Lovely staff. Very accommodating.

The first room we were put in had a sort of sheer curtain that obscured the bathroom from the rest of the room which was a little off putting. Staff very quickly changed our room. No questions asked. Valet was $65 on top of cost of room.

Located near our venue visit.

The aesthetic of the property is just so beautiful I love everything about it!

Que estas obligado a consumir en el hotel la comida, desayuno o cena porque si no los gastas pierdes 25 dólares diarios que te da el hotel al dejar el depósito y eso nunca lo había visto antes en ningún hotel.

Le personnel est adorable, nous avions un bébé et le nécessaire a été fait immédiatement pour que nous ayons une chambre au calme. La chambre est super, jolie, spacieuse et confortable avec tout le nécessaire. L’hôtel est bien situé pour faire le côté West Hollywood mais la rue est remplie de boîtes de nuit.

Manque d’un petit déjeuner avec buffet et le valet est hors de prix. Heureusement il y a un parking publique à côté qui est bien plus abordable.

Our drive to LA went well, and the location was close to Hollywood Boulevard, shops, and entertainment.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standards expected of a property of this caliber. From the moment we arrived, it became clear that cleanliness, maintenance, guest comfort, and overall customer satisfaction were not priorities. The most serious issue was the condition of our original room. Upon entering and spending time in the room, we discovered evidence of a significant cleanliness problem, including roaches and what appeared to be rat droppings. Finding pests and rodent waste in a guest room is completely unacceptable. It raises serious concerns about the property's housekeeping standards, sanitation procedures, and overall commitment to guest health and safety. After reporting these issues to hotel staff, we were moved to another room. While I appreciate that management took action and relocated us, the replacement room was hardly an improvement. The room was noticeably dirty, with visible signs of neglect and poor housekeeping. In addition, much of the furniture appeared worn, damaged, and in need of replacement. The beds were uncomfortable and showed clear signs of age and deterioration, making it difficult to get a restful night's sleep, and the marijuana smell throughout. Another major concern was the excessive noise throughout the property. The noise level was terrible day and night, creating an environment that was anything but relaxing. Whether coming from neighboring rooms, hallways, or outside activity, the constant disturbance significantly impacted our ability to enjoy our stay and get adequate rest. To make matters worse, the hotel's parking fees were outrageously expensive. Charging guests $150 per day for parking is excessive and difficult to justify, particularly given the poor condition of the accommodations and the overall quality of the experience. Guests paying premium rates expect premium service, cleanliness, and comfort, none of which were delivered during our stay.

Albergo modernissimo, pulito, camere spaziose, benvenuto con un calice di vino, camera con caffè Nespresso e acqua tutti i giorni. All'ultimo piano (10o piano) è presente un roof top bar con vista molto bella, piscina liberamente utilizzabile dagli ospiti e lettini separati per permettere, a chi lo desidera, di mantenere la privacy. Il roof top bar è aperto dalla mattina alla sera con possibilità di fare colazione, pranzare e cenare fino a sera e successivamente bere con vista sulla città. Veramente stupendo. I ragazzi alla reception sono disponibili e molto gentili. Ho letto, da alcune recensioni, che sotto c'è un locale dove si balla fino alle 2 di notte. Premetto che non ci siamo andati ma fuori c'era la fila per cui immagino sia un locale in voga in questa zona. A noi non ha dato fastidio ma in camera, sui comodini, trovate tappi per le orecchie. Insomma, in questo hotel fanno di tutto per farvi stare bene e, per quanto ci riguarda, ci sono proprio riusciti!!!

Great location just behind Hollywood Boulevard. We given credit to spend in the hotel which was a welcome surprise! The hotel has 2 great bars, a lovely rooftop bar with pool serving food. And a lobby bar. Really nice staff very welcoming! The room was modern and with a large shower and comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and bars!

Very convenient to the Blue Note Jazz club 2 blocks away. Great vibe. Nice rooftop pool and dining area. Beds are very comfortable. Very modern and visually interesting. This is our second staycation here. We’ll be back.

Hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Hotel is located in a pretty central location, very easy to get ride shares. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance.

The location is right by a nightclub so Friday and Saturday nights were a little loud.

L’hotel dispone davvero di tutti i comfort possibili. La camera è ampia e spaziosa, la doccia nel bagno è enorme e molto confortevole. Vista pazzesca sulle Hollywood Hills. La mattina abbiamo fatto colazione s rooftop ed è molto suggestivo. Servizio reception impeccabile.

The room was very clean and modern. Good location.

The shower situation was weird as there were three of us. A group of friends. There's a see-through shower in the middle of the room that is separate from the rest of the bathroom with a sheer curtain that you can pull, but kind of a weird layout for a group of friends. The room is definitely built for a couple. Or throuple.

Everything to be honest the location it was prefect. Wasn't to far for were we need to go to the Greek theater. The rooms were clean and nice had two bars a rooftop bar and Lounge Bar. Was really nice and clean. We well diffently be staying here again.

The parking situation they only have valet for $65 or you park on the street or find a public park. Other then that was good.

The lobby is welcoming. Staff were friendly and informative. I enjoyed the room size, comfortably of bed, and the shower was amazing. The club and bar option allow guest to party in their own hotel which was nice. The rooftop view is amazing. I loved seeing the hollywood sign.

It is advertised that I could have my car charged complimentary when using valet and they don't have a charger. I planned a lot of my trip around that and it was a hassle when plans had to change. The food and cocktails at the rooftop café were just ok. The large variety of other restaurants nearby with better options makes it easy to skip.

Location is convenient, lost of food and shopping nearby. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean and tidy upon arrival. Lobby was clean and accommodating.

Staff. Front desk, roof top bar, rooftop restaurant. Everyone there seemed so bothered by you asking them to literally do something in their scope of work. Front desk girls were awful, 3 different interactions with 3 different people. All of them were so bothered by me asking about room details, or getting some cash changed into smaller bills (which they don’t do by the way). At the rooftop I asked for some silverware. The girl played like I just asked her to borrow her car for the weekend. It was that big of an inconvenience. Almost 8 minutes later after standing awkwardly at the bar she goes “did you get your silverware?” As I stand there empty handed and dull eyed… “umm no, you never gave me any”. She then walked 5 feet to a drawer and retrieved them. Not sure why that couldn’t have been done in the first place… Don’t want to sound like a shrewd. But 3rd times the charm on getting a review out of me. If you’re gonna be a miserable staff member, maybe you should be in the back of the house, and not customer facing. Remember, you’re literally at work… being paid to take care of customers. Novelty idea huh?

Such a neat hotel and Jennelle is amazing and very accommodating!

Jennelle Director of Guest Services is an absolute superstar. After a minor “hiccup” Jenelle sorted everything for us. Jenelle was also fantastic with pre arrival assistance - nothing was ever a problem and she always responded very quickly with efficiency. On our last day I had some questions for Jennelle and she sorted those too without delay. Jennelle is an assist to the hotel and the greater Hyatt brand. We would also like to thank Andrew at the Dream Rooftop who looked after us at breakfast. He was incredibly friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our interactions with him. The location is fantastic with the action of Hollywood Boulervard around the corner and Sunset also close by. Heads up the pool area is lovely to catch sun but if you’re looking for a “deep pool” please know that this one is 3ft (1 metre) at its deepest point. We were in room 910 that has a small balcony which is great for fresh air and views up to the Hollywood Hills. Some people have mentioned noise but we didn’t experience this during our midweek stay. Oh and for those who love fine dining Tao is right next door.

I had to ask for a fridge to be installed as they didn’t come standard with the room. Also the pool wasn’t open for some reason which was disappointing.

THE DREAM HOTEL. What a fabulous stay. From the moment I came in I was greeted by the beautiful sweet autumn. She was a breath of fresh air. Traveling solo I get worried sometimes and she put everything at ease for me and gave me great recs. I felt safe and at home. Go to autumn at the front desk if u ever stay here. Thank you for the wonderful stay

Everything about being here was so nice! At check-in Autumn was super informative and helpful. The room was huge compared to other doubles. I didnt use the amenities this time around, but I saw them and they were great. The rooftop was a true LA vibe. The gym was huge (again compared to others I've been too). Even after check out, Cameron helped us with a critical food delivery issue and HE WAS ON THE CASE! I'm picky and service really matters, and theirs did not disappoint. Even Adrian the bartender was a connoisseur and taught me so much about alcohol. I will definitely come back here again!

Very expensive and no robes, no decafe coffee and cups with only powdered milk in rooms, no trash can in bathroom, view was the run down area, $65 for parking, no decafe coffee in restaurant or on ground floor at the coffee shop.

While our first time visit here was not great, whatever is happening now at Dreams Hollywood is a dramatic improvement, and we had a wonderful weekend getaway in the heart of Hollywood with our adult children. Originally this landed us at The Thompson which we also love, but it is not longer a part of the Hyatt family. This property is in a very centralized location and close to a lot of food and activities. We were here for a long weekend over Fathers Day to relax and visit our favorite restaurant Motherwolf. This time the staff went above and beyond and has completely turned our minds around on this place. Jennelle reached out ahead of time to let us know the pool would be closed for part of the day for a World Cup party which we appreciated. Then she helped out with some room confusion, but most of all, went out of her way to make sure our needs were heard and did her best to meet them. Then we had some future booking issues that Autumn and her team went above and beyond with corporate to resolve. Every time we ordered anything to our rooms, they made sure to deliver it promptly, and when we requested robes and a fridge, they brough it up without an issue. We did not have any billing issues and overall loved it and will return. The hotel is general is a great vibe for late 20's-mid 50's. I would not say it is an ideal place for small children or babies, but it would be great for older children given its location. The pool is small and slighly chilled, but a perfect place to hang in the afternoon before going out in the evening. We loved room 910 and are looking to come back and stay around Christmas because we had such a great time. We loved having even the small Juliette balcony as it gave us fresh air and was wonderful for people watching. As always we appreciate Hyatt for their linens, but we also appreciated that Jennelle and Autumn made sure we had blankets for me (I'm always cold), and lots of ice in our room. Their housekeeping also did an excellent job actually cleaning our room each day, swapping out sheets, emptying garbages, etc., instead of just tidying around and not really cleaning anything. This was one of the best housekeeping crews we have had at a chain property in a long time. They were wonderful!

Front desk was frequently only staffed by one person

One of the worst Hyatt experiences I have experienced. I am a Hyatt globalist and if you want a hotel where you can’t rest and want to hear every thump of the music from the bar above and club downstairs then this is the hotel for you. I was told to put in the earplugs if I wanted to drown out the music and noise. Was not offered late checkout or breakfast as a globalist. Was told by front desk that I was unlucky because on that particular night I stayed 6/10 Wednesday there was some special party going on and usually Wednesday nights are quieter. Another negative was that after I requested my car from valet and checked out from front desk. I walked outside of the hotel to find the valet texting/playing on the phone. Was told they were short staffed and would take a while to get while to get my car. After 15-20 min was then told someone had parked in front of the Valet gate blocked in all the cars and would not be able to get to my car until that car left. The whole ordeal took over 40 min before I got my car and I missed the meeting I was supposed to have. Would definitely not recommend wasting money at this hotel.

Nightclub is so loud I couldn’t sleep even on a Wednesday night. Ear plugs couldn’t even help the base was so loud as to be felt in bed

Hotel was great. Clean, front door security was exceptional, recognized me coming back in at 1;30 in the morning and jumped up to make sure door was open before I got there.

Had a great experience staying here. The woman at the front desk (think her name was Autumn) was very kind and helpful during our time there. I’d recommend to others.

This was my second stay and Autumn made sure our experience was a lot better. She checked us in early, clearly communicated the benefits that we didn’t know about last time, she placed us in a nice room. She’s a manager there and it shows that she cares about her guests.

This was our first time staying at this hotel and it did not disappoint! The room was clean, modern, and luxurious. Autumn made our stay exceptional and provided for a comforting experience at The Dream Hollywood. She was able to assist with any questions or concerns we had regarding our room. I will absolutely be visiting again and recommend this hotel to others!

I’ve been here a few times, it’s just so lovely! The rooftop / highlight room is always so peaceful, even though it was close this time for some event. Luxurious feel, AMAZING staff, and fun exiting views over Hollywood!

Rough area. Especially at night. Can get noisy late evening. The room I booked was a silver balcony city view. I’ll post a photo. Nothing like the photos or description on here or their site. I did complain and said all balcony rooms on the third floor! Supposed to be high floor! I was upgraded to 9th floor Small room hardly walk round the bed. Nowhere to hang towels. No proper cups to make drinks. No kettle. Very disappointing

A hotel to avoid! We stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon. The staff aren’t exactly the friendliest. The restaurant and breakfast service are a disaster: poor-quality food, excessively long waiting times, etc. There is a swimming pool and a bar, but they are mainly taken over by non-guests. We wanted to enjoy the pool but couldn’t even go there because some young people were having a party there. Great for hotel guests. Our toilet wasn’t working properly; it was constantly running and the door didn’t block out the noise. Checking out of the hotel went terribly wrong. We were verbally abused and threatened by the receptionist. We raised the issue with management, who supposedly take it very seriously but never took the time to apologise for the awful stay. What’s more, we’ve now discovered that they’ve decided to withhold money from our deposit without any explanation… Disgraceful, avoid at all costs!

Loved the vibe of the hotel, amazing views overlooking Hollywood. Hotel room was very clean. And food at the restaurant upstairs was delicious.

This is a party hotel. We have stayed here for three nights and there is constant deep base music every single night. The name should not be “dream” because you would need to be able to sleep to make that happen.

It had a very comfortable bed and the room was a nice corner balcony. Don't plan on a quiet trip for the weekend here with the club right next door but it didn't bother us.

Paper cups in the room. Should be China mugs so you can reuse them.

The rooms were new and clean. A la cart breakfast at the roof was good.

The rooms could be more travel friendly e.g. luggage rack. Even though the rooptop had amazing view it closed at 7 pm.

Nos já fazemos a reserva pelo booking o que garante o preço, já temos o cartão de crédito vinculado na reserva, e ainda assim pedem mais um pagamento de segurança que depois tem toda uma burocracia para ser estornado. Não vejo necessidade nisso. Mas se forem fazer isso que seja através da plataforma onde foi feito a reserva.

Location was perfect for what we needed, the room was comfortable but missing a desk which we needed, It was very bright at night, so would recommend improving on the shutters. Noise level was acceptable because we were at end of hallway facing the Hollywood sign, service was really good with the exception of the check-in, the employee failed to tell us about the 25 daily credit. Amenities were good, gym was excellent, much better than any other hotel gym. restaurant on rooftop was good, shame it only serves breakfast and dinner.
