Service was poor but food was good. Coffee bar wasn’t well tended to. Coffee ran out & supplies ran low.

Staffing during breakfast hours wasn’t adequate. Took too long to get breakfast. Coffee bar wasn’t well stocked and coffee ran out. Not a good breakfast experience.

I was there to go to Mayo Clinic, due to so many tests I never ate breakfast.

I have no complaints, I’ll stay there again.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel was spotless. Linda at the front desk was great!. Shuttle service works well and the hotel is located very near the hospital. I will definitely come back.

The restaurant food could definitely have been better. That was my only complaint. The eggs (not sure if they were real) were pretty awful. I think a real full service restaurant would add a lot

The rooms were large and very clean. Facilities seemed new and well-maintained. I thought it was very interesting that there was workout equipment in the rooms. Never seen that before.

We had a large room and there was no chair, other than the rolling desk chair. That was the only thing that could be improved. Especially because there was plenty of room in the room for a chair.

We are staying in Sorrento for the third time. I have to say that this is truly one of the best hotels in the city. A gorgeous hotel with its own private beach, which you reach by taking an elevator several floors down. The sea is crystal clear, with almost no waves - an ideal place for swimming. The staff are excellent, especially in the restaurant and at the beach bar. Everyone is attentive and extremely friendly! The breakfasts are wonderful. Egg dishes (omelets and fried eggs) are prepared fresh for you. There is plenty of pastry, fruit, cheese and ham, making the breakfast varied and delicious. Every morning, high-quality sparkling wine is served. Breakfast is served on a beautiful white terrace overlooking the sea. The setting is so captivating that people from other hotels even come here to take photos and have breakfast. We were especially charmed by the maître d’ — a distinguished, handsome and elegant older gentleman who welcomed us every morning at breakfast. A wonderful Italian! Our room was on the second floor. It was very bright, newly renovated and elegantly decorated, with a balcony offering stunning views of the sea, the yachts and Mount Vesuvius. We sincerely thank the staff for the warm, friendly and uplifting atmosphere they created!

The bed linen was not changed for six days, until we finally had to ask for it ourselves. During the first few days of our stay, toiletries for the shower were replenished irregularly, and we also had to remind the staff about them from time to time.

The stretching/exercise tools in the room were an unexpected and welcomed surprise. All was clean and new.

Staffing was light, especially at reception. The staff there were delightful, but obviously stretched.

$20 parking in a town this size is crazy. That’s nearly as high as South Beach.

It was convenient, right next to Ronald McDonald house and st Mary’s hospital. It has shuttles as well

It's a very friendly and cheerful place with everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our needs in spite of late check in and early departure. Impressed and grateful.

Stayed at the EVEN Hotel Rochester Mayo Clinic Area and unfortunately it was one of the most frustrating hotel stays I've had in years. After a long drive, we arrived to find the drop-off area blocked and were sent to a remote parking lot several blocks away. The check-in and parking process took so long that we missed the restaurant's food service by minutes, leaving us to order DoorDash instead. The hotel offered a couple of complimentary breakfast items, but that didn't really make up for the inconvenience. The next morning, the driver who was supposed to take guests back to the parking lot wasn't available, so everyone had to walk with their luggage. Between the parking issues, lack of communication, and disappointing service, this stay fell well short of expectations. Disappointing experience overall.

I loved the Staff in particular. The people working there were so nice. Maddy and Affinity were two of the friendliest people I have met. There was "a Social" on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening: free drinks and food. This was such a kind gesture and meant an awful lot to me and I imagine the many other patrons staying in the hotel, the majority of whom, I presume, were in Rochester for health-related Mayo Clinic reasons.

I was thankful for coffee options. I couldn’t eat the omelet I ordered as it had too many fillings and was too salty. The next day I ordered a scrambled egg but because it was cooked in a ring it totally changed the texture. Also it was way more expensive than going to a restaurant 2 blocks away.

Coffee in the room is just okay

Doctor recommended I sleep in a recliner second and third night. The first 2 workers I asked said no problem but were busy at the time - which was ok as we were going out for supper. I gladly offered to pay extra for that service. When we returned, no recliner, so when we came back down to desk - the clerk came from the other hotel came over and very rudely told us that was not allowed and we needed to book a room ahead of time with a recliner. If we had known that - we sure would have done that needless to say - I attempted to sleep sitting up in the desk chair as sitting up in bed did not work. I went in for a procedure the next morning without a good night sleep and had a very upset medical team.

A great property that places great focus on providing access to workout equipment and opportunities. Our room had a dedicated stretching area with a full-length mirror, a yoga mat, blocks, and elastic band equipment (similar to TRX). Some rooms even have Peloton bikes. The common workout facility is large and offers a variety of equipment. Check-in was smooth. Staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questions. Parking is limited and shared with the Staybridge Suites. We had no problem in finding a space, and we totally appreciated the underground garage. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was cooked to order and was good. I've already booked a return visit.

I have never been here and didn’t know it existed. Lucky for me I found a room here and it was amazing price and oh so clean and quiet. The only very huge issue I found there to be was that Machelle on the Staybridge side is extremely rude woman. Enough so I do not want to return. While the young lady checked me in and was explaining things I think her name is Mandy she has the most absolutely beautiful dimples and smile. The way Machelle but in and talked to her demanding some books from her and was extremely nasty the rest of the stay with her and how degrading she spoke after the young lady walked away. She said she was working on them but would be happy to get them when done and she would not take this answer and humiliated the poor girl till she went and retrieved them. This woman should not be working with the public cause I watched her continuously do this to not only her but many other coworkers and guests included. The young lady took it in stride and smiled. But no one ever deserves that. An another guest who is a frequent stayer said she is always like this. It is sad. Please reevaluate your front end team.

We always stay at the EVEN hotel when coming for appointments at Mayo Clinic. We love thr close proximity to the hospital and the option of using the shuttle service. I enjoy the fitness room being open 24hrs so I can get my early morning workout in. The breakfast is always tasty.

Overall the staff is friendly enough, with the front desk welcoming me back each time. However, when calling the front desk from my room, it often seems like I am bothering them with my question. Also, the person running the kitchen is not very hospitable.

Discovered on Priceline for the win! Location is great underground heated parking fir 15 bucks is great. Fast check-in and leaf to a very nice room with exceptional toiletries! Drawbacks are very chilly lobby, expensive coffee and bar was out of a few things. Would and will stay again !

We met up with friends to watch their son swim and after a lovely dinner downtown we headed to the hotel ready to call it a night! We loved how easy it was to park in the parking garage and use the elevator to get to our floor! This hotel is so clean and cozy. Another highlight was the ice and water machine ( even crushed ice) on our floor! If we are in the Rochester area again we will be returning to this hotel!

What a wonderful hotel to stay at when in Rochester! It was very clean and modern! We loved it! The staff was friendly and and helpful! We were in close proximity to a lot of restaurants, which was great! We typically use the pool and fitness room when we travel and this is one of the nicest ones I've used in a while! We will definitely be staying here again when we are in town!

The entry outside front steps are starting to look “unkept” because the anti-slip tape is wearing poorly. Looks bad and should be replaced. Little things like this either make a hotel look like it’s well taken care of or not.

My check in was somewhat confusing but eventually got thru it. If you're a cancer patient be sure to have your verification letter from Mayo Clinic several days before arriving. I was waiting to hear from Hope Lodge and didn't want to book something and have to cancel and possibly get charged for a room I didn't need. Book directly with hotel, be careful sometimes you think you are booking with the hotel online but in fact you are with third party. You will not receive cancer rate if this happens cannot back date anything to correct this. But back to the hotel itself Even was very nice. Breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy, was excellent and Ms. Sharon was a delight every morning! We used the gym which was very clean and well maintained. Visited the pool area which was also very nice although we didn't have swim wear with to enjoy it. The shuttle service was on time and Shelly our driver was always in such a great mood she just made you feel good. we only rode in the mornings but I'm sure the afternoon drivers were just as good. Overall, it was a great stay.

We had a mix up on checking in and got a room someone was in. Staff corrected quickly and Merlin made it a fun experience to an error. The team could use more front desk help during peak check in times as the wait was 5 deep.

Carpeting in room needs to be cleaned, walking in my socks turned them black....not good

Mayo is renovating everywhere, everywhere is torn up all over the city. I’m sure it will be even more fabulous when completed.

Internet was good most of the time, but there was so much construction happening and there was no parking available without walking a couple of blocks away and crossing the roads under construction. The actual room and beds were great.

Great hotel, but was sold out of parking every night we were there. There was street parking and a nearby bank parking lot they can shuttle you to, but we had valuable items in our car and were not very excited to leave them outside in our car. Very nice hotel, but unfortunately complicated parking situation (other hotels in the area always had parking when I visited).

Always stay here for my mayo visits

The room was ICE cold (64), parking unavailable and the woman at the desk could care less. Other than that...... last time I will stay here. And I actually expect staff to listen and CARE. Even a little bit. I asked her why the temp was set SOO cold... don't your maintenance staff pat any attention to that? As I said she acted as though I should understand that was for a reason : "it gets so hot and humid".

Property beautiful. Service less than stellar except for Elizabeth that checked us in. The other desk clerk and the bartender made it very obvious they didn't want to be there on Saturday night.

I’ve stayed here a few times. The front desk staff are not helpful. Asked a few questions, basically their response was “do it yourself”. These were things like where a leggage carrier was. This time the construction was particularly annoying and both the coffee shop and restaurant (separately) were closed at night so the only option without a car was to walk or order in food from a delivery place, both unexpected costs when they advertise having them.

All the basics are there. Nothing special, certainly not luxurious, but comfortable enough. About a 15-minute walk to Mayo. Few stores or restaurants close by.
