Served our needs at the time for a last minute place to stay for a few hours overnight.
It’s very dated in the corridors and rooms
Breakfast in the pub next door was good value for money and tasted good. Bed was very comfortable with clean linen. Shower was good. Location good with quiet surroundings.
Bathroom had mould on the ceiling and generally needs refurbishing. Breakfast offering at the hotel was poor
Very good beds. Friendly staff.
Clean rooms and nice staff
Hallway / stairs carpet quote old and smelly, doesn’t give a good impression. Hotel decor is a little tired
Perfect location and nice to have the Flaming Grill next door
Booked a room with a bath and was given the disabled room. No internet in the room Staff were not too bothered about our room or the internet when questioned.
As always, Monika, the Operations Manager, was friendly and made me feel like one of the family. Excellent stay and always and perfectly placed for Chorley with a lovely pub, the Yarrow Bridge, just in front for food.
Nothing. My go to hotel
Staff really friendly, clean and organised.
There was a couple upstairs banging all night, felt sorry for the lad on reception as he had to tell them a few times to keep the noise down.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was quite comfortable.
The room smelled damp (not the fault of the cleaner) the whole room was outdated especially the bathroom. The shower didn't work properly and the toilet didn't flush very well either.
Location & staff
Wi-fi was unavailable in our room
Great location, good sized rooms, very accommodating staff, very good parking
Just getting tired now, needs a lick of paint and some TLC
The room was spotlessly clean, good size room, big bed, black out curtains, tea and coffee facilities and a hair dryer. The town centre is a couple of minutes Uber ride away costing around £5.
The bed was a little firm for me but that’s not an issue it’s just my own preference.
Not much to like about this place. It is more like a hostel than a hotel. No meals although the pub next door did have food.
The prices had been increased because of the golf - which was miles away but it seems there is a shortage of hotels. I would not stay here again. I thought the breakfast was included but it wasnt and was substandard.
Location
No working key card due to technical problems. We had to gain access to our room via a member of staff. Hand soap had run out and hair dryer was defective. Bathroom door caught on toilet seat when opening & closing.
Friendly staff
The WiFi did not work at all, instructions as to whether or not breakfast was included could have been clearer.
Immaculately clean , modern Cool comfy bed Great shower cubicle ( accessible)
Nothing
Good location, very clean, decent hotel.
Wifi not working at all. For me this is a big issue as I use it all the time to watch films on my laptop. If it doesn't work don't advertise you have it. Was told it was a regular issue and needs upgrading but a recent upgrade was cancelled.
Staff helpful n everything i needed they were glad to help
Nothing to dislike
Really clean & comfortable.
Nothing . Only comment would be to have a comfy chair in the room.
Nice room
Parking horrendois due.to.pub
Basic but priced accordingly and staff more than make up for it
Nothing
The property is situated in a quiet area, rooms are spotless all toiletries are provided breakfast is so appetising , and the staff are so friendly and welcoming
Absolutely nothing
Comfortable bed. Quiet location, on a bus route to easily get to Chorley.
Comfortable bed in a large room, good shower. A refurb is probably due but my stay was good.
Excellent accomodation for the price
A little noisy from the pub nextdoor
Location great for motorway links and public transport. Restaurant on site is a bonus.
Easy going.. clean.. stress free!
The kids drinking in the pub next door . But that happens everywhere when they have nothing else to do at the start of the school holidays!
Bed was comfortable, biscuits were nice touch, staff very friendly and helpful,
Water pressure was quite low, toilet was difficult to flush, only a small amount of toilet paper on a roll, no hot chocolate sachets, one bedside lamp didn’t work, unsure what the situation was with breakfast, confirmation said continental breakfast included, so went to the pub across
Beds comfortable and friendly staff Nice breakfast option
A little dated in the decor.
Location was good for our needs. Rooms were a decent size, beds comfortable and rooms had tea and coffee facilities. We were made to feel welcome by Mike on reception.
Room was not serviced on second day - wouldn’t have minded if they had told us it wouldn’t be serviced but soap dispensers were on the empty side and therefore didn’t get filled the next day. Not sure whether it was meant to be serviced or not?
Nice location pub next door was nice
Very tired needs updating
Honestly can’t say enough about it, our room was clean and modern, comfortable beds, coud of done with an extra pillow or 2 but super comfy regardless - the staff was so helpful and kind, I ask for a few extra things and they sorted them out no problems, really felt at home there,
Well located for my journey with the convenience of a large pub that does good next door. Facilities wise it has everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful too.
Nothing I didn’t like. It’s a good value budget travel hotel. Which is what I wanted.
Nice quiet hotel , staff are nice and helpful, free parking 🅿️
Not alot to dislike really , the odd funny smell in room sometimes but nothing too serious, and smart tvs needed
Good location. Next to pub. Pub had outdoor television screen for football. Staff kindly moved our room to the back of the hotel which was quiet.
Everything. Monika made me welcome as usual and made me feel like one of the family. Always stay there when in Chorley.
Nothing.
Comfy and pleasant
Not a lot
Great location, lovely quiet room, comfy bed, slept very well. Lovely and very friendly staff, helpful and willing to have a chat, being i was on my own. Enjoyed my stay and would recomend it to anyone.
Nothing to not like
Praktische locatie wanneer je op doorreis bent. Fijne Pub/restaurant direct naast het motel
Niets
Loved our 1st visit to the plaza and definitely will return

Nothing
Never met anyone like the person who checked me in so ended up leaving and not staying and letting booking.com deal with it.
Friendly staff, large room with clean comfortable bed, tea & coffee available in the room, free WIFI . This room was okay and met my needs for one nights stay.
The en-suite and bedroom furniture was bit tired and in need of an upgrade but still functional.
Location
Smell
Nothing
Room wasn't cleaned properly. Fan was useless in cooling room. Paintwork needs addressing. Room furniture was scratched.
Great value
Great pub next door, outside big screen to watch the football.
No breakfast available.
Location very comfortable bed and great staff
Internet could be better
The location is excellent as it only a mile from Chorley town centre. The staff are brilliant and we even have a bit of banter, as I stay there quite often. Also the Yarrow Bridge pub is just in front
Nothing. Keep it up
Great location great staff and very comfortable bed
Internet could be better
The hotel needs a complete overhaul, very dated , our room wasn't made up, We didn't leave the room until 12.30 as we were going to a wedding, but we had no clean towels and the room wasn't cleaned. Even though we left the please make up our room on the door. There was holes in the curtains, no plastic cups in the bathroom
Really good placement . Staff were lovely. Rooms spacious .
No plug sockets next to bed. And a bit dated.
Originally a Premier Inn Could do with TlC in corridors and front entrance
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Bike friendly, handily close to the canal route.
Breakfast is basic but good enough to get going.
Staff were lovely and very helpful
Breakfast were ok , location perfect for our visit.
Hotel bit dated , should have a option to book a table in the PUB as it got very busy around dinner time and we had a 1 hour wait for food.
Breakfast was nice especially the Bacon sandwich Staff very nice too
Room was was not too clean and dusty also stale smell like tobacco
Nothing
The property was completely run down. It looked absolutely nothing like the photos. It smelled damp and like urine. The bedding smelled like cigarettes. The heaters smelled like burning when you turned them on. There was urine and blood stains on the seats which smelled horrendous. We found hairs and bugs in our bed. The windows had extreme mould. Our stay was so bad we spent the first few hours looking for other hotels which were sadly all booked up. We had booked for two nights and left the keys as there was no one to speak to about the disaster we had. We had to pay for another hotel and early check in.
Comfy beds
Nothing
Good location for us friendly staff
Poor breakfast
Staff couldn't be more helpful
Have stayed here on numerous occasions. Location central to my needs. Didn’t have breakfast on this occasion, but have had it on previous stays. Very good. Staff very helpful.
Warm ,friendly ,helpful staff. 2 chairs in the room , brilliant! Good pub next door , food and nice outside area. Will definitely like to go again .
Only suggestion, nets or voiles on the windows.
Comfy bed
Bad lighting
Very friendly staff
Pleasant stay and provided what we needed. Friendly staff would stay again.
The rooms are dated though and could do with an upgrade. I couldn't shower without wetting my hair as an old-fashioned wall fixed shower head. And it was so high up and I'm not tall. These fixtures could be updated without to much expense.
This hotel is now a little faded. But goodness me the staff more than make up for a little shabbiness of decor. The rooms are very clean; beds are super comfortable; showers are really good; continental breakfast is lovely. I was unfortunately taken to hospital during my stay, and things got a bit chaotic. However, the cancellations and rebooking were no problem to them. The housekeeper very kindly packed up my suitcase and belongings and kept them safe for my return. I really cannot thank them enough. I would return in a heartbeat. People are more important than an ultra fancy decor. Many thanks to all the staff.
A handrail over the bath/shower would be good.
The location was good and fairly central for our visit. To see friends and go out for the evening
Nothing
This is a nice hotel, which we have stayed at a few times. Comfy room and bed, and our room had a continental breakfast in the price. Is next to a popular pub restaurant, which we like to eat at.
Nothing - all good
Nothing. They rang me and cancelled my booking saying they had system errors and had double booked and were now full. They then took my money saying i didn’t turn up!!! The same night I had to book in to another hotel due to this so it cost me double and The Plaza won’t refund me!!! Shocking behaviour and robing b’s!!!
Liars and thieves!
Clean, spacious, quiet room, comfy bed, good shower. Good location with a pub next door for good meals.
Didn't have breakfast.. Was very quiet had a good night's sleep
I think the bed could benefit from a new mattress
Room was clean and comfy, I had a problem with the WiFi and the staff member was helpful and sorted it out no problem

Friendly staff & good breakfast
Slightly dated
No toilet brush or face tissues are my only real gripe.
The location from where I was visiting was good. The bed was comfortable
Strong smell of chemicals as you entered the room , paid an extra £15 for breakfast which wasn’t worth it.
The staff and customer service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable.
the room was freezing cold.
Staff really nice and helpful nothing to complain about
No
Couldnt have room requested but was given a good alteenative.Had breakfast this time whuch was OK
Had to park around the back
Tidy hotel, friendly staff, pub next door great for food
Clean and great location
Nothing really
Location
Bathroom was as is, tired old premier inn barhroom
Hotel car parking was NOT FOR HOTEL RESIDENTS USE!!! There was several cars parked, when we check out, being used by everyone ie scouts groups doing. Would have caused problems if arriving that day.
Answer this above.
The staff were so helpful and the breakfast was great
Nice and clean
