extremely dangerous. Staff we’re not as friendly as other hotels we have stayed in.

Tendrían q actualizar un poco el estilo y tienen poco cuidado a la hora de reprender a huéspedes ruidosos, las paredes son muy finas y como te toque un vecino que salga de marcha se le oye en todo el hotel( no lo recomiendo para familias ni en temporada alta por el nivel de ruido)también nos sorprendió que la habitación no la hicieron hasta la tarde y que el desayuno es más barato en el bar del hotel que el del propio hotel

Amazing stay

The location was close walk to restaurants both in the village and the beach boardwalk. We had a pool access room and the pool was a good size,depth and temperature.The outside porch was a great place to sit.There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and staff were lovely throughout the hotel.The gym was good.We will stay again😊

Apart from the weak Wi-Fi signal, everything else was quite good. I really liked the swimming pool. The walk-in room with direct pool access was nice, although it felt a little damp. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and most of them are quite good. There is also a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The river nearby is not very clean, and you can see the river water flowing directly into the sea. This made the beach feel a little less clean, although the beach itself was okay. The hotel is quite close to FantaSea, about a 15-minute walk. There is also a night market nearby with lots of things to explore and plenty of places to eat. We didn’t book breakfast and mostly ate at 7-Eleven instead. The garden-view rooms are surrounded by greenery and give you the feeling of staying in a forest, which I found quite interesting and relaxing. Overall, I think this hotel offers very good value for money. The beach is right across from the hotel, and the location is convenient for restaurants, convenience stores, FantaSea, and the night market.

Very slippery pathways dangerous in the rain. Staff were okay but very slow service suggests more training required to improve efficiency and guest experience. The room servicing was often not done until late afternoon.

Great location directly opposite the beach and heaps of shops, eateries, tours etc along the street. The garden bungalows at the back were quiet and shaded with a generous outside deck which overlooked a pretty pond with birds and greenery. The buffet breakfast was very good and varied.

It’s a very extensive resort with so many rooms, villas and bungalows. We were there in ‘low’ season so it was not too crowded but would be a different experience if it was very busy ( pool area, breakfast seating). The garden bungalow had only one power outlet unless you unplugged the television ( to boil the kettle) or the bedside lamp ( to charge devices) Unfortunately the water in the pool made my eyes sting badly so I couldn’t enjoy the pool but other people were using it.

Very convenient, right on the beach, helpful staff and all the shops and travel agency near by, no taxi needed unless u want to go to another city.

Some evening the offensive smell From the nearby hospital was strong but nothing was to much.

C'est un hôtel qui ne présente pas les normes d'hygiène et par conséquent de sécurité pour la santé. Les draps étaient sales. Nous avons dû demander de changer de draps. La chambre sent l'humidité. Les mouchoirs sentent la moisissure. Le petit déjeuner est très décevant. Je ne recommande absolument pas. Nous avons dû écourter notre séjour dans cet hôtel en raison de l'hygiène qui faisait défaut.

Extremely unsafe hotel. Hotel management refused to address our safety concerns regarding dangerous extremely drunk and high hotel guest continually harassing and stalking us. Guest passed out in the pool at midnight and my friend and I and guests from the neighbouring room had to assist with first aid as hotel staff was unwilling and untrained to do so. Hotel's only remedy offered was to move the guest to another room. This achieves absolutely nothing as she was continually harassing and stalking us, trying to get into our room, grabbing us in the pool, getting on to our private balcony and taking our personal property, taking her clothes off on our balcony. We were forced to move to another hotel as we were extremely concerned for our safety. Booking dot com did absolutely nothing to assist us. Hotel is still refusing to accept any responsibility or even refund us for unused nights.

Garden pond and large balcony size in cottages at back of resort are lovely for a longer stay. Bathroom in some of these cottages is more spacious and useable than others. The main Pool now it has been retiled is a lovely size with clean surrounds. Location to beach, 7/11 for daily needs, nearly restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets is excellent. Cleaning staff were friendly and efficient, very good standard of cleaning.

Mattresses are So Thai - like concrete! Friendly suggestion: Would love a microwave in the larger sized cottages at back ( then we could stay a month or 2 each year)

Location across the road to the beach, lots of restaurants and 7/11. Our room was on the 2nd floor, steep stairs, so could be a problem for some. Good sized room that was serviced daily. The bathroom seems dark but is actually beautifully tiled. Plenty of hot water.

The pool had far to much chlorine, most people had goggles, we ended up just swimming at the beach. The pool surround was laminated flooring, so incredibly slippery when water and v hot. The pool at one end had steps and slopes to enter, which made it dangerous especially for children.

Great rooms. Close to the beach. Decent breakfast (but lacking healthy granola and yoghurt).

No complaints about the property other than this not being suited for people with disabilities (no elevator). We felt the area was flooded with the type of tourists we usually avoid. Therefore the review is focused on purely the property.

Nothing not to like

Security was unable to control an extremely inebriated guest who started stalking us, trying to get into our room in the middle of the night, grabbing at us and taking our towels and clothes from the balcony. Refusing to leave our balcony, attempting to open our door, moving our heavy balcony furniture around in the middle of the night. She later passed out in the pool in the middle of the night and we had to repeatedly call security and repeatedly asked them to call her an ambulance, they were extremely unqualified for this situation and unaware that she needed to be in the recovery position to avoid choking while ambulance arrived. Having other guests responsible for dragging unconscious guest from the pool, putting her in recovery position and monitoring her welfare, is not acceptable. The hotel is not trained in first aid procedures or security. This guest continued to try getting into our room the following day in the early hours of the morning after returning from hospital. We felt unsafe at the resort. Management did absolutely nothing apart from moving her to another room in the resort, which will not fix anything. They also told us that police had been notified at 1.30am on the 7th August however this was a lie, we had to go and file police report the next day. She also broke a glass right next to the pool which is extremely dangerous for other swimmers. This woman was significantly bigger and stronger than us and we were scared for our wellbeing and had to cut short our stay, hotel reception refused to refund us for the unused nights. I have referred the incident to my travel agency and travel insurance company for further investogation. We had to hastily leave this hotel and book alternative accommodation at our own expense , for our personal safety.

Heel mooi hotel. Grote comfortabele kamer met groot en lekker bed. Goed matras. Heerlijk zwembad met ligbedden. Het ligt op loopafstand van het strand van kamala beach. Er zijn aan het strand leuke restaurantjes. Ook zijn er wat winkeltjes voor souvenirs en een supermarkt in de straat van het hotel. We liepen ook naar een leuke night market.

Etwas älters Hotel in guter Lage. Strand in ca 50 Metern. Vom Frühstücksraum kann man aufs Meer blicken. Schöne kleine Thai Restaurants direkt am Strand.

Betten sind eine Katastrophe, sehr hart! Zustellbett für ein älteres Kind auch eine Zumutung.

The resort is older and not beachfront. You must walk to beach from hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. They will not let you check-in early … not even if it is 5 minutes early, therefore I arrived to a crowded outdoor lobby filled with tourist. Now my reason for the two stars was because I requested specifically for a room away from the pool area as pool areas are always noisy. My assigned room was on the 5th floor of the resort (no elevator) overlooking the main pool area. I contacted the lobby and the receptionist moved me to another room……overlooking another smaller pool 🤔🤔which was noisy . Would I stay here again—NO. I also requested a nonsmoking room but room had a used ashtray in it🤔. Had I not prepaid for the room I would have left. I did not ask for another room change bc there seems to be miscommunication somewhere, so I used the power of the pen😞😞.

We four (two couples) visited yesterday and asked to view where we would be staying when we checked in today to our prepaid rooms. The walk from Kamala beach over the little bridge was rubbish strewn, litter everywhere, rotting. It stank. I acknowledge that this is not the fault of this hotel, but this background environment is something that may influence your decision about whether you stay here. (Amongst other things!) When we went to reception there was a particularly sour and unhelpful youngish man on duty who obviously would not pass the "how to be a professional and congenial host" criteria. No, he couldn't tell us where our rooms were, they would be allocated the next day, but we were permitted to walk around and look. The photo's of the pool have it appearing more elongated than it is, digitally enhanced. The actual size would've meant that given the colossal amount of rooms crammed around it to extract maximum revenue, it would get crowded. The property showed it's age and some areas needed urgent maintenance. Before we left we visited the cafe at the front of the property. As we sat outside a malodorous sewerage stench wafted up from the drain grate close by. Pleasant ambience? Well, if you are of the rodent genus, perhaps. However, any rodent that dared to tackle once of the strawberry cakes we had there yesterday, would need to visit a vet for dental restoration. Ancient, dry++ offerings. In a word, summing up. Vile.

This is a quiet hotel, perfect for a relaxing holiday. I like the large swimming pool, great for families and children loved the kidclub.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would definitely come back! The location is perfect—right on the beachfront with beautiful views. There are plenty of great cafés and restaurants within walking distance, and it’s easy to get anywhere from here. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our flight wasn’t until 11:00 PM, and even after we checked out, they let us stay at the hotel, provided us with fresh towels so we could enjoy one last swim, and even offered us drinks while we waited. That level of hospitality made a huge difference and really showed how much they care about their guests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Great location, excellent service, and wonderful staff. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable!

The staff were without a doubt the highlight of our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and genuinely wanted to help. When our air conditioner stopped working, three staff members came almost immediately and had it fixed within a couple of hours. The tropical gardens are beautiful and give the resort a peaceful, luxury feel. The pool was lovely, especially the swim-up bar, and the location is fantastic. Kamala Beach has all the atmosphere of Phuket while still feeling relaxed, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Unfortunately, the resort itself feels like it's been neglected. We visited during the low season, and while I understand that's often when maintenance happens, there was no indication that work was being carried out. Instead, the property simply felt tired. The Garden Cottage wasn't very welcoming. A bit dark, hard beds and the toilet is so close to the shower! The one towel per person, per day policy felt unnecessarily stingy, particularly given the average quality of the towels and the low occupancy. Breakfast was fairly underwhelming, although not the worst we've had. Parts of the pool area were also very slippery and felt like they need more than just warning signs. Lastly, the happy hour "buy two, get one free" promotion isn't very practical unless you're sharing. A simple discount on drinks would be a much better option.

Het hotel ligt dichtbij het strand, leuk straatje met veel restaurants en de 7/11. Er is een poolbar voor eten en drinken. Je kan ook bij je ligbed laten bezorgen. Groot zwembad, met waterval, mooie ruime kamers met mooi opgemaakte bedden. Het personeel had iets heel moois uitgeknipt en op bed gelegd.

The hotel is 100m from the beach and a stunning beach. We had rooms that looked out onto the main road but the sky at sunset was stunning. The room was lovely and cleaned ever day. The staff were amazing and wonderfully polite and helpful. The pool is great and the pool bar is a nice touch.

The grounds are disgusting, and the room is so overwhelming of fake air freshener plugged into each outlet to mask the smell of mildew. We turned around the second we got there and they refused to issue a refund. Hotel was disgusting and once we complained they treated us terribly. Do NOT waste your money here.

Персоналът беше много любезен, имаше възможност за съхранение на багажа в деня на настаняване и напускане (в рамките на няколко часа). Закуската беше достатъчно разнообразна и вкусна. La piscina molto bella vicino alla spiaggia, la camera molto bella all’inizio l’abbiamo trovato preparata per il benvenuto molto bello davvero si sono impegnati tanto. il personale molto cordiale e presente a aiutarti . La struttura è vicino a negozietti e ristoranti. Apprezzato tanto la loro ospitalità.

La pulizia in camera c’erano due macchie sul pavimento sono rimaste là tutta la settimana.Abbiamo avuto mezza pensione il mangiare molto buono però il nostro menù per una settimana era sempre lo stesso, magari per cambiare qualche piatto.
