Noisy guests! We had a very disturbed night with revellers returning in the early hours Urs

Ease of getting to the hotel, proximity to the shuttle.

Just great staff

Reception area was impressive. Bar was ok but service was a little slow and somewhat uncaring. Bedroom and bathroom were very good. We did not take dinner at the hotel, nor did we take breakfast as it started to late for us.

Location was good - Close by to restaurant chains. Downstairs area was nice and looked after.

Outdated rooms and SPA facilities - rooms were not as clean due to mould/hair. SPA facilities / changing rooms were also the same. Would not have expected such conditions in a 4 star hotel.

Stayed here after a long, hot day at Port Lympne, very close by and easy to find. Easy check in process , lots of nice seating areas to sit and have a drink, kids enjoyed the swimming pool . Dinner was really good as was breakfast.

The pillows were awful. After cleaning our room, they only left us 1 towel for 2 people.

The communal areas of the hotel had a luxury feel, very modern, up to date and clean. The swimming pool and spa area was lovely and clean, good size and great facilities. The male receptionist at the spa made a real effort to talk to my son, which he appreciated. Really lovely stay!

The smell on our way to our room (corridor 330) I can only imagine comes from the outdated/unpleasant carpet and wallpaper? My son would hold his breath walking down there. The grouting on the tiles in the bathroom could do with a thorough clean or redoing - quite dirty.

Clean & comfortable

Helpful and friendly staff on the main desk and Evangelina serving us at dinner. We appreciated the 11am check out as it's hard not to feel rushed when it's 10am. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna too.

The rooms need smart tvs, a tv with just freeview is living in the past. I have stayed at worse chain hotels that had better tvs in the room

The bed was comfortable. The shower was fine although there was very little shower gel over the bath. Tea and coffee facilities were good and the tv worked. The spa pool and steam room were good.

The old plastic smell along the corridors. The fact that an early checkout was charged for - never stayed anyway that has insisted on that before. If the room is ready what on earth are you paying for. The jacuzzi was way too small and the timer on it was ridiculously long between between bubbles.

High-end feel to all areas (reception, lift, bedroom, bathroom, external facade); friendliness and helpfulness of staff; proximity to motorway but no associated noise.

Comfortable and modern, plenty of space.

Bed was a bit creaky but was comfortable. No shower gel in the room however there’s was shampoo, condition, body lotion and soap.

Not a lot. The room was okay but the water pressure for the shower could have been better.

Breakfast was shambolic and ruined the experience. The cooked breakfast buffet was awful in many ways. There were also dogs barking throughout the night which was totally unexpected and disappointing.

Excellent Customer service throughout except for the restaurant. The waitress was great the kitchen sefvice not so good we ordered a gluten free cheese burger & chips and sirloin steak with french fries medium. It should not have taken 15 minutes more to cook the steak my partner had all but finished her romantic meal before I started.

The restaurant I paid for me a lot of money and expected something great. It wasnt great and I wasnt even given a steak knife to cut my steak

As soon as we walked through the corridors there was a weird smell. We walked into the room and it smelt stale like cigarettes. The corridor we were down was really noisy which isn't the fault of the hotel but having screaming kids next door to us was far from ideal. The bathroom was dirty. We decided to leave and book a premier inn up the road instead

Room very dated and could really need renovation, carpets becoming thin and stained, toilet rarely flushes.

I love everything about the hotel the food was amazing excellent customer service. The room had everything you need it was clean.

The staff were amazing. The reception & bar etc had definitely had a recent refurbishment. The lady on reception was brilliant & sorted our room issues. Amazing chap at breakfast coped with a huge number of guests seemingly on his own but with a smile

The corridors to the bedrooms needed lot of attention as smelt unpleasant & needed repainting & carpet was filthy

Pool facilities need updating .Pool shower hot tap not working & they are aware of it but not repaired or a sign saying as just.Jacuzzi is awful -doesn’t work efficiently,waited half hour before it came on only by informing a member of staff who had to turn it on.when it did work fit only 15 minutes then it went off again only to be told by staff that you have to wait a further 25 minutes before it comes back on.How ridiculous!!I’ve never heard this before as I’ve gone to many jacuzzi before.& apparently it is a new jacuzzi 😳 Awful experience

Dinner was very good, well presented and well cooked.

The room. Shabby and not clean enough. Trim coming off the shelves. Crisps down the side of the chair. Light switch came off. Iron and board below standard. Lamp inoperable.

The hotel amenities are good, the breakfast buffet was very good, the staff is very professional.

I had no complaints about anything during my stay

Hotel is smart, spacious and clean with excellent facilities. Staff all friendly and helpful. Room was again a good size. Had evening meal which was excellent. Hotel located 20 mins from Le Shuttle

Lots of things need refreshing. Kettles and irons to start with. Also although there is no outside noise the thudding on the floor above can be heard in your room and the doors bang loudly when closed.

The breakfast and room was nice.

The hotel is a little outdated - could do with a top up of paint in the rooms and new carpets through out.

Get lost in the long corridors

Hotel was easy to find. The room was a reasonable size.

The pillows were very lumpy, which impacted the quality of our sleep. In general the dining / breakfast areas were scruffy, food on chairs, tables not clean, the hot food was cold and things like bread hadn't been topped up and the areas were nt really that clean or tidy.

Booking in was easy. The beds were really clean

The bathroom floor was slippery. The bath did not drain well when having a shower. There was a lot of really loud noise at 2 am, There was a stabbing at the hotel that night and my family were faced with a man with blood on his hands on their arrival so very scary

Breakfast was adequate. Hot items were only warm at best. Very slow at resetting tables fir guests.

No drinking water in the room. We found out later we should have had 2 bottles of water but had none.

Sehr gute Lage für die Durchreise. Sehr ruhig. Hund darf im Bar- und Lobby-Bereich beim Frühstück dabei sein - sehr gut. Reichlich Parkplätze.

The fact that I couldn’t take nice & memorable pictures of myself at the pool, jacuzzi & sauna area.

When we arrived at the hotel there was a major celebration going on. The hotel lobby was filled with party people dressed over the top, loud, and under influence of alcohol. We therefore decided not to use the spa or dine in. We bought earplugs at a nearby supermarket (the vending machine in the hotel was all out). Even so, at night the noise made it difficult to sleep. While this of course cannot be blamed on the hotel, still it would've been nice knowing about this celebration before booking a room here... The breakfast at the hotel wasn't very good, the cooked food was burnt or overly greasy, the fruit didn't look fresh and the cereals were somehow salted? Also many of the supposedly clean cups were dirty. Lastly, the EV chargers at the hotel only worked via an app, which didn't work for us so we had to charge our car elsewhere unfortunately.

Location to the Euro tunnel.

That the whole place had been taken over by a traveller wedding party the place was chaos. Never seen or experienced anything like it clearly the hotel puts profit over everything and everybody else.

I had a spa day with some friends and family for a hen day. One of our ladies had left 2 necklaces in the pocket of her robe which were of high sentimental value. She spoke with a lovely young man by the name of Harry who straight away searched for them and didn't stop until he found them. He could see from her expression they meant a lot to her. So a big thankyou Harry. You really went out of your way for our dear friend.

Came for a hen do, amazing place start to finish wonderful staff and so helpful, Harry at the spa was amazing went way up and beyond to find one of our hens necklaces which were very sentimental to her ans made her day him finding them, the treatments and afternoon tea was absolutely divine highly recommend and will be returning

Had an amazing Spa day, would like to give a special mention to Harry at the spa reception, after realising I’d left my necklaces in the dressing gown that was provided, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to find them not even knowing how sentimental they where to me, such an amazing young man, the whole day which included afternoon tea was just perfect 🤩

Very nice hotel extremely well located for channel tunnel, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and well appointed and extremely good value, noise levels were as expected for a hotel in this location not quiet but not too noisy. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, our server Evangeline in the restaurant was extremely personable, attentive and professional. The hotel seemed to have very good amenities although we just had an overnight stop on the way to the tunnel so did not sample everything.

We came today for my hen do.. lovely day, happy with treatments and afternoon tea.. BIG shout out to HARRY down at the spa reception area.. my mum had left sentimental necklaces in her robe when given back. HARRY.. did everything in his power to try and look and find the necklaces.. no hesitation! He did this before even knowing the sentimental value After searching thoroughly he checked the tumble dryer.. they was there ☺️ If you read this Harry, your a superstar ✨️ Thanks again for your continuous efforts into returning them 💙

Its location & facilities and lounge areas. Lots of comfortable seating to suit all needs. Also a few lounge chairs in the garden area beside the spa. The staff were all very friendly. Our room attendant, Daniela was so lovely.

The pool was nice but I couldn’t stay in there for too long as the chlorine was a little too strong for me. But everyone else seemed to like it.

Would have liked a continental meat and cheese selection and egg options It seemed to be fried egg or nothing? If scrambled or omelette or even poached was available put a sign up?

Was close to a lot of shops and food places and straight off the motorway and easy to find. The place is massive and does have a nice pool area. We also loved breakfast as the choice was good and had something for everyone.

After spending the evening with family in the bar we went back to our room To find the roof leaking all floor chair, my shoes and bag, after going to reception and waiting for about 45 mins they finally decided to give us another room due to being nearly full. Bathrooms are a little mouldy and the corridors to room are in need of some fixing up and painting. The roof in the main lobby was also leaking on people and the front of the hotel flooded as well. Would have been nice if someone had checked on us and made sure everything was okay after the room incident but nothing.

Having to wait for a hour on a Sunday for food at the bar.

Breakfast very poor no scrabble eggs, good coffee though.

No scrabble eggs, chef appeared over worked, food takes too long to be prepared, resulting in long queues and guest with half plates waiting for the rest of the breakfast from the kitchen.

Breakfast was disorganised. When I first arrived at 9 am there were tables left uncleared and I was unable to find a table to sit at. I returned half an hour later to find the same. Some tables had been cleared but not wiped clean. There was clearly a shortage of staff and direction to handle a busy restaurant.

Swimming pool was nice, changing rooms were great and very clean. Dining room was spacious and there was a lot of choice for breakfast. There was nice outside space and lots of cosy seating in the lobby for hanging out, which suited us as we had three groups staying.

The e bathroom was a little mouldy and the bath mat was only fit for the bin. Our mattress was awful, very worn and lumpy our son slept on the sofa bed and that wasn't great but still more comfortable than our mattress.

By the time we got our breakfast to the table it was cold and inedible. However when we checked out the receptionist did not charge us, which resolved the problem.

Restaurant excellent especially waitress staff Breeze and Evangeline who looked after us superbly nothing was to much trouble.

A friend and I booked in overnight to treat ourselves. We used Woucher. The twin room was very good, although some dust found. We used the swimming pool which was small, but not too busy. Not enough private changing areas for me. However, the hotel staff were friendly and so helpful. The food was very good - cream tea on arrival - and in the rrstaurant in the evening. The service was very good throughout. We choose the buffet breakfast which was ok but I would do table service from the menu if visiting again. Exceptional staff include Sophia in the restaurant and Nikita at the bar - both made our stay delightful - thank you!

Lovely hotel, perfect place for a wedding anniversary break. Food was excellent. Special mention for Evangeline, our server, who was attentive and helpful. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the awful coffee served at breakfast!

Had a meal in the restaurant and had 2 waitresses serving us. One, - Chloe has said she was new but done a fantastic job not only with us but from what we over heard of her serving family’s with children as well, she was fantastic, And Evangeline was attentive and polite throughout. Both are a credit to the restaurant team and gave fantastic customer service!

We had a lovely evening here for my mum's birthday ⭐ the Staff Evangeline , Chloe and Dan were excellent! Funny and great service. thank you !

A delicious meal, beautifully presented. The menu selection offers a good range of choices. There was a lovely, relaxed and comfortable vibe in the restaurant with professional and friendly service from a great team; in particular, a cheerful welcome and great table service from Evangeline. Tired and dated decor

I had to stay close to William Harvey Hospital as I am having chemo and I felt we were treated very well by reception staff. Comfortable room and great to be able to have a bath.

Would have been even better if there were fridges in the rooms but it wasn't a big problem.

Dinner was good, staff friendly.

Room was “tired” some of the chairs in the dini g room looked dirty and could do with a refurbishment.
