Excellent location, close to many attractions, beautiful spacious room, great bathroom, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff, very nice bar on main floor

Location was excellent. All staff really helpful and arranged a late check out for us. Some really nice sweet touches like providing a bookmark for the book on my bedside table & glasses cleaning cloth.

Could be noisy as our room was at the front directly overlooking Main Street

I dined at Abrielle twice and thoroughly enjoyed their European-style cuisine. Great ambience, and impeccable service from the staff. Regarding my room, I was pleasantly surprised to find L'Occitane products in the bathroom, and fluffy robes in the closet

Pulling up in my car at the hotel on busy W. King, tram tracks prevented me from stopping there to ask concierge for directions to the parking garage. As it turns out, the hotel only offers valet parking. Thankfully, I found a public parking garage right around the corner on Peter Street.

Amazing location with hardly any need to use taxis or other transport to explore Toronto. Spacious and clean room. Extremely comfortable mattress, we both slept sooo deeply and woke up refreshed. Nice to have high quality complimentary coffee and toiletries, plus free sparkling water in the dispensers. Staff were lovely at check-in and check-out. Would highly recommend to anyone I know.

Always a great stay when I’m in town. Very nice and accommodating staff. From the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. Every employee is pleasant and respectful.

There is nothing I don’t like. I’ve stayed at the Sutton Place numerous times. From the beginning, when they were called King Blue. I wish they would bring back the complementary glass water bottles they used to have in the rooms. They added a touch of class.

.The Sutton Place Hotel gave me the best experience I’ve ever had in all my years staying at hotels. From the moment I arrived for the Caribana Festival, the staff treated me and my fellow retired New York City Police Department officers with genuine care and professionalism. Diondre set the tone from day one. He introduced himself, remembered all our names, and made sure we were taken care of every time we saw him. The Caribana snack table with sodas and beef patties was a perfect touch before heading out to the festivities. I also had trouble getting around to certain places in Toronto, and Diondre personally helped me get to every destination. The Sutton Place Hotel truly found a jewel. If I ever open a hotel, he’s the first person I’m hiring as a manager. Miriam, the restaurant manager, handled a situation I had with grace and professionalism. She was consistently kind, and I appreciate her for that. Ankar makes the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. He put real effort into it—shaking that mixer like he was trying to break a record—just to make sure it was perfect for me. I appreciate that level of dedication. I can’t forget Vanaati, the room attendant for room 511. She kept my room smelling fresh and feeling comfortable every single day. The rooms themselves were extremely spacious, and for the price, it was absolutely worth it.The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown Toronto. The CN Tower is less than a 10‑minute walk, and the Toronto Blue Jays stadium is also walking distance. Shoppers Market is directly across the street, so anything you need is right there. This was an amazing experience. I’m telling every police officer, friend, and family member to stay at The Sutton Place Hotel. They made me want to come back again next month—maybe I’ll catch a baseball game while I’m there. The rest of the team was great too, especially the female Asian security officer—top notch. Security overall was excellent, and your family will feel safe.

The only thing I didn’t like was the gym setup upstairs. There was only one bench available, and with five people working out at the same time, we all had to share. A second bench would make a big difference and give guests a much better workout experience.

Absolutely nothing

This is one of the nicer places we’ve stayed. We were warmly greeted by check-in upon arrival, who also spent quite a bit of time sorting thru nearby Toronto attractions. The hotel decor was simple but elegant. Our room was immaculately clean and spacious. Sound insulation was good, given its location in downtown. CN Tower, Central Station, waterfront and sports arenas are all an easy walk. Definitely worth the price.

The hotel is beautiful! The staff were awesome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. The food was amazing and the staff in the restaurant area were amazing. I met a very beautiful and kind staff member on the day of my departure who was simply an angel! I would recommend this hotel and I would most definitely stay here again!

We had a double double room which was very spacious. Water and ice machines on the floor were really great. Gym was well equipped and had water machine and cold towels. Good location.

Our room was quite noisy at night being on the third floor.

Easy and speedy check in. Large bathroom with 2 separate sinks, a bath and a huge shower. L’Occitane bathroom products which smelt divine. The lighting in the room was very good, some hotel rooms are quite dimly lit, not here! Nice clean swimming pool. The hotel was in a good location 10 -15 minute walk to CN tower and harbour. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel giving different dinner options.

The room and the staff were excellent.

Breakfast was too slow and too up-market. No need for the fancy breakfast - ate out for breakfast after day 1. Hot water machine on floor was broken so no access to make tea without going to the restaurant to get cups of boiling water to take to the room. There was no hot water for showering on the last morning. Disappointing for the price. I would always expect hot water to wash!

D’Andre and Sue were a delightful duo that were incredibly kind and lovely to help us with directions to our next destination. They were incredibly pleasant, thank you for making such a mundane moment so enjoyable!

Location was great. The front desk staff were amazing. The bar/restaurant had a great happy hour and food was quite good. The facility was modern and easy to get to by public transport (if needed) and walkable to Billy Bishop airport.

We really enjoyed our three night stay, very comfortable, friendly approachable staff and great location. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel, a great experience. As soon as you walked in you felt welcome.

we only used this hotel for sleep honestly - the cleaning staff was amazing. Our room was species and clean. Hotel is walk distance to pretty much everyone you might want to visit and nice restaurants around it.

The hotel is lovely and has a great location, but what really stood out was the fabulous, personalized service that Julian provided. He assisted with transportation, tour recommendations and restaurant recommendations. He made the trip so much more relaxed and we saw some sites we would have missed had it not been for him. Would highly recommend.

The rooms and common areas were spotless, and the staff did a great job maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions.

The only thing I missed was having breakfast included, although the in-room coffee machine was a nice convenience.

Our room was under furnished and had essentially no wall decorations. The plugs were poorly located which made it hard to do desk work.

Our room (Classic) had a living area (albeit a bit narrow) separate from the bedroom with a door to block off TV noise if needed, as well as a second small washroom. Overall, plenty of elbow room and no noise issues despite being on busy King St. Nearby access to the 504 and 510 tram lines made our sightseeing easier. No hesitation recommending.

They put us in a room that above it had LOUD metal creaking noises all night. Also the pool is nice but small so two people doing laps meant we had to be entirely on the edge. Also not enough bedding/blankets.

My parents and I loved our experience at Sutton Toronto! The room was lovely and clean. The location was super convenient, right in the middle of downtown and only a 15-minute walk to the main train station. The front desk agent was really kind and helpful! Luckily, our room was ready when we arrived in the morning!

Ideally located near to the Roger’s Centre, Eaton Centre, the downtown and theatre area. The staff were attentive without being invasive. The gym and swimming pool were appreciated.

No kettle in the room. The Nespresso machine was different to what we use in the UK and needed monitoring to ensure that the machine ceased at the appropriate time.

Wonderful property. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms with high-end amenities, excellent and easy valet parking, and incredibly welcoming and professional staff. This will be our go to hotel in Toronto, now. Highly recommend. (We had a king classic - make sure to ask for a room with a couch as some have a weirdly large bathroom and no where to sit!)

Great location - a streetcar stop is right outside and it’s a 10 minute walk from Union station. Lovely rooms, especially the bathroom. All staff were friendly, but a particular shoutout to D’Andre on the front desk for his clear enthusiasm for Toronto and his job - he spent plenty of time at check in sharing restaurant and activity recommendations that were much appreciated 😊

Over priced didn’t issue rewards points - mediocre rooms - many other better options in the area to stay at. Stayed at location in Vancouver much better hotel. This one is a glorified hospital. Don’t recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto for two nights in April, 2026. This charming six-storey boutique hotel has a warm, old-Toronto feel paired with attentive, old-fashioned service that made us feel genuinely welcome. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, with beautiful linens, a spacious bathroom, and a terrific walk-in shower. Everything was thoughtfully appointed and exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the staff—professional, helpful, and consistently gracious. Their attention to detail elevated the entire experience. The location couldn’t have been better for our plans—it suited us perfectly. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, character, and excellent service in Toronto.

The size of the room was very spacious and the bed was perfect. Multiple seating options in the room not just the bed. Staff were great.

Kept flooding the bathroom every time I used the shower as it looked like I was in an accessible room. But it dried out quickly. Would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room not just a coffee machine. A lot of external noise due to 24 hour construction in the city, which is not within the hotels control

Sutton Place is an absolutely fantastic hotel to stay at. Julian helped us with our check-in and Dre, the concierge showed us the most amazing spot for dinner. Keith assisted us with our valet needs and our bags and was an absolute pleasure. Honestly so excited to come back!

The carpet did not seem to be very clean. I'm not sure if guests are only allowed the initial 2 bottles of water. We drank the 2 provided, but they were not replaced.

Top zentral gelegen, schöne, große Zimmer. Pool und Fitnessbereich einladend. Man kann fussläufig viele Touri Hotspots erreichen. Tram fährt direkt vor der Tür. Dennoch ruhig.

Für uns hat alles gepasst. Wir waren eine Woche dort. Einziger (Mini)Kritikpunkt: es gab nur eine Kaffeetasse, auf Nachfrage wurde eine zweite gebracht, allerdings nur an einem Tag.

Friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble, check in and out both really smooth, we never saw an unfriendly face anywhere; perfect location close to the baseball; lovely comfortable room, extra bottled water was supplied when requested.

One afternoon when swimming with my kids there were 4 unsupervised boys who threw a ball at us hard (and stung) and were shouting the whole time, dive bombing etc which took the shine off but this is the fault of the parents not the hotel. The only other things and this is being really picky is it would have been nice to have the option of self service laundry facilities and also a hot tub by the pool!

Perfect location, amazing suite, lovely l’occtaine products, but most of all the staff - they were so welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond. Pool on top floor was lovely and warm. Highly recommend if you want a luxurious experience at a hotel.

Amazing Hotel and the staff was so helpful and polite and welcoming, our room 306 was so nice and big and so well cleaned all the time but we gave her days off ❤️ The food in the Hotwl was amazing, and the reception boys where so good all of them 😃 We will definitely come back to this Hotel it is a perfect located. Julian at the front desk was AMAZING. He helped me work through an issue professionally and seamlessly and was so friendly throughout the whole process. He was a wonderful representative for this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were very friendly, the location was excellent. I like the security measures taken where a key card is required to enter the hotel at night and to use the elevators.

One late night I noticed the lights in the hallway were turned off except for a few very dimmed lights. (Late night of Tuesday March 17 until the next day). I can understand that they may have been trying to save energy or perhaps there was a malfunction with the lights, and this was the first time I noticed it during our stay. I thought about someone returning to their rooms in the dark or someone knocking on my door and I imagined it would have been a little scary not to be able to see clearly.

I enjoyed the quietness and the helpful staff. There is a nice Asian( I believe) young man who was great. I appreciate them helping me and even bringing me something to my room to help me celebrate my birthday.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. They had great recommendations and were overall just so nice. The rooms are big and clean. The location is great, you’re close to so many restaurants, cafes, and tourist attractions. This is my second time staying at the property and I will be back again.

Leider auch wieder eines der Hotels, in dem man die Fenster nicht einmal einen Spalt weit aufmachen kann. Man ist daher zu 100% auf die Klimaanlage angewiesen. Wirklich ärgerlich.

Relaxing, high-quality stay in a great location in downtown Toronto. The room came with bath robes and the shower was amazing. The front desk and room service was incredibly responsive and helpful. They also let me store my luggage with a ticket after my stay so I could continue to go sightseeing without lugging my suitcase around. Room was quiet and I got a lot of rest during my stay.
