Schönes Hotel in Seaside, unaufdringlicher aber trotzdem guter Service, passables Frühstück (für amerikanische Verhältnisse).

It’s was so clean and welcoming. Location was perfect and the staff was amazing

I love everything about this property

We arrived at midnight with two small kids and no issues. The staff were so accommodating. The room was incredibly clean and to my surprise the bedding and pillows were so comfortable. Their beds even have real comforters (a lot of places now are just doing thin blankets). We brought our own but now I know next time all I need I my soft blanket and I'll be good. Breakfast buffet was amazing so many choices and the potatoes were my favorite! Kids loved the coinvent breakfast and saved us so much money in the long run on food. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Our five year old swam until she was tired and our one year old loved soaking in the hot tub with mom. It was the most incredible trip. It was really for mine and my hubbies anniversary we opted for a family trip and don't regret it at all. Also the hotel is right down the road from an excellent crabbing spot we got two keepers and took them home for dinner on Sunday.

Room set up, the air conditioner is in living area and doesn’t cool the bedroom area well. I was hot, but my boys sleeping on the pullout sofa were freezing

The parking stalls are narrow. It was a tight fit for our small car.

Location, the rooms were new and clean

The breakfast was just ok for the price point of the hotel. Even the yogurt and cream cheese were low quality with lots of additives. It wasn't accommodating to different dietary choices.

Saltline hotel is a fantastic place to stay! The location is perfect for exploring Seaside or going over to Cannon Beach. Additionally, the hotel is close to numerous restaurants or other shops if you are interested in exploring. The staff was so welcoming and gave additional information on what was available at the hotel. They also had some nice little welcome treats! The rooms were very clean and had very comfortable beds, extra blankets, and were nice and cool. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay an extra day. Absolutely fantastic hotel and would come back!

I honestly cannot think about anything I did not like. At times, if there are a lot of people checking in or out, the elevators can be a bit slow, but the stairs are marked so well and it is not a big building so I was perfectly fine taking the stairs.

Individual rooms were dirty. Cleaning staff need to be trained or replaced. Shower looked as if it hadn’t been clean and cap to whirlpool fell into tub as my kids were bathing and it was super moldy. Sheets were placed on bed inside out. Was also a mild odor in the room. For this to be a pet friendly hotel , there should be even more emphasis on cleanliness. Definitely won’t stay here again which is a shame because everything else was great. But a dirty smelly room is enough to make the entire experience bad.

Comfy soft beds. This was a great place to stay. They had free cookies later in the day at the front counter. Staff was always available & nice. There are firepits to sit around, cornhole to play, comfy main area to sit & relax in. The breakfast had all the usual for a hot free breakfast & fruit & cereal. It was good. Pool & hottub worked & were nice. Exercise room was nice too. The rooms were big & nice, & beds were great. Only a block away from the beach & downtown area. I will stay here again for sure.

Only 1 thing to keep this from being a fantastic place - the walls, floors & windows lack any type of sound-proofing. So at the height of tourist season for families, expect lots of crying and thudding to be heard even late in the night

Facility was very clean, great breakfast choices, exceptional pool/hot tub. Location was two blocks to beach, promenade, and shopping. Very quiet room and comfortable beds. Bathroom was equipped with shower bars that helped our aging family members.

I would like a table and chairs in room for card games. We had to go to the lobby area to use a table. Also we had no view of the ocean which would be a plus.

The SaltLine is a convenient location. An easy walk to restaurants and the beach. The room was quiet and clean. And the staff were friendly and polite.

No drawers or closet in the room. Two very shallow drawers and four coat hangers on a rack. Stay with 2 adults and 2 young children out of suitcases was a little difficult.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach—just one block away—and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The room was clean, and the breakfast was decent, especially considering the hotel’s usual rate in the low $100s. We paid considerably more during our stay, likely due to the season or events happening that weekend.

The Wi-Fi connection was not very stable during our stay. It also would have been helpful to have some shelves or storage space inside the pool area (there are lockers just outside the pool).

Parking lot is tight for larger vehicles. The rooms are cleaned on request only. Upon arrival - my sheets were dirty when checked in. Asked about housekeeping and was told they had gone home for the day. Requested to have room serviced next day but sheets were still not changed.

This was my third stay at Saltline. I love the location, I am able to park my car and everything is a short walking distance. Breakfast was delicious as always. Very clean. Staff always friendly and helpful.

The staff, the food, the amenities... everything was perfect and comfortable from the moment we walked in the door! Only wish we could have stayed longer! The breakfast was lit! Board games and bikes then a nice swim. The room was very clean and comfy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return soon.

Breakfast didn't have potatoes Monday, looked like hotel ran out of some basic breakfast items. Power plugs in room didnt all work. Had to double up phone chargers on other outlets.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. My son loved the pool!

The hot tub was not very “hot”, would have loved it to be warmer.

I really liked the location. The breakfast offers a great variety, the beach is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of shops nearby. The room was very spacious, and I loved that they have an outdoor fire pit, games and even swings!

One suggestion for improvement would be to add a few floating shelves in the bathroom, as there isn’t much space to place your toiletries.

The size of the room and bathroom, the whole hotel looked really nice and in a decent spot for all the activities and beach.

They don't check things out very good. I lost my food cause our fridge did not get cool at all. The microwave did not want to work and the shower head was leaking so bad that I had to put a towel on the back of it so it wouldn't wet the whole floor while I took a shower. It's a nice hotel but we just wish it was checked out better by your staff.

Close walking distance to the beach, workers are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, breakfast is great! So many things it’s our 2nd stay

The only thing I didn’t like this year was there was a 2 Year old not wearing a diaper in the swimming pool which was concerning. Prob need to enforce rules around toddler wearing some kind of swimmers in the pool.

it was very clean and comfortable. I was dealing with Upstairs people being very loud. Good after midnight they quieted down and I could hear a dog parking.

Close to all the shops and beach

Paper thin walls. Could hear everything going on in the rooms around us and above us. Loud clanging and bangs upstairs which was constant. Every time someone would flush in surrounding rooms you could hear a loud swishing and it sounded like it was right in our room. Carpet felt like there was no padding underneath and it was just on plywood. Even just gentle walking was loud. I could not sleep with all the noises. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in. The beds were very comfortable and the location was excellent.

The staff is the best. They work very hard and do an excellent job. The pool and hot tub are really good. The breakfast has a lot of variety. An easy two block walk to the beach.

Some breakfast items need more attention so they don't get cold.

Pool was freezing. Someone threw up at the pool and it was harder than it should’ve been to find someone to clean it. No one was ever at the front desk to even answer calls. Walls are paper thin.

Parking was difficult, as is always the case. Their parking spots are very narrow and straight in versus angled, making it difficult to park at all and even when parked it just invites door dings from reckless children, etc.

Hot tub wasn’t very hot, and in my room you could hear when the elevator was being used.

Spacious 2b suite, perfect for a big family trip. King beds and a sofa bed. TVs in each room. Small fridge and a microwave are available inside.

At the moment of our visit hot tub was closed.

The check-in team were especially welcoming. Enjoyed the cookies and taffy too.

The free breakfast was the second best I've ever experienced out of probably 75 motels. The only one better had a resteraunt next door in another building and you could get anything on the menu. Was an inexpensive motel but by the following year they were already out of business.

The weather. You can't control that though. Wasn't bad for the ore./wa. coast in April.

Soap that was provided did not smell the greatest. Bathroom floor was such a weird yellow color it just reminded me of urine but honestly if thats the worst thing I would stay their time and time again.

When booking this hotel, we thought it was “right on the beach, and Boardwalk“ when in actuality, you could not even see the beach from the deck. Was not clear in the advertising where the actual location was in relation to the beach or that the view from the deck looked directly into a less than optimal hotel blocking all other view.

Everything! It was great! Super location, super breakfast, all the amenities you would need (like hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, ice machines close by, elevator service, friendly staff, nice and clean, oh, pool & hot tub available, towels for use (we didn't need all of them, but very nice that it was available). Other amenities were things like a sitting outside area, a fountain, corn hole game (not sure if that's what it's called). Also, front desk is 24 hour manned and the parking lot is secure. This was an absolutely nice place!

The property was fine. It feels new in that it doesn't seem to have a personality yet but it is fine. It did have both a microwave and a fridge as well as a spare chair other than the desk chair. These are important to us. The bed was also comfortable.

There was alot of arguing at 4:30am outside among the homeless residing in the corner of the parking lot. The desk was certainly not wide enough to accommodate a computer.

The staff are so courteous and the rooms are clean.

We didn't have a table or chairs to play games but we went and bought a card table and folding chairs so it wasn't a big deal.

Breakfast lackluster, walls in room a bit thin

The location was wonderful easy to walk to town and beach. They have bikes that you can rent for free a continental breakfast that is delicious with lots of variety a nice pool and hot tub.

The rooms are very small. We are a family of 47-year-old boy 12-year-old girl and we felt very crowded in the room. We had a two queen balcony room.

4th time here and 1st time you had to request your room to be cleaned. The person I checked in with didn't tell us we had to request room service, at the price it should be the opposite...you let them know you don't want it. Why are there plastic security tabs on the pillows? People still that many pillows?

The vast majority of the parking lot was compact only spots… not great.
