Erg vriendelijk personeel. En ik werd gratis geupgrade naar een mooiere kamer dan ik had geboekt.

Ik denk dat het vooral de scheve vloer was in de kamer. Verder beviel alles goed.

The location is perfect, right in the town centre. The room was lovely, cosy and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

We parked in the station car park, which was convenient, but it would have been helpful to receive information about parking before arrival, perhaps with a special rate or discount for hotel guests. There was no breakfast offered at the hotel, although we were kindly advised of a nearby café. Unfortunately, we couldn’t remember the name in the morning! It might be a good idea to leave the café details on a little note in the room, perhaps along with a small discount for hotel guests.

A great find in an amazing location and a lovely pub.but!!

This place was only let down by cr@^k heads over the other side of the road. They were there shouting all night(should of known witht the provided earplugs)which made it very hard for my wife to sleep. I know this isnt the pubs fault,but if you get a chance get a room at the back(unless the cr@ck heads move to the back). We will definitely stay again though.

We stayed for 1 night on our way home to Cornwall. On arrival each member of staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Everything provided for our stay. We chose to eat in the bar and the food served was excellent. Wr sampled the ales brewed on site and had a very enjoyable evening. The room was very quiet and we slept well. Will definitely be our go to accommodation when we visit Exeter.

Super close to The Phoniex and carpark. Staff friendly and helpful. Good idea to supply ear plugs as experience gas proced it can get noisy on a weekend or bank holiday due to locations.

Lighting was a bit dim for my personal taste but fitted with ambience of the older world room.

Very central over a lovely pub with good food

Perfect, as described, a comfortable b&b over a pub. Quiet on the Tuesday night we stayed but I would imagine weekends in summer could be noisy as there are rooftop beer gardens

Lovely accommodating staff, fabulous little touches in the rooms, powerful showers.

Lovely old building, nice bathroom

Welcoming, clean and comfortable in a central location. Had king room which was spacious and cozy with great extras like good quality soap etc. , Dyson fan, nespresso coffee maker and good quality linen and towels. Bar downstairs very friendly.

None from our perspective but if you dont want any street noise or stairs then it's not the place for you.

Tolle Lage nur 5 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Exeter Central,uriges Pub unter den Zimmern, freundliches Personal.

Zimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen aber für 1 Nacht OK, bisschen laut von den Gästen im Pub (aber mit dem muss man rechnen wenn man dort ein Zimmer bucht) Zum Frühstück muss man ca 7 min in ein anderes Hotel gehen,aber dort war das Frühstück sehr gut.

Emplacement parfait, pas de petit déjeuner inclus donc pas de retour possible sur ce point, accueil adorable, chambre et sdb impeccables, propres et très bien équipées, ventilateur, fer à repasser, machine à café, eau fraîche, rideaux occultants, télévision... rien ne manquait, literie très confortable, on a passé une très bonne nuit !

Didn’t have breakfast as was heading off early. The room was great had so many facilities and bed was very comfortable. A real hidden gem!

Only thing was the shower was very powerful and soaked the bathroom as only partly covered by a glass panel

Great, friendly staff, a lovely stay in a super location in the centre of town. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and communicated extremely well. Very much recommended.

Ich hatte ein sehr gemütliches Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk. Ich wurde herzlich empfangen und mir wurde alles, was ich wissen muss, sehr ausführlich erklärt. Top Lage direkt in der Fußgängerzone.

Character of the place, very nice friendly staff. Temperature was 30+ and staff brought an ice bucket with a water bottle in it to my room without me asking. There was also a good fan so it was cool and comfortable. Very close to cathedral which is what I wanted.

The Turks Head is on the High Street and England were playing Norway in the quarter finals of the World Cup so it was noisy! I didn’t really mind and the staff were so thoughtful putting ear plugs by the bed. I didn’t use them as I didn’t mind too much. I was pleased England had won too! I would stay there again and it wouldn’t be that noisy on a regular night!

La rue etait plutot bruyante, ce qui est completement normal pour le centre ville. Il manque des etageres et autres rangements dans la salle de bain.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean, comfy and homely.

Parting was tricky as it was a busy day in Exeter.

The King's Suite was a lovely, clean room to stay in. It was fairly spacious, and had great facilities like a coffee machine, kettle and fan. We stayed during a heatwave so it did get quite hot in the room, but the powerful fan provided in the room did an excellent job of keeping us cool. The bed was very comfortable. Despite one window facing a high street, and the other window facing a pub garden, the noise wasn't bad at all. We slept soundly. The food was amazing at the Turk's Head and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The room was a bit awkward to get to as it's right at the top of a couple of narrow staircases.

Schönes Zimmer über einem urigen Pub. Mit modernem Ventilator zum Kühlen. Schönes Badezimmer mit besonders hübschen Fliesen. Tolle Dusche. Topp-Lage zur Kathedrale und zur Innenstadt.

Ein kleiner Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer wäre schön gewesen. Parken ist schwierig; nur in öffentlichen Parkhäusern möglich.

The room is very nice, spacious, and clean. Located right in the city center and above a cool pub.

We were on the last floor and the room was very hot. Definitely not well-suited for a heatwave, or hot summer days. We barely slept that night but the hotel was kind enough to do a partial refund after we explained the room’s conditions. If it hadn’t been that hot or if we had been on a lower floor, we probably would’ve had a much nicer stay.

The location was excellent. The bedroom was clean and well furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The access was narrow, steep and awkward. Maybe to be expected in a medieval building. The lack of breakfast or any snacks in the room was a disappointment especially as the hotel serves lunch and evening meals.

Arrived and was taken to our room where it was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned half drank bottle of water by the bed and bed not made we where re assured that it had been cleaned but an mistake from house keeping. Over half an hour later we where told we where in the wrong room and that it had not been cleaned this is whilst I was in the shower!! Me and my partner where very disappointed

"Boutique" rooms above a super old pub with its own brewery! Room was spacious, comfortable bed, all the necessary facilities like hair dryer, iron and board, kettle and coffee maker. Nice modern bathroom and shower. The location was perfect, just round the corner from the cathedral and shopping area, with plenty of other pubs and restaurants nearby. Very good value.

Nothing, it was perfect for our overnight stay.

Extrem gute Lage, typischer englischer Charme mit engem Treppenhaus und schiefen Böden. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man muss am Wochenende mit etwas Geräuschkulisse aus der Fußgängerzone rechnen (Oropax ist aber vorhanden 😉). Tolles, großes Pub!

Location wise the hotel was absolutely spot on. Did know in advance rooms were quite noisy from previous reviews. Did stop at 11pm. Room was well equipped with everything however for the price thought it could have been a little more on the cleaner side!

Location is very convenient, centre of Exeter , It’s a lively Pub attracting a young Crowd , Staff are Friendly and Helpful , Showers work well , Towels and Bedlinen nice and fresh , No Fridge for Milk unfortunately, Nice and warm Radiator, Room 3 is a good size , Take Snack for Breakfast as no Food on site in the morning , No overnight Staff , Nice and quiet after the Pub closes , No lift , Steep stairs , Building has lots of History and Character , Beer was good too ,

The staff were really kind and welcoming. We're staying at top floor which was super cosy. The room was clean, warm and everything we need was prepared. We’ll definitely be returning!

Everything, Superb pub, with detached authentic accommodation. Beautifully presented and the bathroom was bigger than the Hotel Indigo. Definitely worth the money

Bathroom did have a damp smell, shower not great when my husband used it but okay when I used it later . ? Timing of others using at the same time hence not much water pressure.

Just be aware the accommodation is room only, there are no breakfast facilities. Although cafes are within a short walk.

Perfectly situated to visit everything the city centre has to offer, We had the small double but it was still a big room with a very comfy bed & fabulous shower, Loved it.

We had to climb all the way to the top of the steap narrow stairs to get to that particular room (but it was also the cheapest so it wasnt really an issue). The Coffee machine didn't seem to work, although there were no instructions.

Upon arrival we were informed of a free upgrade to our room which was fantastic! The room was spacious and clean with a lovely cosy feel.
