Scandic Grand Central Helsinki

Pidimme hotellista todella paljon.

Very centrally located

No good BF for Indian vegetarian

Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen. Huone oli todella siisti. Ulkoa ei kuulunut mitään melua.

Negatiivisia kokemuksia ei ollut.

breakfast was good

MY room got double charged by booking.com and the hotel. Hotel promised to cancel and return to my credit card. 10 days later still have not received the money. Not acceptable

Personell at the reception was helpful, I appreciate.

I messed the water heater for tea or coffee in the room, also complimentary bottle of water would be welcome.

Excellent room size and fantastic amenities

Room snacks are charged out more than purchase from reception

Excellent location

Erittäin hyvä ja monipuolinen.

Jono aamupalalle

The location was very central. We are staying in the original part of the hotel.

No tea or coffee making facilities

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. One of the special things about my room was the lovely view of the railway tracks and the park. Despite the location, the room was surprisingly quiet, with no noise disturbance at all, so I had a very peaceful and restful sleep. The bathroom was beautiful and spotless, and I really enjoyed the peaceful and lush garden around the hotel. The staff were also wonderful, very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and they gave us great recommendations. I was truly impressed with every aspect of our stay.

Honestly, I didn’t find anything I disliked. Everything was wonderful and exceeded my expectations.

The central location; the stylishness; the breakfast buffet;the comfort

Absolutely no faults

Hautajaisreissulaisille mainio sijainti. Hyvä aamiainen.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and as we needed a late checkout it was no problem and the 40 euro charge was excessive but understood why

Nothing stood out

Styl a koncept hotelu. V našem případě tichý pokoj.

Uvítal bych bezdrátové propojení s audiem pro stream hudby.

Thank you!

Hyvä asiakaspalvelu ja todella siistit huoneet.

Breakfast fantastic. Very good spread. Sauna excellent. Location exceptional.

Prima centrale locatie. Goede voorzieningen. Vriendelijk personeel.

De trap bij de hoofdentree.

Great location. Excellent breakfast. Lovely room.

The electronic check-in system didn't work for us, despite the assistance of a member of staff. Consequently, we had to go to another member of staff for a more traditional check-in.

Architektonisch u historisch außergewöhnliches Hotel, wirklich sehenswert.

Sijainti erinomainen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Kaunis huone

The location was excellent . Very close to everything. No need to take a taxi.

The room was too hot. I wake up in the middle of the night sweating.

Bed comfortable. Excellent shower. Good ceiling height. Good bathroom lighting.

No doorman. Lug your suitcase. No railing on inside steps. Restaurant menu limited and overpriced. Interior confusing, complicated to get to room.

Fint fräscht rum i nya delen.

Helsinki is a beautiful city and it worsted a lot beiing visited for 3 days. The hotel is modern, beautiful architecture, rooms, coridors, you don't feel that you are next to the train station. The area is clean, you are in the city center. Our room had a very nice view over the piazza, the breakfast in exceptionel.

Nothing to dislike

Great location! Superb breakfast! Beautiful art deco building. Friendly staff.

Excellent room. Food at breakfast was high quality and to a good standard. Great central location. A great hotel with character

Room was quite bland and grey and windows could not be used as they were looking into the inside atrium. Curtains had to be kept closed.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Lovely green courtyard with planting in center of the hotel.

Nothing.

Centralt och fint

Långsam manuell incheckning av personalen

Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The restaurant was large enough to accomodate lots of guests. The location was perfect, next door to Helsinki Central train station and on the edge of the shopping district. Close enough to walk to the harbour and the ferries as well.

We stayed on a premium Saturday night, so it was expensive by comparison to other hotels during the week.

excellent location. very nice toom

first room we were given had a very bad smell. we contacted reception and they moved us immediately and upgraded us. Breakfast was not worth money.

Location was great, room was large

Shower: There was a clog/drainage issue in the shower, which made taking a shower quite uncomfortable. Beds: We booked a King bed, but instead got two single mattresses pushed together, which kept sliding apart. Air Conditioning: The AC was very weak and took a long time to cool down the room. Pillows: The pillows were uncomfortable and lacked good support.

Location was perfect could not fault the hotel.

Nothing.

- very central location, ideal location - beautiful historical building with amazing architecture - exceptional breakfast with a large choice - modern design of the room and of the bathroom - good working wifi - small gym but well equiped - good sauna - k supermarket buffet very close, which makes a good possibility to buy dinner or lunch ; another tip for affordable meal nearby : Oodi library which has a nice affordable buffet for lunch

It was perfect

El disseny, l'ubicació, el personal i l'esmorzar

On lounasaika!Poistukaa, poistukaa!

Beautiful & close to train station

None

Convenient, Hospitable, Clean

Nice hotel, very convenient location, right beside the train station, staff was helpful, lot of varieties for breakfast

The room is a little bit small, and the hotel is very big, we walked long until our room
