Cleaning, very helpful at front desk. Parking easy than ramps
Breakfast could use few more options
The rooms were very clean the breakfast was very good with lots of options staff was very friendly
We couldn't connect to wifi
Clean and decent location. Free underground parking.
Always a ton of kids (including mine) for sports tournaments etc. I think the staff should get a handle on the very loud hallways after quiet hours.
Nothing
The property location was excellent, within walking distance to restaurants and the outdoor seating was wonderful.
The guy that was up front that we checked into was amazing and had great service
Pillows, there was 3 and one was all bunched up and old.
The gentleman on the night staff was fantastic! Large clean room and above average hotel breakfast.
Comfortable bed and pillows
Pleasant staff, clean room and good breakfast.
The mattress on the bed needs to be softer.
Great breakfast, free bottled water, very nice place
Nothing bad to report
Very clean with excellent amenities
The bed was uncomfortable
Breakfast was good. Location was great.
Night staff did not want to be disturbed. We needed extra blankets and the clerk told my sister that she was on break. I thought that was in very poor taste.
The location was in the center of everywhere we wanted to go.

Good breakfast, nice location, had everything I could ask for in a hotel.
Had everything we needed nice place.
We stayed at Home2 Suites for a week and we had an excellent experience at this hotel. The energy was great from the moment we walked in the doors. Troy, Sydney and the entire staff were AMAZING!!! They were always anxious to help and they never acted bothered with any of our needs or request. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was great and well stocked and the breakfast attendant and housekeepers were so friendly and accommodating. It has been a long time since I have experienced this type of exceptional service. I highly recommend this Home 2 Suites. Thank you so much to the staff.
Great breakfast options! Able to walk to nearby restaurants and shops/mall. The free shuttle was so helpful!
Nothing. The place met our needs.
I booked the reservation at this hotel. I digitally checked in, but I checked into another hotel. They were quite nice and worked with me on this journey. Period they are a very good hotel chain. I will stay again if I ever have to come out this way.
I was pleased with the value and service. I asked for quite a bit of help at the beginning of our stay and every request was met with assistance.
I utilized the gas grill and it could use a little attention. One grill wasn’t working, but the other grill was and everything worked out well. It was a good experience that I have never done before at a hotel.
Very clean and well equipped
The bed was a bit too firm for my liking
You guys were all so great. Tim, the shuttle driver was the best. My friend had surgery and we accidentally left our bag on the back of the wheel chair. He went all the way back and brought it back to us at the hotel. He is definitely an asset to your establishment. Thank you for a great experience and for employing a great guy! 🙂
My first time staying at the Home 2; though I come to Rochester at least annually. Very nice hotel; the staff was extremely friendly especially Liz (General Manager), Lena and Sunday at the front desk. It is summer, but was only about 75 degrees as a high; so I enjoyed the location adjacent to a wonderful walking path along the Zumbro River. (Had a nice encounter about 10 feet from a young buck in velvet right on the trail! Also saw ducks, a family of Turkey Birds, and a family of Canadian Geese with 13 "teenages"). Back to the hotel: Room was comfortable; breakfast was really good. I had not stayed at a Home 2 recently, and breakfast is make your own breakfast sandwiches - choices of bread/biscuits, turkey, pork, canadian bacon, and chicken tenders for proteins, egg pucks and nice potato wedges. I used the laundry facilities (Bring quarters, or ask the desk.). I will return.
The room was more of a suite than I expected with a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and dishes. It was clean and I have extremely bad allergies and asthma, and they cleaned the carpet before my arrival to ensure I wouldn't have breathing issues due to pet dander. I was also extremely pleased with the shuttle driver and availability of the shuttle.
Nothing. It was very nice for the price!
Easy access
None
Breakfast location was okay. Breakfast itself was good.
Nothing. I have diet restrictions, so I couldn’t enjoy the variety menu.
Tim (AM) was our shuttle driver and he was great! Good at his job! Went out of his way to care for people and to try to get them where ever they needed to go. Thanks Tim
The staff at this hotel go above and beyond! The front desk staff, breakfast staff, and housekeeping are always friendly and helpful. Special thanks to “AM Tim”! He is the morning shuttle driver. Tim is helpful and courteous. His dad jokes help the mood on the way to medical appointments. Thanks for all the care!
Room was huge and very clean
Nothing - everything was great
Nice location

It was clean. Troy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. My room was great! I loved the wallpaper.
Wonderful hotel for a women's bike trip. Super clean. Great hot tub and pool. Adjacent to a lovely bike trail. We were able to take our bicycles into our room for safety. Free underground parking worked well. Helpful staff in every way. We enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pit with comfortable seating. Walk in showers were perfect.
This is going to be a long review because I want to give potential guests an accurate and thorough account of my experience at Home2 Suites, Rochester, Mayo Clinic Area. Here goes: I spent 3 days at this hotel with friends who brought me to Rochester so I could receive care at Mayo Clinic. We had suites with two queen beds. Each suite was spacious and bright. It had dishes, cutlery, a full sized refrigerator, microwave, and even a dishwasher. The shower was a decent size, with bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner mounted on the wall, eliminating the need to bring your own. The beds were comfortable and bedding was fresh, spotless, and ample, with 3 pillows on each bed. The sitting area was fine, and furniture was not faded or worn. There was plenty of storage space. One large TV on a swivel base served both the sitting and sleeping area. A curtain could be drawn to separate the areas. The suite had a thermostat, making it easy to control room temperature. There were 2 sets of blinds, one to let the light in, and one for complete privacy. The doors were very heavy and a bit hard to hold open, but this must have contributed to the soundproofing. We never heard sounds from other guests when we were in our rooms. Everything at the hotel was spotless. We didn't use the pool or exercise room, so I can't comment on them. We did have breakfast, which was part of our reservation package. There was a waffle maker, along with self-serve precooked food that varied day to day. The breakfast offered item like eggs, sausage, French toast, biscuits, yogurt, etc. There were several kinds of juice, plus milk and coffee. My friends and I felt the breakfast was typical of many hotels, some hotels may be better and some worse. Some snacks and beverages were available to purchase at the front desk. The bottled water was complimentary. The staff at the front desk were all pleasant and helpful. I didn't use the computers in the lobby, but there were several available. In the front of the hotel was an attractive seating area with a fire pit that was kept lit, and cushioned seats. We enjoyed this. There were several steps up to the hotel from the parking lot, and also a ramp walkway. A Panera Bread restaurant was just across the parking lot. For me, of special note, is the hotel shuttle which took me to and from Mayo Clinic. My driver, Tim on the AM shift ( he goes by "AM Tim", as there is another Tim on the PM shift, whom I did not meet) was fantastic. He had a great sense of humor and was so kind. Without my asking, he offered to help me get in and out of the van, made sure I was steady on my feet, and assisted me to get to the information desk so I could get directions to where I needed to go for my appointments at Mayo. He was just as helpful when he picked me up and made sure I didn't need the shuttle to take me anywhere else. Another woman discovered she had gotten on the wrong shuttle and he very kindly told her not to worry and took her to her nearby hotel. If you come to the hotel because you have appointments at Mayo, I recommend taking the shuttle as it's much easier to be driven than to try to navigate to Mayo yourself, especially with all the construction going on in the area. I have to return to Mayo Clinic in a few months and will definitely be making reservations again at this hotel. It was so much better than I might have expected. I have become a Hilton Honors member, which I easily did over the phone, and it saved me money on my reservation. It was free. There are other benefits I haven't used yet and I don't know much about them.
Tim (AM) the hotel shuttle driver was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, helped with bags, and made transportation stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone who truly enjoys taking care of guests, and it showed in every interaction. Thank you for making my stay even better — you are a huge asset to this hotel!
AM Tim was awesome and gave us many great reviews of restaurants and great conversations on our trips to and from Mayo campus. Thanks for making our visit easier.
I am a patient at MAYO clinic. Friends of ours who have been going to MAYO for 30 years recommended Home2 suites. We were and are, impressed with the modern facility, the cleanliness, the amazing breakfast, and the professionalism of the whole staff. When I was really sick, both of the Tim's that do the Shuttle driving made me feel safe and at home. They also genuinely care about the people they transport. They do an excellent driving job and bend over backwards to accommodate passengers. We have recommended the MAYO clinic to several people and your facility is also recommended as a great place to stay. We rented an apartment close to the clinic for seven weeks, and the last night before my final treatment, we stayed at Home2suites just like we did for the first nine weeks of chemo treatment. When we arrived, my wife said, "I am so glad to be back here, it feels like home."
Excellent staff, friendly and welcoming
I have stayed at Home 2 Suites multiple times when I come to Rochester for car at Mayo. Honestly, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Everyone that works here could not be more helpful, knowledgeable or friendly. The shuttle driver in the am, Tim, is wonderful and remembers names and what we are there for. He knows everything about Rochester and Mayo, and has great recommendations about places to eat and visit.
We have stayed at this property numerous times and I don’t typically review but I wanted to give a shout out to Jasmyn who was so kind to two people who had spent the night out running storms. Just having a smile, willingness to work with us in check in. We so appreciated her! Thank you Jasmyn!
Our stay was excellent! My daughter had surgery at the Mayo Clinic, and we stayed from March 16–19. The hotel was clean, beautiful, and very welcoming, with spacious, comfortable rooms that made a stressful time much easier. The kitchen doesn’t include a cooktop, but it was still very functional with a microwave and dishwasher. We also appreciated the good coffee, underground parking, and indoor pool. The location is perfect—close to stores and with a convenient shuttle to the Mayo Clinic. We would definitely stay here again!
Amenities were perfect for our family of five. Room, front lobby, workout room and pool/hot tub area were clean and space was convenient to use. Appreciate the free water bottles, green apples, coffee, tea, etc
The staff are so friendly and welcoming and helpful! Additionally, the hotel is clean and comfortable.
Great location and amenities!
Great Location, rooms were very clean and comfortable, staff was also attentive and so nice! Breakfast really surprised me in a really good way. Quiet hotel so that's a plus! Overall it was a really nice stay!
This hotel was excellent! The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the shuttle service to and from Mayo Clinic was fantastic. The two Tim’s who drove the shuttle were very helpful and great tour guides. We definitely will be staying here again on our next visit.
Comfy. Good location. Huge room.
Very slippery shower. Dirty carpet.
Nice size room. Quiet
Everything. The breakfast was amazing. The room was spotless and the room was so comfortable.
The hot tub had a bit too much chlorine and was a tad strong for us. But overall the temp was perfect and the area was great. Just a little strong for us to be in there for more than 5 minutes.
This is one of the best Home2s I've ever stayed in. I traveled here with my dogs, and the hotel is very pet-friendly.
Good breakfast selection.
Careless staff gave us room key to an occupied room. That lack of security was exceedingly scary but just brushed off as “mistakes happen”.
I stayed here during medical treatment, and it made a stressful time much easier. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. All of the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating.
Breakfast was delicious and clean pool and rooms
Did ran put of food if not there earlier
Clean rooms and lobby. Mostly friendly staff. Smallish but nice clean salt water pool and hot tub.
Breakfast was limited and unenticing. The double queen bed room was equipped for cooking but had only one office chair
We checked in Saturday, February 1st, for what was scheduled to be a six-night stay, checking out the following Saturday. This reservation was made through the hotel’s partnership program with Edison Healthcare — a program specifically designed to support patients traveling to Rochester for Mayo Clinic surgeries and medical care. This hotel advertises itself heavily as a Mayo Clinic supporter and recovery-friendly environment, which made our experience especially concerning. Upon initial check-in, we were given a room that was clearly not cleaned. The kitchen countertops were covered in food residue, cheese, smear marks, and sticky buildup. The bathroom floor still had blood present. Additionally, there was visible blood on the exterior door of room 215 in the hallway, which we reported to the front desk on the day we checked in. We immediately notified the front desk about the condition of our room. We were told staff would come up and clean it, which they attempted to do. After leaving for approximately two hours, we returned to find that while some surface cleaning had been done, the bed had been remade with dirty sheets. Photos clearly show excessive dog hair, false eyelashes, and other debris consistent with a previously slept-in bed. This was not caught during their re-check or re-clean. Due to this, we were moved from room 211 to room 203. While the second room appeared visually clean, it had zero hot water. The water remained ice cold for the entirety of our stay in that room. When we notified the front desk, we were met with excuses that no one else had reported issues and that maintenance would “look into it.” We left for approximately four hours and returned to find no resolution. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, we flagged maintenance ourselves. Maintenance informed us that the hotel had experienced a pipe burst on Friday (two days before our check-in), repairs were completed, but no one ever confirmed that the hot water was turned back on. The hot water valve had remained closed from Friday through Monday. Given the conditions and lack of urgency, we elected to check out early. During checkout, we again raised concerns about the blood on the hallway door outside room 215. At that time, we were told that the desk agent and head of housekeeping had walked the halls and “could not find it,” despite it being visible when we reported it on both the day of check-in and the morning of checkout. The checkout process itself was also extremely frustrating. The clerk advised we would be charged for the second night because we checked out approximately 30 minutes past cutoff time, despite the circumstances. We were unable to receive a receipt or checkout documentation and were told we would need to return to the property the following day. To make matters worse, we notified the hotel that a toiletry bag containing extremely important medications was missing. We were still local in town through Saturday the 7th. The hotel did not locate or contact us about the bag until Monday the 9th. This was one of the most stressful and unacceptable hotel experiences we have ever had especially for a property that markets itself as a safe, clean, and supportive environment for medical patients recovering from Mayo Clinic care. This stay was the opposite of healing.
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Nice and spacious rooms with underground parking
It was excellent
Nothing
Staff was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Room was gorgeous!!!
Nothing! Everything exceeded expectations!
Clean/shuttle
Nothing
Room was very comfortable
Very noisy with a baseball tournament and unruly boys in the pool…unsupervised. Staff tried to help but parents didn’t seem to listen or care that their kids were screaming constantly in the pool area.
Room was great! Bottled water and fresh fruit were provided free of charge to guest Beds were comfortable slept like a baby!
No complaints
LOVED the view from room 424 .
When we went down to breakfast something smelt burnt
We have always had a great experience at the Home2Suites in Rochester! I am a volleyball club director and have several teams staying at various times throughout the year. The sales staff, front desk staff, and cleaning staff are all top notch. They accommodate our team meals and provide us with a place where we can come back after long tournament days (full of tournament food) and cook nutritious food to help fuel our athletes. We will continue to stay at the Home2Suties for our many trips to Rochester throughout our season.
Clean and modern rooms!
Didn't have breakfast but the buffet looked appetizing.
Nice hotel, for it being a place for people who are sick and go to the Mayo clinic. It was loud, doors slamming, I'm assuming it was kids running up and down the halls. Didn't get much rest. But is a nice hotel, very friendly staff. Even gave me puke bags for my daughter for our 11 hour ride back to Michigan, close to Mayo, loved that they had transportation to the clinic.
Close to the Hospital, there for we were there for hospital purposes.. and if I would have known my son didn’t receive the hospital rate due to booking through a third party (booking.com) I will never book with yous again, my next reservation I’m calling the facility through the phone.
Everything was great, when asked for a towel we were offered a whole bag, instead of usual hotels that only offer on or two extra towels.. great job Hilton.
The value of our stay was amazing, the pool was an amazing hit and the team went above and beyond the entire stay. If you have a special need definitely check it out
Location was good. Relatively close to Mayo
Bed was awful. Terribly uncomfortable
Pool and spa. Underground parking. Huge room.
Breakfast could be better, but not bad for the price at all
