The hotel location was beautiful, very spacious rooms,,very close to the historic district,the hotel was very clean with a very friendly staff me and my dog cody loved the special pet area for him to go potty,,while traveling to the hotel I arrived earlier then I expected and they let me check in anyway for a rest after my long trip it meant alot,the breakfast was good with alot of food choices

The parking for 35 dollars and if you didn't chose for them to valet your car you wouldn't be able to park your own car in the underground garage to keep your car cool on a hot day or save you from getting soaking wet on a rainy day and it seems to me you have more spots for valet then regular spots for you to park yourself and I was going to be in and out of the hotel alot with shopping and touring the historic district and I wanted to come back to check on my dog often so due to that I wanted to park myself so I didn't have to keep asking for my car keys it was more convenient for me

Had to ask them to come in and clean the toilet when we got to our room. There was someones pee on the toilet seat and pubic hairs. For what we paid it was gross. I only stay at Hilton... maybe not anymore....

When the construction on the bridge is done, it will be accessible to the old town area.

The staff seemed bothered to help us at the front desk. My Aunt was doing laundry and someone had their clothing sitting in the dryer. When she went to the front desk the worker told her that there was nothing to do and was rude about it. Also, check in is 4 pm and our rooms weren’t ready until almost 6!!

The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The service was good, and the staff was attentive. The breakfast was basic but adequate.

The only downside was the parking fee, which is $29 per night, a bit on the expensive side.

There was only Valet parking available. The parking lot was large and right there in front of the property with easy walking distance. Extra $29 to pay for parking plus tips every time you needed car. Unnecessary expense I would have definitely parked my own car.

Die Lage zum Historical District ist super. Der Poolbereich ist i.O., Fitnessstudio ist auch ok! Ganztägig Kaffee und Wasser. Grillbereich/Terasse war ebenfalls gut.

Frühstück war wirklich spärlich und das schlechteste auf unserem gesamten Trip. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Küche, die Ausstattung dazu war allerdings ein Witz. Lieber weglassen, anstatt es so anzubieten. Nur VALET Parken! Die 29$ extra für den Parkplatz sind meinetwegen noch OK, weil normal in den USA, aber die Parkplätze sind 10m vom Eingang entfernt und man musste das Auto immer „abgeben“ und holen lassen, gegen TIP. Absolut dumm und unnötig, weil ich mein Auto fast anfassen kann, während es geholt wird. Selten wurden Handtücher am Pool aufgefüllt. Laundry kostet Geld, ist nicht kostenfrei. Keine Schattenplätze auf der Terrasse, im Sommer natürlich hart in Florida. Das Hotel will leider mehr sein, als es ist.

Sérieusement la cuisine ne sert à rien. Il n'y avait que 3 fourchettes. Aucun poêlon, même pas une passe à spaghetti.

Didn’t realize the bridge was closed so walking downtown was not really an option.

Friendly staff. Good location but unfortunately bridge repairs stopped us walking straight into the historic quarter easily.

House keeping was a bit laboured and had to chase a few times. But over all good. Not sure the boat people that used the swimming pool area do the hotel any favours.

I made my reservations through booking.com. When I arrived at the property there was a parking lot and a parking garage beneath the hotel although it was all blocked off. I was informed that it was valet parking only. I told the valet that I would park my own car which he accepted. When I checked in I was told that there was no choice about the valet parking and I would be charged an additional 29.00 per night. I am disputing these charges with booking.com and my credit card. They have every detail about the property on booking.com but told me they have tried to add the valet parking in their description on booking.com without any luck hard to believe. Knowing about the valet parking I never would of chosen to stay there and maybe some of you would agree thought you should know.

Perfecte ruime suite, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Personeel top. En woensdagavond de gratis manager reception, met hapjes, bier en wijn. Prima zwembad en gym, tegen het oude centrum aan.

1 Minpuntje, tijdens ons verblijf was de brug naast het hotel dicht wegens onderhoud. Hierdoor was het centrum niet makkelijk lopend te bereiken.

Breakfast’s don’t really change up. I stay at that location 3-4 times a year and it’s always the same, with maybe a waffle morning thrown in here or there. My biggest complaint is the Valet only requirement and the price is now $29. Per night up from $25. The attendants are all very nice but for that price and it not being a luxury hotel they should be unloading luggage onto carts for the customers and taking it to your room. There is ample parking in the lot because they park just about every car in the unground garage. Last complaint is i went and looked to grab a candy bar from the pantry where they sell a few items and a regular KitKat bar was $5.00! I expect that at Disney but not Homewood Suites!

Jesse and Zack gave us tips on local places to visit and overall great valet service! We never felt pressured for tips or anything. They were awesome!

We are pleased with our greeting and check-in experience. As we parked Jesse assisted us in finding a handicap parking spot and advised of a discount offered. The hotel and most important, our room, is clean and nicely appointed.

The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was very kind, the welcome package of bottled water was a nice touch. I also liked the vicinity of the Capybara Cafe (exotic animals shelter just around the corner), and I think that it deserves to be promoted more visible in your hotel's lobby.

The breakfast was NOT a pleasant experience. The food selection was very poor (only omelette, no boiled eggs, no fresh vegetables), the layout of the food was not efficient (long queues for waffles obstructed access to other food), the use of single-use plastic could have been avoided.

A big shout out to Linda at the front desk she was above and beyond kind and extremely professional! The room was very comfortable the staff was very accommodating from the valet gentleman to housekeeping. Enjoyed breakfast this morning. I will definitely return!

Valet parking fee

I’m currently staying here for work. I arrived on April 6 2026 and I’ll be here til May 29 2026. The valet guy Jesse is always helpful always friendly always a positive and friendly face at the Homewood Suites. Friendly and happy faces always makes a stay that much more pleasant.

Jesse was very welcoming and kind, and helped my mother and me with our luggage. He also gave us some great restaurant recommendations in the area. He was great!

Devon was very helpful and nice, they only do valet parking though bit of a downer.

The room smelled like bleach, and I believe it was infested with bedbugs. I have bed bug bites on my arms and stomach and I have to call Stanley Steamer to clean my entire condo which will cost about $400.00 No bar/restaurant at the facility. Did not get rewards points wince it was booked by a third party.

Spacious rooms, contemporary design. Located about 15 minutes walk from the old town area.

Bridge by hotel that connects it to old town area is under renovation, so you need to walk further to get to the tourist attractions. Wish that had been communicated to us prior to making the reservation. There is no self parking available, so you have to commit to the $30 a day valet parking. Room service did not remove used cups and coffee filter, and they did not refill the lotion in the bathroom, even after being retested.

The pool, the Wednesday night customer appreciation and valet was nice.

They block off parking, tell you there is only valet and then charge you $29.00 + tax a day when you already paid to stay there. Bed and pillows as hard as rocks, furniture in the room was uncomfortable, The pullout bed had a very thin uncomfortable cushion on it, breakfast was the same everyday and was precooked heated in the microwave sausage and powder eggs.

I would prefer to park my own car not valet parking but that’s just me. Breakfast was horrible. We spent $400 for 1 night and the breakfast was inedible. Come on Hilton you have to do alot better. I wanted a cup of tea before bed and there was no hot water.

From the minute the Valet took my truck at arrival, to picking it back up at departure, my stay was seamless. I met Devon Nicol (Valet) at arrival and departure and could tell his enthusiasm and courtesy matched the caliber of Homewood Suites. Professional and Pleasant every time!

Devon was my valet, and he took extremely good care of us. He was punctual and polite, and got us our vehicle back on time and efficiently. He’s really a master at his craft. Great hire.

The location of the hotel is pretty good, about 10 min walk downtown. The area is quiet and safe. We liked the hot breakfast provided in the morning. And the pool are was pretty

I thought valet parking was unnecessary. Truthfully even inconvenient when you have to be in and out. But it is a minor inconvenience

In St Augustine for our son’s wedding. Enjoyed the location and size of our room. We thought the valet parking would be an issue but Ron, Jesse, Cordjoul and others were wonderful and we had quick access to our car. Would highly recommend the hotel for easy access to the historic area, the beach and the highway.
