I loved that it was well secure, I loved the space I had in the he room. I loved the meals as well.

The shower was small, the bed was a bit hard, but manageable.

Friendly professional staff clean cosy room

From the moment you drive in, you now its going to be special. The reception was quick and excellent. Good choice of drinks in the bar and really accommodating staff.

Unbelievable English breakfast plus they accommodated specific requests. Very comfortable bed and clean room.

We were there during a heat wave and without air conditioning it made sleeping difficult on a few nights.

Only had one breakfast and we were told it was 7-9. We went in it was empty and the staff were cleaning one staff member said breakfast finishes at 9. There was hardly anything there and the staff just kept cleaning and didn’t ask what we wanted until I asked twice. The bacon when it came was hardly cooked ( I think they were rushing). Overall not a great experience for breakfast . The evening and lunch food was lovely and the staff were great .

Just the breakfast experience . We had to use sat nav and many times taking us to a locked up farm . I would suggest explaining online that the hotel is attached to the green king restaurant or part of it and the car park is shared . We had to ask a business nearby how to get into the hotel .

Continental not too bad, no prepared fruit to go with yogurt. Location good to get around.

Where we stayed required some TLC. Shower could do with a good deep clean. Decour require in property a re fresh

The breakfast I had was excellent. The veggie breakfast was cooked very well, hot and tasty, one of the best I have had in a hotel of this rating.

The room and shower room were very clean. However, the shower tiles grouting and sealant were stained black in the lower half and back of the shower cubicle, possibly from mould there before. Needs bleaching to make white again otherwise people will think it IS mould, when it is actually very clean.

Wasn’t very clean, was showering and water stopped on one day, no bar fridge in room …shower was small, breakfast wasn’t very good.

lighting not great , low wattage energy bulbs which made it difficult to see in mirrors in the main room bathroom was great lighting

The room was prity tight, the shower left a lot to be desiered, the shampoo & body wash was on the outside of the shower, how you werev expected to use it is a mystery. It was useful to ave a fan as the weather was very warm

Poor lighting in the room, the room would benefit a bit of a make over, quite small and tired looking

Good car parking. Bar restaurant were reasonable size. Good breakfast.

No bitter even though it’s a Green King pub! Very small rooms. No soap in the en suite. Windows are latched so will not open fully, rooms were very hot! Room 9 is very noisy with road traffic.

My stay was cancelled by hotel and my fee has been refunded to Booking.com which is to be refunded by Booking.com to myself.

Pub was nice.

Shower wasn't overly big or clean. The grouting was black from the floor to about 4ft up. Double glazing not the best,could hear a lot of road noise.

Facilities in room were all you need for a short stay. Link to the Green King pub enhanced the stay. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Located next to a main road and busy junction it was quite noisy. We visited during a heatwave, whilst a fan was provided the room was very hot.

We decided to have breakfast at the hotel which was £10 each, the food was excellent and good value

The only fault was the room stunk off stale smoke!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well presented. I view my room as a little pokey - not very big. I would struggle tom use it if I was working - but for short stay to visit family in the area it is acceptable. Location is good for public transport.

Chef did not turn up before I had to go out on Sunday. Staff on duty very apologetic and offered a refund on the breakfast. (I declined - I was just disappointed and otherwise happy with what I had managed tom get for breakfast

Bed as it was very hard and had a huge dip in the right hand side could do with some new mattress’s. Tiles in bathroom could do with a grout clean just needs some tlc painting deep clean as looked neglected but the staff were fantastic

Tea and coffee in flasks at the breakfast table were not good. Coffee was terrible . Our room was so dark looking out onto an overgrown hedge. The shower was ok though rather mouldy but never used a shower where the shower gel dispenser is OUTSIDE the shower.

Location to the hospital was important. Friendly staff, good quality, fair prices. Charming environment as well.

Perfect location. Loads of parking. Very comfy room. Very peaceful. Great food and lovely pub. Breakfast was excellent. Could just do with refilling low drinks/pastries as not much choice on second morning.

Bathroom could’ve been cleaner and shower pressure poor. Bathroom bit tired. But minor things. Would be nice to have option of charging car.

Location was perfect, comfy bed and a good breakfast. Staff were friendly.

Shower door did not close properly and door to room needs some maintenance, a bit tight to close.

The very hot room, despite turning off radiator, extremely hot water pipes around skirting boards made us quite uncomfortable during the night. Not sure why they weren’t turned off or down at night.

The hotel is on the main bus route. The restaurant food was delicious and the breakfast was very good.

Everything was fine, nothing to complain about.

The mattress and pillows were very hard although the bedding and towels were clean. Some work needs to be done to repair woodwork around the bathroom door. The en-suite was very small and I had to keep the bedroom door open to use the sink.

Nothing really

Compact bed room with everything I needed very clean. Staff very friendly. Great location with a good bus route to and from Chorley town takes about six minute. Although next to a busy road, I hardly heard the traffic. Good breakfast plenty to eat. Good value stay.

Customer service is second to none. We had an evening meal, the food and service exceptional. Breakfast was the same. We travelled for a wedding and the accommodation was excellent, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend
