Not having a kettle in the room, the bathroom fan being on all night (when no-one in)and the skirting board in the bathroom coming away from the wall! Having stayed here previously 5 times with no issues we were disappointed to say the least. The kettle was replaced but you can't replace not getting any sleep!!!

Although I was one of only three people in the building I was told I could not check in 40 mins early which seemed farcical. No kettle in the room

The only let down is the breakfast. It’s okay but not great.

I personally didn't find the pillows comfortable but that's very much a personal thing.

Location and car park were great. Perfect for getting around Lancashire. We accidentally booked an accessible room and the staff were happy for us to change it, even though the hotel was very busy. They had Halal options which is the first time I've seen this in a hotel.

Breakfast was a little disappointing choices were limited was only scrambled eggs no other egg choice, only two types of bread white and brown, only pastries were mini croissant and mini blueberry muffins and there was one waffle maker and batter machine so the queue was long and only golden syrup to go with them not maple, staff were friendly rooms were lovely fridge and kettle lovely iron a good touch

The bedside lamp in our room was broken, had a hole in the base where the switch was supposed to go, the hairdryer did not heat up, the bedroom doors should be soft closing as other guests don’t seem to know how to shut the doors quietly so constant door slamming also we experienced loud piercing high pitched alarms coming from bedrooms around us then on our last night ( we stayed 3 nights) we were woken at 1.30am by the same nouse in our room, we went to reception to report it and staff came and had to silence it and advised us it was an air con issue when the air gets too dry an alarm goes off

This hotel is located off the main road and easy to access. The decor is bright, stylish and well maintained and the room had everything we would need for an overnight stay such as a fridge, good shower and an iron. The bed was comfortable and sheets and towels were immaculately clean. A fresh waffle maker was available at breakfast which was a hit with my children.

The hotel breakfast was poor in comparison to other hotels in this class. It looked good on arrival but both coffee machines were not functioning properly and a lot of the cups had marks in them. The eggs were runny and sausages were not of a good quality. Not enough staff were available and those who were, were very polite but seemed overwhelmed.

The breakfast was very good, including gluten free options. However, it could have been better laid out, we had collected cooked items before we saw the cereal.

Location was good for what we required. Price seemed okay when we booked.

The room we booked was for 2 Adults and a child but the sofa bed wasn't set up so had to ask for this to be done. Didn't realise till late (10pm) that we had no kettle so requested one at reception as we wanted a hot drink, told we would get one but never did. The sofa bed when it was made up was very uncomfortable as it was just the sofa seat and not a mattress, that was hard and a gap between them as they wouldn't stay together. The double bed mattress was not comfortable either. You could hear the springs twanging when you sat or laid on it and both me and my wife didn't sleep well at all. Mentioned the kettle the next morning and just received the obligatory 'sorry'. We then had breakfast which was not hot. Some items like the hash browns were not even warm.

Excellent hotel, great value for money, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed the breakfast and everything about the hotel, our room 207 was lovely. We went to see a show at blackburn empire theartre which was fantastic. Had a lovely relaxing stay with you.... We definatly will be back. Thankyou.🙂

Car park charges, free on last visit. Also, called night before to ask if we could check in early if room free. Room was free but asked to pay extra per hour - Not explained previous night. Very positive stay in March, not as positive this stay.

It was very modern but very cozy . The rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable . The price was reasonable. The staff were good. I wish they could just include the parking fee in the whole bill because I forgot to pay and trying to pay was complicated .

Good hotel at a convenient location. Our room was quite big and was well equiped, modern interior. The airconditioning worked really well. There are multiple dinner options nearby. There are charging stations accross the street, as I (as tourist) couldn't use the ones at the hotel parking.

Guests left a lot of trash/used items in front of the room for staff to pick up, which wasn't done regularly. During breakfast tables weren't cleaned often enough and some items gone, probably caused by a lack of staff.

Rooms are really big. Not sure if all rooms cater for disabled as our family were in a disabled room as well. Very big bathroom which was a wet room,, huge TV, Smeg fridge and kettle. Couldn't fault the room at all

Breakfast was ecmzcellent but no tables had been cleared when we went down for breakfast at 8:15. We had to clear a table to sit ourselves. But this was our only fault with the hotel

Although selection of breakfast items was reasonable quite a few items needed replenishing. Breakfast room was very messy-lots of dirty dishes on tables buffet area very messy. No socket near a mirror-so difficult to use hairdryer. Quite a lot of dust in the room on various surfaces and skirting board Food/takeaway wrappers just left outside rooms in corridor even though housekeeping staff were still there.

The price of the hotel was excellent for our 4 night stay with breakfast included. The breakfast was a good standard and we really enjoyed that. Also enjoyed the gym.

The room got a very minimal clean every day. During Four night day stay the sheets were not changed, the floor was never hoovered and the toiletries weren’t replenished. Also, it’s very obvious there was a problem with drainage in both the sink and the shower and these were not tackled.

Everything was lovley breakfast was great so many options loved the large windows in the room and the ac the dual head shower was lovley

I only eat continental breakfasts, so the choice of pastries etc was perhaps not huge.. however the cooked breakfasts have come highly recommended. Staff very pleasant. The room was spacious and very bright with lovely modern accessories. The matching Smeg fridge and kettle were very attractive. Lift was quick to arrive.

Bowls of fruit were almost empty when I wanted to add some to my yogurt. More choice of pastries maybe.

The staff were brilliant, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. The manager was particularly polite, welcoming and professional, which made me feel very comfortable. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and really appreciated the warm hospitality.

The only issue I noticed was that the downstairs toilet was not as clean as I would have expected. I feel this area could benefit from more frequent cleaning and checks throughout the day

The breakfast was poor quality product, eg tinned fruit not fresh, and the hot food had been sat for a while, in all, just about acceptable. The room was very good, very clean, big TV, excellent bathroom and the beds were very comfortable.

I booked this hotel as I am a Hilton Honours member and collect their loyalty points, but when I asked the receptionist to credit the points to my account for the stay, I was told that I wouldn’t receive loyalty points because I had used a 3 rd party booking app ( ie Booking.com ) I hadn’t been told this when booking.

Problem with air-conditioning, reported to reception, was informed they would send maintenance to sort it, got dressed in the evening, and they never showed up, so no air con, no sleep 😴 dangerous 4 hours driving thr next day very sad. There are no windows to open, so made for a very uncomfortable night.

Beds - very uncomfortable ( used to have a great nights sleep didn’t get a wink this time. ) Breakfast - poor limited cooked choices. Asked for poached (which they used to do no bother) a curt not it’s scrambled. Which were awful. Parking - used to be free now you have to pay £3.00 per night. Not a lot but not mentioned on booking - apparently Booking.com have hidden it in small print.

. Stayed here for the family wedding with extended family and friends. Must say we were very impressed with the hospitality and quality of the hotel. They did halal sausages for us for breakfast, which was very nice. The rooms and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel and will book again when in north west again.

My stay at the Hampton was excellent from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast offered an impressive selection, with plenty of hot and cold options. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Dinner was equally impressive, nice food, reasonably priced. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with excellent food and outstanding service. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting blackburn.

This is a modern hotel at a great location. Deceptively large hotel with plenty of parking and close to city. Our family group enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very busy but fresh and plenty of variety. Staff very friendly and helpful too. Thank you for looking after us.

Our room was clean and well presented. The receptionists were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

The downstairs toilet was dirty when we went for breakfast. My husband ended up going back to our room to use the bathroom because the downstairs toilet was not clean. It would be appreciated if staff could check and clean it regularly to ensure it is kept in a good condition for all guests.

Room was slightly dirty as the panel under the Tv had sticky greasy stains there which wasn’t good so couldn’t use that space and there was also an issue with the sink drain in the toilet whereby the water wasn’t going down

Checked in very early......great chap on desk.....nice welcome. Have stayed here many times....still looks new. Got the disabled room.....could see how good this could be if I was.[few months yet] Pond on the north of the hotel has very low level....but still wildlife activity. Clean gym ....30kg dumbbells max. Breakfast good.

Not a lot really. £3 parking charge....why bother? Stayed since it was built...always nothing...until now.. That's progress!🥲 Don't want to appear like this was a negative experience.

Second time staying but a disappointment. First of all had to pay for parking which was not mentioned in booking..smart tv had no Internet access so again disappointef

Modern with plenty of parking spaces. The beds were comfortable and the staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and included in the overnight charge - including the English breakfast options. The room rate was very reasonable all things considered. The hotel is next to the M65 junction and easy to find.

The EV charging wasn’t available because Chargepoint has withdrawn from the retail market and the staff were unable to help. Irritatingly, parking was an extra charge on a separate contract. There were some maintenance issues - the air conditioning controller in one of the rooms was broken and drawer handles were missing. The pocket door to one of the en-suites was stiff and difficult to open. One of the rooms was missing a kettle, but this was rectified immediately by the staff. The breakfast options were a little limited compared to other Hampton’s but adequate given that there is no evening restaurant at the hotel. The English breakfast was a little dried up at 8:30 to 9 as it is a self serve. Probably need to get down early to get it at its best.

Fantastic location on the route between Scotland and Manchester with the car park. Located next to Sturbucks and motorway. We have arrived very late at night time . Adam very kindly assigned interconnected room for us. Breakfast available from 6am and mini gym 24h. We had great stay.

Really spacious, plenty of parking, modern and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the reception/seating space to work which was ell laid out. For a 3 star I was really impressed.

Breakfast quality poor. Seriously understaffed. The guys were overstretched resulting in cold food, food and equipment not being replaced, and tables not being cleared promptly. The two people were doing their best. Sort your budgeting out. You're not exactly cheap so you should be providing a decent service. Perhaps think customer satisfaction and staff wellbeing before profit. Also, the mattresses are worn out and not very comfortable.

Rooms were a bit shabby, curtains off the rail so light came in instantly at sun rise. The spare bed was made after we arrived yet it kept moving out of place .bathroom looked worn out some holes in the wall the plug socket was pulled out and on the side. The handles on the cupboards were pulled off. This hotel used to be free parking this was annoying add on.

Good parking, modern hotel and lovely rooms. I was pleasantly surprised, the communal area had a nice vibe and really nice decor. The bedrooms have air con, huge tvs, nice shower, lovely little sofa, smeg fridge and kettle. Also love the art work. Free Breakfast was ok, the waffle maker my highlight. Really good value for money. Defintely recommend.

The guy at reception wasn’t in his best mood, I believe because he had a discussion with a previous guest. Parking is not included in the price, which is a pain, as you have to pay extra for parking in a place where parking is not a problem, very impractical.

Room was booked months ago for two adults and one child using a sofa bed. However on arriving at late on. Thursday on check in we were advised the sofa bed had not been made up for our child. Breakfast was nice but pastries and muffins could have been a bit fresher

I would like to say thank you to the lady on the desk who sorted my book out because When I got there I had looked it on line and there was no booking in my name for me but luckily there was a few rooms left.

Plenty of parking the food menu could do with being better not much choice.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was nice with a range of cooked and fresh foods including waffles, the location was convenient and plenty of parking with a petrol station near by with a few takeaway restaurants.

The fire alarm. During our stay we had the fire alarm go off after breakfast, we became anxious as it continued to sound for longer than a few seconds, we left the room and asked a member of staff and they said no test of the alarm was planned and that it was too long for a test and to leave via the stairs and not the lift. My mobility is limited and this was distressing. By the time we got to the stairs the alarm has stopped. We asked at the reception and were informed that it was a planned test and that we should have been informed at breakfast as all staff should have been aware of the test. With breakfast being several hours and the size of the seating area this seems like an ineffective way to inform guests. With fire tests being planned in advance and the size of the hotel I would have expected to have been informed at the check in, or in passing the reception. In short be sure to ask if a test of the fire alarm is due to happen during your stay so that you don't have to share our experience.
