Always a pleasant stay and very friendly helpful staff (especially Nabiba ? Apologies about spelling 🤦‍♀️) on the front reception for saving me with some toothpaste as id forgotten to bring some 🙂👍

The room was lovely and spacious with floor to ceiling window, door/juliette balcony however we were on the road side of the hotel and it was VERY noisy in the morning with heavy traffic. We would book again as it is a lovely hotel but we would request the other side of the hotel so not noisy

We arrived early hoping to buy some lunch but they weren’t serving food until 6pm. This meant we had to go out again to find something to eat.

Loved the location and free parking facilities . Amazing space in hotel , felt it is so underused !

As always the Woodland Grange does not let you down. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and very comfortable room. The Woodland Grange is ideal for a getaway break.

Communal areas were nice. Ample parking. Nice woodland location other than it was on the main road to Coventry

. Our window door didn't close properly road noise was bad. Got allocated another room could still hear the road. Hot breakfast was basic. Bacon was hard and eggs were fried no other choice. Toasters took an age to toast bread. Main meal choice was very limited too. Stair and Hall carpets badly stained. Overall quite grubby.

The room itself was lovely. It was warm, airy and comfortable. The window/door was excellent with its safety feature. The overall hotel was grand, clean and welcoming

I would have preferred the shower to be a walk-in unit as opposed to a bath, due to my restricted movements of my legs, showering proves to be a little tricky. Also with technology being the way to go, I would have expected the sockets to have facilities for usb chargers without the use of a plug.

Well presented clean rooms. Our room had a lovely view over the hotel grounds and Warwickshire. Lovely breakfast and good value for money.

We thought the location was perfect for visiting different attractions nearby. There was a lot of choice at breakfast!!

We noticed on our last day that one of our pillows didn't have a protecter on & it was stained.

Location was ideal and we had used the property sometime ago. Desk staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Window in the room wasn’t clean, when opening the window there where untold number of cobwebs. Also some plaster had come off from the screw heads of the boarding. When previously using the hotel, there was access to the coffee stations.

Coffee machines around the site to use but none were working which seemed a shame considering they were around locations with sofas and chairs for people to gather and relax.

We liked the size of the room. It was clean and we had a good sleep. We also liked the breakfast. Great selection of fresh food and good service. Good quality food. Our only advice would be for the food to be hot instead of warm. After our bad experience with staff the night before, we met Whitney on reception. Whitney was absolutely amazing, approachable, friendly and supportive. Every hotel needs a Whitney

When we arrived, we were tired due to our long journey from north wales. We approached reception, and the guy behind the service desk did not appear to have a clue what he was doing. He told us he couldn’t find our booking, couldn’t find room keys. He made us feel worried and anxious before we had even got through the reception door. He eventually told us that he was seeking further support from a colleague. He did not advise us to take a seat, nothing, left us waiting not knowing what was happening. Eventually a female colleague appeared and continued to talk to the guy without any acknowledgment to ourselves. When he eventually sorted the room, he gave us advice while the female was baking her head at him, not knowing I was watching. It felt really awkward for us.

The hotel needs to make more use of the outdoor spaces. Lots of little courtyards that weren't accessible. Bar could be better. Very pricey and worst pint of Guinness I've ever tasted.

Comfortable bed

Myself and others staying with me had issues with our rooms that should have been noticed by housekeeping etc snd resolved, no main bedroom light, curtain partly off the track, shower floods bathroom floor as screen doesn’t close properly or meet at the bottom with the bath. A friends room sink blocked and then in night things came back up it. Unable to noon a dinner table until 8.30pm but hardly anyone in the restaurant, no steaks and only 5 fish and chips. Menu not very inspiring. Fire alarm went off and told to go outside before dinner but others remained inside inside rooms and restaurant (not a drill/practice).

Outside is pleasant and the grounds have potential Breakfast OK- warm plates and egg options other than fried would be good

The room was a good size and the location was nice.

The window in the room didn’t shut properly so we had road noise all night. The restaurant would only take bookings at checkin and availability was poor and at a late time, so I didn’t eat. Those who did eat said the quality was poor! The hotel was under staffed.

The restaurant evening food was very much below par with a poor menu.

We thought that as the accommodation had a restaurant it would be easy to get a meal on arrival. Staff informed us food wasn't available as the restaurant was fully booked. We queried this. subsequently we were informed it wasn't a problem and we could use the restaurant. We were confused as why we were told this and then there wasn't a problem, it was very odd.

The only thing I would say about dinner was you didn't open until 6pm and at least 3 items on the menu weren't available and we was the first ones in. We was quite hungry so had to wait until 6pm. But there was plenty of room and everyone was friendly and there was choice otherwise. Light ands airy rooms. Really nice

No room service available at all, left my charger in the room and even though I called to confirm they had and would keep it for me until the following week when I returned in the safe the member of staff when I returned could not locate it.

Plenty of parking, easy polite check in, comfortable bed and clean facilities. Breakfast also had a good selection and was a good way to start the day!

Room was warm due to hot outside temp and not air conditioned, but at least there was a portable fan. Small fridge would have been handy to help keep drinks etc cool. Neither of these were a big deal, just little things that could have made the stay exceptional.

There was only 10 people staying in the hotel and we was next door to a couple who decided to party to the early morning The waiter/ waitress not sure what sex was rude and had no customer skills , it wasn't a nice experience

Room was comfortable but the toilet had a design flaw. The toilet roll holder was positioned so that you knocked it off onto the floor every time you sat down. Basic design error.

Most of the staff were professional and courteous with the exception of the young girl bar staff who pulled a sour face when I returned the clearly burned steak to ask the chef to have another go at getting it right. Not a smile passed her lips all night. However she was very young and no doubt at the early stages of her hospitality career.

The location in beautiful surroundings, only a 20 minute walk to town, plenty of choice at breakfast, staff very welcoming, room very nice, bathroom spacious and clean

My only grudge is that a small fridge in the room would have been very welcome. The water was warm and couldn't store cold drinks

Nice setting and plenty of parking. Easy and frequent buses to town centre. A bar onsite opens in the afternoon, and coffee and cold drinks are available all the time.

Room was a third floor attic with one skylight that opened about 4 inches, and no airconditioning. It was at least 33 degrees when we arrived and was impossible to cool down. Therefore impossible to sleep. Only a noisy fan provided some respite. Health and Safety appears to have gone crazy, with every door labelled a fire door - keep closed, making the ambience more like a prison than a hotel. The reception door was locked all the time, requiring people to be buzzed in or fumble for keys. Staff were nice enough but appeared very nervous about making decisions, or in fact catching your eye. The desk chair was in a disgusting state and this was presumably known to staff, but left in the room

Staff were disinterested. Pleasant enough but even on checking in, the receptionist did not tell us where our room was, when or where breakfast as etc. And when we asked for food at the bar, the bartender was disinterested.

The evening food (not what the website describes - more like fast food, the room (exceptionally hot, uncomfortable bed), the decoration very shabby and needs updating (stained carpets, scuffed tables and walls). The staff looked like they didn't want to be there (apart from one in the restaurant). We weren't even asked how our stay was when we checked out. Poor choice of drinks at the bar.

There was lots of parking. The hotel had different areas to lounge and there were snack available too. The staff were really nice. The variety of breakfast suited all of us and had plenty of variety and hot food.

The only negative comment is the room was in the third floor and there was no air conditioning and it was too warm to handle.

The hotel was situated in beautiful grounds and not too far from the train station, we were welcomed by reception staff and then headed to our room which was clean and comfortable, the heat at the weekend was unbearable but a small fan was turned on on the room, we ate in the restaurant for evening meal, the menu is very short but food was great, breakfast was fantastic on both days

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with Continental and Full English choices available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds were neat and tidy and we had a pleasant view.

Unfortunately the lack of air conditioning in the room is a bit of a downer in the middle of a heatwave. There was a fan supplied but as the sun was shining directly in through the lovely big windows it didn't help at all, even with the curtains drawn. I expect it's fine usually but not in very hot weather.

Had to move rooms first room was tiny and I had asked and was confirmed to be next to my daughter this was not the case . The room was very very hot and the bathroom had no shower curtain so water soaked the area during shower . Had to have patio open and heard traffic all night so no sleep , shame as the hotel itself was very nice , we enjoyed the common areas just way to uncomfortable to sleep

Rooms are basic but functional and clean. A fan was provided. Once inside, staff were polite and helpful.

Trying to get through the front door of the hotel is challenging as you need a room key to open it, which on arrival you obviously don't have. it has the feel of very much being a conference hotel. We could hear the road from our room with the window open.

Location. Friendly staff and had a spare plug in o charge my phone was very nice.

The food, it was ok, and there could have been more choice for the set menu that was all set out as a buffet. Breakfast was nice.

I have stayed here 3 times now and find it excellent staff are friendly and helpful. facilities throughout hotel are really good and grounds are spectacular
