Fireplace, cleaners were very friendly and so was office staff.

Room had chunks of paint missing on the walls. Coffee pot broke. I had to ask for another. The strip around the sink was missing. Spots on the couch and chair. Uncomfortable couch and chair worn out. The floor was sunken by the bed and under the bed. Room was very small. Not like the others I rented there. This was my fourth stay there, and this room was awful.

One of the best locations (if not the best) you can get at this price with an ocean view! The beach is literally just a few steps away, and we saw one of the most beautiful sunsets of our lives there. Firewood for a beach bonfire is available at reception, which is a really nice touch. The hotel itself has a cool, laid-back atmosphere, is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s also close to the town centre, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Great place!

The property is very old and in desparate need of updating. No A/C or HVAC. Windows barely open and two box fans for moving air. The 'couch' had stains and was very old.

Excellent location with easy parking. Close enough to the action but far enough to avoid excessive night time noise. Very family friendly with decent free breakfast. Staff goes above and beyond to be welcoming and accommodating. No AC but fans provided. I thought I would be bothered by this but it was not a problem once the windows were opened. It's not a state-of-the-art fancy hotel so expect some wear and tear of the rooms. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms. The two queen beds room had an entire separate bedroom with its own tv - awesome if two couples are traveling and need some individual space. Will definitely come back!

Love it here, the rooms are comfy and the hotel is near everything. Their coffee is the best as well!

The cost is expensive during the summer but that is to be expected. We still choose Ebb every time we go to Seaside.

We have stayed in Seaside several times and this was one of the better Hotels we have stayed in. The staff were so friendly, the room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. They also are very family oriented. They have fresh cookies in the lobby, a huge breakfast selection in the morning. They even sell little baskets for smores or a little movie night. We also utilized the swimming pool and it was great for our 2 6 year olds. Would definitely stay here again!!

Some of the furniture in the room was very outdated needed replacing the faucet on the tub didn’t work properly. Need some attention. The big thing for us was the lack of Wi-Fi. We would have to keep connecting constantly and it never stayed connected. It was never strong enough to use our devices and that was a big issue, but the staff was incredible so we will be returning.

Gross, mold and rust, couldn’t hardly even breathe it was so stuffy, windows only partially opened, loud bathroom fan dies nothing, shower steam immediately sets off fire alarm, can’t open front door all the way, bed and pillows are marshmallows, carpets are moldy and gross, walls are paper thin, toilet reeks. It was less a hotel room and more so a sick social experiment. Oh, and they lied about the full refund, they only refunded half

Only a location next to the beach. It was noisy and there were a lot of shady people walking outside the beach walk. I liked that I could bring my dog. That’s about it.

The outside grounds was dirty. It felt like a run down place. To get to my room it was dark and dingy. The bedroom felt small and cramped and I decided to sleep on the couch instead. My total amount I paid was $278. With all the added taxes and sur charges. It was not worth that cost at all. I will not recommend staying here to anyone nor will I want to come back.

We love the friendly staffs. We have been visiting for years now and we always experience a precent experience with all the staffs there.

View was beautiful. Staff was friendly. Location was so convenient. We were in town for volleyball tournament, easy walk to the main area and didn’t have to worry about parking.

No AC. Prices were high for what we were getting because it was Seaside Volleyball tournament week. Same at all other hotels in area.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Plenty room for 5 of us. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Love the short walk to the beach and the beautiful sunset. Location was a short walking distance to shops and local places to eat. Complimentary breakfast was a plus. They also have an indoor pool and hot tub but we didn’t get a chance to use it. The place was better than expected.

Super friendly staff, great location and walkable to everything, dog friendly, good hot breakfast. Our 16 year old son found the pull out to be filled with crumbs and super uncomfortable. He ended up just sleeping on the couch. But other than that great hotel!

We had a great time for my niece's beach birthday. The rooms were clean and perfect for our family. The staff was so kind and helpful. I loved the free breakfast it was the best one I've had staying at a place in a long time! The free cookies, tea, coffee and water fill up was a nice touch. Everything is just really perfect there. Right next to the aquarium and so easy to walk to town. The beach was the highlight for sure!

Over-priced, but it was the cheapest ocean front hotel on the coast. Location good. Windows don’t fully open so room feels stuffy even with fans running. Near town. It’s right on the ocean but it’s a trek to reach water.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ebb-Tide Oceanfront Inn! We had the ocean view room on the 2nd floor and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed gazing out at the beautiful view of the beach & ocean in the distance. Room was clean, comfortable and had great hot water pressure in the shower. No AC, but they had a fan in the room which cooled down the temperature enough to sleep comfortably. Breakfast was included near the lobby along with fresh filtered water and hot water for tea available in the lobby throughout the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. A short walk to Broadway with all the shops and restaurants. Would happily stay here again on our next trip to Seaside!

The biggest positive is the location. You can see the promenade and beach from the window, the room looks reasonably clean when you first walk in, and the beds are not actively hostile. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience felt like paying more than $300 a night to participate in a humidity endurance challenge. There is no air conditioning, and the windows open just enough to remind you that fresh air exists somewhere outside. We had to leave the room door open and crack the windows just to make the room remotely comfortable. At night, our options were: 1. Close everything and slowly become steamed vegetables. 2. Open the windows and listen to the promenade’s nightlife until morning. The soundproofing appears to consist mainly of hope. The room was also “surface clean,” meaning it looked fine until you started using your eyes. The walls and doors had visible grime, the bathroom caulking was peeling up in several places, and there was some kind of mysterious yellow residue running down the bathroom door. I do not know what it was, and I would like to return to a time when I had never seen it. The fireplace did not work, but it did successfully take up space. The Internet cuts out so frequently it isn't worth it trying to connect to it. The shower curtain seemed morally opposed to keeping water inside the shower. The water temperature offered two settings: arctic research station and lawsuit. The shampoo and conditioner also left my hair feeling like it had been punished for something. The toilet barely flushed. You had to stand there holding the handle and encouraging it like a nervous child at a school recital. “Come on, you can do it. Just a little more.” For this price, I did not expect to have to provide emotional support to the plumbing. There also appeared to be possible black mold on the bathroom walls and shower curtain, which really completed the room’s ‘indoor swamp’ aesthetic. The room description advertised a full-size refrigerator in the kitchenette. We spent some time wondering whether the full-size refrigerator was invisible. What we actually received was a mini fridge smaller than the one in my bedroom at home. The room was also advertised as sleeping five people. Where would the fifth person sleep? The bathtub? The nonworking fireplace? Suspended from the ceiling? We only had two people, and even then I would say the room could realistically accommodate a couple with two children or perhaps two couples. Advertising it for five people feels wildly optimistic. Then there was the price. We booked through Expedia for $211 per night and paid the deposit. When we arrived, the hotel charged us $315 per night. When we raised the issue, the response was essentially, “We have nothing to do with that.” Apparently the hotel is involved enough with Expedia to accept the reservation, but not involved enough to care when the price suddenly increases by more than $100 per night. Had we known the actual price, we could have booked a much nicer hotel with luxuries such as air conditioning, clean doors, accurate room descriptions, and perhaps even a shower temperature located somewhere between freezing and boiling. I also texted the hotel several times asking for help and received no response. The silence was impressive. We will never stay here again. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and easily the most expensive opportunity I have had to sleep in a hot, humid room while listening to strangers outside.

Right on the beach and an easy 5 mins walk to plenty of restaurants and shops. Free parking and breakfast. We didn’t use the pool but it was nice to have it there as an option. Our room felt really spacious and we loved that it faced the sea so we could enjoy the view.

Pet friendly! Overall, we had a very nice stay. Our room was comfortable, and although my husband was a little concerned at first that there wasn't A/C, opening the windows and using the fans kept the room cool enough. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean, and we slept well. The only real downside was the noise from the upstairs neighbors, who came in after 10 p.m. and spent quite a bit of time stomping around, making it difficult to relax. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a nice variety of options. My son especially loved the automatic pancake maker! Housekeeping also did a great job, and we appreciated having our beds made up each day. Our only other complaint was the Keurig in the room—we couldn't get it to work, which was frustrating. My husband also wasn't impressed with the light roast coffee that was provided. Despite a few minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Amazing veiw of the ocean, and breakfast everymorning !!

The toilets were too dang small! GFI seemed to pop everytime I used to plug in the bathroom, it turned off the power in the second bedroom. Ooops. They came and fixed it the first time, but I kept having to reset it.

The location is great, the staff was friendly but not overly so. They service the rooms daily, which is not usually the case with other places i have stayed post-Covid. Facilities are clean and the pool and hot tub are nice.

The suite is in a terrible location with a bad room setup- opening the room door blocks access completely to the bedroom. It's right under the stairs and near the elevator, at times there was loud thumping, loud people, and doors slamming late at night. Room smelled like smoke when we arrived, possibly from people smoking on the corner outside which I realized was a common smoking area. You have to open windows for fresh air. Fan had globs of dust and hair, so we had to get a new one right away. Maintenance did bring is a box fan very quickly afterwards and it was greatly appreciated. Floor is very slippery in the bathroom, my son fell just walking and hit his head. We had to implement a no socks in the bathroom rule, and it was still quite slippery. One reason we selected this place was the continental breakfast, but it was totally inedible - eggs were fake looking, as was the sausage for that matter, and bagel had mold spots on it so we ended up eating breakfast out during our stay. It was bad. If you are even remotely discerning about food, I would not count on eating their breakfast. Floor into the pool/elevator area gets wet from people dripping water after swimming and it's the same slippery tile as the bathrooms, so gets a bit treacherous through that area.

The hallways smelled weird. The basement garage also smelled really terrible. Pool was very crowded and unable to enjoy this amenity during my stay. Very expensive for what was offered, beach by this location was sketchy as well.

NOTHING like the webpage pics. This place is hugely outdated. It needs renovation and TLC. The wall, fixtures, furniture are beat up and old. You can smell the ancient carpet. The rooms were clean, but that doesn’t coverup the condition of everything. The only good things were that the staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. Disappointing and overpriced.

Everything was as promised and the location was good and within walking distance to most everything in town.

I forgot to look if there was guest laundry there and saw upon checkout that we could have laundered some things before heading home, but that's on me. The rest was great.

That it was in walking distance to the beach and downtown Seaside. It was a great experience for my family. We celebrate my daughter's 12 birthday and she had a great time.

Some of the kitchen cabinets were missing or broken, and room was extremely warm in summer. You must bring your own dishes and utensils. I guess things go missing or get broken. Only good to sleep and shower there in the room basically.

Location is great! Our room was nice, they are a little dated but overall a good place to stay. Breakfast was great, always Very crowded! Unfortunately the pancake machine was down the week we were there. We come back to this hotel year after year!

Only highlight of our stay was the breakfast!! Room was not clean and it had a smell. Poor parking!! The price was way too high! We stayed in Room #302. Would not stay there again!!

The room was great! On the ground floor with easy access to the both the parking lot and the beach. Lots of space in the room with a fridge and wet bar area with a microwave.

Bathroom had old toilet paper on floor behind door, tv did not work, no instructions on how to phone front desk, bathroom needed repairs to shower rod and toilet screws. Curtains were very difficult to open and close.

The staff members were all courteous, professional and intent on making our stay as pleasant as possible. We had an ocean view room with a king bed. We loved the fact that a big sheet was given to us to put over the bed so that our little dog could jump up and join us there. The room was comfortable, and the view of the dunes and the ocean beyond the best! Breakfast was a bonus.

The only thing I noticed was that the kitchenette didn't have any silverware, plates or utensils. We did get a take-out meal, since we had our pup with us, but in our experience a kitchenette usually has some items to help guests eat 'at home.'

Ebb Tide was a great place to stay when we were in Seaside. Proximity to the town and beach was perfect. Staff accomodate guest well. Would definitely stay there again......
