easyHotel Cardiff

friendly staff, who allowed a complimentry late check out, and luggage storage free of charge. Location was good. Bed very comfortable, close to train station, only half hour walk to Cardiff Bay

room was very small, no kettle to make hot drink, no glass in the bathroom, or anywhere else in the room, if a drink was needed in the night had to pay over the odds and use the vending machine, room was very warm and couldnt turn the thermostat down to cool temperature, only supplied with one bath towel, me and partner had to share.

Locatoln, staff and price.

Only 1 towel for 2 adults. No tea or coffee in room.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room. Perfect for my stay, but equally would have been happy to stay longer. Really pleasant surprise to have a tv, a well-sized room, nice amenities and more! Must say a special thank you to Ryan who had such a welcoming energy and went above and beyond to help answer my questions and make my stay comfortable. He's a perfect person for this customer-facing role and really took my stay to the next level!

N/A - all great!

Estilo funcional. Cama muy cómoda. Instalaciones modernas.

Staff were really friendly, perfect location, clean rooms with comfortable beds.

Basic room but very cheap. Clean and friendly check in. Clean bed and towels and shower was good.

Room is small but was a solo traveller and it was all I needed and very cheap for the night.

The rooms were basics, but very clean and comfortable.

Nothing, everything was fine.

Not much. The room was clean, but tiny.

I could barely move around the double bed. I paid way above the odds for the room, as the company uses an algorithm to raise prices at times of peak demand. This is not OK. Customers get frustrated, but it's not the fault of staff, who are very friendly and helpful. It's the fault of central management of this company.

Very friendly staff. Perfect stay considering the price

This hotel is EASY - all you need, no frills, clean, convenient. Whenever I want somewhere to stay, between Cardiff's many atteactions, this place is perfect.

Nothing.

Clean and good location

Absolutely stunning , fantastic price , highly recommend and the two ladies at reception were so lovely , one lady remembered me from last time , you feel special there and had a wonderful glass window front in the room , 5 *

So close to the centre! It was simple and a bed to sleep in- better bathroom than expected.

Could do with a few extras such as kettle tea coffee etc but they did have a coffee machine downstairs.

Cleanliness. Price! Simple ( no amenities which we expected) and exactly what we needed for a one night stay (a comfortable bed and a shower). Staff were very kind. Air conditioning worked perfect.

Nothing.

Bequeme Betten, nettes Personal, gute Lage

The Polish receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

A small table in the room, would have been helpful.

Hotel felt secure with card key access required from to the lift, then at the floor and again to enter the room. The room was clean and good value.

Small room with limited storage for clothes.

Nice and quiet with friendly staff

Would have liked a cafe/bar or tea and coffee facilities in room

Staff well professional

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent and very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always happy to help. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well looked after. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay here again.

The only thing we felt was missing was a small table and chairs in the room where we could sit and have a meal. A little more storage space for clothes would also have been helpful.

Very good 👍😊

Very good 👍😊

The mattress was broken on one side and could feel the springs all night bad nights sleep.

Location and organisation is great

Lack of parking. Providing to make tea would be of added value

It was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. A great location too

Shame there was no bar or eating area next to it

Great price and location. Room was clean and staff polite.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room

The location is not in the city it’s 18 mins away not with money and disappointed walking that far for amount of money paid rooms very small

It was extremely clean and tidy for a budget hotel.

Wasn't disappointed with anything.

Distance from our venue, train station and city centre Friendly staff and excellent cleanliness, air con and free wifi

Even though we had Aircon I personally would have like to be able to open the window

Very clean and quiet Location was great

I have booked a small double room ( two customers) but we have had just one bath towel , it was not good enough for us

Everything it was amazing! Big room

Nothing it’s was spotless

Good location

Advertised as a double bed but is not. It’s a small double which is too small for two adults.

The staff was very helpful, easy checking Bed was very comfortable, room was a little small for a double

House keeping knocking the door one hour before we was ment to check out, which I haven't had before anywhere else

The location and facilities were perfect for our one night over, trip to Cardiff for my partner's Birthday. Vending machines in the hotel offered quick energy boosters hassle free, the 24 hour reception made it easy to ask questions and learn about the other facilities near by. Staff were amazing throughout stay. We'll definitely book with easy hotel again for future Cardiff trips.

The only need I had that couldn't be made was a laundry room but this wasn't really an issue as theres a launderette nearby the hotel which the hotel staff kindly gave us the location for so we could use it.

Clean, reasonable prices and nice staff

Nothing

I really liked the location of the property just down the road from the town center

I have no complaints about the property

Super clean, shower good, reception staff were really lovely, comfy beds and 10 mins walk into city centre. Close to shop for breakfast.

Nothing. Exceeded expectations!

The closeness to city centre

Could not open window no fresh air had to use air conditioning

Helpful and friendly staff

No microwave facilities for babies

Clean, comfortable, quiet, cool - great AC

Room was basic so wouldn’t want to spend an evening in it - but it was £50 so that was ok.

Just nice for price.

It was a great experience and very polite staff.. I greatly enjoyed my stay.

We selected five twin rooms and they each came with comfy beds, very nice bathrooms and clean rooms. Bathroom was freshly cleaned and beds had fresh sheets and clean. Had good mirrors too.

Wasn't enough room in each room. To have two people in that room was hard and barely any space to put our bags and hand luggage. Would have been nice with even more room and space to walk about. Felt a little tight.

Ryan I believe was his name. Great guy Air conditioning fantastic Bed comfortable Just the job

Staff were friendly. An enjoyable experience

Room could of been a little bigger. But still a nice room.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, tv easy to use, easy temperature control, enough soap and shower gel.

Only thing is that we could have done with hooks and rails on the wall to hang stuff like coats, towels and clothes (the 2 hangers were useful but not enough for everything we needed to hang, stuff ended up on the floor).

Location was good ,close to all the attractions that we wanted to visit.Even though the hotel is located on a busy road, rooms were very quiet.. Clean and modern rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.

Don't think anything needs to be better. This is a great budget hotel for a short city break.

Convient friendly

Price jacked up high Saturday before big match

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The shower was decent

The room was absolutely tiny, with very little in the way of storage to unpack anything. No tea and coffee making facilities. No hand towels, even when we asked at reception. Cleanliness was adequate

Good central location, nice staff, quick check in, clean room simple with what you need for a couple nights stay

Internet didn’t work on the TV

location is ideal for the city center. Bed was very comfortable. Toilet and shower facilities clean and good.

A few small items would make large difference, for example drinking cup, toilet brush and a chair,

nahe am Zentrum, hat alles was man braucht

Comfy bed, great shower, clean and quiet.

Would of liked tea/coffee in room, but as a place to sleep was great.

Clean and nice staff room had air-conditioning beds comfy

A little bit more room. I'm only small a larger person would find it tight fit

Very clean, lovely friendly staff and good location

No coffee/ tea facilities. The only machine was on the ground floor. Perhaps one on each floor would be better if you can’t put it in each room

Ideal place good value for money staff friendly and room clean

Nothing

Nice and clean and comfy beds a budget hotel but good

A bit too far from Railway station

Location

Room size and lack of wardrobe and table

The few staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was without desk and chair.

Once again an amazing stay here! This has very quickly become my go to while I visit Cardiff over the next few weeks!

Window didn’t open

Everything was great! Reception team was lovely! However , i’ve been told that checking out time was 11am, but around 9ish in the morning (when i was still asleep), had cleaning lady coming into my room and then after seeing me in my bed she left and just apologised. Then around half 10 had a knock on the door and when i opened, there was another (or maybe the same one) cleaning lady asking me when i’m gonna leave the room. Was quite annoying

Too small

The staff were so lovely and friendly and helpful and the room was basic but clean. WIFI was strong. Checkin /checkout process was smooth. But for the price you are paying, with no parking, and it being in quite an odd/dodgy area albeit one very central, I don't think the price is that cheap for what is essentially a budget experience.

I was travelling by car and didn't realise there was no parking (my own mistake). I had left it too late to cancel, and could have found somewhere else a little further out with parking that was cheaper and had much better facilities. I appreciate the EasyHotel's 'no frills' approach and so did not necessarily expect and iron and hairdryer and tea & coffee facilities etc, but it took basic to the next level.... no cups to drink from! There's also no bar onsite. I went downstairs to ask for a paper cup and was waiting 10 minutes before anyone appeared as it was late at night. (There wasn't even the option to buy a bottle of water from a vending machine). I thought I was going to have to drink from the tap to take medication and then thought I'd be thirsty all night. There was a bathmat and a single towel - no hand towel - and literally nowhere in which to hang up a towel other than trying to throw it over the top of a door/shower. The towel was thus extremely soggy on the second day. Only space for two hooks in the wardrobe. Quite impractical if you are staying for more than a night or two. I'd much rather have a kettle and a handtowel and something to drink from than a TV but appreciate this is more catered to whistle-stop stays.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, cozy and had a/c for the hottest days.

The location was a bit of a walk from the central streets and smoke wafted into my room from people smoking outside the hotel.

Good location, clean and friendly staff.

Was very basic but that goes with cost. Cuppa in the morning would have been nice.

Comfortable Bed. Fantastic AirCon.

Poor shower pressure.

Good location and staff extremely friendly

No drinking facilities

NOTHING

NO TV NO WIFI . SMELLY AND ITS GOT IMMIGRATS IN. DONT STAY.

Het was netjes

De kamer was zeer klein

Cheap and good location

Clean bed. Nice shower. Staff so friendly.

All was great

Staff, location

Room was tiny, very claustrophobic

Friendly staff and comfortable beds

Need a small table.

Habitació molt petita , erem 2 i només hi havia 1 tovallola

Great location. Friendly staff.

Didn’t realise the rooms were so small but understandably with the price

NOTHING

NO TV NO WIFI . SMELLY AND ITS GOT IMMIGRATS IN. DONT STAY.

I stayed here on Monday, and I've already booked to return next Monday. I'm visiting Cardiff for a competition I'm taking part in, and this hotel is a prime location in the city centre. My room had exactly everything I needed. After the competition I will definitely be booking again for a longer visit.

Nothing

Everything, the lack of anything in the room, the horrible disabled toilet/bathroom,the room being as hot as a Furness.

There's just what you need. A room with bed and bathroom. Noting more, nothing less. Clean and without any amenity. Easy Hotel is a bargain for what you pay.

Add some water to the drink dispensers available for guests.
