Friendly staff, Gordan was very welcoming and gave us the visual tour of the area from the balcony making everything from the beach, restaurants and shopping centres close by, plus cleanliness was great.

Location suites us as our friends were all at Salt rock Hotel

I loved the host's care, he was very welcoming. The place was also clean and looked exactly like the pictures. It's also not that far from shops and restaurants.

Only down side was the very busy road that took a little away from the peace and tranquility. However this is understandably the sacrifice you make for being in an accessible location.

The shower pressure could be looked at; however, the bath tub made up for what the shower lacked.

I loved the Seaview and big comfortable bed. The room was spacious and clean - lots of cupboard space

No windows that can be opened and no aircon. During the night the room gets quite warm

Stunning views, close to the beach and restaurants. Gordon is a phenomenal host and made us feel right at home the minute we landed at King Shaka airport and received his welcome whatsapp and PIN location. We also met Dick, the owner of this tropical paradise and were blown away by his friendliness throughout our stay. Our room met all our expectations and was clean and lovely. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

A guest in the room next door played music quite loudly from about 5am bith mornings....luckily we are early risers but it may disturb guests who prefer to sleep in. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Location, just across the beach. Accommodation was quiet and peaceful. Self catering home with a cosy vibe. Gordon made the process simple and pleasant.

It's a lovely place to stay. Gordon is very friendly and always ready to help.The location is very good, with the ocean view. The beach is just across the road down the hill. The beach is sandy and good for swimming, no aquashoes are required, there are small waves or you can bathe in the ocean pools. The territory is nice with a lovely garden, and it's very safe. The swimming pool is very clean and you can stay in shadow. The room is clean, it has all necessary facilities. You can enjoy a glass of wine relaxing at private terrace with a nice view. Monkeys may come to you, they are ot aggressive, but don't feed them. There are no supermarkets at a walking distance (except for one alcho), so you have to drive or use taxi.

Spacious bedroom, clean and comfortable. Awesome veranda with sea view and sounds of crashing waves. Secure parking.

We loved the view from the guesthouse! We spotted whales and dolphins from our own balcony! The location was also great, close to the beach and the road is quiet in the evenings and at night. The bed is comfortable and we felt very safe in the guesthouse. The pool is also great. Finally, Gordon, the manager, is very kind and helpful.

The suite would benefit from an upgrade. The shower is a bit tricky to manage, taking a long time to change temperatures. The kitchen facilities are limited. The pots and pans are quite old and we had to get our own kitchen knifes and chopping board. There is a two-pit electric cooking plate.

We stayed in the top unit.It has a lovely view. It's just unpleasant when the down stairs people braai on their patio .The smoke was almost unbearable , thus we where forced to sit inside or leave the unit

Shakaseat was an incredible find. Me and my family enjoyed it to the core. The room was clean, with a superb view. Believe it or not, you can we spotted dolphins right from our room, not just a few but around 50 dolphins together. The staff was very accomodating and the manager, Gordon, was extremely helpful. We are definitely going back there again

Arrendmebt to leave at 14h00 I have to pay R100 for an hour because my flight was at 18h00 I paid R600 extra but I left at 14h00 . He did not refund the different.

Everything was neat and clean. Gordon is such an amazing host, so sweet and caring. The walk across the road and down to the beach was amazing. The one side is a bit steep to come back up but there is an alternative walk up. I am 57 years old and found it great, so not that hard to do. The beach is so lovely and was quiet, which was a pleasant surprise. If you want just to get away and enjoy the beach, this is a great place.

The microwave was too old, the place could do with a new one. No fridge - which is not a problem in winter, but if you are staying for more than a day, that would be a need.

I liked everything about it from the day I started booking everything was perfect. Most importantly it's few minutes you the beach. Wow it was indeed a wonderful place to be at.

The location was perfect. Easy access to the beach, comfortable facilities and everything you'd want.

The only thing I'd recommend is a WiFi access point I'm the room. Although being on holiday one shouldn't really be connected, the WiFi reception in the room wasn't great. But this is nitpicking.

On a very busy road and no aircon. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not great. Gordon our host was marvellous though and he made up for the above issues. Thank you Gordon!! I also thought that the plethora of signage to save water and electricity etc in the room was over the top.

Our room was small and if you carrying a lot of bags it might be irritating for you, we didn’t have a fridge, so we needed to share a fridge which is situated at the garage. Every time we wanted to have a cold beverage we needed to go there. There are no chairs in the room, you only have on the balcony and if you don’t feel like sitting there, you need to sit on the bed If you are not a nature person I recommend you by doom and mosquito spray as there are lots of them There were constant power outages in the area and when that happened there was no cellphone signal so you were forced to leave the premises and go to a place that had coverage

It was advertised to have hot plates- which it had. I thought hot plays would be ok, but it really didn’t work for us of a family of four in the end, as it took long to cook and I to cook food in stages. It would be more fitting to offer a stove and cooker, which would complete the flat we stayed in room no 6. The WiFi was not accessible apart from the bedroom. Children gaming and working parents in the same room was not ideal. Please invest in an extender for room 6.

It was a self catering unit but it was easy for us to Uber to the mall or order in some food, we ate by the pool deck and also in the room as the ambience allowed
