I had an unforgettable stay at Ocean Bay Resort! The setting is beautiful, and the incredible hospitality truly made my trip exceptional. A special thank you to Hue and her entire team—their dedication, support, and flawless attention to detail ensured my stay was completely seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. I felt so warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for throughout my stay. I also want to give a major shoutout to the Bamboo Spa staff. Their treatments were deeply relaxing, and their gentle, professional care made every visit a total highlight of my stay. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with world-class hospitality, look no further.

While my stay was wonderful overall, the noise isolation could be improved: you can hear neighbouring rooms, as well as dogs barking at night. Ocean Bay Resort's team addressed my concerns immediately when we brought them up. Unfortunately, there was only so much they could do for an inconsiderate neighbour who moved furnitures around at 3am.

Service und Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück super von jedem etwas dabei. Transfer zum oder vom Flughafen kostenlos. Wenn man Probleme hatte wurden diese gleich bearbeitet und sich darum gekümmert. Alles vorhanden, Regenschirm, Latschen, Strandtasche, Kaffee und Tee ,jeden Tag wurde auch Wasser aufgefüllt.

Im Zimmer hat es rein getropft( an 3 Stellen) an den Bungalows müsste mal etwas gemacht werden. Bei einem 5 Sterne Haus fehlte auch ein richtiger Schrank für 2 Personen. Wir mussten leider aus dem Koffer leben. Im Restaurant oder an den Bars die Preise etwas überteuert. Man kann aber Happy Hour nutzen.

Это был великолепный отдых! Первое что стоит отметить это персонал. С первым минут приезда ты можешь расслабиться и наслаждаться, все остальное на тебя сделают сотрудники этого отеля. Это тот редкий случай, когда за 8 дней у нас не возникло ни одной претензии к сервису и инфраструктуре. Так же стоит отметить отличное расположение отеля. Номер с видом на море это просто восхитительно. Пальмы, пляж, бассейн, закаты, ресторан над водой и все это за относительно не большие деньги. Госпожа Hue, всегда была на связи и решала наши вопросы еще до того, как они у нас возникали) В общем сейчас продолжаем свой отдых в другой стране, по уже скучаем за Ocean Bay и его командой. Спасибо, обязательно вернемся!

Great rooms quiet nice , ac needs a bit work gets hot fast but otherwise amazing place to stay at resort vibes beach amenities all great.

The resort was great in terms of facility, hospitality, location. It boats being a beach side property in its truest sense. Once you checkin you can relax and just chill at the resort. So in that way it’s really great.

There were way too many Gecko’s. If you are averse to reptiles this place is not for you. A lizard fell on our head when we opened balconies door and had to call the reception for removing them atleast once in a day. Just made it a bit challenging to freely walk around n enjoy our room.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Kenny truly saved our trip by giving us excellent tips for hikes and beaches — especially valuable since the resort's beach has been closed due to bad weather since August. The hotel itself is good, but it's starting to look a bit dated and has lost some of that five-star shine. I'm sure it was a breathtaking property in its heyday, and it may well be a victim of its own success. On a brighter note, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the food at the restaurant was tasty, with vegan options and attentive staff ready to cater to your every need. Overall, the resort is very beautiful and tastefully decorated — a wonderful stay despite a few signs of age.

The beach was closed, but the resort failed to inform us upfront. The villas could use a bit of maintenance, as they are getting old — but still, I would definitely go back.

The people working there make your stay very comfortable, which is awesome. Specially because of Hue Nguyen. We also had dinner at the Ocean Bar & Grill restaurant during sunset, which was a wonderful experience. There the friendly waiter Nhuc Qui made sure we had everything we needed. He also made us laugh. Furthermore, the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how warm, attentive, and genuinely kind everyone was. The service was exceptional—true five-star Vietnamese hospitality. The staff seemed to anticipate what we needed and always made us feel welcomed and well taken care of without ever being intrusive. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, with a peaceful tropical setting right by the sea. The entire property has a natural, romantic charm that makes you immediately feel like you’re on vacation. Our room was beautiful, clean, neat, and very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the food. Having a delicious meal by the sea, surrounded by the beautiful scenery and ocean breeze, was one of those simple experiences that made our stay even more memorable. What made Ocean Bay especially special was the combination of the beautiful property, great food, and wonderful people. You can stay at many beautiful resorts, but exceptional hospitality is what makes a place memorable—and the staff here truly delivered that. Ocean Bay was one of the highlights of our time in Phu Quoc. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, romantic resort with outstanding Vietnamese hospitality.

They allow you to swim in the ocean

Schöne Bunglows und toller, großer Pool mit wunderschönem Blick. Auch ein fantastischer Strand und wahnsinniges Frühstücksbuffet. Caddies fahren die Strecke zum anderen Hotelbereich.

Recht hohe Preise für Essen und Spa. Strandrestaurant ist schön, aber es wird zu viel fotografiert von Touris. Auf Anfragen wird spät reagiert an der Rezeption. Bad nicht immer ordentlich geputzt und einige unordentliche Ecken um die Bungalows herum.

Nothing... everything was perfect.

This is a truly stunning resort and slice of beach paradise oasis that’s only 15-20 mins from centre with night markets etc. The private beach is spectacular nestled between 2 beautifully landscaped and constructed infinity pools both distinctly different. But what really makes the Ocean Bay Resort is the wonderful staff, especially Hue Nguyen, who from the moment we arrived at the ferry port (when she organised a free transfer to the hotel for us within minutes even though they only really cover transfers from airport) to the moment we left- Hue is genuinely a one in a million superstar and it’s no exaggeration to say we left feeling we’ve made a good friend rather than just dealing with a hotel employee doing their job. Thank you Hue! The rest of the staff are also fantastic, friendly and go out of their way to not just help but brighten up every aspect of your day while you’re their guest.

The main beachfront restaurant, whilst stunningly located, was a little overcrowded, chaotic and overpriced for us and the lifeguard on the beach was a bit too overzealous blowing his whistle at everyone when in the sea - it was during rainy season so some days it was a little choppy but nothing extreme and it’s a very shallow beach yet grown adults were getting whistled at repeatedly when standing knee high in the water as if they were kids breaking all the rules in a local public pool!

Ocean Bay jsme si opravdu moc užili a rozhodně můžeme doporučit. Nejvíce bych chtěl vyzdvihnout Mr. Oceana, který byl naprosto skvělý. Velmi ochotně nám pomáhal i mimo svou pracovní dobu – když jsme potřebovali něco zařídit, neváhal zavolat tam, kam bylo potřeba, a udělal maximum pro to, aby nám pomohl. Jeho přístup byl opravdu nadstandardní a bylo vidět, že mu na hostech skutečně záleží. Velkým plusem je také samotný resort. Ocean Bay má nádherné zázemí a jedinečný vzhled, který krásně propojuje přírodu s architekturou. Dřevo, přírodní kámen, tropická zeleň, bungalovy a krásná pláž vytvářejí velmi příjemnou a klidnou atmosféru. Resort nepůsobí jako klasický velký hotel, ale spíše jako součást okolní přírody, což se nám na něm líbilo asi nejvíce. Také Hue byla velmi milá, ochotná a vždy příjemná. Celkově jsme byli s pobytem velmi spokojení. Pokud hledáte místo, kde si chcete opravdu odpočinout, užít si krásné prostředí a být obklopeni přírodou, Ocean Bay určitě doporučujeme. 10/10 a rádi se někdy vrátíme! ❤️

È in generale una bella struttura immersa nel verde e staff molto gentile e disponibile. Ottima colazione.

Prezzo eccessivo per quello che offre. La pulizia quotidiana della camera scarsa, mai un cambio di lenzuola in una settimana. Grande vasca da bagno ma non assistita da un impianto adeguato per poterla riempire.

The location on the beach front is incredible and the views from the beach front accommodation are amazing.

We would say the hotel does not give you a full 5 star treatment that is suggested online. The room is beautiful but very damp. The on site restaurant food is priced outrageously and the food is average at best. The bar charges 3/4 times anywhere else I have been in Vietnam for drinks. The gym is not fit for a 5 star hotel (and this was something we booked with using in mind). Whilst it is no fault of the hotel, all the staff knew that the sea was going to be rough all week. And therefore all the activities cannot be used. According to staff, this happens on this side of the island during this season. I would not stay here again as the expectations of the hotel were not met.

The property is very nice and luxurious. The SPA is really good and breakfast is enormous.

The restaurant is very pricy and the quality of food is rather bad. The SPA is ridiculously overpriced compared to other places nearby. The restaurant and bar staff are not very nice, while I found the reception staff super friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Bay Resort. The employers were very friendly and helpful. We even had a special request of trying local fruits and the hotel organised us fruits from the local market! Definitely coming back!

The air conditioner was leaking water every sometimes. But it was okay.

We stayed for 2 nights in a beautiful beachfront bungalow and had an amazing experience. The beach and swimming pool offered breathtaking views, making our holiday even more special. The staff were outstanding. Everyone, from the drivers to the receptionists, was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. A special thanks to the receptionist who helped buy me a pair of swimming trunks after I realized I had forgotten mine. If I ever come back, I promise to return them! 😄

The location is right by the sea in a lush tropical forest, it's very relaxing. The response of Ms. Hue and the staff to some little problems in the rooms was truly exceptional, any request was handled quickly and professionally. Good breakfast and nice pools as well in the common area. Would definitely come back if the occasion arises.

Nothing in particular, it is worth noticing you will be living in a tropical forest by the sea, which means there are also some animals, butterflies, geki, a few mosquitos, which is natural in the environment. Nothing that could disturb us.

Instead of setting up a safe swimming area with floating buoys and having a few active lifeguards, they chose the easier solution: one person with a whistle preventing anyone from entering the water whenever there were waves. It was frustrating because he wouldn’t even allow guests to step into water that was only about 20 cm deep.

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing vacation at the property. A lot of great things to say: Room was spacious to our standards, loved the use of wooden furnishings pretty much everywhere. Bed was super comfortable, great location as it's in the quieter areas of Phu Quoc but still accessible to Duong Dong (15 mins by Grab). Great spread of breakfast food, especially loved the soup noodles bar. Free shuttle to and from the airport which was helpful. The highlight has to be the staff, they were all extremely responsive, kind, helpful and attend to our needs immediately. The service was consistent throughout whether it is the front desk, breakfast restaurant, poolside bar, housekeeping staff etc. Special thank you to Ms Hue Nguyen for your attentiveness to our request and enquiries.

Soundproofing was not great as we can hear rainfall and the buggies in and out especially since our bungalow is located near to the front, but understandable due to the wooden furnishings. Problem was solved immediately when we asked for earplugs from the front desk so wasn't a huge issue. Minor things need to be replaced e.g our hairdryer was very old, cushion at the foot of the bed looks a bit worn out.

Ocean Bay Resort & Spa is not the usual hotel: it is a high-level property, architecturally designed down to the smallest details. The use of natural materials is remarkable — beautiful stone sinks and bathtubs, fine wood, mosquito nets and carefully designed spaces that create a truly special atmosphere. The resort is located in Ong Lang, a peaceful area of Phú Quốc. In August, the sea directly in front of the resort is affected by the monsoon, but this is not a major issue if you are looking for a relaxing stay: the beautiful, calm and crystal-clear waters of Sao Beach and Khem Beach are only about 25 km away. What really impressed us, however, was the staff. They are exceptionally attentive to guests' needs and remarkably quick in responding to any request. When we arrived, the air conditioning in our villa was not cooling sufficiently. We called Reception at 2:00 AM and, literally two minutes later, a member of the team arrived and recharged the system. This is what I call service. We experienced a few technical issues during our stay, but the way they were handled was exemplary. Hue, from the Administration/Guest Relations Team, proved to be extremely professional, competent and genuinely attentive to the guest. In addition to resolving the issues, the team offered us an upgrade to a villa at Grand Ocean Bay Resort with a private pool. That was their way of apologising and taking care of us. Impeccable. Highly recommended!

Nous sommes vraiment ravis de notre séjour dans cet Hôtel qui a été le meilleur que nous avons fréquenté lors de notre séjour au Vietnam (sur 4 hôtel). C’est un endroit bordé de nature, la literie est confortable, les SDB sont géniales, le petit déjeuner est varié et de bonne qualité et le personnel est génial. La piscine en front de mer offre un cadre reposant. Nous recommandons le séjour sans hésiter et n’hésiterons pas à revenir. Nous avons eu Hué pour interlocutrice qui s’est montrée joyeuse tous les jours, serviable, disponible et élégante ! Allez-y les yeux fermés !!

The whole hotel is made of wood and gives you a very jungle-esque vibe. The resort is laden with lush greenery and gives you that serene vibe clubbed with the beautiful beach at the drop of the hat. Breakfast spread was lavish and the staff took care of our dietary needs. They even upgraded our room to a higher category. Highly recommend.

Prachtige locatie. Mooi resort, veel groen, direct aan de zee. Hele mooie bungalows. Super service. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam. Hue en haar team hebben ons verblijf tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Min dochter was jarig en Hue heeft gezorgd voor een klein taartje in de ochtend, de kamer was mooi versierd en er was persoonlijke aandacht. Ik was mijn oortjes vergeten en Hue heeft hier direct naar gehandeld en n zelfs gezorgd dat deze werden afgeleverd bij het vliegveld! Echt geweldig 🥰

De enige feedback die ik heb is dat de prijs van het eten in verhouding erg hoog is tot de locale prijzen. Daardoor was ik sneller geneigd uit te wijken buiten het resort. Als de prijzen in redelijkheid zouden staan zou ik de hele dag in het resort eten. Dat heb ik nu niet gedaan.

Absolute paradise! We stayed for 9 nights and had the best stay. Not only is the resort just breathtaking, the staff are incredible helpful and lovely (special mention to Tai, Dat, Micey and Tuyen). The villas were beautiful and only steps from the beach. Very comfortable beds and buffet breakfast was incredible.

The gym was very basic and not well looked after but you don't go to Ocean Bay to workout!

Lots of condensation develops in the room with the air conditioner on to the point of large puddles, could have even been a leaking roof with the rain. We were very keen to use the big stone bath, but the water does not stay hot long enough to fill it sadly.

It was clean at a quiet beach side. The complimentary breakfast had many choices and fruits were fresh.

The bed was large and very comfortable, the towels and linen were cotton and the presentation of the whole place very nice. I swam at the beach most days. Phuc and Thuy were so friendly, helpful and efficient. I dined at the restaurant over the water both nights and it was very lovely.

The lifeguard is too eager to ban swimming at the beach. Some vegetables in my soup at dinner had the tang of being overripe which was disappointing, thankfully I did not experience any digestive problems.

The extra bed was way overpriced. I don’t mind to pay for an extra bed, but this was only the bottom part of a box spring. We patched it by adding the cushions of the couch. Next day we asked to address it and they added an extra blanket, that did not much….

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern im Ocean Bay Resort und hatten unsere Bungalows direkt am Strand. Fantastisch! Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt und fügt sich geschmeidig in die Umgebung ein. Obwohl gewisse Bereiche / Elemente etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind hatten wir unvergessliche Tage dort. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Abendessen auf dem Pier einfach bezaubernd. Hue und Ihr ganzes Team lesen jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Immer so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt
