Gorgeous rooms - we hired 3 and my daughter had hers upgraded to a huge one for free. lovely views, tasteful decor, thoughtful touches like room service and lights in the bathroom. Also comfy chairs by the window, tea, coffee and biscuits. The man at the desk was really lovely and chatty and friendly and let us use the parking spot for a few extra hours. Just an all round lovely experience, thank you so much and we will absolutely come and stay again!

The reception and staff were lovely and went above and beyond to explain everything and support us during our stay. The location was great, and it was particularly nice to have a car park away from the busy street.

The hotel could benefit from a little maintenance and updating. The smell of the older building was quite strong, and unfortunately, the beds were not very comfortable and tended to move around.

Good position for the town. We chose to park our car in a nearby car park for ease of parking. Clean and tidy room.

The hotel itself is very pleasant , staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was spacious , beds comfy etc.

Parking definitely needs to be booked. It’s quite tight and not the easiest to find but we called and a lovely chap guided us in.

We stayed 3 nights, the property was very clean & the two staff we saw who ran the reception, bar & dining were very nice

Although close to beach & town centre the property is on a steep hill which could make it difficult for the less mobile. We booked a parking space which is charged which is at the back of the property on a piece of waste ground. There is free parking at the front of the hotel but you have to be lucky to get a space.

Close to the seafront, good breakfast selection and helpful staff.

Room could be modernised. Bathroom is rather basic but sufficient if you only stay for one night.

The rooms were a lovely size, spacious, clean, large windows, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly

We had to enter in through the back door from where we parked the car, wasn’t very well sign posted and well lit… but it wasn’t an issue just a suggestion

The reception area and the downstairs seemed dark and needs an upgrade. The biggest issue was the uneveness of the bedroom floor which meant we couldn't wait to get out.

Room was lovely size and very bright. Very clean. Quiet location. Parking was available. Could see the sea from our window.

The room was tired and there were crumbs on the bedside table. Bathroom was unpleasant and shabby. We paid for a parking space but had to block a car in as there were insufficient spaces.

Looks very tired and dated and the breakfast was pretty poor compared to one we had at a cafe down the road which cost less. It seems like one chap runs it on his own he was doing every job going. He was super friendly and helpful but I think he could ha e done with some help.

The upstairs need updating compared to the downstairs. It was so hot in our room. All guest's only got a couple hours sleep, we couldn't even keep the windows open as they wouldn't stay open. Wasn't worth the money we paid unfortunately

It was clean and simple, ideal location and lovely breakfast.

Only comment really is that the shower head wouldn't stay put so we had to jam it up with a nail file.

location was very good, limited parking behind the hotel but this is usual. Nice lounge area although we did not use it as we were only there 2 nights.

The sprung mattress was lumpy, they need to be changed asap.

The breakfast is excellent value for money. If I had one one complaint it would be the orange juice at breakfast which I would say was more like a water down orange squash.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely sea view overlooking Exmouth seafront, we will certainly be booking the hotel in the future.

Our twin beds were a little on the narrow side and a bit creaky, however this did not spoil our stay.

Not a criticism on the hotel as it is the same for every hotel in that area, lack of parking.

No hot water. Shower was luke warm. Bedroom was dirty. Lots of dust on surfaces. Very noisy. Walls very thin, can hear next door. Had some kind of birthday party event going on. Was extremely noisy and the party continued in the road until well gone midnight. Had my window open. Drunk guests next diir noisy and smoking. Smoke came into.my room

Front of house team were really welcoming and the hotel was clean and relaxing to stay in.

Really close to the town centre and you pay for parking out back in a town with limited parking

When we arrived and I used the bathroom someone’s wee was in there from previous use with a pill. I had to flush and buy bleach to clean before using. The building is also extremely dated.

The property is in an excellent location within a short walk to the beach and the town centre. Staff were friendly and welcoming and rooms were clean. We booked a parking place at the back of the hotel.

Breakfast was poor and not worth paying extra for as there are plenty of cafes within a short walk of the hotel.
