Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good, not like some continental breakfast. Met an excellent employee named Tyson. He gave excellent customer service and made you feel at home. Only problem I had was there was no shuttle on the weekends. And when it was operating only limited stops, unable to utilize it for other places that I would like to visit.

The hotel staff was amazing & so kind. Ask all the questions you want. We were there for Mayo appts and the gentleman at the front desk was very informative on driving vs shuttle. Also restaurant recommendations. He even complimented other staff including housekeeping & he was right. It was such a clean hotel. The hotel is literally 5 min from Mayo.

The property was extremely clean. All the staff were welcoming and it seemed as though our comfort was their main concern. There was lots of room for eating.

I stay in Rochester 2-3 nights every week and have stayed at many different hotels. This has become my favorite place to stay. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is great as it is close to downtown, Soldiers Field and has many restaurants close by. The staff is the best thing about it. Tyson who works the overnight always has breakfast ready very early. I'm an early riser so I really appreciate that. He is super friendly and makes me feel at home when I'm there. Olandis and Mark at the front desk are very helpful. Olandis has been great with giving tips on running and hiking trails in the area. They all make me feel very welcome when I'm there and you can't ask for anything more than that. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had heart surgery at St Mary’s and my husband and I had a great experience at your hotel. The staff and cleanliness lived up to the reviews I went by to find this hotel. We arrived early and could check in. The free parking was important to me as well. The grounds were nicely manicured. Our room was very clean and the housekeeper Obdulia was very welcoming. Elena did an excellent job of keeping the breakfast area stocked and clean and wiped each table. I felt a sense of pride in the work they did. The front desk staff were also very warm and welcoming. I was impressed with the clean professional hygiene and dress as well. Distance to St Mary’s .8 and was a nice walk to my surgery. Chick Fillet was clean and close by. And a park to walk is out the door that we enjoyed.

Shuttle to Mayo was good but needs to be more on time. It was quiet in the hallways also that was a plus.

The breakfast was terrible. Juice machine out of order, you could have set out pitchers of juice. Waffle iron needs replaced, sticks even after spraying it. Beds not comfortable, Marriott needs to go above and beyond on their beds.

This hotel is super clean, has a friendly and accommodating staff and a wonderful breakfast and coffee all day. I wish all hotels were this good.

The highway noise was loud and continued all night. The entrance/exit was a bit confusing, especially in the dark.

Tyson and everyone at the hotel was super nice, caring, and was very helpful with our ever changing schedule. We were there for the Mayo Clinic and was not sure how long we’d be there. They were willing to accommodate our changing schedule and ended up staying longer than expected without any hiccups. Super helpful and nice folks.

This motel was great - the rooms were spacious, staff was friendly and helpful, transportation to/from Mayo Clinic was helpful, breakfast offered variety and was hot and ready when advertised. Housekeepers do a great job, offering service every day (which is unusual in this day and age!) We would stay here again!

Elevator maintenence?? It was squeaky and bumpy going up to our floor - I wondered if we would make it. Price was a little higher than what we paid at other hotels on our trip to Minnesota. TV didn't work, but maintenence fixed it in a timely manner.

Location, even with the construction with the new Mayo Clinic buildings, was perfect. Staff was so accommodating, housekeeping even in a blizzard made sure everyone was taken care of and Angela made sure breakfast favorites were always available! The shuttle guys are super brings and got us where all needed to be! This was our seventh extended stay of a week or longer and will always see if there is availability here first!

We’ve stayed in several places in Rochester over the last two years and this one has been a hidden gem. The staff, room and early breakfast was great. This will be our go to in the future!

It kind of sucked that the 4th floor ice machine was down, so I had to go down to the 2nd floor one to get ice, but it wasn't terrible.

The breakfast and attendant left a lot to be desired. The front desk staff was ok but overall the hotel and facilities were great.

We were told the shuttle would be on or close to the provided schedule times for the Mayo Clinic but it was only on time from the hotel once. I did not feel as though we could depend on it so we had to drive the car each time and caused us to incur valet parking fees at The Clinic. It was a bit disappointing in those regards. The breakfast offered more than expected but it did fall short in freshness. The attendant wasn't all that great either.

Shower floor somewhat slippery (no shower mat provided). Only one grab bar in shower. Need more water pressure at sink. Need more lighting at sink. Long wait to get a ready room at check in on arrival. Cuddled milk at breakfast one morning.

Breakfast was the usual eggs, sausage and breads for mains, along with some oatmeal and fruit. Solid middle of the pack in terms of quality and selection, particularly good for the value.

Gosh I think the ice machine wasn't working. But it was also 0°F outside, so... just go pack some snow?

Hotel is clean and quiet. Shuttle to Mayo is wonderful. It was decorated nicely for the holidays. The overnight manager, Tyson, is amazing. He really made us feel welcome and amazed me on our third night when he remembered my name and greeted me as we entered the hotel. 5+ Starts for Tyson.

The staff were extremely helpful and very personable! Jack and Tyson were amazing!! The hotel was very accommodating as I needed an ADA room however, one was not available, but they made sure that I had everything I needed to make it accessible for someone in a wheelchair.

When someone asks about the shuttle the Mayo Clinic they need to make sure that they don’t tell them that it’s wheelchair accessible

The facility proper is great. The room and building were very clean with everything a person might need.

We were on the 4th floor, and the noise from the nearby highway was continuous all night long. It is sad because the facility itself is great with a good price. We will look elsewhere in the future because sleep is important.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for about a month while my mom underwent heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic in August. It was a stressful and emotional time, but one of the biggest bright spots of our stay was Tyson, who worked the night shift. He consistently went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for — whether it was checking in to see if we needed anything, offering a kind word, or simply greeting us with genuine warmth every night. His professionalism and compassion truly made the hotel feel like a home away from home. Employees like Tyson are rare, and we are deeply grateful for the comfort and kindness he showed our family during such a difficult period.

Like most other Fairfield Hotels, you depend on an excellent stay, but this one rises above the top. From the time you entire the door, you find friendly staff and a clean environment. It is conveniently located to both Mayo facilities, and easy access to shopping and restaurants to the north and south. The coffee and breakfast are outstanding - with a special shout out to Tyson. His food and hospitality are evident and much appreciated! The rooms have comfortable beds, and are surprisingly pretty quiet. The only suggestion is to update and change out the light fixture over the bathroom sink to a higher/whiter type bulb, as it is yellow and quite dim. With that - 100%!

Breakfast was good, for the type of food that can be served in large quantities. The room was totally adequate.

We had a handicapped room that was simply a regular room with a raised toilet seat (a plstic insert that screws onto the regular seat. This worked but was not ideal. The shower needed a couple more grab bars. Everything else was good.

We had an awesome stay! The gathering area in the lobby, water container available at the front desk, fruit ++ at breakfast, top notch staff, clean rooms, nice towels, and more made this hotel well above others we have stayed at. Well worth the few extra $$ to stay here.

I love how clean and updated the place is. Breakfast was delicious; staff was friendly and polite! First time in a suite (309) and I LOVED the big shower, and extra “room” for the extra sitting space. A suite is definitely the way I’ll stay in the future!

We’ve stayed several times and have always had a phenomenal experience. Sadly I gotta say that the bed in my room (309) was quite hard and I could not get comfortable either night.

Breakfast had lots of choices to accommodate different desires. Coffee was good and hot. Clean breakfast area and attentive staff refilling things promptly.

Even the plantings were nicely done. The lay-out of the lobby and dining area is very welcoming and conducive to people sitting and chatting Allows staff and residents to communicate easily.

This hotel was hands down one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at! The entire staff (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast staff) were all kind and welcoming. I’ve learned from past experiences to check the most recent reviews when it comes to finding a hotel. For me, the most important one is the cleanliness.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, but the customer service was very disappointing. On Saturday, the toilet in my room got clogged, and when I called for help, I was told I had to go down to pick up the plunger and towels myself because this wasn’t a luxury or five-star hotel. The plunger I was handed was dirty and had waste residue on it — absolutely disgusting. I was also told that only one person was in charge of the entire hotel, which seems like very poor planning. This attitude ruined what had been a pleasant stay until then. I truly hope management takes action.

This is a great hotel and is actually our 4th visit. Very clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly, but we have to call out Ty who is exceptional and one of the reasons we keep coming back to stay here. You know when he is on duty, things will be in tip top shape, and he goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you need.

Fine stay at the Fairfield. Tucked in right next to the highway but no concern with Highway noise. Small little hotel with nice staff and good breakfast area. Parking is tight but manageable. Nice little park nearby and easy drive downtown.

Two top things for me is a clean and quiet room. The room was very clean and mostly quiet on a Monday night. Some thumping sounds , sound of other guests using water and hall noise like doors. It wasn't bad but not sure how it would be when full. I was on second floor at end of hall far from elevator and I e machine and side away from highway

Room was spacious and clean. The pool was warm and well kept.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus to Mayo was on time and driver was courteous. I would definitely stay there again.

We booked this stay well in advance of a family event. We had a conflict and attempted to change our stay to a couple of different dates. The app would not allow it nor would the hotel help us.

Stellar experience! Fairfield does not miss a detail! The staff, Jack, Jordan, Ty, are INCREDIBLE! They are genuine in in their offers of help. The rooms are comfy, Immaculate, upgraded bath products, Breakfast is spectacular! There are msny hot and cold options all delicious and fresh. Coffee and Tea are available 24 hrs. The shuttle service to Mayo is a big time and cost savings - no need to pay parking at the hospital. Business center. Indoor pool that is very clean. Nice gym with adequate equipment. Olive Garden Restaurant is walkable. Awesome place!!
