Not a big deal just that there’s no table in the room so I will need to work in the bed. Also, the air-con makes noises sometimes.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026We were frustrated at the late communication regarding how to gain after hours access to our room. We found out the email came to us when we were mid flight and did not have internet coverage, we feel this could have been sent two days before. Then we could have been prepared.

A special thank you to Deepika at reception, who was very friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again. A+++ service and hospitality. Highly recommended! 😊

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Small but reasonably well appointed room -- excellent bed, excellent shower, great location (near to Casino, town hall entertainments, etc., only a few blocks from the city centre so very walkable.
My only disappointment was that the TV options did not include Sky. It would have been nice to watch the All Blacks v Springboks 4th test lying in bed on Sunday morning! Also a desk or larger table would have been welcome.

there is some sort of problems with plumbing - drain in the bathroom sink appears to be clogged. Also cold water tap makes whistling sound. would be worth to have a look at it.

Our room was quite small, but it was ok for our 2-night stay. $20 per night to park the car is a bit on the expensive side.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026It was pleasantly surprisingly. I’m usually a 5 star hotel stayer and this hotel exceeded my expectations. SO clean. The beds are comfortable and I felt really safe. There’s a breakfast option but I didn’t have it but smelt great. TV isn’t old and has Netflix YouTube etc. spacious room, ample storage space and a good powerful hairdryer! Cleaning is every 3 days which is fine by me since I was out all day. Will definitely return here if I come back to Christchurch.
No small bathroom pack (ear buds etc) but it honestly doesn’t take away from the experience. It was actually amazing.

Need a Phd to work the radio, no toilet brush in the bathroom. We were on the 3rd floor & all night could hear the hum of the 10 outside air con units located directly below the room even though the windows were double glazed & closed, so would book the other side of the hotel next time

I had very little interaction with staff. It would have made my stay a bit more personal if the staff on the front desk had interacted more.
