Breakfast very good, an excellent choice

It was fine but I couldn’t sleep due to constant noise of start up and finish sound of generator and when spoke and shown where it was coming from they just ignored me .

Breakfast was lovely, staff were very helpful and a comfy sleep

The hallway was dated and needed some TLC and so did the car park

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff are wonderful, location fantastic and breakfast is great. We’ve stayed here four or five times and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Bathroom lacked details, there was no soap holder in the shower and a towel rail should be near the sink,

The staff were AMAZING! Always on hand and willing to help, with a friendly smile. The location of the hotel is probably the best in Exmouth and the car parking is very easy. Room was comfortable and great too, with everything we needed. Thank you to the staff at Exmouth Beach Hotel 😊

Bathroom was a little tired, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall. Hotel currently undergoing renovations. Workmen just outside window on scaffolding so had to keep curtains closed. It would be good to have lighting on both bedside tables.

Incredible location for Exmouth town and beach; hotel represented solid value for money.

They called us to let us know that we had left something behind. The property was also in a great location being right on the sea front and smelt clean.

Our view was of a brick wall and the windows were filthy. There was a photo which looked like it had mould on it above the wardrobe. Breakfast was very bland. Big pot holes at the front of the property which were difficult to avoid. Had to pay £8 to park overnight and we had to be out of the car park by 11am! When we arrived no one was on the front desk- there was a number to call but there was no answer. No ramp to go into the property and we had a pram. Bed was very uncomfortable- could feel the springs. We only managed to find the light to the bathroom when we were leaving- the cord was outside of the open window! Decor was very cold and television was so small and far away we had to get up to read the guide before choosing our programme. Our door wouldn’t close properly unless we pulled it shut which caught us off guard. We were woken up at 5am by someone singing outside our window as our room backed up to the back of the property and we’re guessing the kitchen.

A mistake on my part makes this difficult to rate this hotel, as I thought we were booked into the Imperial hotel around the corner apparently a common mistake, on them trying to find our reservation

The problem parking the car safely and securely , again a problem for everyone living or running a business near a coastline. On entry to our room which was very small hot and stuffy, with a view of the building opposite covered over with scaffolding, not many sockets to plug charges in and what not. Plugged the fan into the one running the kettle, the shower room clean enough I suppose , but the rusty lid on the rubbish bin wasn't very appealing , or the surround for the push button to flush the loo. falling off .Hotel is very tired and could do with an update, so after a bad experience at a venue we went to for entertainment , on leaving that early. Went back to the hotel got our bags and left the key in the box and drove home for a good nights sleep,,,

Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Always fresh and plenty of choice. Staff kept on eye on availability and nothing ever ran out. The seaview was perfect and the location was perfecto too. A short walk to the town centre, a short walk to bars and places to eat. We asked for rooms near each other and our rooms were next door to each other. We were warned about work going on to the roof - scaffolding was up but didn't cause any problem and no work problems either.

The television in one of the rooms didn't work. Everything else perfect! Staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and comfy. Staff were helpful and pleasant, and breakfast was good. With the beach literally over the road, the location was perfect.

The staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very extensive and well presented, nice clean tables in a lovely airy room with view of the sea front. Obviously under an extensive renovation which did not spoil our stay. our bedroom was very spacious and clean.

The bathroom needs something to put toiletries on, perhaps a shelf. I did not like having to put our sponge bags on the floor.

Location is excellent across the road from beach. Nice communal areas and bar. If you are lucky you might get a parking space in front of hotel (charged daily at hotel) which is great as parking isn't the best and is higher priced than some areas. Room was basic but spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful. Fabulous breakfast continental and full English, definitely worth the money.

Would have liked to see room service to top up room essentials.

Scaffolding and poor parking for £8:00 a night , to expensive if your already paying to stop at the hotel =greed . Shower needs some rethinking to small

Loction is great , sea view rooms are large and comfortable , staff are always friendly and helpful , we have stayed here a few times and will again in the future

Stayed in the exmouth beach hotel in June and then again at the end of august. The breakfast every morning was delicious before setting out on the beach. It's been a pleasure staying with the exmouth beach hotel and would be happy to stay again in the future.

Very clean and tidy. Our room was lovely and big with great sea view. Breakfast was amazing. Good value for money

The location was perfect for the beach and just a short walk to the town. The room was nice and big, nicely decorated and the addition of the fan was an absolute bonus as the weather was very humid. The room was beautifully clean with a nice comfortable bed. The bathroom was immaculate with an added bonus of a corner bath with a jacuzzi and a very good overhead shower. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was beautiful a good range of cereals yoghurts toast and preserves and a beautiful piping hot full English breakfast with fruit juices tea and coffee aplenty. Would highly recommend

Great Location. The view from the bedroom was lovely. Room was very large. Additional bed put in for 4 year old. Shower and Bath were great with plenty of Hot Water The Staff were excellent

Was it just a licensed Bed & Breakfast with 24 hour reception. not a Hotel. Certainly not what i would call a Hotel. No food after Breakfast Time. The receptionist had to work between the desk and the Bar. No room service. Nobody used the bar area in the 5 nights we were there Carpets needed a clean. Generally very tired in the public areas. Had to pay £8 per night for parking at the Hotel. Expensive for a B&B

Location of the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was delicious with so much choice. Staff were very friendly and always helpful.

Parking could be improved. We was able to get a space on arrival but when we moved our car and came back all the spaces were gone as someone had moved our cone the hotel did advise to put out meaning we had to park along the beachfront but this was free between 6pm - 9am ( I think).

I have no complaints other than the shower, it did not suit my body, however when I asked to change rooms it was done within an hour. So they are customer focused.

The bathroom was rather on the small size in comparison to the room size.

Receptionist struggled to understand me (English), and I had to repeat myself a few times to communicate. Room was basic in appointment, with a noisy, ineffective fan and the small bathroom smelled of damp, which can trigger asthma in my wife.

Bed very poor, no sleep. Duvet very heavy, floor boards very creaky. Bottom windows screwed shut, you could see the screws on the pvc sticking out. One lamp by the side of a double bed.

Sam and Priyanka was very welcoming always a smile on there faces . You could ask them anything.the hotel was basic but really nice.

The breakfast was lovely as expected. The rooms are reasonably priced, well equipped with short stay appliances such as TV, Kettle, Fan etc. And the hotel staff are very polite and accommodating.

The hotel building looks fantastic, clearly a part of the Exmouth seafront history. It is a shame that there was scaffolding around the outer structure during my stay, but that's just nit picking and I understand that the work must be carried out in order to keep the place in good condition.

Every floorboard creaked when moving around, bathroom needing repairs - nails sticking out on bathroom doorway floor, broken off toilet roll holder shower cubicle too small to get in with door closed, but worked well. Breakfast was very good selection except the bread let it down - need better quality to match rest of breakfast!

The property had scaffolding up against the front of the property which impaired on our sea view. The room was small. The windowsill damaged. Throughout the hotel the carpets were stained. The woodwork damaged. The furniture was cheap. Very unwelcoming. The outside grounds were poor. Car parking was tight and expensive. The breakfast was limited and not worth the money. The water for the tea was in flask and was not hot enough. Not worth the money. It should be closed and renovated.

As I got into the bed and pulled back the duvet there was blood on the side of the sheet so I looked to see if there was anymore and there was quite a few even lifted the sheet up form under the mattress and there was more blood

The bathroom was very small, though recently refurbished to a nice standard. A lick of paint and cleaner carpets would improve the score. Comfy bed!

The reception staff were very polite and friendly. It felt very safe at the hotel.

The only redeemable feature of this hotel is the location.

Terrible! We stayed in room 84 at the back of the hotel. The room was small for a double, decor extremely tired and shabby. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, shower a dribble at best, noisy extractor fan that didn't switch off all night, plug for the sink jammed shut (only found this out after filling the basin). Reported all this to reception, they said they would fix the sink while out for evening meal. Came back late, not fixed. Reported again to reception in the morning, told it couldn't be fixed as maintenance didn't work weekends. Not offered any solution or compensation, staff were completely disinterested.

It was right opposite the beach & the breakfast selection was good .

The Hotel was right opposite the Beach ⛱ the Staff were all very Helpful, the Breakfast was lovely. The room was clean and tidy, I will definitely be returning,
