Nightclub above was an unpleasant surprise. We had to put earplugs and night mask that covers the ears to not hear the music. Even with that you can feel the vibrations. Also parking prices are ridiculous but I assume it’s normal for that area of the city.

Modern hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and a great rooftop pool. Easy to get Ubers to the wider area such as Universal, Beverley Hills and the Getty Centre and a short walk to the main walk of fame area and subway which we used to go out to Santa Monica (nearly all overground on the subway). Good coffee shop (groundworks) within a couple of minutes walk for breakfast plus Mel’s diner for something bigger. Didn’t feel unsafe to walk around immediate area either.

The staff has zero hospitality skills. No friendliness. Everything they do for you seems like a chore. No eye contact or smiles or basic human to human skills.

Parkeren in het hotel is met 60usd ex tax erg duur. Om de hoek Parkeer je voor 20usd per nacht. Verder zijn er wel veel daklozen in de nabije omgeving, maar dat is in heel LA zo. Die daklozen vallen je overigens niet lastig.

Had such an amazing experience at Bar Lis thanks to our bartender Rob! Super hospitable, attentive, and really took the time to give us great recommendations. He even made us custom cocktails that were absolutely delicious and perfectly tailored to what we liked. On top of that, the location itself is stunning, fun ambiance with incredible views. Definitely a spot worth visiting for both the drinks and the experience!

Always a pleasure staying at Hollywood Grande, this time I’d like to particularly give kudos to Bridgette Joy (Front Desk) and Edwin (Bellman) were so helpful and attentive, they go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. It’s the little things like upon checking in, Bridgette asked what time I might need to be at work so she can get me in and out of the door (so thoughtful and mindful of time). She learned I intended to just drop off my bags and go and managed to get me checked in early to refresh, get my bags situated in the room before getting back to work! It was such a pleasure being welcomed by her hospitable energy, it is so appreciated! Thank you you two for the help!

We recently stayed at The Hollywood Grande Autograph Collection in Los Angeles for our anniversary, and the experience exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. What made the experience especially memorable was the incredible hospitality from the staff. Alyssa, Yasmin, and Jared went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated throughout our anniversary stay. They were warm, personable, attentive, and genuinely caring, and their service made a lasting impression on us. The entire staff created such a welcoming atmosphere that we immediately felt comfortable and valued as guests. The location of the hotel is also perfect for exploring Los Angeles. Everything felt conveniently accessible, and the overall atmosphere of the property was stylish and vibrant without feeling overwhelming. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting the rooftop restaurant and lounge. The cocktails were excellent, the ambiance was sophisticated and lively, and the views from the rooftop were absolutely stunning — especially in the evening. It really added something special to our anniversary trip. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. We stayed a couple of floors below the rooftop restaurant, which worked out well because the rooftop can get a bit lively and noisy at night, but overall the service, amenities, and overall experience were truly top-notch. This hotel is in a great location for accessing both Hollywood and Sunset Blvds. If you wish to explore further, than the Metro line and buses are close on hand. Other positives for the Grande are it's cleanliness, friendly welcoming and helpful reception staff, nice bar areas and a great rooftop pool. And the Hollywood sign can be seen from the rooftop also. The room we had on the fourth floor was of good size with a nice bed. Our cleaner, Kenya, made up the room everyday to a good standard. Now the drawbacks. First the safe wouldn't lock so we had to have a new one installed. There was no iron and no fridge. But worse was we had to keep the curtains shut because of the way the hotel is built as a square with a open area in the middle, all inside rooms can look into each other when lit up. There is also a club next door which is active at night. I actually had to buy earplugs to get some sleep but my wife wasn't disturbed by it at all. Overall a good stay but just came up short of 5 star

I got an upgrade to the terrace room which is amazingly spacious with a bright sunlit terrace, just the right way to enjoy LA. The rooftop is absolutely gorgeous and the Bonvoy Elites breakfast is also yummy. Hotel staff are attentive and friendly, shout out to Cristina who made my room tidy, clean, and comfortable.

By far one of the best LA hotels I’ve experienced to date. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I am more than satisfied with the service we received. My team was also extremely satisfied with their stay as well.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great location and genuinely friendly staff. Bridgette, in particular, went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and appreciated as a Bonvoy member throughout my four-day stay—she truly made a lasting impression and deserves recognition for her exceptional service. One concern I had was with the bar service. On multiple occasions, bartenders verbally repeated my room number out loud when closing my tab. Unfortunately, I had an uncomfortable experience as a result, and it could have escalated further. For guest safety and privacy, I strongly recommend implementing a more discreet method of verifying room charges rather than announcing room numbers publicly. Another area for improvement would be the dining experience. While the restaurants are visually distinct, the menus and drink offerings felt very repetitive. As someone who values variety—both as a guest and a travel advisor—I would love to see more diversity in the food and beverage options across the property. Overall, I did enjoy my stay. The front desk service, especially, would bring me back. However, the limited dining variety would likely encourage me to explore other options in the future.

My flight was delayed due to the TSA shut down and when I arrived the hotel had canceled my reservation by giving away my room YET still charged me for it leaving me w/ no hotel room that I paid for. Not kind, not helpful, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

The location in Hollywood was excellent, and the staff provided excellent customer service. There were so many amazing places to eat that we really didn't need to leave the neighborhood.

Tried to charge (much more than I had already paid) me for room after I already paid online. Had to show receipt multiple times. Ordered room service and the “delivery fee” and “resort fee” amongst others were three times greater than the item I ordered. Ordered door dash twice; first time they said “must be stolen” second time they could not find it again. After 45min finally located it. It had been placed in a fridge which was nice. Woke up to no alarm but an un-uniformed person saying to get out there’s a fire. Didn’t believe them at first as zero alarms going off. Got up went down the stairs with zero order or direction from anyone. Random masses outside where it had turned into a nightclub? No one dating it was safe to go inside or anything. Saw a huge line of dressed up people entering the hotel as a nightclub. Convinced the bouncer I was a guest and went back inside to a fire extinguisher smell. Went up to the pool before checkout and found they digitally re-key the doors well in advance of checkout. Had to go back down where they with attitude let me go back to my room and collect my baggage before the actual checkout time. I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world and the was by far the worst experience I’ve encountered. There is a very obvious feeling of extracting the most from guests while providing less than the minimum. I’m going back to the Chateau Marmont next time I’m in town.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We were expecting something much more basic. The location is perfect: a relaxed 10-minute walk to the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard and about the same to the nearest metro station. The condition of the hotel and the room was flawless. Even the corners of the shower were spotless, with no traces of rust. An unexpected highlight was a fully floor-to-ceiling glass wall with a view of the Hollywood sign. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Brigette Joy was especially lovely. During check-in, she told us about all nearby venues and attractions and also offered free tickets to a nearby nightclub and a few other venues (I don’t remember exactly which ones). I assume this was a standard hotel partnership with local businesses, but (a) it was nice, and (b) the hotel managers did a great job making the effort. We didn’t end up using the offers, though — we’re the kind of travelers who plan everything down to the hour, with all tickets bought in advance and restaurant reservations already made.

The hotel amenities itself were ok, however mainly liked the location being close to things in Hollywood.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel due to what I can only describe as dishonest and deceptive billing. I booked through the Booking.com app and received a confirmation email that clearly outlined all charges, including a “destination fee” and tax. Everything appeared transparent, until I arrived. At check-in, the hotel attempted to charge me again for the full cost of my stay, despite me already having paid in full. Then, upon checkout, they charged my card for the destination fee, even though it was already included and paid for in the original booking. It’s now been over three weeks and I’m still trying to recover the incorrect charges. Their customer service and refund process are unhelpful and frustrating, making it feel nearly impossible to resolve. This place knows exactly what they’re doing. It’s a scammy, predatory setup preying on travelers who assume they’re dealing with a reputable business. Be extremely cautious if you plan to stay here, or better yet, avoid it altogether.

From the moment we stepped out of the cab, our experience at The Hollywood Grande hotel was incomparable. We arrived around 9 or 10 am and went to the desk to ask if we could keep our luggage there until check in at 4pm. The beautiful young lady with the coolest glasses ever told us they had a room ready and that we could check in early! Then we met the front desk manager, David Hall. David made us feel like celebrities. He gave us tips and tricks for a successful trip in LA, ALWAYS made himself available, and treated us like he’d known us forever. Once we got to our room, the wonderful experience kept experiencing, lol! From the glass closet, to the stocked wet bar, the spacious bathroom and shower, the super comfy king bed—everything was perfect and extremely clean. The entire staff is top notch. The atmosphere is inviting with the gorgeous lobby, bar, rooftop restaurant, and beautiful pool with an amazing view of the city. We got our money’s worth and then some! We will stay here every time we’re in LA. We flew into Long Beach and it was worth the 45 minute cab ride. Thank you, David, and staff for an unforgettable experience!

We had such a great time at the Hollywood Grande! Right when we checked in, Bridgette hooked us up with an amazing suite upgrade—floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city and the Hollywood sign. Pretty sweet way to start the trip! The whole vibe of this place is just cool. They've nailed the mid-century look with really fun furniture, and there's this awesome bookshelf wall between the bedroom and living room that we kind of geeked out over. We totally dug the fashion and design books on the shelves—perfect for flipping through and getting inspired. Even though it was rainy, we hit up the rooftop pool and loved swimming in the hot water while it was cold and drizzly. Honestly, it was kind of magical! We also loved breakfast at Bar Lis (free for us with Platinum status, score!). Good food and a relaxed atmosphere to fuel up for the day. Big props to Jarod the bellman, who was super helpful and genuinely nice. He showed us around different room options and made sure we had everything we needed. Really appreciated his warmth and patience. Oh, and the free evening charcuterie and drinks in the bar? Yes please! Such a fun perk and a great excuse to hang out and unwind. Bottom line: Hollywood Grande is a blast. Great energy, thoughtful touches, and genuinely friendly staff. We're already planning our next visit!

Location of Hotel is excellent, nice and quiet neighborhood with very good connectivity. Rooms furniture is new. Destination fee is a little downside whis is 35$+ per day. Cleaning staff is very good with there job. Kenya did it for us on our stay.

We stayed here on our last night in LA and it was exactly what we wanted — modern, relaxed, and lively. The hotel is relatively new and everything felt fresh and well-kept. The rooftop bar has a clear city view and at night it becomes a real social scene. Every staff interaction was warm and professional. Bridget checked us in with genuine enthusiasm and made the arrival feel personal.

We had an excellent stay at the Hollywood Grande. Our corner room had a spectacular view and the room itself was one of the best rooms I've stayed in. Loved the layout, the comfortable bed, the nice bathroom, and the swiveling TV. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Bridgette joy. There is a rooftop bar which is lively from Tuesdays to Saturdays night, and a wine / charcuterie hour from 5:00p to 6:00 p.m.

The room was comfortable and stylish and the whole stay overall was wonderful and amazing! Great location to the Fonda Theatre which is where we saw concert. Would highly recommend and we will be back!
