Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular but just what was expected.

Friendly staff, great location and great dinner and breakfast menu. We were very impressed with the fact that there were so many gluten free options and a gluten free toaster at breakfast!!!

We booked twin rooms but got a double room on the day. Not sure why our booking was changed. A bit annoying really.

It felt welcoming and the staff were lovely. Room decent size and comfortable. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Access on foot with reduced mobility not straightforward as direct ways from bus stop via steps or underpass (steps again). Had to cross road with no crossing. Otherwise hotel fine.

Das Hotel entsprach anderen Hotels der Kette. Das Bad war groß und auch das Zimmer bot ausreichend Platz für drei Personen. Das Personal hat die Schlange während des Frühstücks gut gemanagt und war durchweg freundlich und bemüht. Positiver war, dass es zum Frühstück mehr vegane Alternativen gab.

Wir haben die Schokocreme beim Frühstück vermisst. Englisches Frühstück ist grundsätzlich nicht unser Fall, das ist aber nicht dem Hotel anzulasten.

Very friendly and helpful person on Reception and friendly staff in dining room. Quiet room with comfortable bed and walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast. Convenient location for walking to Mill on the Exe restaurant and to St Thomas and St David's Stations.

It’s absolutely fine, but I have to say I was a little disappointed. I had informed you in advance about my dietary requirements and specifically requested gluten-free and dairy-free options for breakfast. Unfortunately, there was almost nothing suitable for me to eat. Apart from some bread, I couldn’t find any appropriate options, not even a simple plain egg. As a result, I wasn’t able to have breakfast. I completely understand that these things can happen, but as I had mentioned my dietary requirements beforehand, I was expecting at least a simple alternative to be available. Especially when these dietary options are offered, it would have been helpful to have something suitable prepared. It’s not a major problem, but I wanted to share my experience so that it can hopefully be taken into consideration in the future.

The bed was small and the air conditioning unit needs maintenance, it made a thumping sound when in use.

Location turned out to be advantageous at bottom of hill so easy to walk down from town. Breakfast included so that’s a plus.

A little away from convenience stores and tricky to work out how to get around at first. Breakfast was a bit boring and repetitive by 4th morning. Rotations of fruit instead of same berries or occasional boiled egg choice as change from scrambled eggs everyday would be nice

We found it very strange that people just helped themselves to as much as they wanted to but we understood once we talked to staff.

The food was very good.

Location excellent for us. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Unfortunately when we closed the curtains in our room there was an issue with the cleanliness of them, some unknown, unpleasant thing was wiped on them. I did mention this to the staff the following morning and they were very apologetic. It didn't cause us a particular problem it was just unpleasant. But this was the only issue.

Un problema grande lo abbiamo avuto tutti con i cuscini, ma dico tutti perché a colazione sentivo anche altre famiglie dire la stessa cosa. Cuscini duri come i sassi. Ecco magari andrebbe cambiato qualcosina per fare dormire meglio gli ospiti

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliches Personal. Leider gab es aufgrund von Personalmangel keinen Roomservice, was für 2 Tage kein Problem war, für einen längeren Aufenthalt jedoch stören würde. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Exeter zu erkunden!

Wir haben zu viert 2 Nächte in einem Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einer schmalen Schlafcouch verbracht. Die war so unbequem, dass keiner darauf gut schlafen konnte. Wir haben nach einer Nacht getauscht, damit jeder wenigstens eine Nacht Schlaf abbekommt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht; wir haben zwei Ventilatoren bekommen. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, es wurde schnell stickig. Wir haben die Türe zum Gang offen gelassen, weil wir das Gefühl hatten, keinen frischen Sauerstoff zu bekommen. Das Duschgel war nicht aufgefüllt. Alles in allem keine gute Erfahrung.

Handtücher hatten Löcher. Personal nicht besonders freundlich. Beim Frühstück musste man anstehen, um einen Tisch zu bekommen. Wenig Auswahl beim Frühstück.

Breakfast was poor in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in. It does state hot breakfast but it was basic with bread products not being of high quality. Fruit consisted of apples and oranges but cut fruit was not available. No pastries just mini muffins reminiscent of supermarket multipacks. Breakfast room was over crowded and even though staff were organised and professional, it was not a relaxing experience.

Die Lage in der Nähe der Innenstadt ist ideal für Ausflüge ins Umland wie auch für Shopping-Trips in Exeter. Das Frühstück ist okay, solange man kein kontinentales Frühstück erwartet.

In unserem Zimmer (Doppelbett mit Schlafcouch) war es bei ausgeklappter Couch etwas eng - das sollte man bedenken, wenn man die Koffer nicht komplett auspacken will. Parkplätze im Innenhof sind kostenpflichtig und nicht ganz billig.

The property was Nat an issue. However, I was double billed on one of the parking fees even although I was advised by the machine the transaction had failed and like many companies today it is almost impossible to contact an actual company representative. You get an email to your own email address but no response that the company is sorting out the problem. Regrettably I had heard of this sort of thing occurring before coming to the UK
