Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The location was great, right next to the train station and walkable to the city center. A nice bar/restaurant (Pavarotti's) is beside the hotel. The buffet breakfast was fine. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.
The hotel advertises that the rooms are air-conditioned. This is not true. There is a thermostat in the room but it does not control the temperature. Our room was too hot the whole time we were there and we reported this to the staff several times as did our traveling companions staying in another room. We were told by the staff that there is nothing they can do and they seemed well-aware of the issue. They told us that they would open the windows which they did but it didn't help as the windows are covered with heavy blinds.

De schamele voorzieningen: geen tissues, geen plankje voor toiletspullen, weinig handdoekhaakjes, geen makeupspiegel, geen kledinkast, weinig hangers, geen koelkast, 1 cupje koffie pp pd en verder niets extra’s, onhandig boekenplankje als nachtkastje, geen parking.

The shower flooded as soon as I opened the tap - I had to mop my way out of the bathroom. Room was spacious, adapted to someone in a wheel chair.

The hotel was clean, and the view from my room was amazing. The blackout curtains were also great for sleeping in. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always ready to help.

L'unico neo è stato causato dal piumone troppo caldo per la stagione nella quale abbiamo soggiornato; avremmo preferito una trapuntina leggera per evitare di coprirci e/scoprirci durante il sonno nonostante l'aria condizionata.

El personal de recepción no hablaba español, inglés sí. No nos dieron indicaciones de que visitar en la ciudad ni información relevante del hotel, como el descuento en el bar de abajo y otras cosas, que si ves que hacen en hoteles españoles. 😶

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Ruime kamer, fijne bedden. Direct naast het station en met 10 minuten lopen sta je op de Markt. Ontbijt was goed en werd steeds tijdig bijgevuld.
Bedbank was vrij hard en door de schuifdeur kwam veel licht, waardoor het al vroeg heel licht werd op de kamer. Ook was de airco erg lawaaiierig, maar dat werd beter op een lagere stand. De föhn doet bijna niets haha dus succes als je een volle of lange bos haar hebt.

Breakfast is not included and the provided breakfast is expensive. Hotel locks its front door around 10:30 and you can't get back in with your room key; you have to be buzzed back in.

Being in a wheelchair, the doors are extremely heavy which made it a little bit tricky to get myself through them. Also our bathroom floor was very wheelchair friendly, however the drainage was not good and the whole bathroom floor would flood and then you would need to use the squeegee mop each time you had a shower to get all the water down the drain in the shower. Putting towels on the floor helped a little bit but it was just something that was a bit annoying.

The old town with its quaint canals, cafes, and churches is just a short walk away. The room was small but very adequate. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

Het ontbijt was de eerste ochtend ondermaats. We kwamen om 8u30 en er lag al heel weinig op het buffet. Toen we vroegen of er nog aangevuld werd, kregen we een Nee. Er werden uiteindelijk dan toch nog enkele broodjes gebracht. De tafels werden niet opgeruimd. De ruimte is zeker groot genoeg, maar we konden geen propere tafel vinden voor 2. Personeel was niet vriendelijk, beetje arrogant zelfs. De ochtend daarop, was alles wel top in orde ! Onze kamer was wel Super en heel netjes !

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Gleich neben Bahnhof gelegen. Zu Fuß in 5 Minuten im Zentrum. Mit der Straßenbahnlinie 1 kann man bis Den Haag bzw. bis an die Nordsee fahren. Auch Rotterdam ist gut öffentlich erreichbar. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber, das Bett sehr bequem. Die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert, aber man konnte bei Bedarf an frische Luft auch das Fenster öffnen. Check out bis 12:00 Uhr :-)
Bei Ankunft vor 15:00 Uhr wenn das Zimmer schon fertig ist, kann man es nur gegen Zusatzgebühr beziehen, was bei den hohen Zimmerpreisen echt übertrieben ist. Im Badezimmer gibt es zwar einen Spiegel über dem Waschbecken, aber der Spiegel ist fürs Rasieren oder Schminken echt ungegeignet. Es gibt einen großen Spiegel an der Eingangstür, der kann aber doch nicht fürs Rasieren oder Schminken gedacht sein, oder... ;) Die Badezimmertür war eine Schiebetür die sich nur sehr schwer schieben ließ.
