Great location for Channel Crossing. Comfortable bed, very clean and a lovely breakfast

Location was fantastic as easy walk to central part of town, right beside the train station (never heard one train) and the discount outlets. Easy to catch and Uber or Taxi if needed to. Nice eating area for breakfast.

I am gluten and dairy free and vegetarian which limited my food choices. I wish they would have been able to make me some scrambled eggs without milk.

Room was small. Breakfast was basic not hilton standard. Basic sausages, watery egg scramble & Dry waffles served without cream or fruits!

Excellent location. Close to Ashford International station. Short walk to the town.

On arrival there was a notice telling me to press in intercom button to gain access. I couldn't see said button. I am blind in one eye and the other is not great. The button turned out to be a tiny silver button in a small silver key pad and I was spoken to as if I was an idiot by the staff member who came out to let me in. Not a great welcome!. The other staff, however, were OK.

Appalling reception team. Rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful. Arrived to find a sign saying the restaurant was closed to a private golfing party. Unable to use restaurant and not made aware. When I pointed this out the following morning I was basically told I was lying and there was no sign! No customer service skills what so ever. Shocking

When doors close or somebody is banging around upstairs it feels like the building is going to come down. Glass can shudder and I've been told this is a container build so thats how it feels to be honest..

Handy for onward journey to Le Shuttle. EV charging points were handy and easy to use. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Slightly on the small side but for one night they were perfectly adequate. Food options for the evening were limited but thecquality of the food was good. We left befire breakfast service started so didn't experience it

it was clean

there was a constant buzzing in the room at night alongside the humm of the air con. it was persistant and made it v difficult to sleep. I informed the desk in the morning but they seemed uninterested, though they did say they would get their maintenance team to investigate.

Location and staff

We were charged £20 per night to change our room from a Queen accessible room to a regular Queen room. Also, we left our room before 10am and our room cleaning was not completed when we returned at 3.20pm. At breakfast, the eggs are kept right next to the pork sausages, and people use the incorrect spoons to dish the eggs and sausages, cross contaminating these.

It was close to the Eurotunnel for an overnight stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was also close to Ashford Retail Outlet which our teenage daughter loved.

The breakfast was basic and as we were early was a bit disappointing. When we arrived and parked in a charging bay to charge our car we were immediately told you have 5 mins before you are charged and when booking having booked parking in advance we thought this was a bit excessive. We moved the car and came back in and moved it back to the charger later on.

Great bed, excellent shower, noise insulation and excellent breakfast. Staff was friend and efficient.

I had not booked parking spot, so it was full. When I tried to call ahead of time staff was struggling to let me know if I could park at all. In the end there are many options to park (even for free all night) at 6 minutes walk.

Room was fantastic, clean and loved having a sofa. Could bring in your own food which was fantastic.

20 minute what turned into an argument as the gentleman who was trying to check me could not understand me and kept spelling my name wrong & thus continued to tell me I did not have a booking. Parking an absolute nightmare.

Clean tidy staff helpful

It was a perfect location for the function we were attending. Breakfast was good, as was the shower.

Unfortunately, we received a really frosty reception when we checked in. The receptionist was grumpy and verging on rude. We were told that the car park was full and when we asked where we could park, he was quite stroppy and unhelpful.

Free parking at Victoria Road, short walk back, between 1800 and 0800.Breakfast was very good and plenty to choose from.

There is nothing obvious that I can think of. It was a very pleasant stay

Probably one of the best Ashford hotels. So spacious lobby and dining area. Our room seemed to be a cut above the norm. Comfortable bed and all the small conveniences one would expect.

Car park charge seemed a little steep since parking in the town public car park is free from 3pm. However because of the hotel's location,effectively there is no choice. Also it didn't appear to be any more secure. The breakfast hasn't kept up with current health trends but it was inclusive and once in a while probably won't do you much harm

It would be difficult to find fault with the hotel's location or facilities which suited our requirements in almost every way. The breakfast offering was simply superb.

We were disappointed that the evening meal menu was extremely limited to either pizzas or curry/chilli and the quality of what was served was poor. This resulted us going across the road to eat for our 2nd and 3rd nights. The car parking charge of £12.50 per night is high and especially so when we were told that there was no reduction for being a blue badge holder.

The room was advertised as a queen size but was a double bed which wasn't big enough for tall adults. The breakfast was lacking on most items. Was disappointed to have to pay £12.50 fir parking.

Location & comfort

Some areas in the rooms lack in cleanliness such as kettles ( the button specifically where you push to open the lid ) around the taps on the sink not cleaned properly , also needs 2 on reception at busy times as waiting causes delays which is a problem when you have to get a train or be somewhere for a certain time ! Also the quality of the produce used for some of the breakfast items is clearly ‘cheap’& for the first time the room took a long time to warm up .

Debería avisar el hotel por teléfono o mandar un mensaje cuando hay algún problema antes de cancelar. Cancelaron a las 22:40 y llegamos al hotel un rato después, pero ya lo habían hecho. Igualmente BOOKING debería entender que si envía un mensaje estamos viajando y es posible no verlo. Dijeron que era un problema con la tarjeta cuando hemos pagado con la misma en booking todo el tiempo. Falta de consideración y empatía todo el tiempo.

Ashford war für uns ein Zwischenstop, der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es liegt zentral zur Autobahn und einige Restaurants sind gut zu Fuss zu erreichen.

Having to pay nearly £15 to park in the hotel (you've paid for) carpark... Having to pay a further (refundable) £50 after you've paid for your room in full. None of this is listed prior to paying.

We requested a disabled room. Bathroom met that well But the bed was very far from accessible. It was too low and no handrail to help us get up. Mr Streeter has very poor mobility due to knee problems. It took nearly twenty minutes to get him on his feet. Breakfast was hot, very important, and tasty.

As above, bed far too low for poor mobility guests. That is our only complaint, but was exceedingly difficult. Also the pillows look great, but sink the moment you put your head on them.

Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal am Empfang. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Parkplatz im Voraus buchen, da die Anzahl begrenzt ist. Man ist schnell auf der Autobahn zum Eurotunnel, daher bietet sich diese Hotel an. Die angebotenen Speisen sind gut. Es war schon teuer, aber es ist eben Saison und die angebotenen Leistungen waren ok dafür.

Leider kann man die Fenster nicht öffnen und lüften. Über Nacht wird die Luftqualität trotz Klimaanlage stickig, das stört mich an vielen Hotels.

Property is first class. But very limited availability of a decent meal on arrival (pizza and the like) after a long journey was disappointing.

I thought that the room was clean. It was good to have air con as well. The breakfast was good and a nice selection of hot and coldfood. A nice surprise was that the hot food plates were well warmed which in other hotels is not often the case. The evening meals were well priced and worth the money but not a great selection. The Waiting staff at breakfast were very polite and helpful, although there was only one coffee machine working which meant that there was always a wait.

The parking!!! It was only when I arrived I was told that I needed to book this and that it was in the T's and C's so I had to park about half a mile away which was not ideal. I have never had this before when booking with Booking.com but I was told that it was my fault for not reading all the info. Later I had a text asking me if the room was ok. I agreed but mentioned about the parking again. I was told that I should have read the onfo and it was my fault. There was no thought other than I was a bit stupid!! When I went back to the front desk there was another customer that was also having the same issue and every time I went passed the desk I could hear the staff saying to customers about the Parking. Ok it was light but a woman on her own in the winter, come on Hilton... Staff on the front desk had zero empathy for the situation, terrible!!!!!

Super comfortabel en aangename kamers met airconditioning. Fijn dat er ontbijt is inbegrepen dat ook rekening houd met dieet wensen. Plantaardige en soya producten.

De parking dat er is, is super handig, enkel jammer dat die best duur is (£12,5) per nacht en slechts beperkt beschikbaar.

Ideal location

My wife left a leopard skin pair of pyjamas in the first room we were allocated - we had to move. The room number was 204. Unfortunately she left them under a pillow. Miraculously they disappeared when we asked if they’d been handed in. This put a total damper on our stay

Proximity to city center and retail outlets as well as Aldi was very convenient. Almost all of the staff were very helpful. And breakfast was good.

A bit of storage space would have been nice , we were there for over a week and didnt really like living out of my suitacse. Asides that .nothing else really, it was a tad expensive but overall worth it.
