朝食のパンにバターが欲しいなと感じたので、バターを置いて欲しい

彼女の誕生日で利用させていただいたのですが、お部屋の飾り付けなどスタッフの方々がとても親切に対応してくださってとてもいい思い出になりました。施設内も綺麗でお部屋の設備もとても良く、ご飯も美味しくて最高の旅になりました。

Poor customer service, food was not good and they do not accommodate allergies even if you message ahead of time, facilities were dated/needed repair and not very clean, beds were lumpy.

花火の時期に行きましたが花火はホテルから見えテラスでは縁日がやっており無料で提供していて部屋はとっても快適でサービス満点で良かったです。

お風呂の時に給湯器が壊れてシャワーが水でした。

We arrived 15 minutes late to dinner service and they were unwilling to accomodate us even though the restaurant was still full of people eating. We told them that we had just arrived but the male staff member was unsympathethic and unwilling to accomodate or give us an alternative suggestion. We therefore had no dinner.

Hôtel très confortable avec beaucoup de charme. La chambre pour 4 avec bain extérieur est fabuleuse. Le onsen est également très bien (avec glaces délicieuses à disposition en en sortant) et avec des bains variés. Dîner excellent et le bar à thés et tisanes est très appréciable. Le prêt de yakutas pour le séjour crée une ambiance à part.

Rien. Il y a juste une petite montée à l’arrivée si on vient à pied de la gare avec les valises mais le fait d’être en hauteur à Gora permet d’être plus au calme ensuite.

①清潔さ まずはホテルのロビーからお部屋、レストランまで全て清潔で快適でした！ロビーの落ち着いた雰囲気が好きです！ ②システム チェックイン、チェックアウトはタブレットで行うため、スムーズでわかりやすいシステムなのが良かったと思います。また、チェックイン前や、チェックアウト後に荷物を預けることもできて、特に有難かった点は、チェックアウト後にスーツケースを箱根湯本駅まで配送していただき、ホテルまで戻ることなく、帰り道の箱根湯本で荷物を受け取れたことです！1500円とお金はかかりますが、旅行の計画もスムーズに進むため、とても良いシステムだと思いました！ ③スタッフの方々 チェックイン前やチェックアウト後の対応は上に書いたように、とても親切に対応していただきました！今回は誕生日のお祝いで利用させていただき、誕生日プレートを用意していただいたのですが、その際にチェキも撮ってもらえて、チェックアウト後に写真をいただくことができました。思い出にもなったし、とても嬉しかったです！

強羅駅から徒歩5分ほどの場所にあるのですが、道のりに坂があるため、スーツケースを持ちながらの歩きは少し大変でした。 荷物が少ない方やリュックの方は、荷物を運びにくい等の心配は大丈夫だと思います！

①食事（金額の割にイマイチ…） 子供が中学生だったが、お子様ランチのようなディナーで、残念がっていた。 ②部屋が若干カビ臭い（敏感な方は気になる程度） ③景観がイマイチ 部屋から見える景色のお手入れがなされていない ④スタッフさんに日本人が少なく、料理の説明がよくわからなかった

よく知らずにホテルを決めたけど薬膳バー（お茶のブースみたいなもの）に甘いお酒やちょっとしたお菓子もあって選んで飲むのが楽しかった 朝限定のスムージーはとっても美味しいのでおすすめします 賑わってはいたけど騒がしくはなく静かな雰囲気で落ち着けたのが良かった フロントスタッフはもちろんリネン交換の方もにこやかに挨拶してくれてホテルを出るときまで気持ちよくいられた

Expérience unique à faire pour vivre surtout un dîner traditionnel. Le bar à thé est riche et à volonté. Les bains et sauna pratiques mais manqueraient un peu de rénovation car il y a du passage. Les chambres et leur terrasse équipée de baignoire est unique.

We went through reverse Hakone Loop and the hotel was conveniently located right next to the Tozan Cable Car station. We’ve seen most of the attractions by the time we reached the hotel and got to relax in the onsen at the end of our day. We enjoyed the public facilities with everything provided including Yukatas. The dinner and breakfast were very much Japanese, but they did provide special meal for my daughter. Drinks including alcohol, were included. Tea and coffee as well as snacks available all the time at the herbal tea bar. Our room was spacious and clean.

The hotel is located about 20 min walk from the open air museum in Hakone. There's also a convenience store just outside the hotel. The breakfast is nice, mainly Japanese breakfast but some Western options as well. Staff were super helpful with everything we needed.

Parking was a bit cramped.

Our rooms balcony overlooked a brewery and was quite noisy late at night.

薬膳バーがかなり種類が豊富で、夜間も共用スペースでゆっくりできる。温泉はジャグジーと大浴場、サウナ、水風呂のみで、露天風呂はないけれど何回も入りたくなるような温泉だった。ベランダからの眺望も良かった。

自分が匂いに敏感なせいもあるが、前に滞在されていたであろう海外の方の香水の臭いが家具に染み込んでしまっていて、気分を悪くしてしまった。ただ、スタッフの方がすぐに対応してくださり部屋を変えてくださったり、とても親切にしていただいた。

箱根登山電車、ケーブルカーの強羅駅から徒歩約10分ほど。ケーブルカーの公園下駅からは徒歩2～3分程度。大変閑静な場所にあり、コンビニのデイリーヤマザキが徒歩数十秒ほどのところにあり、各種揃えられる。落ち着いた雰囲気で、部屋もかなり余裕があるほど広い。部屋にユニットバスはあるが、地下1階に温泉（露天風呂ではない）があり、サウナ付き。かなりリラックスできる。また多少お金がかかるが、朝食はかなり美味なので外したくない。

強羅駅から歩くとかなり急な坂道を歩くので、足元に不安がある方は注意。公園下駅を利用した方がよい。また低層階の場合、あまり部屋からの景色は期待しない方がよい。

Great location, beautiful views, and wonderful communal and personal onsen. The medicinal tea bar was wonderful as well.

The rules of this hotel are very strict/stuffy and inhospitable. There was no place to sit before check in. I also shared in advance that I had a meeting that lasted 30 minutes after check out and they charged me 3300 (and kept calling to make sure I came down to pay while the meeting was in progress rather than waiting til it was over). This made it hard to lead my important meeting. Still as someone from the US I understand that much of this could be cross cultural so I would give them a try again.

The staff doesn’t have a clue about hospitality. Especially the restaurant staff, if you ask them for a chargeable breakfast to be added, it’s like they are doing you a favour. The person there embarrassed me by asking me time and again (4 times) if i had paid in cash, which i had BUT she kept running back and forth just to clarify again and again and again and again (4 times). Training your team is crucial. With such a wonderful hotel, it’s a big oversight that needs attention. Good luck

I loved everything about this hotel and more specifically the Yukata, the sento which was really amazing, the food, the tea bar. The room was HUGE which is very rare in Japan, and the beds veeery comfortable.

Das Hotel ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar (eine Station mit der Standseilbahn vom Bahnhof Gora und dann annähernd eben auch mit Gepäck gut machbar), sehr große Zimmer, außergewöhnliche Teebar, Onsen, sehr gutes Abendessen mit Getränken/Alkohol incl. und sehr gutes Frühstück, problemloser Check-in an der Rezeption, Gepäckaufbewahrung.

The stay exceeded my expectations quite highly. Even before the stay, the staff was very accommodating and communicative. Due to a typhoon, I had to change travel plans by a day, and they were very flexible and understanding about it. The access to the hotel does entail a somewhat steep climb, but because of the way Gora is structured, I think that is inevitable. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was also well sized. It also had a nice balcony. My room was on the 2nd Floor, so quite level with the hill at the back, but I can imagine it is even nicer if you are further up. The highlight for me was the dinner and breakfast. These are somewhat pricey extras but fully worth it. The dinner especially is quite an experience, with multiple courses of very high quality meals. I would happily come back if I get the chance to come to Hakone again.

Ich hatte einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Das Zimmer das ich gebucht hatte war sehr groß, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die Lage zum Bahnhof ist auch sehr gut weil man zu Fuss nur maximal 10 Minuten braucht, je nachdem wie schnell man läuft. Vom Bahnhof zum Hotel ist es allerdings zu Fuss mit Koffer anstrengend da es nur bergauf geht. Der Park ist fussläufig nur ca. 3 Minuten entfernt und selbst der Skulpturenpark ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Hotel bietet jedoch einen Shuttlebus der einen zum Bahnhof bringt. Im Gemeinschaftsraum wird kostenfrei eine große Auswahl an vielen unterschiedlichen Teesorten angeboten.

- The unit I stayed at has a wooden outdoor tub. Not onsen water but nice to dip in spring weather. - In the basement they have an actual onsen, and they provide yukata's too. - My unit was spacious, enough for a family of 4 or 5.

- Since it's in Gora, it's a private or secluded location. Maybe those who want more shops to shop and eat nearby will have to book somewhere else. - They don't provide transport to the hotel from Gora station, even though they do provide transport from hotel to Gora station.

El mejor hotel en el que me he quedado hasta ahora. Si tienen la oportunidad de quedarse allí, no lo duden. Eso si, reserven cena porque cenar por la zona es difícil. La habitación era enorme y con una terraza Preciosa con vistas al bosque.

Qué no dieran opción a cenar ya que no lo teníamos contratado y nos dijeron que no había hueco.

5 min from Gora station. My quadruple room corner suite has beautiful view. Open bath is private and relaxing. Medicinal tea is fantastic.

Shuttle service has to book the night before is not very accommodating. Its a short run to station should make it available periodically through the day. Dinner was fine but not impressive

Conveniently located in Gora, easily reachable even with a backpack (about a 300-meter uphill walk from the station). Traditional yukata are available for guests for dinner (not mandatory). The included traditional dinner was excellent. The staff were outstanding, both in terms of kindness and helpfulness. I highly recommend it.

The facility was very clean, rooms are spacious, the onsen and sauna were also clean.

The food (dinner and breakfast) was really underwhelming. We opted for half-board. The dinner was fairly simple for something endorsed as "kaiseki" on their website. The meat dish was so oily and bland. Half of the dishes are just being reheated using the blue fondue gel typically used by ryokans and they end up overcooked. It's not that it tasted bad, it was just really underwhelming. The breakfast was a buffet and it was really simple for a ryokan and not a lot of options. Almost like a business hotel breakfast.

This was our favorite stay on our trip. We had a quadruple bunk bed room that was clean, modern, and large with a private tub on the patio. The tea room was an absolute treat, breakfast was amazing with loads of vegetarian options, and our onsen experience was wonderful. All bath rules and instructions are in Japanese, so look them up beforehand or use a translator if it’s your first time and you are not fluent.. Gora is a fabulous location with lots to walk to but the seclusion we desired between big city stays.

ただ薬膳の場所が少し狭いため、食後すぐに行ったりと空いてそうな時間を狙っていくといいと思います！

It was very inviting and well run. Room was spacious and comfortable and I enjoyed the balcony bath and the communal onsen. Perfectly placed for the Hakone Circuit.

Maybe the breakfast was a bit limited for a western audience. Some toast might have been nice! Minor quibble as it was fun trying different things. Maybe some handouts for the gaijin on how to use their onsen and yukata etiquette too!!
