I like the location and facilities.

I felt the beds were too big for the room size. The breakfast was decent with limited food choices but for the price was very decent, however the food was kept warm using hot water and the food was cold usually instead of hot.

Our stay was great! It is right next to the train station but you don't hear the bouse from the train which is great as I'm a light sleeper. The staff are incredible. The facilities are great- onsen, gym and they have floors to do washing (wash dryer), iron, pillows, get ice etc.

The king bed are two twin beds together

The location was perfect with quick acces to Kyoto station.

My double room on the second floor had frosted windows so I could not look outside. Not a deal breaker, but I like looking outside in the morning.

La habitacion un 10, la ducha perfecta, la habitacion muy amplia y comoda. Ubicacion perfecta, justo al lado del tren y autobus.

Clean hotel with pyjamas provided. Free water and coffee in hotel lobby. It was directly across from the train station and a 7-11 and supermarket just a few minutes walk away.

The location was accessible by bus/train but a bit of a walk from city centre.

Questo hotel è stato veramente una coccola durante il viaggio. Comodo da raggiungere con il treno dalla stazione di Osaka, si trova vicino a una stazione della metro che ti collega con le principali zone di Kyoto. L'albergo non è vicino al centro, quindi bisogna considerare che per muoversi si usa spesso l'autobus o la metro. Vicino all'hotel ci sono comunque molti luoghi interessanti da vedere e ottimi ristoranti per mangiare. Non abbiamo usufruito della colazione a pagamento, ma avevamo comunque a disposizione acqua e bevande calde senza limitazioni. il check in e il check out sono automatici con la macchinetta, ma c'è sempre a disposizione un addetto in caso serva aiuto. La camera era più grande di quanto ci aspettassimo, molto bella. Non abbiamo utilizzato l'onsen, ma era disponibile.

Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut und gut mit ÖV angeschlossen. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt.

Die Trockner trocknen die Wäsche nicht wirklich und die Wäsche muss nachher noch im Zimmer aufgehängt werden.

Pulizia degli ambienti ottima, e in generale l'atmosfera moderna è molto piacevole. Lo staff è disponibile ed è molto comodo avere la stazione così vicina.

La musica negli spazi comuni è davvero alta. Un cestino della spazzatura negli spazi comuni sarebbe apprezzato.

夜中に行ったのも良くはなかったのですが、アニメティのスキンケア用品を貰いに行った時の対応が印象が悪く感じました。 梅小路の対応がよく再度利用しましたが場所により差があるように感じました。

La camera era ampia, ottima la colazione e la posizione. Un bell’hotel, accogliente, bella la spa e il servizio bibite free.

Abbiamo prenotato 5 notti, l’ultima dovevamo partire presto. Nessuna flessibilità per la colazione già pagata. Nel mondo quando hai distrazioni del genere ti preparano quella take away, qui non ci hanno neanche permesso di portar via un caffè e una mini brioche quando mancavano 10’ all’apertura della colazione.

Everything about our stay was great! The hotel is full of thoughtful little touches and complimentary goodies, such as face masks and other amenities, which made the experience feel extra special. Breakfast was really good, the location was excellent, and the staff were always incredibly polite and welcoming.

Nothing negative to mention — I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Kyoto! 😊

Hotel je hezký a na pěkném místě, naproti stanici metra, vlaku i autobusů a v docházkové vzdálenosti od krásného hradu Nijo.

Trochu nás zklamaly snídaně, byly zaměřené na západní klientelu, zejména Italy. I obědové menu byly především špagety a pizza. Málo japonské kuchyně, úplně chyběla miso polévka.

The hotel is easily accessible with public transport, very clean and a good room size and bathroom. The air-con was slightly loud during the night but everything else was great.

The price, appearance, cleanliness, location, amenities, and everything is top notch, would recommend.

Ich war schon das zweite Mal dort abgestiegen und wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist zwar nicht zentral (Nijo), dafür etwas abseits von Trubel und Hektik. Relativ große, sehr saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal und ein gutes Frühstück runden den Aufenthalt ab. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Nos encantó la habitación: era amplia, moderna, muy limpia y mucho más cómoda de lo que esperábamos. Se nota que el hotel está bien cuidado y que las instalaciones son bastante nuevas. Además, está justo delante de la estación.

Lo único que nos pareció un poco decepcionante fue que, después del checkout, no nos permitieran quedarnos un rato en el hall del hotel mientras esperábamos. Entendemos perfectamente que la habitación tenga que quedar libre a una hora determinada, pero nos habría gustado poder esperar allí cómodamente unos minutos. Por lo demás, tuvimos una estancia estupenda y nos pareció uno de los hoteles más completos de nuestro viaje.

Spacious room, free coffee machine, gym was small but fine. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We liked the location being close to the station and near to nice bakeries and local cafes.

Perhaps more washing machines as it was sometimes tricky to get ones that were available.

The hotel is clean and conveniently located, with plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. I also really appreciated the laundry and ironing facilities. These thoughtful amenities made our stay very convenient and comfortable.

The hotel is a self-service hotel. Our room has a sofa bed and is advertised as being suitable for three people. However, when we asked the front desk to prepare the sofa bed for our child, we were told that there would be an additional charge. I found this quite disappointing, especially since the room can accommodate three people and we had already booked it for our family. I think preparing the sofa bed for the third guest should be included in the room price rather than charged extra. The accommodation tax is not charged based on the number of guests, but according to the size of the room. Since our room was larger than other rooms, we had to pay a higher tax. I found this a little unfair and unexpected.

The only critique which is very much Japan based is the room could have been slightly too small if I was with a partner. I was solo so it was completely fine.

Good location near to Nijo station, some shops and restaurants nearby. Other stations that go to the center for example (Omiya) are quite far.

The location is a bit noisy. The breakfast is quite limited. Rooms are ok, quite basic but you have all you need. We wanted to extend our stay and the calculation for the 2 days was more expensive than for 6 days before that - found this strange for existing customers.

The foyer, bar and restaurant area are great with good breakfast and affordable lunch options. Also a table tennis! Rooms were nice and big and location is really close to the station and Nijo-jo Castle. Really good value for money.

夜中の入館がタッチセンサーでタッチ場所がちょっとスタイリッシュ過ぎて分かりにくいし、一瞬あ！やべ入れないと焦った エレベーターも同様に部屋に行く際階を押しても行きません で、焦り降りて良く見たらカードキーを当てないと行けない。 もう少し分かりやすい説明とう受付、もしくは、見えやすい場所に記載して貰えると更に快適になりそうですね。

The property was located within a quieter part of town but not too far from the shopping, eating and sightseeing. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed was large. Breakfast was decent quality as well

One small complaint was that the bed was too firm. It’s not a big problem, but if you have back issues the bed can feel a bit stiff. Would be a perfect 10/10 experience otherwise.

There’s a lot to like about this property. It’s modern, clean, with large comfortable rooms and it’s very close to Nijo JR and subways station, as well as buses, which will take you pretty much all the places you’ll want to go in Kyoto. Yet the area itself is a bit more chilled than downtown Kyoto, with some really good local restaurants, bakeries, coffee places and shops nearby as well as a cinema complex with chains such as KFC and Starbucks for those who like that sort of thing. I’d recommend Lion Bakery, just around the corner of the hotel for breakfast- it’s affordable and delicious. The staff we met were all friendly and polite and there is a decent public bath- not as good as some we visited but ok- which is nice to relax in at the end of the day. The hotel was very good value for money compared to others of a similar standard available during our time in Kyoto.

This is another Japanese hotel at risk of allowing a “concept” to get in the way of basic hospitality principles. The day we arrived was incredibly hot and humid, we were tired, sweaty, we had children with us and were carrying backpacks. But when we went to the “check in” desk we were told we had to use a self check-in machine and were not allowed to check in at the desk. The check in machine then proceeds to ask you to fill in lots of information you already provided when you booked and scan a passport for each guest. It’s reasonably easy to use but typing a British address on a form designed for Japanese address formats, on a not particularly responsive touch screen, whilst wearing a backpack and looking after kids isn’t a great experience. A staff member appeared to be coming to help, instead he gave us a drink as part of a promotion and promptly disappeared. You also have to get your amenities from reception and take them to your room. Some are in a grab area, others are behind the reception desk- such as water bottles. You can’t get coffee to take to your room and there is none in the room. Free coffee is in reception, but personally when I wake up in the morning I want to make coffee in my room, not to have to get dressed, go to reception and come back to my room. The baths also don’t have things like combs, cotton buds, razors, or lotion for after your bath. But you have to wear your “pyjamas” (Katana) to the baths, which you aren’t allowed to wear in reception to collect some amenities- which are all there instead. Our room had a frosted window with no view. The a/c in our room only worked properly some of the time. Occasionally there was no hot water.

Location, food and staff were great. Good service and good value.

Posizione ottima, a 2 passi dalla fermata dell’autobus nijo station (noi per Kyoto ci siamo mossi solo con autobus) 7eleven sotto l’hotel quindi direi pazzesco.

The hotel was great, aligned to out expectations. Good location - 2 blocks from Nijo castle and in front of a JR station. Rooms were clean and Comfort, but small - also aligned to japan’s patterns of Hotels.

Gym was quite small and breakfast was simple.

We had a really nice stay here! We would come back to this hotel for sure when we are traveling to Kyoto. The room and hotel had everything. The onsen in the hotel was the cherry on the cake! Close to the train and subway station.
