The shower didn’t work properly most of the time. Any slight adjustment turned the water scaldingly hot or very cold. Felt the original greeting could have been warmer. Last breakfast sitting was 8:45, too early if you’re having a leisure break

Lovely staff, clean functional rooms. Superb location next to the railway station. A great base for exploring the area. A no nonsense bed and breakfast hotel if you dont want all the knobs and whistles of a luxury one. And good value for money.

The main road outside can get a little noisy if you are in a road side room. But the glazing subdues that a bit and they do supply you with complimentary ear plugs if it causes you a problem but we were fine in our ground floor roadside room. The location and the lovely attentive owners and staff more then make up for a little bit of traffic noise.

Location was good. Staff were not rude.

I was in room 9 and the drain in the shower was pretty much non- functional. A pool of water collects at your feet when showering. You’d have to wait about 5 minutes for it to drain.

It was difficult to operate the shower and does need some instructions. The room next door's bathroom fan was quite loud and took ages to turn itself off, which really disturbed my sleep.

The hotel is located near to the train centre and has a big car park, spacious room and serves a great breakfast in a very comfortable conservatory. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of Arundel town centre and Arundel castle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all very good value for money.

Shower worked very well but would personally have preferred a seperate shower cubicle to a shower located over the bath.

It was everything I could ask for. Location was convenient, although alongside the A27 I couldn’t hear the traffic noise due to the excellent insulation. Clean and comfortable. Staff kind and always on hand. Good choice of breakfast. Not fancy but it was an excellent choice for me and I would stay there again.

Only one tea bag and coffee sachet in the room . Asked for more and they wouldn’t take it up but we had to. Not a big deal but we were just going out.

We have stayed here many times before! It very much suits when attending events at the Arundel Frstival.

Our room was excellent, but because I'm a light sleeper the room allocated was at the front with a marvelous view, but the noise of the traffic made it difficult to sleep. Basic Ear plugs are provided, but did not help me.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstück, und eine gute Lage, um Arundel und Castle zu besichtigen. Auch zum Meer sind es nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut.

Schlicht, aber genau richtig: Kein Luxus, aber gut ausgestattet mit allem Nötigen und ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

The location was great - especially being next to the station. The staff were very welcoming. The room was nice, the ceiling fan was a bonus in this heat! The included breakfast was a nice touch and there was plenty of variety. Hot breakfast was cooked while you waited so very fresh and hot. 🙂

The double bed was small and you could feel the springs on the edge of the bed.

The hotel is so incredibly close to the station - it’s brilliant. The fact I could leave bags after check in and pick up later was really helpful too. Staff were very friendly. I had a 2 night stay and room was made up after first night which was nice (although unexpected)

I think it’s fair to say the hotel is a tad dated and things seem a little ‘tired’. I also could have done with instructions for shower but that might just be me.

Walked out despite having paid. Shabby horrible room. Bed cover was all creased, shocking. I cannot think how this place gets any good reviews. Located right on a busy road. Floor boards creaking, tiny horrid en suite. Felt like a hostel.

This little hotel is a very good value for the money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean, rooms get taken care of every day. The breakfast selection is small but you can get cooked breakfast every day, such as scrambled eggs on toast or a nice full English. The location is perfect if you are traveling to Arundel by train as it is literally a 3 minute walk from the train station. The town center is also not very far to walk to.

The whole place seems a little bit outdated, but also has an old school English vibe. It also doesn't offer food other than breakfast so make sure you eat on your way or go have some food in the town.

Great little hotel. Very clean and comfortable and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Fantastic location a 5 minute walk into Arundel town. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated but it was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. And had a lovely shower in the morning. It is on quite a busy road but we was disturbed in the night by any noise.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the location was perfect as it’s beside the train station. Where we needed to go was only three stops away.

We were there during a heatwave and there was no air conditioning. However, most buildings in England don’t have aircon lol

The hotel was a five minute walk from the town centre, castle and cathedral. Breakfast was served in a lovely conservatory and there was a decent choice of options.

The room was hot and despite fans being provided it was too hot to sleep. Having the windows open also meant the noise from the nearby road was disturbing. Not a great location for a summer stay because of this

The town of Arundel is so lovely , such a pretty place . Close to Goodwood Festival of Speed. Friendly staff and a reasonable family room with 4 proper comfortable beds. The hotel was a little dated but very clean. Breakfast was good . Pretty gardens 😊

The only negative thing I can say was that it was 32 degrees most days and there was no aircon only a ceiling fan so we didn’t get a lot of sleep . Evening meals were not available but there were plenty of nice restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

The breakfast was good, room was clean, location from High st very good.

Unfortunately we stayed during a heat wave 32+ and the room was not air-conditioned. Only a small bedside table fan and a ceiling fan that struggled to even turn. I did request a second fan - I was offered another small bedside fan from the breakfast room, but would have to return it before breakfast starts. A large floor standing room fan would have been a nice addition to cool the room down and considering the higher temps that are being experienced through global warming, that this would indeed be a much more cost effective and practical solution to their guests comfort than a fully integrated a/c system. It was difficult to return to the room after a long day out and then not to have any respite from the heat for several more hours. Getting to sleep was difficult.

we enjoyed our stay at the arundel park hotel, found the check in experience quick and easy as was the check out. The twin room although dated in décor had good facilities and given the heat wave at the time of our stay we were grateful of the double aspect windows and the ceiling fan (we understand that aircon would probably be difficult & expensive to install into the building). Room was serviced daily. Breakfast choice was adequate and friendly welcome into the breakfast area and prompt when taking the food order. when the cooked breakfast arrived it was hot tasty and well presented. Hotel provides plenty of off road parking available and a great location for walking access into Arundel town 5 minute walk , also (1 minute walk to train station - if travelling by train). When back in the Arundel area we would use the Arundel Park Hotel again.

The bathroom was showing age and the outer bottom edges of the shower cubicle did need most likely replacing or attention for black marks. Traffic noise may be an issue but earplugs were provided and used. Lack of air con, although a ceiling fan was in place.

Being a hotel it would have been nice to know before booking that they didn't do evening meals especially looking at the hotel webside there is a menu and pictures of evening meals shown. I know a lot of these are not up to date but they could have been removed. Also more choice at breakfast would have been good.

Literally a minutes walk to Arundel Train Station & lovely 10 minute walk into Arundel & Castle. Room was clean & bed comfortable & it had a ceiling fan which helped as it was hot. Shower was powerful & breakfast was lovely.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. We had a pleasant room. We appreciated the ceiling fan and the strong water pressure for the shower. The location of this hotel is excellent and it is an easy walk to the town and the Castle. The breakfast was enjoyable and served quickly. Ample supplies of hot coffee. The drawback? Lots of road noise that spoiled an enjoyable venue.

Staff were friendly and easy to deal with and check-in smooth. The room (12) was on the ground floor, facing the A27, and the road is close, just across the small garden and pavement. When the window was closed, the noise was not a problem, but I was there on a very warm weekend. The main issue was the lack of a blackout blind or proper curtains in the room. There was a wooden venetian blind but this did not come close to keeping out the light. So the room was flooded with light at 4.30 am and I was awake. They really need to sort that out. WiFi very poor, but the breakfast was good, and there's free parking. If there had been good curtains I'd have been able to give a better review.

Clean,comfortable and quiet even though near a main road. Enough for all our needs for a few days stay . Our hosts were exceptional. One evening we were let down badly by the local taxi firm and the hotel manager came to our rescue and drove us into town. Made it to our reservation with five minutes to spare. The lady in the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful.

I don’t normally comment on the rooms, but the room was very tiered & in need of modernising. The head board was in a particular bad state. The garden area could be lovely.. but looks like it’s has little or no attention for sometime. The bar area again is tiered & is non welcoming. To be honest it’s everything that needs looking at.

Run by a lovely couple that do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. The breakfast was nice without being over the top. The service was very good.

We never saw the bar open or with any other guests in there, but we were coming back quite late in the evenings during our stay so perhaps it was quite and they closed it up.

Mycket bra läge nära tågstationen. Bra traditionell engelsk frukost med många alternativ. Stort och rymligt rum med mycket skön säng. Arundel är ett mycket trivsamt samhälle.

Im gluten intolerant. No oats option available or gluten free toast. Wouldve liked natural yogurt as a choice with fruit. Conservatory where we ate was extremely hot with no suitable air conditioning. Exceptionally hot though and we know this isn't usual weather for the UK end of May!

We had a lovely stay at the Arundel Park Hotel. Rooms were clean, tidy and plenty of amenities such as tea etc. a nice powerful shower. Breakfast was lovely and very tasty. The location was perfect, a short 10 minute walk to the town centre. Considering the hotel is located on a busy main road literally on the A27 our room was fairly quiet. Overall a great relaxing stay.

So clean,. really lovely to stay in a hotel where everything was spotless and obviously cleaned with pride. I stay in many hotels from posh to budget, and this is as sparkly clean as I've ever seen.

Poor wi-fi and with the TVs being driven by wi-fi that's not a great combination if you want a quiet evening in watching the Tele.

I didn't choose the veggie breakfast but the substitution of one hash brown for a sausage and two rashers of bacon is meagre in my opinion. Otherwise its a pretty good venue.

More coffee/tea/milk sachets in the room would have been nice but definitely didn't spoil our stay.

The pillows were very hard and need replacing with softer ones. The room on the ground floor was welcome as ai have mobility problems but even with ear plugs the traffic on the road continued all night.

The location was great for travelling by train, didn't have to carry bags far. Both the breakfasts and breakfast staff were wonderful. Near enough to town to walk and the roads have enough lighting to walk back later in the evening.

On a personal level I'd have preferred a mug rather than a small cup in the room. A snack machine could be useful

Ideal position for Arundel Castle, bus service very good and if needed train station very close. Inside all clean and tidy. The staff very helpful. Breakfast very good. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The outside of the property is shabby, needs painting and the garden needs TLC. It would stand out more and make the property more welcoming.
