the facilities are top notch
lets start with breakfast which isn't included , one hr wait for our partners breakfast one and a half for ours, room service cleaned the rooms took all the used towels and did not replace them, nor the coffee pods we used or cups! next parking huge parking lot that costs 30 per day and this hotel is about 1.5 miles from downtown! also had a health emergency at home tried to cancel , would have cost one days price per room
Close to everything
Extremely hard bed and flat pillows
Beautiful location, friendly staff and very clean
Pay parking very high at $30
Did not have breakfast but it did look very good and many guest were enjoying it. We did not eat because we were have lunch at the Fish House which was excellent.
Nothing, its a great place. We would defiantly stay there again.
Everything was amazing 🤩
Never I knew that we needed to pay the parking.
Great

Pool was great and all but 1 staff were excellent
1 x reception staff, who was on his mobile on our arrival, was very unwelcoming on checkin. Offered minimal information so we had to ask numerous questions, even down to where was the lift. As we left the hotel for the first evening, he was sat on a guest sofa again on his mobile which summed up his customer service skills
Habitación amplia y cómoda . Posibilidad de desayuno . Solo estuve una noche
Nicely appointed; fresh and clean
Nothing
liked the convenience to downtown and attractions. hotel was nice and clean
Didn't like and wasn't advised at check in that I was going to be charged $30 for parking on the hotel property.
Beautiful room and hotel. Upscale accommodations without the price. I would definitely stay here again
$30 a day to park after paying dearly for a room?? This charge was not explained to us and then shows up on our bill. I would have parked on the street if I had known. This is a total rip- off!
Parking fee
It is clean
Far from central location, pricey parking lot
Close to lots of things to do
The excessive parking fee daily and the fruit flies by the bar and restaurant daily
The customer service was extremely helpful and professional. The property is clean and you will see someone cleaning somewhere throughout the day.
This may be minor to some, however, I personally need the ac cooling the room at all times. Also, there need to have smart tvs in each room . I was not able to watch a movie by casting my iPhone.
Room and beds were clean. Staff asked husband for his credit card for incidentals, then charged $30 for parking, without informing him. When questioned, we were told the charge is on the website and welcome letter. I was sent neither since I booked through 3rd party. Additionally, breakfast buffet is not included, it is $16 per person for average hotel breakfast. Hilton Honors doesn't get you parking or breakfast, only points at this location.
It was close to where I needed to be. Good location. The rooms where super nice and quiet. I've never been in a cleaner hotel. The staff was amazing and helpful. I couldn't have picked a better spot and hotel. Beautiful in the historic district.
You had to pull the door shut when you left. It is really tight seal on the door so when you came in or left you had to pull or push it all the way shut. The only other thing was the glass shower door kept trying to open while I was showering.
We walked everywhere we went. Hotel was very helpful with suggestions.
This resort is very nice, clean, and in a great location. The food is delicious, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean with plenty of towels, great water pressure, and the bed was comfortable. The pool was enjoyable and a great place to relax.
Perfect location in the Historic District! Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Excellent on-site restaurant. Was really surprised how good the food was! We had breakfast and dinner there each day of our stay. Staff were kind and professional. Our dog loved it too.😄
The location was good. The staff was very nice. Beds were comfortable.
The balcony was not much. It was part of the roof. There was no view.
I loved the location and how beautifully it was decorated.
The beds were very uncomfortable.
Booked an Ocean View Room for 4 nights. The hotel did not explain there is a busy road in front of the hotel with traffic noise starting at 6:00 AM . The ocean is a away on the other side of the road. The rooms needed updating and has single pane windows. Nikky of the staff was very understanding as we checked out the next day and moved to another hotel.
Nice hotel, friendly, eff & clean.
Very convenient location. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Augie at the front desk made us feel welcome and gave us a lot of information - 5 star rating for him 😊
Nothing - all good
Usually Hilton Garden Inn provides a great experience but not this time. Unfortunately we did not experience the quality we expect from the Hilton brand. We had a number of issues and fortunately we were only in for one night while passing through town. The grounds and common areas of the hotel were nice and clean. Check-in was fairly easy although the gentleman checking in at the desk seemed distracted and less interested in us. He slowly got us checked in, but basically handed us our keys and went back to what he was doing. Didn't tell us our room number, point us to the elevators or anything. Obviously we figured it out on our own but not the best first impression for guests. When we got to our room it smelled like urine and seemed stale. We closed off the bathroom and that seemed to help but didn't completely resolve. The air conditioner unit sounded like a helicopter taking off when it came on so it woke you up throughout the night. And the icing on the cake is the fact that there's an ice maker 12 inches from your room door that dropped ice all night long and it sounded like people were getting ice in your room when they came to fill up. The absolute WORST location of an ice maker l've ever seen. I would not put guests in these rooms and would just simply mark them as unusable. And lastly, it is crazy to me that they have jumped on the same ‘gouge customers’ bandwagon that many businesses have figured out and that is - let's charge them for parking so we can make more profit. To pay to park at a hotel that isn't in a downtown or metro city area is ridiculous and nothing short of a cheap ploy to line the businesses pockets with extra money. I wouldn't have minded paying to park if I was downtown in the historic or more restricted area of St Augustine but not here. Sadly when Hilton asked me for feedback I explained all of this and a Hilton Honors made no attempts to set it right. No offer of a discount, no offer of points, just simply said "we're sorry you had a bad experience and we'll talk to maintenance-you shouldn't have had to experience that." Very disappointed in both the hotel and Hilton Honors.
The sliding glass doors on the shower don't stay closed very well and water tends to get all over the bathroom floor. Only ate breakfast once but the coffee was very weak, sausage burnt, omelet overdone. Finally, I think charging for parking is ridiculous. MOST other hotels, including Hilton properties that I mostly stay in, do NOT charge for parking.
The cleanliness was impeccable. The location was OK. I wish it would’ve been more of a walking distance to downtown area . Overall a great stay and price is right!
Nothing
El hotel es todo lujo muy confortable sus habitaciones, el personal nos trato con mucha cortesía y amabilidad, incluyendo el personal de servicio que siempre saludaba, Recomiendo este hotel 100%, Excelente relación Calidad - Precio.
just entering the premises was beautiful and so clean. the host welcomed us and gave us information about the place. The room was comfy, the pillows and coverings were great, we loved it. Bathroom was nice and modern. i loved the 2nd sink outside the bathroom
we loved it and wished we could have stayed longer
Isabel was great host
Very clean
Great tonight hotel stay for our family. They did a great job of taking care of their lifetime Diamond guest. Jerome is the front desk manager, and he is awesome. Super friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Easy walk to St. George Street and the historic District with tons of great restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Cleanliness and customer service
Cutting of the grass and debris getting on cars
My wife raved about the room, cleanliness, breakfast food, staff kindliness and price. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
All staff very helpful and engaged, which was not the case for the one member of staff manning reception on our arrival, ‘Jeremiah’ or similar, did not welcome us on arrival, had no words of advice about the services or facilities offered by the hotel and went through the minimal process to register us. On our return after a meal out, he was sat on a customer seating area engaged only on his mobile phone.
Limpieza y el personal muy profesionales
I DID NOT EAT THE BREAKFAST. THE BUFFET WAS $16 AND LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFASTS AT THE OTHER LOCATIONS I HAVE STAYED AT.
absurd that I had to pay for parking in the hotel parking lot as a diamaond member esprcially, when there are no benefits conveyed with parking, such as security, a secure area, etc. just a parkomg lot money grab. shameful.
L’emplacement
Les employés toutes désorganisées
Atmosphere excellent! Staff Professional & friendly.
Very clean and decent location
Paid parking , not very friendly staff,
Staff what’s very friendly rules were very clean
Most of the stay was okay
Paying to park in the parking lot! Why not include the price within the hotel price not a separate fee...
All was clean, hospitable and great service
Very friendly staff and room was very clean. Location was great
Man was the staff amazing! Augi and Jennifer made us feel right at home and sent us to some of the best bars/restaurants we’ve ate at on tour!!! We are a Country Music duo that travel all year with our brand Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts. This was a random hotel pick that has made Hilton a go too on the road! Much Love Brent Underwood Like Carrie without the Money Spotify/Apple Music
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in St Augustine Historic District where the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Our room was spacious and i rate it a 9 out of 10 clean. The manager, Jovante was fantastic, friendly and very accommodating as was ALL the staff
Great facility and location
Nothing
The Hotel was well taken care of - clean rooms, comfortable beds. The hotel has an issue with the TVs in the rooms - I had to move heavy furniture to get to the outlet that the TV was plugged into, unplug it, and re plug it to get the TV to work (This is a common occurance, I received the unplug/replug instructions from the front desk). The shower floor in our room was dangerously slippery, and the rooms should be provided with bath mats. I was really disappointed with the quality of the food at breakfast - we did the buffet one day, and everything was cold, and the breakfast items that we ordered from the menu the following days was not much better. As a lifetime Diamond Level member, I am disappointed that breakfasts for Hilton Honors members are not free, like they used to be. The Hotel bar was terrific, our bartender Paula was great.
Excellent hotel. Beautiful, clean, inviting.
We were very pleased with the hotel staff, its decor and cleanliness. It was close to the hop on off Trolley which used to travel around town
Away from the crowds, but convenient to transit the city
My coffee maker did not work
Clean and comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff.
Location was fine. No breakfast included. $20 parking even though lot mostly empty. We are not talking about a busy area of town. Seems excessive. They need to work on cleaning more. Front desk staff was nice.
Room was clean and quiet. Staff was nice.
Bed was too firm, the sheets were starting to pill and the pillows weren't fluffy.
Absolutely beautiful! The employees are awesome!
Rooms were clean and updated but nothing special property is 1.3 miles from downtown ST. Augustine so that is very convenient.
It was an easy walk to the historic center. The hotel was very clean and the room was nice.
I think charging for parking is ridiculous. The hotel had it's own lot.
Very nice hotel. Good location and quick access to fort and shopping area. Front staff very friendly. Rooms very clean and beds and pillows were super comfy. Firm mattress with some padding. A few disappointing features were that there was no face soap or shower cap in the bathroom. Also, the smell throughout the hotel was sickening to me. I’m sure it was pumped in, but to me it smelled like bug spray.. Same smell with the shower gel and conditioner. Also, should have a grab bar in the shower. Overall, very nice hotel.
Everything! It was beautiful, well kept, the staff was very friendly!
I can't say that there was anything I didn't like about the property! Thank you for taking such good care of it!
Excellent service. The facility is beautiful, clean and a perfect walk to the historic site
Great location! Employees are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well maintained. The room was clean and spacious. I only wish it offered complementary breakfast.
Nice hotel - close to everything we needed. I understand paying to valet - nightly fee to self-park is not appreciated.
Really nice and comfortable accommodations. Met our needs for a short 2 day stay And brief visit to St. Augustine. Very convenient location.
My wife and I spent two days sightseeing in St. Augustine. Although I grew up in southwest Florida, and was familiar with Florida history, i still Iearned alot. The "nations's oldest city" originally "discovered" by the Spanish explorer, Juan Ponce deLeon in the 1500s, has a long and violent history that is recounted by the trolley drivers and carriage drivers on any local tour. We took the Hop On - Hop Off Trolley and experienced various drivers as we explored the oldest city. Each driver gave their own perspective as they talked about the numerous historical events. Some drivers were more entertaining than others. My wife and I also took a 45 minute carriage tour of the old town area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and especially entertaining. She gave a more in depth history of the city, from the explorers of the 1500s throughthe halcyon days of the late 1800s and early 1900s, to the Civil Rights turbulence of the 1960s. If you can afford the $110+ for the carriage tour , I highly recommend it. Do not give up the Trolley, though. The carriage ride covers a smaller area of the city and is non-stop, except for a brief rest stop for the horse. The trolley covers the entirety of the historical district and, at $30 per person for the whole day, it is a reliable means of transportation as well as an entertaining tour of the city. If you are driving to the historical district, there is parking available (for a fee) at the parking garage. Ample parking is availablethere before 10am. After that, it could be an issue. There is extremely limited parking (usually for a fee) available elsewhere. There are numerous paid attractions available, however, we found that for the first day or so, the trolley and carriage tours provided ample entertainment. I might consider some of the attractions if I was staying longer, or for a second trip. I would not hesitate to go back again.
So glad I chose this hotel to visit St Augustine. It was in a perfect location and only a 20 minute walk to downtown St Augustine. You are right across from the Fountain of Youth and a block from the trolley station. This hotel was very clean and modern. The grounds were kept up, the lobby was spacious with lots of cozy seating, and this hotel had a bar and restaurant. The room was spacious with shelves in the bathroom to place your things, shelves and drawers across from the bathroom to store your clothes. There was even a shoe shelf in the main room. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Lots of lighting. Big tv but the remote was pretty clunky and due to the windy rainy days, some of the channels had poor audio. There was a microwave, fridge and Kuerig coffee machine that all functioned well. The staff at this hotel were phenomenal! The front deck was kind and helpful. The bartenders were fun and enjoyable to chat with. The housekeepers were very sweet. It was too cold to swim so we did not use the pool but would have if we had a sunny day. Pros: Great staff, clean rooms, spacious, the cheese board at the Restuarant is delicious! Angie at the front desk was super. Jennifer at the bar was the best! Cons: the coffee provided every morning in the lobby was very very weak. Just terrible. I even switched to hot tea because the coffee was that bad.
Spotlessly clean as looked like a new hotel, good rooms & facilities
Coffee maker in the room not working & dog barking in the night for an extended period
Staff was not at the counter for reception or check out. Had to look around to find them on every occasion we needed them.
Clean & close to most activities
For the value, no safe, no slippers & robe provided, no pens & paper
It is ok
For the value, there’s no safe, slippers & robe not provided, no paper & pen
WE did not eat breakfast. We are breakfast eaters but not enough to justify $15.95. FYI we did see families with children come to breakfast and leave due to the cost. Coffe was great.
We had to ask for shampoo and toilet paper. The shampoo bottle was empty and we put on the last roll go toilet.
Location and the rooms were so clean
No balcony
No sé si o acaban de remodelar pero está muy bien conservado, muy limpio, acogedor, moderno, amplio
The hotel is nicely decorated. The bed and room were comfortable and has nice amenities. The layout was thoughtful.
Room cleanliness starting to show wear--a little attention to minor details would help.
We didn't have breakfast.
Had to leave master light on in order to be able to turn bathroom light on at night.
It was clean and comfortable.
The TV service went out during the Olympics Men’s Final Hockey game. Coffee pot leaked. Reserved a room with a king and got two queens. Parking expensive and not very convenient. Room rates high for what we got. The manager at checkout was very understanding and adjusted the bill.
