A beautifully appointed hotel with eclectic decor close to the town square. The staff were friendly and always there to help, the pool and outside gardens are stunning providing multiple photo opportunities.
Nothing
Pool and location are great. Staff are very nice and helpful. Beautiful rooms. Onsite parking super convenient
They never wished us a happy honeymoon despite mentioning multiple times and the restaurant knowing as well. Didn’t have basics like a steamer or iron available. Also rooms were beautiful but not the most functional (no storage, no full lent to mirror)
Excellent
Bed is not comfortable
From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly checked out, our five-night stay at Paragon 700 was nothing short of exceptional. This is far more than a luxury hotel. It is a beautifully restored historic property that perfectly blends incredible architecture with contemporary comfort. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed, creating a sense of calm, elegance and authenticity that made it a pleasure to return to each day. What truly sets Paragon 700 apart is its people. The warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality of every member of the team made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and their passion for the hotel really shines through. The swimming pool is an absolute highlight. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and historic stone walls, it provides a peaceful oasis and was the perfect place to relax after exploring Ostuni. Our five nights here became one of the highlights of our trip through Italy. We left feeling refreshed, inspired and already talking about returning one day. Thank you to everyone at Paragon 700 for making our stay so memorable. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.
The architecture inside is AMAZING, the details and way that they integrated the original design! We were blown away. The breakfast & breakfast area was also AMAZING, and the girl at the service desk went above and BEYOND to ensure we had the best stay, which we seriously did! Our room also had a fully functional steam room which was soooo nice to have, to compress after a long day!
Nothing, perfect experience!
Stunning property, attentive staff, relaxed vibe, large and comfortable rooms that were immaculate. The restaurant is a highlight... it's incredible and Michelin starred. The best located property in the town and they've truly thought of everything. In the heat of July, being poolside was a heavenly! I had high expectations and it exceeded them on every front.
Never again. My honest hope is that management actually listens to feedback instead of assuming guests are always the problem. If you’re charging premium prices, deliver premium service.
Beautiful and arty, great outdoor space n pool
Shower soaks the entire room in seconds, I’m sure they are well aware of this and unable to correct it. I suggest they check the rooms more frequently and provide many extra towels and perhaps some hand bars as crossing the room is precarious. It also had an entry w no door, so no privacy . The mirror over sink hangs so high you must use a hand-held, which was Provided They supplied water in the evening but took the bottles away during the daytime, so there was no drinking water in the room. Considering the price of the room I resented price tags on the bathroom amenities clearly inferring, the guest might swipe them otherwise. The bed pillows, due for replacement As is the mattress, an establishment of aspiring to this caliber changes the mattress once a year, which is why sleeping at a great hotel is so luxurious. I have had the good fortune to stay in many it is the details that elevate an experience.
Amazing place. We loved every second. The Paragon room is unbealivable, the photos cannot tell.
A very memorable lunch in the garden!! The food was spectacular and our waiter Fausto was so lovely. I recommend if you are in Puglia that you make time for lunch at the Paragon.
My wife and I have stayed at Paragon four or five times, and it’s become a must-stop whenever we travel to Italy. Each room is uniquely designed, transporting you to a bygone era while remaining comfortable and inviting. The result is a striking mix of history, character, and style that feels both grand and personal. And the beds are beyond description. In a word divine! What truly sets Paragon apart is its people. The staff go beyond excellent service, engaging guests in genuine conversation and making every stay memorable. And then there’s the restaurant. It’s simply the best. No matter how much time we spend exploring the city, we always return to Paragon for dinner. The food, atmosphere, and service make it the highlight of every evening. In short: book it now. Paragon is one of those rare places that exceeds expectations every time.
Paragon 700 is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The rooms are stunning, the bar is excellent, and many of the staff, particularly the front-of-house and bar team, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our final day left a disappointing lasting impression. Before arrival and several times during our stay, we asked about late check-out or shower facilities as our flight wasn’t until 10pm. Despite being told repeatedly that someone would check, no solution was offered other than an ice-cold poolside shower where we couldn’t even use soap. I had also mentioned several times that this trip was to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday, but it wasn’t acknowledged at all. What disappointed me most was that when these issues were raised, there was no attempt to make things right. Even a small gesture or acknowledgement of the inconvenience would have been appreciated. A wonderful hotel in many ways, but unfortunately the handling of our departure day left us feeling let down.
Great location, wonderful helpful staff and good facilities. Very peaceful and delicious food.

I was expecting a five star experience. Instead what we got was a tiny hot room with one small window that didn’t open (the “deluxe room”). It was akin to a cloakroom rather than a guest bedroom. It was so small and hot we were unable to hang clothes and had to step over suitcases. The bedroom is divided by a steep hazardous step. Please look at the mirror as an indication of “luxury”. Another feature was the “wet room” (bathroom), aptly named because on switching on the shower the whole room floods including the floor around the toilet and sink. No ventilation, no way to open the window. So essentially a hot sauna room with a lethally wet floor that spills into the already boiling bedroom with a steep step down into the bedroom so you can slip and break your neck. The bathroom shower is either freezing or boiling hot. The sink just hot water. My husband asked for an extra key and was shockingly told NO he couldn’t have one and therefore had to wait behind a locked corridor door until twenty minutes later another guest exited. We saw a number of guests waiting behind said door. The pool is so cold the only things using it are pigeons!! Restaurant so good it was always empty!! Like other reviews have said, when I mentioned these things to management we were met with defensiveness and abrasion. “Paragon 700 is a hotel that prioritizes aesthetics over customer service” from another review sums up this place. Horrific. We travel extensively (see all my reviews) – this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. If management can be bothered to reply to this post (which they won’t) you will see what kind of odd blame game culture we were dealing with. This place is over 600 euro per night. You would have to pay ME to stay there again. Laughable.

Sehr individuell mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Hotel. Das Frühstück, Abendessen und Bar waren sehr gut. Toller Garten mit schönem Poolbereich.
Rita and Federico were amazing! The hotel is fabulous and the service is outstanding. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed Paragon 700.
Grande chambre, joli jardin, bon petit déjeuner. Chouette concept de boutique hôtel, bon emplacement
Problème d’insonorisation, nécessité d’insister à plusieurs reprises pour changement de chambre malgré un hôtel vide… Prix très élevé par rapport aux prestations
Like the attendance a lot! And live the massage in the Spa!
The breakfast was very poor…
This is a marvelous hotel. A wonderful and interesting setting with uniquely interesting and comfortable rooms; a great bar and restaurant; a perfect location in Ostuni; and most importantly a highly trained, highly qualified, and fully responsive staff that worked seamlessly together and took care of all of our requests and needs during our four-day stay.
This amazing hotel has an incredible staff, wonderful bar and a Michelin star restaurant. Decor is unique and so beautiful, gardens are lush, location is perfect. I spent 3 nights here and everything was perfect. Make sure to eat at the restaurant and visit Leo at the bar!!!!
Mixologist on the bar was exceptional
Could have done with a full length mirror in our room
The staff were fantastic. Before and during our stay they responded very quickly to all requests - restaurant bookings, transfers and any information we needed. Very professional. And all the staff were extremely friendly and happy. The hotel is perfectly located in the old town of Ostuni.
-Position amazing and a nice old property -Breakfast very good - we stayed in the Saphire/ Zaffiro Room for two nights - not great if your not travelling alone... the toilette is in the open room, so don't expect a "quite moment" by yourselves. Not exactly romantic.. and of course no bidet. - no coffee machine in the room and in case you would decide to take the laundry bag there will be charge of 23€. - on the second night the heating in the room didn't work. After three visits by the nice night porter Giuseppe he didn't manage to get the heating working but supplied us with a separate duvet, but couldn't find a separate heater. We stayed over the New Years period and the outside temperature was just above freezing, yes even Puglia there can be a cold snap. Staff not overly friendly, rather argumentative. Especially at the reception desk. Altogether below the expected five star experience one is paying for. Especially if your group has booked altogether six rooms, practically half the hotel.
Breakfast was great atmosphere was good Close to the town square
Everything was excellent with very friendly and personal service. Perfect location in the heart of Ostuni and in the broader region. Attention for every little detail, warm atmosphere and delicious food ánd cocktails! Highly recommended.
Essen
Absolutely outstanding hotel, one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Amazing design, excellent food and lovely staff. The spa was also lovely, perfectly designed for 2, with great massage therapists.
Great location. Very quiet.
Everything was fabulous
Great location. Beautiful, eclectic property. Superior suite was very spacious with high ceilings. Frederica and her colleague at the front desk were very accommodating. Breakfast offerings were limited, especially for a hotel in Europe of this caliber. The shower was inside of a high walled tub so it was difficult and slippery to get in and out of. The price was expensive compared to other similar hotels in Puglia.
Friendly staff, great decor and ambiance
Very special place with a nice pool and beautiful rooms
Good location, cool vibes and great pool
It’s a shame the pool beds are in the afternoon sun as made it a bit uncomfortable, even with an umbrella but only a minor criticism!
When I walked into the Paragon 700 I thought I walked into my new home in Italy. The staff was that friendly, welcoming and dare I say, excited to see me. Federica, Matia, Vincenzo, Ellie, as well as everyone on the wait staff at their out-of-this-world restaurant, Guisseppe, Joel, Silvia, Ostunio (sp.?), made us feel like the only guests in the building. True confession, we ate at the restaurant every chance we had, we tried a few other places and kept coming back. Every dinner option, the club sandwich (best we ever had) and cavatelli on the all-day menu, and the breakfast (even the granola) were superb. And the property. Oh. It is so unique, so painstakingly appointed and decorated, that it feels like you’re on a treasure hunt every day with something new to discover – art, books, carvings, light fixtures, artifacts, fruit trees, and yet it exudes warmth, comfort and world class hospitality. Paragon 700 has that rare alchemy of the highest of quality delivered by the warmest of human beings. There is an authenticity and charm that will stay with us far beyond our visit to beautiful Puglia and the marvelous white city, Ostuni. Thank you to everyone at Paragon 700 who made it a memorable stay.
Very modern and beautiful big room Location of hotel very good Good cocktails from the bar
Breakfast service wasn’t very good and the Menu was limited Everything seemed to have a price tag on so you could buy eg toiletries in the bathroom Parking was expensive to park in the hotel Would expect more from a 5 star hotel
I loved everything , I stayed in the large suite with the tub and it was glorious . The food was amazing and service was 5 stars!
The bath towels were rough :(
The staff were brilliant, e Specially Frederica and Pattis who showed me through the hotel and introduced me to fellow staff members. Also spent time assisting me with an IT problem I was having. The rooms are delicious , the food is excellent, VG wine list as bd great cocktails
Would have loved a yoga mat in the room
Such an interesting and beautiful hotel - there is a treasure around every corner. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. Rooms were amazing - eclectic and comfortable (beds were huge and so nice to sleep on). The pool was the best - gorgeous with great lounges. I would definitely stay here again - would maybe ask not to have a room overlooking the street as it was a little noisy some nights.
This hotel has a lovely decor and the room was very spacious quite dark but big The bar area was lovely and had a welcome drink which was very nice and some cocktails too which were lovely this area did smell of smoke though quite a bit we thought We had dinner on our first night which the menu was quite hard to understand which we found the couple next to us was the same The food was nice but not amazing the tables outside in the garden are too small As we found out in the morning for breakfast as the service wasn’t too good with the collection of used plates cups etc we had to ask for things to be cleared away Service at breakfast was very poor and the selection wasn’t great for a 5 star hotel the teacups are a nice touch for coffee but the coffee was sparse in the cup and no one asked if you wanted another drink unless you asked for it you got the minimum which isn’t good for a 5 star hotel The pool looked lovely we didn’t use as was only there for 2 days and wanted to explore the town the hotel is done lovely but wouldn’t stay here again just hasn’t got that personal touch Also don’t like the idea of having price tags on things like the bathroom amenities and other items everything seem to have a price to buy
Amazing property. Unique and different. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant
Parking était payant plus de 30 euro par jour
Todo. Sus cuartos impresionantes y su servicio espectacular
Todo me gustó.
Everything was so great! We can’t wait to return!! BUT Please do something about those horrible playlists that they play at every common restaurant that one walks by in Ostuni and every other touristic town in the world. No more faux bossa nova please!!! The hotel is too elegant, unique and special to not have its own carefully curated genuine music playlist.
The staff are so amazing. The building is so beautiful.
Truly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had, the Paragon Suite was absolutely insane, the ceiling is 7 metres high with the most unbelievable balcony, huge bathroom and total peace and silence despite being in the very heart of Ostuni, which is a busy place. And that's how I would sum up the entire hotel as just this incredible oasis where you go and sit in this huge walled garden totally oblivious to the fact you're in the hustle and bustle of a very busy very touristy Italian town. The restaurant is also incredible. We enjoyed a fantastic seven course tasting meal that was totally relaxed great food very intimate it's a really small restaurant with a very limited number of covers so you feel really special. The service was outstanding from start to finish. We were greeted by name on arrival, check in is the most informal process I've ever seen. The bags were whisked up to the room without even noticing. The whole week we were there the staff could not do enough for us they were all impeccable. It gets even better. Ostuni is one seriously busy place and the paragon even has a amazing secure car park and they park your car for you and bring it back to you every morning when you need it. Car transfers to and from the airport were arranged and also seamless. Truly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at and I could not recommend it enough
Michelin hotel, and deserve front page of Architecture Digest Magazine.
We've been to Paragon before for their amazing Cocktails by Leonardo, but we were celebrating and decided to have dinner. Itwaslovely. You could between 3 full tasting menus, or just select individual dishes from each. We chose the latter, a delicious asparagus starter and chicken for main. All were cook3d perfectly and presentation was delightful. The staff were great, and Leonardo again excelled. A wonderful experience and we will be back
What a lovely hotel with an amazing staff. We loved this place. Everything was perfect except our room . The room was beautiful but had some design issues. It was very hard to get into the shower because you had to step over a sunken bath tub. We love the staff especially the people working at the bar. My wife had a great spa treatment.
Divine boutique hotel. Beautiful rooms, fabulous pool area and garden. Helpful staff. A perfect 10!!!!
This hotel is superb. The staff, accommodation, the restaurant, the spa and the amazing bar. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and loved our time there. The restaurant is definitely a must. A shout out to Matteo, Frederica and Guiseppe who made our stay special.
We loved the elegant ,but bohemian design of the hotel. This is a high end hotel, but you are greeted and treated like an old friend! The breakfast and dinners were delicious . Everyone we met was friendly and helpful, we loved staying!
What a find. This is a beautiful hotel, its design, attention to detail and art. The garden area is a magical escape and the pool offers a refreshing escape from the sun. But what brings this hotel to life are the staff , every single one of them, welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing visit and would recommend it to anyone.
Fabulous stay. Lovely rooms. Incredible food. Outstanding service. The staff was amazing. Spa is unique and special. Funky vibes.
It was peaceful with wonderful services. The employees were focused on us! One of my best hotel experiences in over 50 years of travel.
We were met at the door by the Mateo and Fredirica who warmly greeted us and provided a short tour of the hotel. Tastefully decorated with many details and a staff that is ever present and efficient, it was a joy to spend a week here. Chef Pasquale is brilliant in his cucina where not a single meal is less than stunning. Mixocolgist Leonardo is a genius and created some of the best cocktails ever! We will definitely return.
Beautiful building. Lovely garden, a really relaxing oasis in this gorgeous town. Wonderful service and staff - faultless. Great breakfast. Wonderful shower. Terrific bar and bar staff.
The pool was freezing, despite it being hot outside, and sadly too cold to swim in. Could it be heated? Our suite was rather dark - too much dark grey on the walls and no view. Quirky aesthetic - I'd have preferred this historic building to have been returned to its former traditional glory, but maybe that's just me. We didn't appreciate the owner (?) (woman with short hair), who we hadn't seen before, sending a member of staff to ask if we were guests there, even though it was our third day there! That didn't make us feel welcome.
Great hotel and location. Beautiful decorations , large room , and very comfortable. Easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Also the hotel had and excellent restaurant, very good breakfast and delicious drinks at the bar.
Fabulous boutique hotel - once a palace - luxurious and warm and welcoming. Design details and ambience are amazing, one of a kind. A curation of antiques and modern art - beautifully appointed guest room and lovely bathroom. Fine finishes and attention to detail. Federica helped us finalize plans for Puglia - making recommendations and offering to organize activities for us. Top notch service - attentive, detail oriented, discreet and friendly.
I warmly recommend this Boutique Hôtel. Our stay was exceptionnal. Very nice staff, we felt really at home. Our room was confortable, with a romantic chimenea, high ceilings, big bed, nice bathroom. We enjoyed also the spa and the massages. Just amazing and great. Food is excellent and location is just perfect. Ostuni is really worth to visit and very central to go around The Puglia. Thanks a lot to the whole team and best wishes for the future.
Excelente e beautiful place
This boutique property in the middle of the White City is a fantastic base to explore Puglia, while being a warm oasis after a day out. Everyone is super friendly, the food is exceptional. The staff were able to make recommendations and reservations for things to do and see in the region which added to the enjoyment of our stay.
Such a magical hotel. Incredible staff, gorgeous and spacious rooms, and a perfect restaurant and bar. Only 11 rooms so you feel like family and as if you are staying in someone’s palace. Do not even think twice about staying here!!! It’s the perfect and best hotel in the region!!
Beautiful place, good service and location. Nice breakfast.
For "boutique", read expensive designer kitsch! The worst sort of architectural grandstanding. Pleasant and helpful staff, lovely garden, great location, but... poor breakfast, slow service; idiotic magnetic doors; tiny room; There must be better choices!
As others have said in their reviews this hotel values aesthetics over hospitality, facilities and care. We paid for a superior suite and got dumped in a dark basement room with 1 window that opened on to the restaurant. On explaining to the staff that we had paid for a room specifically with a terrace, we were met with defensiveness and made to wait a day for another room to become available. It’s a shame because the interiors are nicely done but it feels like they are now trying to overcharge to make up for however much they spent on the renovation. Again as others have said - everything is for sale even down to the laundry bag in the room. It just feels very money grabby. The spa is extra and parking is not included if you don’t book direct (it was literally the first thing they told us on arrival). At this price point, you’d expect excellent attention to detail but it’s just not there. We didn’t get fresh water every day, sometimes towels were taken and not replaced, we didn’t get enough toilet roll. We didn’t get towels for the pool outside - it’s very hit and miss. There’s pigeon poo all round the pool area. I wouldn’t care if it was cheaper but for nearly €1000 per night, expectations are higher. For me, the breakfast really showed how little care the hotel has for their guests. Bored looking staff, stale bread, soft/mouldy fruit, barely any choice (unless you pay extra) and they only give you half a slice of toast with eggs for some reason. It’s just not what you’d expect at this price point. We would much rather have got a refund and stayed elsewhere but they made sure to make it clear that wouldn’t be possible. All I can say is don’t make the same mistake we did and save your money!
What an incredible hotel! So happy we decided to splurge and stay in what is considered the best hotel in Ostuni, and we now see why! The attention to detail, style and charm of the hotel decor can't be beat with its eclectic decor and historical elegance. Our room was absolutely stunning and beautiful. The staff went well beyond in assisting us with anything we needed help with, including scheduling a boat rental last minute which required numerous calls and research. The location is also absolutely perfect where everything is in an easy walking distance. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return next time!
This is one of the nicest hotels ive ever stayed located in centre of town
The location was amazing - right in the historic center but not in a noisy or busy section. The staff were exceptional and attentive . The hotel and the grounds were absolutely beautiful- tasteful details throughout the property. The all inclusive breafast was delicious and the spread was delicious for an all inclusive breakfast. We had dinner at their resturant and it was an amazing meal. Absolutely LOVED this hotel- a little pricey but absolutely worth it.
The rooms are small- so no option for a group of 3 or traveling with children- you would have to get an additional room . Also the shower is in the bathroom- not seperate or contained so unless you wear the flip flops provided it can be slippery.
Unique decor. Room was spacious and we enjoyed the patio with out door shower. Bed was comfortable. I loved the over sized bathtub. Very clean with daytime and evening turn down service. Property was peaceful as there are only 7 bedrooms.
AC barely cooled the room. The shower in the bathroom leaked behind the bath so it flooded the floor pretty badly. Bad design. Breakfast was subpar.
Great atmosphere
Air conditioning a bit low
Such a disappointment. Horrible Experience. Stay away
I booked a stay at Paragon 700 expecting a luxury, comfortable size , accessible suite in the main building, but what I got was a complete nightmare. This hotel is a prime example of false advertising, and I urge anyone considering staying here to think twice. I reserved and paid for a Deluxe Suite in the main building, specifically chosen because website stated that “entire unit located on ground floor” and is “wheelchair accessible.” Upon arrival, I was shocked to be placed in a completely different and lesser category suite in an annex building that required navigating multiple flights of stairs, including a treacherous spiral open staircase. As I physically could not access the room, I was downgraded to the tiniest, most claustrophobic hole in the wall excuse for a room I have ever seen. The so-called Suite which I was given was a far cry from the Deluxe Suite which was advertised, and which I booked and paid top dollar for. It was not on the ground floor, it was not handicap accessible, there are no elevators, no TV in rooms, faulty WiFi which was unusable, and the complimentary breakfast was an utter joke! The pictures and descriptions online are completely misleading and do not reflect the actual rooms and hotel altogether, and nowhere do they state there is an annex building! To make matters worse, the owner and management were downright horrible. They were dismissive, unhelpful, and made no effort to rectify the situation. It was clear they didn't care about the comfort or satisfaction of their guests. This was easily the worst hotel experience of my life. I feel completely raped and would not recommend this place to anyone. It ruined my stay in Ostuni and it will ruin yours - STAY AWAY!
The waiters and barman and other staff, other than management were very good and helpful. The hotel is beautiful.
The room we booked was not available when we arrived. They tried to put us into a much smaller room (15m2 vs 30m2 (which we had booked)) without explanation. The description of the room we booked said that the room had a walk in shower with a view of the garden and pool and the room we were put into was in the parking lot with the bathroom inside a cupboard and we were paying 700 euros per night. We objected and the response was some unjustified nonsense about the room being the same category that we booked. The room description and size was very far from the one we booked so it makes no sense that it could be the same category. We were moved into a higher category room for the 1st night of our 3 night stay but they tried to move us again on the 2nd night into a different room, again not the one we booked but a smaller one. We insisted on being moved to the room we booked but were told it was not available and we were then charged an extra 80 euros per night to stay in the higher category room. The manager on duty was very rude and got upset when we reported the matter to Booking.com. Sadly, as beautiful as the hotel is and as beautiful as Puglia is, it seems that they are very willing to deceive tourists with room pictures and descriptions when bookings are made and then provide something very different when you arrive. Travellers must be very careful about this when booking this hotel.
Beautiful place!!! Didn’t get free upgrade unfortunately had to pay
The hotel was lovely - the pool a great place to enjoy - the food outstanding
Bathroom facilities a little lacking and pool staff a little inattentive to get a drink - checkin procedure very slow
Everything! A stylish art hotel with such character and history
Nothing!
Hotel location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Beds were too hard and the room needed more light.
A spectacular property! Beautiful accommodations, good food and extremely nice staff! All around a fabulous stay!
