The staff were very friendly. Valet parking was extremely helpful. Location was very nice, about 15 minute walk to the main street, lots of restaurants closer by. The rooms have a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice.

The bathroom flooded during general use and it was clearly visible that there had been a leakage from the floor above. The airconditioning did not cool down the room that much in the day, but made it too cool in the night. Sound isolation could be better, both inside (we could hear neighbours) as outside (we got woken up by the sound of the mosque nearby).

The sheets and pillowcases weren’t clean and we could see some hair left on the sheets which shows they hadn’t been changed.

I booked this room for my brother and he was satisfied with the location. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was not good. The room my brother received was different from the one I had booked for them. A smaller room was given to them while I had paid for a bigger room.

La habitacion era muy amplia y cómoda, con sofa y escritorio y vistas con el castillo a lo lejos. Muy buen desayuno tipo bufet aunque la sala queda un poco pequeña si el hotel está lleno.

La piscina interior no estaba muy limpia o cuidada a pesar de ser un hotel nuevo. Nos vendieron un tour a la isla de Akdamar, pero se canceló media hora antes de la salida. Además, parece que hay que tener cuidado con esos tours, que algunos son mas bien de fiesta y visitan los monumentos solo de fuera.

Dear Booking.com Customer Service, We booked [Hotel Name] for two nights but left after the first night because of serious problems at the property. A Booking.com representative confirmed that the unused second night could be refunded if the hotel approved the change. However, despite Booking.com having no objection, the hotel refused to authorize the refund. Throughout our stay, the Wi-Fi was completely unavailable, despite repeated attempts by the staff to fix it. We were also trapped in the hotel elevator for approximately 15 minutes. My wife suffered a panic attack, while the reception staff responded dismissively and simply told us not to worry because someone would eventually get us out. The service, safety, and professionalism of the staff fell far below the standards expected from a five-star hotel. Since we left early because of these significant failures and did not use the second night, I ask Booking.com to intervene and arrange a full refund for that night. Es liegt sehr nah am Flughafen und ist gleichzeitig sehr zentral gelegen. Rund um das Hotel befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte, die bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Auch eine Einkaufspassage ist ganz in der Nähe. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders praktisch ist auch, dass sich unten in der Lobby ein Starbucks befindet.

Das Hotel entspricht nicht dem Standard, den man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde. Die Ausstattung und auch das Frühstück erinnern eher an ein gutes 3-Sterne-Hotel. Auch der Reinigungsservice war enttäuschend. Das Personal hat lediglich die Handtücher ausgetauscht sowie Toilettenpapier und Wasser bereitgestellt. Ein ordentliches Aufräumen, wie man es von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde, fand während unseres Aufenthalts nicht statt. Darüber hinaus befindet sich das Hotel direkt neben einer Moschee, von der bereits gegen 3:00 Uhr morgens der Gebetsruf sehr laut zu hören ist. Dadurch wird man als Tourist leider regelmäßig aus dem Schlaf gerissen. Zusätzlich werden im Hotel Touren angeboten, die unserer Meinung nach überteuert sind und sich keinesfalls lohnen. Insgesamt entspricht das Hotel daher unserer Meinung nach nicht dem erwarteten 5-Sterne-Standard.

Ein sehr edles Hotel mit schönen großen Zimmern sehr zentral in Van. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl an Leckereien und ist für eine lange Zeit für die Gäste geöffnet.

In unserem Zimmer fehlte die Tür von der Dusche deswegen musste man etwas bedacht duschen um nicht das ganze Badezimmer zu fluten.

Καλή τοποθεσία για να επισκεφτείς το κέντρο με τα πόδια, καλό ξενοδοχείο, ευγενικό προσωπικό, καθώς δεν έχει ιδιαίτερο πάρκινγκ για μηχανές, μας είπαν να τις βάλουμε μπροστά στην είσοδο του ξενοδοχείου ακριβως μπροστά στη ρεσεψιόν για μέγιστη ασφάλεια (ευχαριστούμε!) Ωραία δωμάτια, μεγάλα και καθαρά και πολύ καλό πρωϊνό!

Οταν επισκεφτήκαμε το μέρος γινονταν κάποια έργα γύρω απο το ξενοδοχείο με αποτέλεσμα να έχει σχετική κίνηση, αλλά σε αυτό δεν φταίει το ξενοδοχείο!

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die zentrale Lage ist ein Riesenvorteil. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Meine Tochter und ich sind bereits zum wiederholten Male dort abgestiegen.

The staff were kind and helpful. The room sizes were excellent. The views were nice. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was reasonably nice and diverse with choices.

Мне понравился душ в номере, хороший напор воды хороший ремонт. У отеля хорошее расположение, на первом этаже есть Starbucks, правда он без внешних вывесок почему-то, но это Starbucks. Сотрудники доброжелательные, номер чистый комфортный. Жаль только халатов нет)

Поскольку отель расположен на перекрёстке то шум от машин слышен. У меня на этот случай всегда есть беруши, но некоторым гостям это может доставить дискомфорт. Завтраки не совсем очевидно что можно заказывать яичницу или омлет. Нужно искать девушку которую нужно об этом попросить.

The location was close to the shopping center and restaurants.

The hotel’s restaurant and pool were closed. Breakfast was not tasty and very few choices. The materials in the room were very short, I supposed to ask them every day for towels and paper towels.

Persistent Foul Odour: There was a constant, pungent odour emanating from the bathroom. It was so severe that it was impossible to remain in the room for more than 30 seconds. Safety Hazard (Shower): The shower enclosure lacked a door or proper screening. As a result, water flooded the entire bathroom floor during use (see attached photo), creating a significant slippage hazard. Poor Hygiene: The mattress was stained, which is unacceptable for professional hospitality standards (see attached photo). Inadequate Climate Control: The air conditioning unit was not functioning correctly, making the room temperature uncomfortable. Critical Safety Risk: The window safety latch was broken. This poses a severe fall risk, particularly for guests travelling with children (see attached photo). False Advertisement: The room was marketed and sold as having a "Lake View." However, the lake is not visible from the hotel at all. This constitutes a clear case of misleading advertisement.

The hotel has a perfect location, a very nice breakfast, and the staff were very kind and friendly.

This is a scam

I paid extra for a lake-view room, but the hotel is not even close enough to the lake to offer such a view. I have contacted Booking.com multiple times about this issue, but after two weeks, it still has not been resolved. Neither the hotel nor Booking.com has offered a refund for the additional amount I paid. To make matters worse, there was a leak near the window, allowing rainwater to enter the room. Overall, this was an awful experience and very poor service.

The breakfast was not in 5star hotel range. The room’s carpet wad not clean enough. Also in the last day we wanted to leave early and 15 min after restaurant start time, the day before we asked if there is possiblity to have breakfast pack and the reception said you can go and the staffs will provide box but when we were there they didn’t provide anything and said just eat here. So this affected our plan, they could easily say it is not possible and we could plan based on that but the wrong info led us to inconvinence which we didn’t experince this kind of behaviours before.

There is a mosque next to the hotel and it broadcasts “Azan” 3:40 am and it wakes you up every night so not the best place to sleep. However, the staff are very nice and helpful; breakfast is decent

No hot water for showering, no blanket, no towel, very bad services.

Booked for 3 nights, could not even stay for 10 min in the room, the room was in very bad condition, burned and stained furniture, dirty bed sheets , dirty carpets, the room smelled like commercial kitchen. And the hotel corridor in very bad condition. The staff very rude and not helpful. After we said we don’t want to stay in this hotel they did not even help us to carry our suit cases. Ended up moving to another hotel and did not get our money back from this hotel.

The staff were friendly and polite, and the hotel location was convenient and easy to access.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. The room was not clean at all – the sofa had visible cigarette burn marks and stains, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel. The bathroom design was also very poor. There was no proper shower door, so every time we used the shower, water flooded the entire bathroom floor and even reached the toilet area. This made the bathroom messy and unsafe. The bed was uncomfortable, and most of the furniture and facilities looked very old and worn out, as if they had not been updated for a long time. Breakfast was also extremely poor in quality and variety – definitely below expectations. I contacted Booking.com about these issues, but unfortunately no effective action was taken. Overall, this hotel does not meet basic cleanliness and comfort standards, and I would not recommend staying here.
