The open Bathroom close to the Bed isn’t really a good place. The Amenities for a suite isn’t worth the price. We ordered breakfast in to the Room, we was waiting for one and half hour, then we had to rush for check out. Exactly by 11am the Housekeeping wanted to enter the room!

Yhe staff gave us the the riom below whatvwe have paid for and tried to convince us that all rooms are the same and the ones we saw on pictures when we were choosing were fully booked but when we insisted and fighting for the correct room he told us to sleep 1 night and move the next day we refused and wanted tobtalk to the managerer than the change the room to the ine we paid for but after a long fight

I spent 3nights and not refunded for the fourth day I didn’t spend and no one said anything about my refund 🥹

breakfast was average. not enough glasses for water. the juice was horrible. the cakes were stale. the fruit was not fresh. the cappuccino we paid for was horrible.

Loved the view from the room, overlooking Umhlanga, Oceans Mall, and the ocean. The bathroom was stunning too, with an ocean view from the tub. Everything was spotless with a fresh, welcoming scent throughout, and the staff were warm and friendly.

On two mornings, we were asked to pay for breakfast even though it was included in our room booking. We understood the first instance as an oversight, but for the same mistake to happen again the next day was disappointing. It would also have been a nice touch to have a smart TV in the room.

Great location, amazing views !

We ordered in-room dining at 21.20 . They delivered the food and we noticed that the fried chips was missing. We told the lady who delivered it and she said she would bring it . She never came back nor did they inform us of what happened to our chips. No help with luggage .. No place to hang hand towel

One of the noiseist hotels I've ever stayed in. Rooms that face the road feel like you livign on a race track - all the locals think it's a race way to try show off their ultra loud exhaust pipes in. Aircon in the room tried to be as noisy as the cars outside and did not work properly.

The room was not sea-facing it was facing the streets. Not a big downside but would have been nice to have a sea-facing room as we’ve stayed at the opposite hotel before and we booked here hoping for a sea-facing room.

A breakfast table was allocated to us, and we ordered coffee while enjoying a cheese plate. As we waited for our omelettes to be prepared, our table was cleared without our knowledge, including our room key card, and other guests were seated there. No one could explain why our table had been cleared. I was extremely concerned because our room number was written on the key card, and all of our valuables were in the room. After quite some time, the key card was eventually returned to us, but no explanation was provided regarding what had happened. The staff appeared indifferent throughout the incident, giving the impression that this may not have been an isolated occurrence. This experience was both stressful and disappointing and fell well below the standard of service we expected.

The Wi-fi was very poor I was unable to connect to my laptop. Furniture is damaged (The study desk?) I had dinner and the lamb shank was not good, It tasted as if it was an old lamb shank that was just heated up.

Le comfort de la chambre et la proximité du Gateway. La restauration pendant la conference.

Très bon niveau de la qualité et le confort de l'hôtel, mais le service au diner était tous sauf notre attente d'un hôtel de tel niveau. On était un groupe d'amis arrivée un peu tard vers 21h15 et directement de l'aéroport. Les commandes étaient mélangées des autres tables et certains items commandes ne sont jamais arrivée. Service très long. A 22h00, on comprend que le restaurant doit fermer mais on nous a refusé des desserts tels que des tiramisus qui sont normalement déjà prêt à servir. Ça ne prendrait même pas 5 minutes pour servir. Mais en revanche ils ont pris plus de temps pour présenter la facture. On aurait pu manger nos desserts entre temps ou meme prendre un café. Dommage que cette partie ait gâché un peu votre score de 10. Le wifi était aléatoire entre la chambre, les couloirs et le restaurant.

The aircon in only has “cooling settings” which was very disheartening as the nights were very cold. Balcony table and chairs not cleaned and full of dust which made it impossible to relax by the balcony. No microwave in an entire presidential suite. Spent 3 nights but the shower cap/shower gel never replaced so had to outsource these items for the rest of the stay

The room was clean and beautiful, I loved having both a shower and a bathtub in one room , and the view was fantastic

The only problem is the tv set, which is not a smart tv, and therefore one is forced to only watch dstv which doesn’t really provide the latest interesting content. I really suggest that you must provide smart TVs, so that your guests can have other options like Netflix, Youtube etc. I can assure you that your guests would be 100% happy and won’t think twice to book there again.

They didn't split the king bed like I asked, I had to call after checking in and waited almost 20 minutes for the housekeepers to meet the request. There was a night during which the people next door were making noise.

The air conditioning is ancient. Big noisy old unit that sits on the wall and makes lots of noise but doesn’t cool the room. This is the same as on the splendid inn side where I stayed before. Could not sleep well. It was too hot. I expected more from the opposite hotel. Thought the higher rate meant better amenities, like a quiet and cold AC.

On the positive side, the place was very clean and well-maintained. The room service staff were absolutely amazing, and the restaurant and bar staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The pool area was beautiful, child-friendly, and a definite highlight. The location is also very convenient, being close to the beach and nearby malls.

Prior to arrival, I requested an early check-in, fully understanding that it is subject to availability. However, it seemed like no effort was made to even check or follow up on this request, which was frustrating. Additionally, the room did not have a bar fridge, which is a basic amenity I expected. Service was also quite slow — requests took a long time to be attended to, which made the stay inconvenient and less comfortable than it should have been.

We had a wonderful stay — the room was perfect. The view was beautiful, and the space was generous, which we really appreciated. We especially enjoyed the bathtub, as it added to the overall relaxation of our stay. Maintenance responded promptly when we reported an issue with the stopper, which we truly valued. The staff were helpful, professional, and very respectful throughout our visit. We will definitely be coming back.

We didnt stay there

We couldnt stay there - we requested a cancellation as the property wasnt as advertised. We had used the parking and free parking filter on the booking.com app. We received a message to say parking wasnt guaranteed and was R30 if available. We had 4 suitcases as had been travelling for a month. They also messaged to say noise disturbance likely as near music venues. This wasnt disclosed in the advert and we were only staying the one night with an early check out as flying home the next morning. We have heard nothing back from booking.com or the hotel so i am now putting the trnsaction into dispute on my credit card as both platforms are ignoring my request and i have taken legal advice

The staff at the restaurant are very professional and quick to respond. They are diligent, pro-active and provide a courteous service with a smile. The porter went out of his way to assist us with a housekeeping issue. Made apologies for the establishment.

Reception staff is the biggest let down. It was enough to regret the decision to stay at the hotel. She didn't pick up the phone, and did so only on the second attempt, both times that we called to report issues. When the porter reported to her that he could not provide any further assistance with a blocked sink, she enquired from him how she should respond to the feedback being presented to her. In the end we had to get out of bed and be moved to another room, in our pyjamas. With our first report on another matter, she promised that someone would come to the room to assist. No one did.

The breakfast was nice, I enjoyed it. Although there were many guests but it was enough.

The dinner buffet was very poor. There were meals that were finished already when I came. I supposed the kitchen staff underestimated the number of guest coming for dinner.
