Easy to find, friendly staff, clean room and good breakfast

Staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom overlooked the side access and another residence but there were no curtains or blind so we had no privacy. The room was quite small which meant we had to juggle the space to fit in.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. We loved the Cow painting on the wall. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. The location was perfect and close to.the train station. It was exactly what we wanted for our 2 night stay.

Location was good for me and parking at the hotel available. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and ensuite.

The carpets in the hallway and lounge were very dirty/stained. It made me nervous that my room would not be clean. Luckily the room I had was fine.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Victoria Park Lodge and found all the staff to be very friendly and hospitable, and the room was lovely and clean with a good bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty with a wide choice of food and beverages and toasts as well as jams and marmalades. Without doubt one of the best places to stay and I highly recommend this accommodation.

We happened to be in a sub basement room. It was fine just for a night but it didn’t have a nice feel to it. The small windows were v high in the wall and looked out onto a carpark at car wheel level! I had to climb on a chair to close the blinds. If staying here, I’d check you weren’t going to get the basement room first. Some of the other rooms looked nice on the photos.

I needed to sleep with the window open but there was a big extractor fan immediately outside my window that woke me up very early. If should perhaps have put the air con on but I suffer from nose inflammation from this sometimes. This was my fault I should have foreseen this and asked about window opening and room position

Location was good as you could walk into Leamington Spa town centre in 10 minutes. Free parking on site was convenient. Breakfast was ok.A selection of fruit,cereals,yogurt and a cooked breakfast . Staff were friendly.

The room and bathroom were very small . There was a noisy air conditioner outside our bedroom window. General decor a bit tired.Shower good but tiling needed attention in some places .

Centrally located. Nice sized room. Like that they provide hot chocolate in the room, as I do not drink tea or coffee. Also fantastic that they provide oat milk as I am allergic to cow's milk. We are avid table tennis players, like that they have a table tennis table in the back garden - albeit, the net needs a little attention.

Room was at the front of the house. There was a lot of traffic noise. And someone appeared to be cleaning the windows at around 08:00 in the morning. We stayed for around 4 nights - would have been great if the room had a mini-fridge.

Really welcoming staff, all very friendly, many congratulations on your recent wedding. The hotel provides an excellent base to discover Leamington Spa. The room was immaculate and lovely considered furnishings, made it feel very individual. Lovely and quiet. Lovely clean modern en-suite and excellent cooked breakfast. Ample parking on site. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you so much.

It was passable, the bedroom needed to be refurbished as the furniture looked tired, the breakfast was good and staff friendly

The en suite smelt of bad drains, it smelt really bad which made us feel worried regarding cleanliness

The location suited me, the breakfast was good and the staff very attentive. The shower in the room was good, and the bed very comfortable.

I booked a double room and was given a single room. I didn't complain at the time, as I knew the facility was full and didn't want to go elsewhere. I was going to say something at checkout, but after waiting 10 mins at reception nobody appeared so I just left my key. The floor is really creaky - I could hear every movement upstairs - and I was woken at 5am both mornings by someone seemingly outside moving bins (at least that's what it sounded like).

The staff were lovely. Friendly, helpful and just nice. I even had help making room for my car. Plus when I forgot my key, it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was superb! Choice, quality. Dining facilities were spot on!

Nothing can be 100% but I don’t have anything negative to write.

Room was small and looked out onto the blank wall of the neighbouring building. En-suite bathroom had been refurbished but had a few problems:- 1.Basin very small so water flowed over onto the floor when I put the tap on first time! Had to start with a small flow to prevent this happening again. 2. Shower tray plug not draining properly ? blocked . 3. No shelf for toilet bag, make up etc etc No towel ring near basin for hand towel. 4. Door ‘fell open’ unless fully closed. 5. Knob inside sliding shower door missing on one side.

Always a great stay. Staff are very attentive and supportive. A/C in the room was a great bonus with such hot weather! Excellent breakfast.

I had been staying locally with family but wanted a couple of nights in the centre of town before heading home. Victoria Park Lodge was ideally situated with easy walk to the parks running through Leamington and into the main shopping and cafe / restaurant area. The hotel was relatively basic but my room was obviously recently redecorated and was perfectly comfortable for what I was looking for. I only had the breakfast on the first morning I was there as I had an early start on my last morning; the selection was very good and it was tasty.

All the staff were very professional and attentive, especially Jason. Although you have to specify your preferred time for breakfast, it soon became apparent that you received a waiter service rather than a self service buffet. The hotel offers vegan and vegetarian options of both food and drinks. (Soya and oat milk). They are very environmentally conscious not just about the breakfast menu, but also the toiletries used in the bathrooms.

The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful. We left out car on the car park before check in and popped in to let them know it was there and we would be back, they said our room was ready anyway and gave us the key. The temp was 34 degs but they had put 2 fans in the room so that helped. Breakfast was made to order and was more than enough for us. The room overlooked the main road but we had the Windows open and it was quiet. The walk to the main town was 5 mins along the river.

Helpful staff, comfortabe accommodation, good breakfast, plenty of on-site parking, great location for access to Leamington Spa centre. We hadn't noticed when booking that the rooms have air conditioning. We hadn't really expected this in a nice old Victorian building, but in the current heatwave, it was a real blessing!

Only two minor points. The dining room is a bit cramped for the number of covers, though it's not a major quibble. The hotel is clearly doing its best to manage this by having various sittings for breakfast so there is always space at the time you have chosen. It just feels a bit of a squeeze when you're in there if all tables are full. My daughter said her bed in room 6, though comfortable, squeeked every time she moved, which was a bit disturbing. This should be pretty easy to deal with and hopefully they will when they see this review.

Service was excellent on arrival. We had an early start before breakfast began. Nk problem, they put a breakfast-to-go together and delivered it to us the night before we checked out!

We booked this hotel as we were visiting Warwick castle and Silverstone for the weekend and this was a great location to drive to both locations in reasonable time. The hotel is also located a 10 min walk away from the local town centre, which was great for the late evening dine out. We also had breakfasts included, a full English that was really fulfilling and good value for money. Parking spaces available at the front and back. The room was kept tidy and clean, which was more important to us as we were mainly spending time outside.

The door to the toilet could do with a handle with a latch so that it could be kept shut. But this is a really minor issue and we don’t genuinely have anything negative to say

Rooms that don’t have aircon just have desktop fans rather than pedestal fans.

This is such a lovely hotel in a great location. It's only a short walk from the train station and it's very close to the town centre and all the parks. The guy running the place (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name!) was a pleasure to talk to and was really informative about the town. Great room with A/C, very clean and tidy. The breakfast was stellar. Overall this place is excellent value for money and I'll be staying again on my next visit to Leamington Spa!

Thoroughly enjoyed a short stay here - lovely big room, friendly staff, very courteous and nice, good breakfast, all very clean, nice big old house but stylish and modern inside with character, great value for money, location good - quick easy to walk to from train. Will stay again!
